It's a diplomatic move to better connect with slaver nations. See, I don't believe slavery is entirely evil, so long as slaves are treated humanely and are allowed certain freedoms. I also believe nations enter into slavery due to economic hindrances, so I wish to start an economic boosting system to ensure those nations have the stability to abandon the practice. I also like New Nicksyllvania's idea of forcing nations who have poor slavery practices (abusive, poor quality labor, etc.) to also abandon the business in order to monopolize the trade to nations capable or willing to be humane to slaves.
