Some protesters gathered outside the capitol of West Malikay to bring to the presidents attention the request of an official animal, seeing as they lack one. After some discussion and some laughter, the president came to a conclusion by making the red fox Malikays official animal. To bring awareness to its alarmingly decreasing numbers. It symbolizes wisdom and cunning ways, as well as playfulness, charm and cleverness.
"Its kinda cute," Nicks says, looking at one in a cage, he goes to pet it as it sits still and slowly looks at his arm. "AhhHHH! Get off me arm!"
It quickly jumped on his forearm and didn't seem to want to let go.
He brushed himself off and late addressed the crowd of laughing and cheering people gathering outside.
"I am happy to announce that our official animal, is to be the red fox. Although word of warning, dont try to pet it unless you are skilled with these animals. We plan on setting up reserves for these animals to save their rapidly decreasing population and enforce more justice to those who choose to kill them." He laughs a little and looks down at his papers. "Hmm, 3 years minimum as punishment, does that sound good?"
The crow cheers and Nicks is guided back into the capitol.

KDF XIII Rashunid / KN 8th Fleet Moves into Kenya

The 13th Rashunid Division of the Kohlneasian Defense Forces have landed in Kenya to begin annexation. Resistance is expected to be minimal and largely tribal in nature - the use of force is merely to provide security and implement order, safety, and security of state officials. The largely uneducated populace will be drafted into government service and handed over to the Commerce Directory for placement. The educated populace will be granted citizenship in Kohlneas (voting rights given to children born under Kohlneasian rule). Armed nationals will be given the chance to join the KDF as auxiliary forces until proper training can be provided.

Admiral Ashad's 8th Fleet will remain off the Kenyan coast to secure supply lines and transport citizenry to and from Kohlneas (Socotra).

The 13th Rashunid is comprised of the following forces:

Vanavoy to Withdraw From the Berlin Pact

Despite 74% of the Landtag (Vanavoian Parliament) voting to remain, President Lekser has overridden the vote and made an executive decision to leave the Berlin Pact. Vanavoy has now officially declared that it will not be offering direct military support to any nation in the Berlin pact, however Vanavoy has enacted a new policy on weapons sales. Until further changes are made to the policy, Vanavoy will sell arms indiscriminately to any buyers and prices will only be available for limited negotiation on price.To take preventative measure to insure Vanavoian neutrality is not violated, any ship form a foreign military found in Vanavoian waters will be immediately sunk without attempt on contact. Similarly, any plane in Vanavoian air space will be immediately shot down General Field Marshall Franz Steier has put his full support behind the President, making the decision unchangeable.

In addition, the former deal with Noxtrem in which Vanavoian ports and air bases were open for use by Noxtrem will be immediately terminated, and Noxtrem has a week to recall any military assets in Vanavoian territory. To enforce this policy of neutrality on Noxtrem specifically, Vanavoy has threatened with a trade embargo with Noxtrem if Vanavoian neutrality is violated. Vanavoy will also be moving an additional 100,000 personnel to the border as a preventative measure against Noxtremian aggression. Both the President and the General Field Marshal have voiced disappointment with recent Noxtremian action and have stated a joint mission to be more conservative in diplomatic relations with Noxtrem.

King Isaiah just finished an address, in which he heavily criticized the Federal Republic of Noxtrem, condemning it for several major reasons. In this address, his main points were that the new travel ban and embargo on Vanavoy are absolutely ludicrous and that his assertion that Kohlneas essentially follows whatever our government does.

Noxtrem's Rebecca Petry issued a travel ban on Vanavoy due to their exit from the Berlin Pact, an alliance our nation has recently exited in favor of the SCO. As the war drags on, the front lines have yet to see a decrease in fighting. Every inch of land gained is hard fought for as the Korean Security forces refuses to go down easily. Artillery is constantly raining down on Korean Security Personnel (KSP) hampering their movement and combat abilities, yet even still, they manage to put up a strong struggle that has greatly slowed the advanced. In response, Lieutenant General Brockona ordered reinforcements to areas of the front line that have seen the least of the fighting in a plan to cut through the territory while the enemy is distracted and flank them on multiple sides. During the mission, the convoy was ambushed by Korean Security Personnel where heavy fighting ensued. The ambush was repelled but not after some vehicles were damaged, needing repair, along with 65 dead and 34 wounded. After an hour, the convoy was able to repair their vehicles and continue their mission, which was a success. Though the enemy had prepared for them, having to divide their attention away from the main area of fighting was what the Yurikian military needed to push the KSP back.

On the island of Jeju, Yurikian forces prepared to take the city of Jeju. Just have sunrise, the battle commenced with the city being attacked on multiple sides on land. When most of the KSP's attention was directed to the land assault, Yurikian Marines started their attack from the water. With fire support from the mountain, Yurikian troops pushed into the town. Unorganized enemy troops rushed to put up makeshift barricades in an attempt to slow their enemy. After several hours of fighting, Jeju fell and island came under Yurikian control. With the island under control, the military looked to use it as a staging area to invade the Southern half of Skitlla.

Meanwhile in Gangneung, Yurikian troops struggle to capture the city as KSP forces dig in. In the first stages of the attack, Yurikian troops captured Gangneung Airbase to eliminate their air superiority and set up an FOB. Yurikian troops are slowly taking the city as they battle block by block, house by house, clearing out any resistance they find. Without direct fire support from the navy due to civilians, bombarding the enemy into submission is not an option. One soldier noted that there was a rifleman behind every corner and an IFV on every major intersection. In an attempt to capture more land and draw attention away from the city, two more landing points were fought for, as Yurikian marines succeeded in obtaining beachheads above and below the city. The attacks came in the middle of the night when the enemy was unprepared for it. In doing so, KSP troops were pulled from the city to defend against the landings in areas where naval fire support was able to be used. Thanks to fire from the navy, the marines have pushed quickly against the KSP and will soon flank the city. It's expected that the city will not fall for awhile. More troops have been ordered to reinforce the city in the hopes of taking it quicker.

Market Liberalization Policy Ministry of Economics October 16, 2020 Market Liberalization This Ministry acting in correspondence with the Bundestag vote to repeal Bill 367 (the "Resource Allocation Initiative") and is now confirming the abilities of mining and oil drilling companies to collect natural resources at will. Under Bill 367 resource collection corporations were only allowed to collect a certain quantity of oil, iron, and coal. Yet it is now believed that these restrictions were unnecessary and counterintuitive to ling term economic growth. The areas where companies are allowed to indiscriminately collect resources is limited to the mineral-rich and mountainous areas in Noxtrem's south, and the coal rich areas of Noxtrem's Northwest. Additionally, the government of Noxtrem is now allowing offshore drilling to take place off of Noxtrem's coastline, but in order to do this, companies must get special permissions from te government. Certain areas of Noxtrem are also going to be deemed "Free Market Zones", in these zones, several of the normal government regulations on businesses will be null and void. This is a test run, to see how these areas fare socially and economically, when lacking stifling regulation. If this program is successful, more free market programs may be used nationally. [West Malikay]

West Malikay and United States of Trumplandiaica have discussed about a mass dual arms manufacturing agreement. They have both agreed to increase military spending in a few years, as they at the moment dont have the specifics discussed. In two years they plan on mass producing hundreds of aircraft, weapons, and carriers.
In other news, Malikay has agreed to assist Senate and the People in there quest to expand their territory eastward, and Malikay is still waiting for the Ok on the request to expand eastward. However Malikay has sent spies to Yelgavius and found nothing but a small wasteland, with some small ghost towns. They plan on doing more observations sending in planes, to take photos of the town, and so far have found nothing.

Military Expansion Plans for the Next 3-8 Years

Here below Mr. President is an outlined 3-8 year plan to expand our military forces by late 2028. The plan is to expand our naval forces, air forces, and land forces by 50% by 2022 and have a full 100% expansion by 2024. After the first phase of R&D and production of the new equipment,by the end of 2024 we are looking to have mass production extending to 2028 and possibly Nuclear technologies. In addition, we are looking to upgrade our current 22 Albatross craft or just melt some of them down for the precious metals. The following plan is the plan from now to 2024 not to 2028, that plan will come later in the future.
PS: All equipment below is fitted for the current standards for the year they are built.

After this 4 year period we will start the expansion of our Nuclear program and REDACTED program. This plan is set to apply October 14th, 2020.
