Because Deian asked me for help, let me reply to you with few basic words.

1) There was no real RPing of detection in your post. Reconnaissance is 70% of naval battles, and you just magically assumed that you know where Deian's navy is.

2) Gun battles in modern naval warfare are rather rare. Missiles play major role.

3) If you gotten that close, Deian's long ranged recce assets (like AEW, whatever type he has) would most likely have detected you far earlier than you getting a chance for a strike.

4) We have to remember that modern naval warfare usually happens on pretty long ranges.

I agree with cuscy actually, but I do agree deleting your post was unnecessary, I just was thinking of a simple solution and did the first thing that came to mind which was deletion. That was again, my mistake.

Blatant god modding is spam; as OP you do have the right to ask for deletion, Deian and do not apologize for simply exercise your right. But then again, simply ask for edit and rewrite is the better first option IMO and none of the writers/RPer should engage in doing something like that in the first place.
