I think it might be a little late for that, that would involve editing a fair few posts.

I say keep the grenade, it'll piss people off and make a neat little story arc.

The "Grenade incident" is going to pass, because homework.

Rounding up a soldier from a different army in your coalition and executing him for a slight ear wound caused by friendly fire incidents isn't the best thing for keeping unit cohesion

I'll let Torocca have the last word, but there's no way Vlad is getting executed without Eru's consent, that's godmodding in itself.

Either way, just like police can't go around summarily executing people without trial, this is ridiculous too considering its a coalition member who has its own laws regarding military. Most likely ship him back home where he faces court-martial there and whatever punishment.

Agreed.

I'd rather we just get on with the siege and begin preparations to assault soon.

Sorry if I sound butthurt, but there's not much cooperative writing happening. My guys did their own thing because they felt it was the right thing to do and then just get told to go away and sit in the platoon area.

To be fair, that was a good one. Sorry.

Yeah I get what you guys are saying, Southall is damned angry and the matter'll probably be settled soon. But the plan was to have him shot the instant the grenade went off, the ear thing just made Southall more mad because it was one of his own chaps.

Apologies for the delays to my posting, I got sidetracked by IRL matters (and also the weather screwing me over a bit hahaha) but we'll be right on track tomorrow!

The newest IC post is up; things included are the shift in the weather condition which, in addition to the already cold air of the northern island, now includes rain and lightning. What this means is that the sandy causeway is gonna turn pretty muddy and difficult to slog through, in addition to making any vehicular activity (for the time-being) impossible. Visibility will be constrained, even more so as the storm builds up intensity (and it certainly will), so men are gonna have a tough time on both sides shooting. But besides that, the first wave of the attack (the Arcadian troops mentioned in the IC) shall make their push!

Makes sense, me and Christo dibs the greek letters for callsigns as we're supposed to be attached. Others can take animals or something.

Well, they do, buuuuuuuuut the causeway is close to 100m across, so it might not be feasible to lay down such a bridge. :P

Yup. And now that it's muddy (or in the case of the road, a bit slippery) it's absolute hell to cross.

Vionna-Frankenlisch wrote:Sorry about the lack of posting, chaps, first Army Cadets session today.

No worries there!

Though, when you do post, you might want to have Southall tell the non-Arcadians to hold back on crossing until Foley's men make their attempt. The causeway's deadly enough as it is, and the Coalition doesn't have enough troops to be risking sending a massive vanguard across... :P

Just lay a bridge across the first twenty meters anyways. It may not be effective but it'll make us feel better won't it?

Until everyone calls out the massive waste of military resources on a useless bridge, of course.
