Well, for first things different subspecies have different names. The Neko of Des-Bal and The Floor Kippers seem to be virtually identical, and the ones from your nation are probably simply a sub-sub-species of the Des-Bal ones, so no difficulties there. Most subspecies seem to be classified under the term of nekomimi, though there are exceptions, such as the catgirls of my nation, which are an all-female race and up until recently were able to reproduce homosexually. We have no idea how they lost that, but it did cause the populaton to hit a standstill for a while until we found a different subspecies that were able to reproduce with them.
