This is based on the events that lead up to the RL World War 1, but it is set in 2016 there will be Mutual Defense Alliances, Imperialism, Militarism, Nationalism, and the Immediate Cause Assassination of a nation's beloved leader. The purpose of this RP is to set up for second NS World War which will also be based on the RL World War Two events and the effect of both the RP's together will then have PERMANENT effects on all nation's involved. At the Government Hall in Lonoc Principal Chief Jack McCarthy was going over reports when he read the news that President George W. Bush of the Democratic States of Posea had dissolved their congress an action which he didn't like, but as long as he didn't come towards the Colony it was of no concern to him or the people of the Colony. As a way to make sure that they didn't move toward the Colony he asked the CIG to keep an eye on the Democratic States of Posea in secret of course which made a lot of Colony Government officials feel at ease.

He walked down the halls and Army officers were every where. They would be meeting with the Minister of Defense that was an old Aircorp General. They would be unveiling the DE-10 MBT for Arcadian military use. The situation in the far east was worsening. Enhanced nationalism and military build up. The EASCOM Commanding Officer Admiral Lyonns dispatched a battle group to the Kurdistani Republic, and McHale sent the 503rd Infantry Brigade with the battle group.

Their mission was to ensure the Kurdistani Republic was safe from any naval assaults, and to protect Arcadian citizens and assets in the nation. The hyper nationalism and military build up worried Arcadian command so they dispatched a small battle group consisting of 3 subs, 1 super carrier, 7 destroyers like the Liberation, and 3 missile cruisers. They had a total of 3 ground brigades for ground combat in need be, but if a war was to break out Arcadia was to be prepared.

Attorney General Christopher Scott was touring the fort and getting to know the soldiers that were there as well as getting a look at the new coastal cannons that were set up to defend the Tethys Sea from ships coming into through the Waldermore Canal. The Cannons were 90mm and they were place in positions on both side of the with the other ones under the control of the nation of Waldermore and it's armed forces. Attorney General Christopher Scott asked for a test fire not know of the fleet coming from the The Grande Republic of Arcadia coming the soldiers complied and the shot missed the main ship by a mile and skimming the ship behind it.

The Arcadian battle group finally arrived and he had issued a draft in the Republic. He had just ordered some Arcadian weaponry such as the DE-9 and misc fighters. Emir raised the DEFCON up. He didnt trust most nations in the region. He looked into the bay amd saw the Arcadian battle group and he had sent a message to the battle groups commanding officer for a meeting at the Presidential Palace. He saw Kurdistani Airforce fly overhead with F-17s.

He had just received word that a GRA destroyer that was trailing the battle group for rear guard was fired apon but missed. He also was informed no other shots had been fired and now he wanted to speak with them. He sent the destroyer to relay a message to the people of that nation. Moss soon got in his dress whites and had a helicopter prepped for flight. The flight would be about 10 minutes.

Will the Tribes Republic's near-miss pay off for them?
As some say that a world war could be underway in a matter of weeks, the Tribesmen's narrow miss on an Arcadian destroyer could lead to the formation of a formal alliance

ON THE morning of Saturday the 26th of March, the second day of a show of force of an Arcadian battle group intended to protect the Kurdistani republic, few were expecting a destroyer trailing the group in the Bay of Tusmir to be on the verge of destruction - the Arcadians didn't expect it, the Kurdistani republicians didn't expect it, and the Tribesmen certainly didn't expect it. The man at fault for the mix-up is not yet known, but can only be presumed to be a junior officer in the military,
Contextual information: Although the Kurdistan republic and the Tribes Republic are both domiciled along the Tethys Sea, Arcadia come from the far west of the globe, a sizable distance away from the Tethys Sea. Tribesmen Attorney-General Christopher Scott was known to have requested a test fire on Saturday at 1130 UTC without knowing of the incoming Arcadian forces. The 90mm cannons missed the main ship (the ANS Liberation) by a major distance, but came close to destroying the destroyer behind the Liberation.
Within an hour at the most, Arcadian Rear-Admiral Kyle Moss told Attorney-General Scott that he could contact the Arcadian ambassador in the Tribes Republic (and that the two nations had good trade relations). Nothing has resulted over the weekend, although some say that a formal alliance will be made. There are only two certainties that the media have pounced upon: the prohibition on driving cars through Tribesmen villages, and the fact that a meeting will indeed be held.
Whilst the much-dreaded war has not begun as of yet, some could argue that the Tethys Sea will be an important battleground. However, as countless other sparks could be lighted throughout the Spring, the world needs to stay on alarm for any prospects of proper war that may occur, as opposed to near-misses and skirmishes. It is widely feared that this attack is only the start of what could be a disaster for public relations for the Tethysian nations.

A dark cloud hovers over the Tethys Sea after threats of Spookistamian blockade
After threats of a Spookistamian blockage near the Tethys Sea are leaked online and agreements are reached with Posea, danger looms in the north

AS MARCH threatened to boil over and become April, leaked recordings of the director of the Spookistamian Intelligence Agency imploring King Borkington to enforce a blockage in the strait connecting the Tethys Sea and the Sea of Nijene appeared on the internet. A transcription of this recording acquired by The Global Outlook shows that this blockade intends to suppress nationalist progress in the Kurdistani republic; King Borkington immediately expressed fears of a puppet leader being installed in Spookistam.
In spite of these leaks, a message has just been publicised by Spookistam, issuing an ultimatum to the republic: If you want good relations with us, and if you want your culture and heritage preserved, turn away the Arcadian fleet. King Borkington also called it unlikely that the Western Pacific Territories would retaliate. As I write, at least eight ships are being deployed by the Spookistamians into the strait. The Kurdistani republic now has an important decision to make: Do we support national culture, or do we support our allies?
Spookistam got even luckier within just minutes, as President George W. Bush of Posea defeated the Tribesmen and Arcadians to the punch, agreeing an alliance between his nation and King Borkington's (and building a Posean base in Spookistam as a result). However, it is worth noting the also-leaked invitation document from Spookistam, which appeared to manifest as more of a crusade against liberalism and democracy than an invitation to join an alliance.
On Monday, my colleague Lisa Smith wrote that "[w]hilst the much-dreaded war has not begun as of yet, some could argue that the Tethys Sea will be an important battleground." This prediction is quickly becoming truer and truer by the day, and the latest actions by Spookistam mean that the world is closer to "the danger zone" than ever before. If the war has not started in practice, it is just about to kick off in theory.

ANN: Genocide!

After the letter sent by Spookistam officials, they have revealed they have, and will purge anyone opposing their government ideologically. They have also enacted a purge of all Arcadian immigrants in the island which is around 2,000 people. The Arcadian government has seen this as a act of war against the Constitutional Monarchy of the Grande Republic of Arcadia. they would be dispatching a standard combat fleet to the Tethys Sea. Arcadians worldwide are in outrage and Arcadian forces should arrive within the coming weeks. The small Arcadian battle group in the Tethys Sea is put on full alert and is moving closer into Kurdistani waters. Arcadian officials have urged the Tribes Republic to sign a formal alliance with the GRA.

he got the alert and he spoke "Sir, something unexpected ha come up can you pull over here I have a helicopter enroute to my location that will be here in 5 minutes. Please consider our alliance it will help us both. As the car stopped his helicopter landed and he got in. When he arrived at his ship in Kurdistani waters he knew they had that small destroyer in Republic waters. When he arrived he had seen a message from Arcadian HIGHCOM to send Special Operations teams to evacuate Arcadian civilians. He knew the Arcadian embassy in the nation was going to close. They needed to get out as many as possible. he just hoped those bastards would respect international law.

He boarded the plane, and he got on with his unit. He spoke to his wife a few hours ago and she was freaking out. He knew this wasnt a drill because every one was going crazy. there were rumors of war, this would be the first war he would fight in. It was the dead of night. After they took off the C-17 soon landed and they got up. Soldiers were on the deck of the ships ,and command was everywhere. He and his unit started to go below deck and soldiers and marines were below deck.

It has been two hours and soon the captain of the ship spoke on the ship wide communications "We are heading to the Kurdistani republic. There is a strong possibility that we will be going to war. We are at odds with Spookistam which has threatened to kill Arcadian citizens in their boarders."
