First post!
Very cool, I just re-read your history about that part too.
1700 is at the start of the Vaen Guard moving from a domestic force to a mercenary army so maybe I will do some sort of post about that.... I need volunteers for more conflicts they can participate in during this time

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
Would they have been up for aiding colonial efforts? As Noronica's army was stretched over other colonies, maybe Noronica could have paid them to play a supportive role to the regular army?

@agadar
I'm thinking about writing a short journal entry from my explorer figure about his first encounters with the Agadari around 1700. Could you give me a description about what they would look like/act like and maybe what they'd wear and what their buildings would consist of? Alternatively find me a picture to go off of?
The setting would be that of a small expeditionary party landing on a beach where you're people would be. At this point my explorer is, mid-aged and nearly done with his cartography journey and would be approaching to ask for permission to scout the interior of your country.

He will probably be one of the first settlers in the Dutch area of Michigonia (1704). Any specific merchants from a neighboring nation I could mention as establishing trade and/or political connections? Looking to get more involved here

Aren't your natives originally from the Pacific Northwest? It may be that our native peoples are distant relatives (potentially even from the same migration). It would make sense that, through them, you may have knowledge of the He'enboc capital of Vaamhaar, and the colonies of Manosca(1632) and Arle(1649), which were the main precursor colonies before my country's unification.

Michigonia wrote:Yes, My natives are distantly related to Chinook tribes in the PNW, and migrated around 0 CE, which would line up with your pre-European history. So they could also be related to, but separate from, the He'enboc tribes. Is it ok to mention this in my fleshed-out history overview? I may namedrop Arle as a place where some of my European settlers had been prior to settling in the Dutch, English, and Spanish areas of Michigonia.

Hey there,
Are you on The Western Isles map? Since we're an RP region, members should be on the map.

Tell you what, I'll reply with a character receiving them.
For now, let's say that they arrived in Port Sinare, Noronica's most important trading city and it is in the east. They would report to the Noronnican Navy which had the majority of its fleet in Port Sinare. The Noronnicans would compensate your people for damages at sea but they would be very arrogant. If you plan to make a post, my navy personnel would be very highly-opinionated and act like dicks to a lot of people. They wouldn't openly insult those who came to help them, but they always think they are superior.
Other than that, your people can explore the city while they are compensated and are restocked, etc. If you plan to write, the city is huge, second to the capital with vast amounts of markets and Gael businesses.
