The LFN has been in a state of destress for some time. The people of the NLFN and the people of the DRLFN toe to toe. With the instep of a new faction the balance is tipping. A Pro Sevevill Party has started to from with backing form the Sevevill Govenment. Hundreds of people form the both almost equaly oppressive NLFN and DRLFN have flocked to it for the hope the communisim will be stopped with the formation of a govenment somewhat more like Sevevills. Friend No.2 Looked astonished at the news that there were new uprisers. Trying to take his land. He imidiately turned his soldiers and officer.

"I want them Iliminated right now." He yelled in the face of the officer who was close to tears after being yelled at. "Use whatever you need.

The next day soldiers had started there march twards the The Liberated Free Nations Revolotinary Fronts lines. They had over 20,000 soldiers and close to 200 tanks. They would arive mid day the next day while marching In perfect unison. It would be a long hard day for the young worn out soldiers and the child soldiers who would have to march for hours on end without rest.

The parliament of The Green Union has warned her fellow CMEP member, Sevevill, that a military intervention into the LFN will likely turn out the same way it did during the first Coalition attempt to dominate the Communist international conglomerate. The Green Union has instead recommended working to facilitate talks between the DRLFN, NLFN, and pro-Sevevill rebels.

Meanwhile, The Green Union has contacted the government of the NLFN with a warning about violently putting down pro-Sevevill extremists. The statement has reminded the government of the NLFN that such violent crackdowns usually lead to a more extreme movement emerging. The Green Union urges the NLFN to break its traditional isolationism to find common ground with other politically similar nations in Markion.

DRLFN soldiers continue the march. No word from the communist party leaders or Friend No.2. The DRLFN soldiers came under contact with NLFN soldiers who had been ordered to do the same task. Fierce fighting between the two nations left the worse nations Army in a state of dispare. Only 200 of its soldiers and armour standing.

The NLFN reaches out to the LFNRF and talks were put underway after urdgeing form the green Unioun ending in the two factions combineing the LFNRF has been changed to LFN. As the two combine the milatary size of the nation grows.

OOC: Surprised Ilya's secret identity is actually female; Ilya is a male name. But that would fit LFN's style, seeing as how their ideology is one of assimilationism and complete gender equality.

Project Omega, at a mountainous missile complex in the Democratic Republic of Liberated Free Nations

From afar, the mountains looked peaceful, blanketed with pines softly dusted with snow, illuminated in a majestic sunset. Then the air exploded, with missiles flying in every direction from the largest mountain in the range and blackening the sky with an ominous web of trails.

That night, several hundred people were gathered at the huge black market at the border between the DRLFN and Sevevill, buying and selling. With hefty bribes paid to the Party chiefs at Trebau Commune, total population 13, it was easy enough to obtain travel exemptions for the purpose of "aiding in State requisitions", a thin euphemism for what was essentially individual market activity. Still, nobody got rich from illegal trading, since bribes to party chiefs were more often than not paid to still higher authorities for the massive missile defense system at Project Omega which was so crucial to the leadership's grip on power. The party chiefs at the privileged Trebau Commune were well aware that while the Central Party no longer ran anything in practice, having been usurped in that function by local chiefs such as themselves, it could still obtain funding for its recent huge missile program expansions by holding the population hostage with its missiles.

Then it happened. Missiles in the hundreds flew down on Trebau and its environs. Not many people were killed immediately owing to the lack of population centers in the DRLFN, since the cities were outlawed, but symptoms of widespread poisoning were noted within minutes. Many people fled further inward, though a small number thought to flee outward toward Sevevill.

In the interior, rumors flew around saying that settlements all around the border regions were under missile bombardment. All over the country, people saw missiles streaking overhead. The headline of the Liberated Free Press shortly after read: "PARTY CENTER DESTROYS BORDER SETTLEMENTS TO DETER ENEMY INVASION, SAVE SOCIALIST HEARTLAND".

I'm thinking to fork much of what's been mentioned here into a separate incident if the invasion of the DRLFN is pursued (and its hostage-taking of the population is ignored). Unlike most incidents, this will not be a combat-oriented incident, but focused on saving civilians from the effects of diseases, chemical gas clouds, and radioactive fallout from missile-mounted dirty bombs in an increasingly apocalyptic wasteland. There will be a choice to pursue the Party Center to its base, but it will lead to the launching of the entire arsenal at once and more rapid death of the population in exchange for the government's final fall.

A massive invasion force had been prepped and readied by SUPREME OVERLORD's word to topple the LFN government once and for all, what happened afterwards was a victim of circumstance.

News came of 40 divisions of the Revolutionary Army being wiped out in Diyaristan. With the DRLFN government falling apart in the face of the international offensive and its armies disintegrating, Friend No. 2 resorted to the apocalypse. Luckily for the other nations of Markion at least, the range of his weapons at the experimental center of Project Omega were limited largely to within LFN borders, and lacking nukes, the apocalyptic destruction plan would take some time to complete. The war, beginning with the Central Party's armies fighting just behind the now dangerously contaminated border regions, has turned into a war of exterminating the population sooner than allowing them to live under the foreigners and LFNRF traitors.

Huge, discolored clouds rose into the sky as people all over ran. A cell of Party fanatics is occupying the WMD shelter tunnels and refusing to admit anyone who wasn't in the military in. Having lost communication with the Party Center, they, like many other units, act autonomously and without direction or a plan to counterattack.

Reports of bioweapon infection have spread around the area quickly, and several people are seeking airlift out of the country as the contamination zone spreads and clouds roll ominously, slowly, toward all the communes surrounding industrial Volkow. While scattered Party fanatics caught outside the WMD shelter areas were resigned to their deaths and planning to assassinate aid workers and random soldiers, many were desperately hoping CMEP medics would arrive to evacuate them to safety.

Even as the fighting was still smoldering in Diyaristan, as the last echoes of rifle fire still rattled in the ruins of Beksa, the Allaneans were now realizing that the crisis had in fact grown in proportion from what has been the situation only days ago. Now, subcritical detonations - taken by the Allaneans at first to be nuclear weapons - had been detected, and biological weapons have been deployed, but, bizarrely, targeted at the population of the Liberated Free Nations.

Situation Room Diyaristan has been now enlarged and incorporated into Situation Room Markion, which was now charged with the evolving situations in both Diyaristan and the Liberated Free Nations. Experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance were already here, helping to discuss the various problems that would be faced with rebuilding Diyaristan.

But it would be the troubles of DRLFN that would be first and foremost on everybody’s mind.

“The good news first,” - spoke Colonel Evan Davidson, the representative from OAS. “Our surveillance suggests that DRLFN does not possess a great arsenal of intercontinental ballistic missiles, and their ability to reach the Free Kingdom with some manner of WMD strikes is minimal. “The bad news, however, is that they’re fucking insane.”

“What do you mean, Colonel?” - one of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs representatives asked, he was unsurprised by the Colonel’s use of harsh words - in Allanea, swearing of this kind was normal even among the highest echelons of society.

“They have targeted their own population for extermination with bioweapons strikes, subcritical radiological weapons, and other armaments. We believe hundreds of thousands may be already dead or dying.”

There was a pause as everyone took in the situations. It was not unknown for governments to commit mass suicide by targeting their own nation with weapons like these, and Allaneans had seen it before. But even to hardened veterans the notion of such a vast betrayal by a government of its most key loyalties was, once again, horrifying.

“We had already taken readiness measures to protect from biological weaponry. But now we propose the following,” - the Colonel spoke. “We suggest that the Navy squadrons in the region be routed towards the DRLFN, with the Mogami-class warships put out first. Their goal will be to engage and shoot down as many enemy missiles as possible. Simultaneously, the Navy should work to insert Special Forces into DRFLN at the nearest opportunity, and they should switch to carrying out their CP duties. Meanwhile, our diplomatic partners should engage DRLFN’s neighbors in some bits of diplomacy. We need to get a move on.”

Gradually, the vast war machine began to turn. The first sign of this was the warships beginning to literally turn, moving in the water, directing themselves towards the DRLFN - or rather, a point outside its national waters, about a hundred miles away from the shore. There, they hoped, the Allaneans would be safe from anti-ship missiles from the nation’s surviving coastal defenses. As they approached the shore, the ships would be ordered to maneuver constantly, reduing the likelihood they’d be targeted, and drones would once again take off to scout the shore. In the ships, Navy landing teams were prepating and drilling for their new missions. Meanwhile, a diplomatic message was sent out to all parties.

A land invasion of the DRLFN would condemn millions to death. The last time the Coalition attempted such a thing the results were disastrous and almost resulted in nuclear war. The DRLFN is well armed and willing to do whatever it takes to defend its ideology. Indeed, the citizens of the DRLFN were known during the previous civil war to carry out suicide attacks at the slightest prompting to protect their nation. You are correct that an invasion should be postponed. I would recommend not carrying it out altogether.

But the Omega complex is a single target that, with a decisive stroke, can be pacified without mass casualties. In fact, as you have already noted, disabling it is the only surefire way to ensure mass casualties within the next few days can be avoided at all. But utilizing missile strikes would be like trying to defuse a bomb with a sledgehammer. Technical readouts of the Omega complex gathered by the RLAF's Gold Squadron during the previous conflict shows it well armoured and expressly designed to resist aerial bombardment. Missile strikes may manage to disable the facility, but failure would prompt immediate retaliation.

Rather, The Green Union suggests a joint special forces infiltration into the Omega complex. CMEP already has a joint task force of elite assaulters specially tailored for something like this, and support from the qualified militaries of your nations should allow for a stealth insertion into the Omega complex to disable its offensive capabilities from the inside out.

It's the best chance we have.

I know I speak for the entire people of The Green Union when I congratulate you on your peaceful resolution of disputes with the rebel LFNRF. I am sure this bridging of differences will strengthen the NLFN and provide an edge over the DRLFN, whose attempt at violently putting down its LFNRF uprising both you and I can see has not gone well.

In the light of the suicidal violence in the DRLFN I once again urge your government to establish closer ties with CMEP to secure assistance from the alliance for your cause, and to bring your people closer to the greater Socialist community in Markion. In order to create worldwide Socialism we must blend all the different forms of Marxism, Socialism, and Communism; not try to make prevalent a single interpretation. At the end of the day of our collective labours the global worker's paradise will form itself. I do not fully agree with your judgement, but I am ready to accept it on broad terms. You are correct, very likely, that at the present, a ground invasion of the DRLFN would no doubt be extremely dangerous, and that we do not have detailed information, so far, on the state of the Omega Complex. However, several things should be noted that are highly important

1. Launching missiles from silos explicitly requires silo doors. In typical action these use explosive charges to open, and cannot be re-closed in combat (the hatch is blown off, literally), but we do not know if this is the technology that the DRLFN uses, possibly this is not the case. At any rate, we must carry out more detailed reconnaissance to locate said items, and, preferably, damage them or blow them up, in which case they can’t be used for launches.

Current intelligence suggests that the DRLFN possesses some technology that enables it to re-use the same silo multiple times (probably by reloading it underground). While we do not fully believe the DRLFN propaganda of ‘millions of ballistic missiles’, it’s clear that there are a lot more missiles than there are silos.

For this reason, taking even some of the silos out of action would be saving hundreds of thousands of lives.

2. The DRLFN is clearly already determined to kill off its population. Its press releases and announcements clearly speak of a desire to do so. As such we already know they’ll launch, and launch again and again. For this reason we must take any and all means to limit their capability for launch. As such I fully believe air strikes on the launch facilities, at least to disable as many launch silos as possible, are justified.

Moreover, the DRLFN has already used WMD on Christoslavian and Dyaristani troops and civilians, fully justifying any retaliation.

The sledgehammer analogy is not viable - in practice, most bombs are not defused as such. Typically, EOD experts destroy bombs, either detonating them with attached explosives or shooting them. Which is what we are proposing.

3. We believe it would be impractical to organize a single joint Special Forces operation. We recommend instead dividing the area into areas of responsibility for various units. We will then launch numerous SF operations, some aimed to damage the silos, some to attacks the storage facilities for the missiles, and others to infiltrate Omega Complex itself - all the while we move up ABM facilities as close as possible to the launch pads.

Indeed this is the one purpose for which an invasion might be justified - posing ABM launchers close to complex Omega to make it impossible for it to shoot. (Naturally such facilities would be easier to protect against guerilla action then a full invasion).

Specifically, five RLAF fighters circled the complex for some time on page 3 of the RP in question before the following conversation took place, followed by an LFN post which revealed the workings of the Omega missile silos:

In the depths of the darkened complex, banging could be heard on all the bulletproofed windows and doors of the office. Some of the knocks were much, much louder than others.

"What in the hell is GOING ON OUT THERE?!"
Comrade Bergen answered first. "They're people, but very contagious. An extension of our chemical brainwashing program. Dr. Stadler was working on a virus that caused murderous insanity. I'm not sure of the exact details, but cells infected by it would produce a lot of hallucinogens in the bloodstream. Test subjects I saw infected by it would report feeling ill after nearly a minute of exposure to ultraviolet light."

He paused a moment, then continued: "That's why we brought so many soldiers along, and the hazmat suits. There were once 30,000 soldiers guarding the outer ring of the installation, and countless men of science... again, the disease is very contagious."

Near Omega Control Center, high in the sky

Thankfully for Gold Squadron, nothing inside the frightful complex could detect their approach. But, almost as the place passed out of view, multiple missile launches could be seen in the distance.

The short-range missiles were the first to strike ground. Over a million people died as Novichok poison clouds started to spread from anarchist-held areas. Further afield, a few other, longer-range missiles carried propaganda leaflets:

If the imperialists and their lackeys do not immediately withdraw from the liberated zones and lay down their arms, we will launch a hundred thousand ballistic MIRV missiles against the oppressors.

So I'm no expert and LFN will have to confirm this, but it would seem to me that this one centralized complex houses all the missile launch facilities. We even have more or less of an accurate range of the weapons, since the missiles reached the Sevevillian Dominion of the Republic of Sevevill.

Also, my nation is purposely not having a completely practical approach to this situation. I will wait for another Coalition member or two to reply to your post before I respond again.

He looked at a giant screen with dots showing Coalition soldiers and LFNRF soldiers movements.
"Sir We have Christoslavia asking about moveing soldiers though our territory. What should we say?" Asked a officer.
"Grant it. Tell all sevevill front line soldiers about." He said as the man nodded and ran off.

A alarm sounded.
"Code Purple, Code Purple, All crew to battle stations!" Sounded over the carrier. Along with the other fleet ships. In the Sevevill Navy you dont not respond to the alarm unless your dead... Then you can have a few extra minutes. There were three DRLFN ships aproaching the carriers fleet. As two of the frigates headed to protect the carrier by going to the ship almost right next to it. If a torpido was fired the carrier would be fine. The other two Domminator class carriers would be able to leave alot faster considering the Domminator 2 was almost twice the size of them. AA guns fired into the air as planes came down on them. The annoying loop of Code Purple wasent stopping either. Running down the hallway from his room the Lt struggled to get ready. He was a SG-86 Bomber pilot. His BN came out of his room and ran next to him to the kit room to put all of his gear on. It only took them about 5 minutes before they were strapping into the SG-86 "Here Comes Uncle Seve" With a picture of Uncle Seve with a bomb in his hand trowing it down on a city. Uncle Seve was a old recruiting ad from before the empire but now it donned his plane. They had just barely gotten in the air when the ships had started fighting. He winged his plane left.
"Locked, Torpidoes Pickled," said Randall Cross his BN said over the intercom on the plane. Wow that was fast. Turning the plane he aimed the plane at the front ship. He dropped the torpedo. He pulled up in a climbing turn as the torpedo hit the ship. He flipped the comm to the Sevevill naval control channel immediately he heard,
"Fleet, Ships retreating. Return to battle formation. Bombers return." A controller said as the carriers turned into the wind. About thirty minutes later he had landed.

He watched... He listened. Soldiers body cams covered the battles. The LFN would once again be under a propper govenments contorol. They were more the type of govenment as Sevevill but the coalitons help along with the growing number of other nations helping them was bringing them closer to the end of the harsh communist rule.

"Code Black" He said as he walked up to the other soldier. "There all lights out."
"Great this is the agent. Codenamed Nikoli. He will continue his mission. You will be his wingman. If shit hits the fan the GU is all over the place along with scatted GRA. LFNRF and NLFN are on our side." He pulled out a duffle. "Here are civies. Keep your mission gear to be recognized by. Good luck soldier" He shock hands with the soldier who would now accompany him.
"Get up agent. This place will be fire soon" He took the offerd hand and took the gun from the officer and slid it into his waistband. Then followed him to a white truck sitting outside. There was a helicopter sitting right next to the house along with four or five dead DRLFN soldiers. "Nikoli you drive. If we get stopped they check you not me." Sandman said before turning on his side in the seat and sleeping. The black road ahead was where he pulled the truck. Soon after the sound of the helicopter leaveing and a big red flash showed the Atlas Soldiers leaveing there mark of affection towards the DRLFN. He was to meet with a GU agent and help with the OMEGA search. He knew little about it but Sevevill needed to work on relations with the Coaliton after countless war crimes in the war of Anavokia. He pulled into a small snowy town. He pulled up to the front of a bar and shook the sleeping soldier.
"I dont think people are going to be very friendly to a Sevevill soldier. I would change into your civies" He then oppend the door and walked out into the cold of the LFN. Lt. Jeremy Russell. 5th Fighter Wing 7th Foreign Composite Wing.
He was Squadron leader for A flight. He flew one of the new Markofighters. Greately out performed by the SG-77 and in his mind the SG-80 but he thought it was a great plane. He enjoyed flying it. Along with his wing there were three other Sevevill pilots one GRA pilot and one ROS pilot. They flew the only few Markofighter in the SVAF there were more but the only combat active ones. He was admireing his plane. A polished blue and Chrome plane. "Enjoy the ride" The Sevevill Planes mostly stood out form the other Coalition planes. Sevevill Pilots did what ever they wanted to there planes. Exept modify them. But there were alot of different variety. Fighters were diffrent though. Bomber crews would always just paint something on the nose and name it. Or make it a giant canvas. Fighter pilots did much the same but there planes were all diffrent colors with different names and designs. They had already started to force people to join the LFNRF Milatary so it would be easy to fight off this simple minded enemy of the DRLFN. But there allies in the NLFN would be harder. Most people here hated Sevevill soldiers outside of the LFNRF. It would be a hard war to win.

"Comon lets go!" He was yelling at some LFNRF soldiers who had started to lag behind him. The well trained Sevevill soldiers pushed though the snow with ease but these other men were little more then civilians in uniforms running around with guns. The BTRs and tanks were just in front of them with group of canvas tops filled with supplies and other soldiers. They were to be already dismounted if attacked so the defense would start right as they were attacked. If these bozos would hurry up. He wished they would just stay at home and let real soldiers fight but they were supposed to be learning about fighting and be in combat situations. Exactly when he thought that the bullets started flying. A DRLFN formation topped the hill. He dropped to his knee and pulled his binoculars up to his head and looked though it "FIVE TANKS! THREE BTRs. UNKNOWN AMMOUNT OF TROOPS PULL THE CANVAS TOPS BACK. CALL IN AIR SUPPORT" Soon after he said that into the radio the tanks fired. The BTRS started to fire at the troops as they charged down the hill. "Take up covering fire. Dont loose the supplies. Btr troops dismount." As he said that soldiers started to file out of the BTR and took up covering fire. They were being flanked by the DRLFN. The Sevevill soldiers white camo made them almost invisible in the snow but the LFNRF stuck out like a sore thumb. Multiple of them were standing up shooting others on there knees looking around and the ones doing the right thing were not even fireing there guns. A bullet crashed into the snow next to him and that dragged him out of his trance as he pulled his gun up and shot down two enemys before jumping up on his feet and running back to the LFNRF soldiers he watched one of the standing up soldiers get gunnedd down and ran over to another pushing him down on the ground he then did this three times and kicked one of the not fireing ones. He then ran back to the Sevevill Soldiers Who were doing there part in the fighting. Although they had started to dry out on ammunition. The tanks had made short work of the BTRs and had started to finish of the remaining tanks. The soldiers had started to drop back.
"Air support inbound three klicks from target. Get down and stay down!" Came over the radio as a red A-10 and a light blue A-10 flew over bombs left the wings and crashed down on top of the tanks. The gunshots stopped as the smoke rose from the remains of the DRLFN tanks and BTRs. The first battle Sevevill had taken part in was over almost all of the soldiers had survived. Only twelve LFNRF soldiers died. Five or six Sevevill soldiers had been injured other then that the convoy was unsaved

Kevin knew he shouldn't be drinking, but he really didn't care all that much. He was sitting at a corner table, glass of vodka in his hand. Kevin had half expected people to refer to the stuff as Victory Gin or something and for it to taste fairly horrible, but to his surprise the stuff wasn't half bad. And Kevin was a Loyalist scout: he was well acquainted with the interiors of bars and didn't give out endorsements as highly as 'not half bad' lightly.

CMEP lost its credibility as a protective force the moment it started allowing Bourgoise empires like Vilhala into its ranks. It is no longer the triumvirate against imperialism that it was created to be, but the fact remains that a nation inside of the Coalition can avoid the disadvantages of being outside of it.

Do not fear for me yet; there is more hope for the Proletariat in The Green Union than you know, and with my party behind me I am confident I can remain true to the class struggle. We may even be within a few short years of abolishing the Bourgeois property, but I digress. With your permission The Green Union can commit the an aid fleet to the NLFN. The fleet will be able to assist in short term humanitarian matters as well as the creating of jobs for the people in the NLFN in the long term.

The Green Union would also like to request the ability to facilitate the sale of arms and equipment, including the Markofighter aircraft, to your military. The military aid can be channeled into the NLFN through the same routes as the humanitarian, and I have been informed that Party member pilots can immediately begin taking programs in The Green Union to learn the use of the Markofighter.
