Also known as the Fustercluck (which I have been advised might not be a suitable thread title), this is an event that was promised way back on page 1 of the original Screw Realism thread, but was delayed indefinitely due to a series of unfortunate circumstances. Now, though, I'm ready to move forward with it.
What it is: A World War for FT and FanT nations. MT, PT, etc. people are welcome too, but they can't complain about power levels unless obvious godmodding is happening. This is, after all, a thread that will contain the destruction of a planet in its first five pages.
The story: Aratar the Forsaken, ruler of Karn Evil Nine and archenemy of Olwean ruler Jason Frost, has discovered a way to bring Olwe to its knees... if he's crazy enough to use it. He is, and all hell breaks loose. With the opening of Pandora's Box (yes, the literal actual artifact), all the troubles that have ever plagued the multiverse return, usually but not always in the same places they hit before. This massive temporal disturbance will allow participants to roleplay the most heinous events of their nation's past, fleshing out historical details that have previously only been hinted at in an over the top, hopefully very fun way. It will also allow us to play with characters, concepts and events from our favorite science fiction, fantasy and horror.
This is doubled down on when Olwe counters with the Horn Of Valere, bringing back into the present all the great heroes (both historical nation ones and franchise canons from Harry Potter to Han Solo) of the past.
Events will be canon for Olwe and Karn (who is my puppet), and major characters in both will be killed off for real. How canonical this is for your nation(s) is up to you. Puppets are welcome if you feel up to running more than one nation in the IC, just try not to have them collaborate with each other too much unless your main nation is absorbing one (which will be happening with a third nation of mine).
