I don't think you'll have to bring in any more forces though. I think we will be quite limited.

Sounds good. Thats what I was expecting.

Besides, SMOD is an entire division so I already have 10,000 soldiers deployed. I dont think much more than that would be needed to send a message about the intentions of the Twelve Isles.

Yup! Really how I expect this to go down is Atla will call out to your nation for aide as it fears an invasion from the larger forces of Phallia. So you would end up helping me secure the border region.

Hey, Im also wondering, do you think it would be ok If I brought artillery with me?

10,000 soldiers is a lot less than the original 80,000 I was planning to deploy, I still feel like my solders would benefit from some heavy ordinance. I was thinking one ore two MLRS's, one or two SPG's, and a company or so of Towed Artillery.

I mean yes you would typically have artillery in any sort of combined arms structure. look at my order of battle and see how I did my fires Battalions.

Well the heavier pieces of artillery are either going to have to be flown in with a heavy lift aircraft, or brought to shore on an LCAC by your marines. but no it's fine to have them in moderation, most units have artillery organic to them

Yeah, I figured I would airlift them.

Im bringing in one battery of MLRS's and one battery of SPG's to start, and see where it goes from there. Its gonna be slow going, but Ill hopefully be able to do it.

I also am bringing in a battalion of Towed Artillery, but that would take longer to get in and I probably wont even have all of them in country by the time the fighting actually starts.

Im alright with that.

The units Im deploying are all pretty mobile anyways, so they would be all over the place anyways.

Andy I would need to negotiate the use of airstrips before I can even start to think about soldiers or artillery.

Just gotta wait for the IC now.

I was thinking about the fact that there is trouble coming to the Shentong Mountain regions, but that works pretty well too.

All, just wanted fo update the whose role is what list:

Phallia: Angry water flow is being diverted and by Atla and is facing insurgency to its mining by Shentong Rebels with aide from Atla. Catalyst to conflict with Atla.

Atla: Angry about increased tariffs to goods Atla begins to divert more water to other areas in the Wein valley to the determent of Phallia's crops.

Twelve Isles: Large trading partner to Atla, intervenes on their behalf to stop invasion by Phallia.

Axxon: Mining company in Phallia wishing to root out Shentong rebels and increase shares of natural resources in the Shentong mountains. Havn't heard from this player in a bit, you still with us?

Noveos Republic Norhern neighbor of Atla, trading partner? Intervenes to stop war? I want to flesh this out more to give better reason.

Sarma: Still participating in this RP? Norhern neighbor of Atla? Hostile to Atla allies with Phallia.

Lamerika: Still participating? Trade partner with Atla? intervenes? Needs to be more fleshed out.

Muro said he would shortly. And I need to get those last 3 on the list above to respond so we can work on their "motivation" so to speak.

Is there anything else you want? If so, then here (summarize if you need to):
Noveos Republic: Relies on Atla to supply rare earths, competes with Phallian ports. Intervening in war on behalf of Atla to ensure rare earth supplies are not disrupted, will participate in a joint operation with the Twelve Isles to overthrow Phallian government.

I could add more, but I feel it's enough

Again.... the war is not going to the point where governments are being overthrown. Rarely does stuff like that happen, it is expensive, taxing on the nation doing it, and often involves long term commitments that are unpopular. You would not realistically go overthrow another government just because when it does not need to happen. If your casus belli is to secure resources, then that is the most you are going to realistically do.
