Delphine, Aethel System, Kingdom of Aethel (Vassal of Blancpayne)

HMS Bodewig, Delphine Starbase

Image

Admiral Julianna Kahlenberg of the Noirerouge Fleet reviews her fleet prior to their departure to the Gubra yellow star system. She made sure that everything is at a perfect condition, nothing is let to pass.

At first glance, you might think she is a teenager yet to hit 20, but Julianna is a wise, strict, and battle-hardened veteran. As a half-elf, she looks like a young adult, but in fact, she is a 72-year old mother of three.

She first checks the ships, she makes sure that every Plasma and Ion thrusters are an perfect working condition, their fuel fully loaded, and the armor and engines are performing smoothly. She checked and checked again, until she sees that everything is ready to go.

Next, she checked her men, she can clearly see that the morale is at an all-time high, eager to prove their worth. Unlike Blancpaynean knights and levees, Noirerouge's soldiers are highly-disciplined professionals, and were considered equal to knights.

Most of the fleet's personnel are 3rd-generation Noirerouge exiles, the Noirerouge Empire fell to the Orc hordes more than a century ago, and their ancestors sought refuge to Blancpayne, now many of them were integrated either as free men or parvenu nobility (there is no serfdom in Noirerouge). While Noirerouges sees Blancpayne as undemocratic and backwards, they do appreciate Blancpaynean hospitality and diversity, and have since see it as their new home.

With her inspection complete, she gives the mission a green light, as hundreds of warships, both big and small, launched, escorting the handful of colony ships to the Gubra system, ready to engage possible resistance.

Gubra

Gubra wasn't what it was expected to be, the first thing that was noticed were its outermost and innermost orbiters. There was a large outer ring of asteroids that were a considerable distance apart and far out from Gubra. They merely served as something that would force FTL travel to need to come to a close, unless one wanted to risk crashing into them or accidently leaving hyperspace in a clumsy location. The more shocking, but less pressing thing noticed first, was the innermost orbiter, the red star that moved around the yellow one. It was a fair bit smaller and dimmer, but was very close to Gubra. Next, there were the three medium sized ice planets and three inner rocky ones. The system seemed rich with frozen water or fuel sources in the outer areas, with rich mining or station possibilities inward. Then the readings indicated something troubling, there was a world with an atmosphere past the three rocky words, and there was clearly a space-station orbiting it. As the fleet from outside the system moved in, they noticed that the second most inner world, the rocky one which turned out to have rings, also had radio signals coming out from it. There were spaceships of roughly 250 meters and 1.2 kilometers, moving around each of these two inner worlds. They appeared to have matching sizes, but different designs, which were still closely related.

The two fleets or what was what was likely was most of them, were fighting another power which seemed fewer in number than either of the two native fleets. There was parts and pieces flying about in space, shattered ships drifting in the dark as the battles raged on. The process of getting to these worlds would take some time. It was possible to make short movements via FTL, but each movement would have to stop as the planets made calculations difficult and this was uncharted space for them. What would be close to 12 hours at light travel, was simply too much time to move in, and so the daunting task lay ahead. The HMS Bodewig looked down with it's sensors as it got closer and noticed that the innermost planet appeared to have a thicker atmosphere, but it could be noticed by visual sensors, that it was almost devoid of at least surface water. The two inner areas seemed to have large, sprawling complexes, which appeared to be inside semi-spheres.

Was the system still worth it? The two innermost planets might have plenty of room, they seemed a bit larger than expected. The third innermost planet was covered in what looked like electromagnetic storms, but the fourth innermost planet was completely untouched.

What kind of approach would be made?

Admiral Kahlenberg smirked as she finds the system richer than it is supposed to be. But she also knows that there are other factions in the area.

Nevertheless, the rewards are worth the risk, and the Gubrans will have two options; bend their knees and swear fealty to Blancpayne, or be conquered by force by the Noirerouge Fleet.

"I want to know the factions that are in this system. Send diplomats to the space station.", the Admiral ordered.

A shuttle flies to the direction of the Space Station, with a squad of Dragoons escorting it.

"Fleet, prepare battle formation! Be ready to retaliate in case they show hostility.", She continued.

The fleet forms their battle formation, facing the planet, the Dragoons are launched, and all arms are on standby.

"And now we wait, hold fire until I give the green flag.", The Admiral ordered.

Journey, even with careful jumps in and out of FTL, takes at least two to four hours. This is enough time for them to prepare their shuttle and the squad to fit into it, while they move in. Each time they leave FTL, they have enough time to look over the battles, while their engines cool down and warm up again. The battles seem to still be waging, but each time they look around, there is more and more rubble drifting in the void. A large, possibly 4km vessel that was noticed after the second leap, and seen firing a massive forward facing plasma gun after the third leap, is in three or four pieces after the fourth leap. It was clearly not from the system and seemed to be a formidable vessel, but for whatever reason, it didn't make it. The rocky world closer to them appeared to have something set up on one of it's two moons, past the rings, but that base was found later to be in bad shape after the final leap. Signals they can't read or understand seem to reach them over and over, but the Blancpayne fleet can't understand them.

Now that they are between the orbits of the third and second planet, with most of the fleet tagging behind, they can finally understand some of the signals coming in. After several seconds, it is discovered the signal came from the first planet, the one with the space station and what seems like a breathable atmosphere. A few minutes later in the translation process, it turns out that the signal was not directed to them, but the angle of the beam outward was wide. The second planet is a far from them, to their right as the innermost planet is to their left.

You will turn over the alien crash site, and everything that was onboard it. You will turn over the shattered remains around you. Do this or be terminated.

Around six or seven minutes later, another message is send directly at them, this one seeming to be for them this time. The translation is crude, but it seems to happen faster this time, as the language is pieced together.

Greet-Ings. Hell-O. The Sectiods have been dealt with on our world. It is the other world that hasn't dealt with the invasion yet. Perhaps you would be willing to join us in our cleansing operation?

As the Blancpayne fleet gets closer, and can launch the shuttle, it remains to be seen what will happen next. Should they reply to the messages and if so, in what way?

Admiral Kahlenberg receives the message clearly, however, she is still unclear if they are a multi-system empire, or just a single planet minor. She needs to know the geopolitical situation of the system.

The Admiral responded to the space station.
Good day, I am Admiral Julianna Kahlenberg from the Grand Kingdom of Blancpayne. We came here to peacefully explore your system. I would like to know your nation, and your relation to the fleets that battled on the next planet.

"Ready the shuttle. All hands, hold fire until ordered otherwise.", She ordered the fleet.

Everyone is on their full alertness, ready to pull the trigger upon their admiral's orders. But currently, it appears that the space station is not looking for a fight, but only time will tell.

There is a garbled message which comes from the second world, the less populated and hospitable one. It's going to take time to understand, because it appears to be in pieces, but indications show it's in the same language as the other messages they have picked up. The message that is sent as a reply from the direction of the first planet and it's station, is decoded much faster, despite coming a good seven or so minutes later.

This is Tee Oh Four. A rather large exploration operation you are, but one must move in numbers after The Collapse. Tee Oh Four Two are are a rebellious planet, separatists and traitors all. Be wary of them.

The movement of two ships around 1.2 kilometers and six around 250 meters is detected from "TO4". The ships seem to be moving towards "TO42" and would likely in a several minutes, pass the Blancpayne fleet.

The Noirerouge Fleet now has to take sides.

If the first planet is indeed a rebel planet, it is much easier to make them bend the knee, but they must check the size of the "loyalist" faction.

Admiral Kahlenberg sends identical messages to both planets.

Good day, I would like to know your factions and the situation that you currently have.

The second world sends a reply, but the first one doesn't send any further messages for now. The response time is fairly fast, but this second message also comes in scrambled. It was directly meant for them, they can tell that much, but that is all they can know about the second message they have backlogged. A few more minutes there is FTL activity detected at the frontier of the system, specifically from the other side of the star. A sizable presence is detected, likely a whole combat fleet with all the trimmings, but just as likely a little less or more than that. The tension is almost as thick as steak for 12 more minutes, after which the first message from "TO42" was decoded. It was fairly tricky due to it just grazing one of the Noirerouge fleet ships, but it was understood soon enough.

We have the situation handled. Call your pig-dog mercenaries and your zealots off, or we they will be eliminated. The Commonwealth will win this conflict too, we will see to it.

The situation escalated beyond their expectations, it seems that the Commonwealth thought they are mercenaries. Admiral Kahlenberg tries to diffuse the situation by sending a message to the Commonwealth forces.
You must be mistaken, we are not mercenaries, we are just a peaceful expedition. Aside from that, I would like to know more about the Commonwealth.

"Defensive formation.", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered her fleet.

The ships form a defensive formation, ready to fight the Commonwealth if they dare to attack the fleet.

The two sides fired a large volley of missiles on both ends, none of which would come more close than two light minutes to the visiting fleet. The missiles could have been used during the battles before, but they were not, which meant something to someone. The incoming alien fleet hadn't turned around before it disappeared, and there were strong FTL readings in that area as well. Neither of the native powers seemed to be reacting to the incoming invasion, which either meant they didn't take it seriously or weren't aware of it. Perhaps even, they had more urgent things to deal with, such as each other. The second message was decoded around fifteen minutes later, this one still scrambled but somewhat clear.

This is the Common*********** of ***2. We know you are here ******** colonize. There is room for **********, **********. Regime is the ********, do not ******* to them. They are led by a unboxed artifical ********, very unstable and **********.

As the missiles crashed into each other around eight later, they gave off a well of radiation and energy, but still remained very far away from the visiting fleet.

The message is still cryptic and unclear, Admiral Kahlenberg sends another message to the Commonwealth.
Can you repeat the message? We cannot understand what you sent.

Meanwhile, the fleet watch as the opposing fleets continue to shoot each other.

"Men, return to attack formation, sooner or later, we will be helping either one of them.", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered.

The ships soon changed formation, showing the professionalism of the Noirerouge.

"Scouts, I want you to take a look at their technology level, what weapons their fleets possess.", She ordered some scouts.

One of the scout ships picked up a message and since it was the third one, it was fairly easy to decode. The whole process took about five minutes, and didn't seem to have as much static but it was still present.

Avoid The Regime, they have ************. Red Lotus Mercenaries are ******* monsters, who commit many ********. If you can make the right decision, there is plenty of space for you. The ****** will not make you a ****** offer than ours.

The TO4 fleet sends a message to another group of scouts, which is easily passed along and translated, since so many have already been looked over. The process is almost easy at this point, with the TO4 fleet close to passing them, itself halfway between TO4 and TO42.

Cease communication with the separatists, and turn your fleet around. We need to deal with them, before the Sectoid fleet arrives.

Sectoid Fleet, it appears that the Regime is a multi-system power like Blancpayne. This had them thinking, should they support the Regime, or the Commonwealth.

"Let the fleet pass through. It is not our responsibility to meddle with their affairs. Let them destroy each other.", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered.

The fleet moved to let the Regime fleet pass by, they also sets their distance from the combat zone.

"Turn encrypted transmission on, make sure that only tge Commonwealth receives this message.", Admiral Kahlenberg said to the comms operation.

The admiral sends the encrypted message to the Commonwealth.
How about we offer a better deal? We assist you in defeating the the Regime, as well as offer our protection for a few concessions and an alliance. How does that sound?

The message didn't seem to get the Regime fleet to react in any way, so perhaps they didn't know about it. Having been given plenty of space to space, they did so, moving closer and closer to TO42. A message was sent back, scrambled, but cleared up a fair bit without much time needed.

[box]We can drag down any oppressor and send them crawling home, but it comes at a price. There isn't much reason to trust you, but ******* **** *****. ***** *****, it would be better to have one less enemy and not be locked in combat when the Sectoids arrive. The Regime fleet was beginning to slow down, which either meant they saw the message, or they were getting in range. They were in weapons range, but with weapons couldn't only travel so fast, the possible targets were at least several minutes out by weapons fire. It was time to make a decision.

Admiral Kahlenberg smiles as she gets a deal.

"Alright boys, it's crunch time! Ships, fire at the regime ships. Dragoons, attack at multiple directions.", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered.

The IFF updates, as Regime ships changed indication from green to red, while Commonwealth ships changed from green to blue.

The Fleet's ships, aimed their beam cannons and missiles, while Dragoons position to the flanks, the Dragoons are capable of FTL by their own. HMS Bodewig prepares her Particle Cannon.

The Admiral sends another encrypted message to the Commonwealth.

You got yourself a deal.

"Particle Cannon, Fire!", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered immediately after sending the message.

The HMS Bodewig fired her Particle Cannon to the Regime Fleet. (OOC: You determine the degree of damagw on the enemy fleet)

"Fleet, Fire at will!", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered the fleet.

The fleet's guns and missiles fired on Regime fleet.

The energy requirements for a beam cannon were considerable, but so were the effects. After the visitor fleet got closer and then slowed down their engines, the particle charged up for several seconds. The Regime fleet had already had its rear section slow down by activating its front engines, it's main engine having been off for several minutes, since space had almost no drag to speak of. As the Blancpayne fleet began to open fire and release its first battery of missiles, the range was about thirty to fifty light seconds. The Regime fleet had taken awhile to slow down and it took even more time to turn around, otherwise they would have reacted to the incoming fleet from behind sooner. The particle beams slammed into several of the 1.2-kilometer ships, their shields began to wear down from all of the energy and heat. As seconds passed, a few of the regime shorter vessels that were hit by accident, the 250-meter ships, had their shields break down. Holes were blown through them, which kept going past into whatever was behind said holes. A ship or two exploded instantly, while others struggled to control containment. As the beams dragged down a few more of the smaller ships, they too imploded. Since there was no air in space, the ships would be there and then they would be shrapnel and wreckage. There would be light from their engines and then there would be darkness.

The two native sides exchanged even more missiles, while the Regime fired forward-facing coilguns to reply to the Commonwealth ion cannons. Some of the Regime's larger ships managed to fire heavy needles going half the speed of light towards the Blancpayne fleet, each of them of considerable size and weight. Smaller laser and beam cannon fire was exchanged, knocking off whatever sections of a ship were not shielded or armored.

The Regime fleet was taking losses, but they seemed to be greater in numbers, and some of them fired in twos upon Blancpayne ships that could only target one ship with full force at a time.

"Dragoons, attack, attack, attack!", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered.

The dragoon mechas activated their FTL, and attacked the Regime fleet from all directions, their plasma lances are either shooting or charging at their weakpoints. The plasma lances were especially designed to penetrate shields without issues

Meanwhile, the ships continued to fire their missiles and beam cannons.

"Fleet movements detected, estimate of roughly one system away. Ships taking multiple hits." The cold AI voice said, breaking the silence in the radar room as everyone waited anxiously for the small scouting craft to send in a report after fleet movements were seen a system away. The small craft was merely the size of an escape pod, it's cameras monitoring all movements the fleet was making. The small craft then sent out transmissions to the fleets, requesting humbly for identification. The main flag ship, the Vanguard, was a mere system away. Following it are a few more star destroyers on an expedition to explore the unknown regions. Another cruiser was launched from the Vanguard, a horizon class cruiser, which were now all transports, was sent to initiate contact and retrieve the pod.

The coilguns fired over and over, having a considerable store of ammo and energy to use. The rounds zoomed out, round after round, several seconds apart. It was too late for many ships however, as the particle cannons had torn their sides or even right down or next to their coilgun in some cases. The attacking mech-suits drilled through the ships on the sides, attacking their engines, sensors, and external guns. The mounted turrets weren't calibrated to keep up to anything going that fast, and so some drones were released. Spheres with engines on all ends, to allow them to turn, go, and stop as needed, they were rather small. Each of them was about the size of a house and they had a single gun mounted in a slightly adjustable position. They turned to face the knights, opening fire with gamma-rays, coming from their nuclear engines. Some of the smaller vessels moved in and opened fire with similar guns.

Despite this, the ion cannons on the surface of the planet were rather big and they managed to knock out a few ships at the front of the fleet. The Regime was losing ships, and though they had done damage to TO42, not all of their attacks had failed to be stopped by point-defense systems. As what remained of the Commonwealth's ships for the system opened fire from the sides, it seemed the battle wouldn't be won easily.

Part of the Dragoons dealt with the drones, while the rest continued their hit and run attacks, just like WWII dive-bombers. Some of the Dragoons threw Storm grenades (Giant flashbang with EMP) on the capital ships, it may or may not affect their ships' electronics, but they hope that it would interfere with the shields and the drones, as well as blinding the officers in their bridges.

"Particle Cannon, focus on their flagship.", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered.

The Particle Cannon fires at the flagship, while some beam cannons and missiles concentrated on the flagship and surrounding ships.

Some heavily-damazed Dragoons does a Kamikaze dive on the enemy flagship, hoping to overload its shields and allowing the Particle Cannon to hit the flagship with full force.

Meanwhile, the rest of the fleet continues to deal with the rest of the Regime fleet.

"Interesting indeed, i believe that a message should be sent to them." The empress said aboard the Vanguard as real time feed had been relayed back to the Vanguard, the cruiser still being caught in the cross fire of the battle as it retrieved a pod with the tractor beams on it. "Move the fleet into the system, i want to see the battle for myself." She said as the fleet prepared to jump, before it finally jumped through hyperspace, ending up in a neutral zone. A message was sent to both fleets.

This is the Higher japanian expeditionary fleet, we would like information on what is happening in the battle

There most impressive ship of the Regime fleet was surrounded on all sides by friendly ships, but when the fleet spread out in such a way that ships from all points could fire upon the enemy without striking each other, the inner ships were exposed. With the fire concentrated away from ships at random, the mass majority of ships keep firing upon the closest target that was a threat. It was too much for the inner, more impressive looking ships, as they were destroyed or disabled. Morale was in several areas beginning to dip, as ships began to move away from the battle slowly, traveling sideways. Other ships moved behind friendly ships or even jumped into the Blancpayne fleet, so that enemy ships were all around them. These ships would raise their shields or what was left of them, but didn't seem to be firing. Their position was such that aiming at them would risk striking other Blancpayne ships. A few of them were gunned down by Regime fire, but most of them ignored by the Regime fleet which pressed up and kept up a strong fight.

"Ram the stranglers. Show them Blancpaynean resolve!", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered.

Blancpayne's aggressive doctrine led to their ships designed to take a heavy beating, as well as the ability to ram their opponents, and based on the direction the battle is going, it appears that Blancpaynean ships have superior survivability than the Regime's.

The ships followed without hesitation, as Blancpaynean ships charge Regime stragglers at full tilt. Regime ships the survived the impact were quickly fired upon by their rammers at point-blank range.

Meanwhile, the Regime's loose formation also meant that they cannot assist each other from Dragoons' attacks, something the latter exploit to their advantage as the Regime ships are now sitting ducks, or at least more vulnerable to attack.

Admiral Kahlenberg sends an ultimatum to the Regime fleet.

Regime ships, surrender now or receive no mercy.

Suddenly, they received a message from the Higher Japan. Admiral Kahlenberg also sent her reply.

This is Admiral Julianna Kahlenberg of the Noirerouge Expeditionary Fleet of the Blancpaynean Navy, we are currently involved in an incident between the "Commonwealth" and the "Regime". The latter fired at us, mistaking us for mercenaries, we have no choice but to retaliate and side with the "Commonwealth".

The reply is a half-truth, half-lie, as to win the sympathy of the spectator.

While the battle is ongoing, her aide reminded her that the Regime has a Sectoid Fleet incoming.

"Looks like we can bring in the other fleets to party with us. Send in corvettes to communicate with the other fleets.", Admiral Kahlenberg replied with optimism.

She sent this message.

Hostile Sectoid Fleet inbound, need reinforcements, ASAP.

The Corvette arrived at the Kingdom of Aethel, 90 minutes later, relaying her message to the Delphine Oranet.

The Oranet is a near-forgotten FTL communicator, built by the extinct Tarei Empire, once the undisputed ruler of their half of the sector. How it works is still greatly a mystery, and the Blancpayneans are yet to replicate the technology for themselves. There are only three Oranets in Blancpayne, one per each system. While it took whole continents to power them, it is worth it as they enable Blancpayne to relay real-time messages all across the empire. And the message was received instantly by the other two fleets.

Both Admiral Rollo Onassis of the Dwarven Fleet and Galko Vastille of the Blancpayne Grand Fleet arrived to the Gubra Sector, two hours after they received the message.

"Why do I keep falling for this?", Admiral Vastille snides as she can only see a small, almost defeated enemy engaging the Noirerouge Fleet.

"I don't think she is lying, she said incoming, not engaging.", Admiral Onassis replied.

"You do have a point. With that said, should we assist them?", Admiral Vastille asked.

"No, we must conserve our strength, we will be outnumbered sooner or later. We must refresh our men first.", Admiral Onassis replied.

The two fleets form and stock for the big battle ahead. To speed up communication relays, a few corvettes and frigates of the Aethelian Fleet were assigned as mobile relay stations between the two systems.

Meanwhile, at the Capitol, Grand Queen Dominique I is informed by the current situation, Blancpayne is unofficially at war with a sectorial empire over a resource rich system. Based from the report of Admiral Kahlenberg, the Grand Queen believes that the Regime were the aggressors.

"Mobilize the reserves, we are on the verge of a total war.", The Grand Queen declared.

The order spreads throughout the realm as levies are being raised, and knights being called to action.

Now, the whole of Blancpayne watch as events unfold.

Bonjour, I am Grand Queen Dominique of the Kingdom of Blancpayne, a land of Medieval Society and SciFi Technology, where Knights fights in giant Mechas. They say that Blancpayne is a backwards and archaic nation where feudalism is rooted, I say they're just envious of our beauty and stability.

I look forward being your new neighbor. Cheers to a bright future!

Regime Fleet, Gubra

A corvette was sent out from TO4, but was promptly shot down before it could do whatever it was trying to do, which was broadcast some kind of powerful signal. A wide number of ships jumped into the Blancpaynean fleet, trying to surrender. Others surrendered to the Commonwealth, positioning their ships on the other side of TO42 as if to hide from the Blancpaynean fleet. Some of the ships fought on, but with around a fifth of the fleet having already surrendered, the possibility of victory against a fleet that inflicted high casualties and seemed to disregard their own losses wasn't as bright. Around a third of the fleet needed considerable shipyard repairs, or were blown to pieces. A fair number of people had died, sections of the ships were being tended to as fast as possible, as their medical bays struggled to treat the wounded. Firefights broke out on board a few ships between various crewmembers, between those who wanted to surrender and those who didn't, along with those who wanted to flee. One of the ships began to warm up its engines, only to be fired upon by the other ships around it. The ship took considerable damage, leaving it's 1.2 kilometers in bad shape, which was enough to make it slow to a slide due to the lack of drag in space.

Sectoid Fleet, Gubra

The incoming fleet was closer to the star, but was on the other side of it. It was about to get into position and jump again to enter the combat zone, however it seemed to have gone around the solar system. Moving close to TO4, it parked itself there and began to lower invasion ships onto the world. Ion Cannon fire disabled a few of the larger 1.8-kilometer Sectoid ships, but bombardment stopped the upward bound ion fire. A corvette was launched up and it emitted a powerful signal. Parts of the Sectoid fleet began to fire upon each other, some of the ships parking next to each other to each other before the firing happening.

Regime Fleet, Gubra

The Regime ships begged and pleaded to have the mass of ships that were now mixed together, to head for TO4. The Blancpayne was told there was no point in surrender, if there was nothing left to be surrendered over.

Commonwealth Fleet, Gubra

The remaining ships of the Commonwealth and the ships that surrendered to them, got into position. They began speeding around the Blancpayne fleet, trying to get to TO4 as fast as possible. One of the smaller ships activated it's FTL drive and promptly rammed into a Sectoid ship, causing the two to implode. A message was sent from the surface to the Blancpayne fleet, this time coming in clear and easily to translate. It appeared to have been passed by various Commonwealth ships, which explained why it was so clear. This time it was a face and a voice, a man who wore a brown wool hat, above a jacket with several buckles and buttons. His face was wide and thick, his voice heavy. There was the sound of weapons fire behind him, but it was mostly faint pops and cracks that didn't cause him to react besides a wince every now and then.

"Our agreement is based on the condition that afterward the Sectoid fleet would be dealt with. We can deal with the crashed ship here on TO42, but TO4 isn't going to survive much longer if that Sectoid fleet isn't attacked and dealt with.

The Noirerouge Fleet spared to the ships that surrender, while brutally cutting down those who resisted.

But as Admiral Kahlenberg received the message from the Commonwealth, she has to abide to the Chivalric Code.

"Spare the Regime fleet.", Admiral Kahlenberg ordered.

She then sent her reply to the Commonwealth.

Duly noted. We have additional fleets with us, we shall go ahead and deal with the Sectoid Fleet.

She then proceeds to the other fleets.

"Admiral Onassis, Admiral Vastille, we have an enemy fleet at (coordinates of the Sectoid Fleet). Initiate pincer movement.

"Affirmative, Admiral Kahlenberg.", Both Admirals replied.

Both the Dwarven and the Blancpayne Grand Fleet used FTL to their attack position, forming quickly to deal with the Sectoid Fleet.

The Noirerouge Fleet, along with the interned Regime ships, also regrouped, reformed, and re-organized to deal with the new enemy.

The Noirerouge advanced alongside the Commonwealth Fleet, while the Dwarven and Blancpayne Grand Fleets attacks from the opposite side.

Once in range, the three flagships fired their Particle Cannons on the Sectoid Fleet, followed by the cannon and missile fire. The Dragoons quietly position themselves on the flanks, ready to attack at a moments' notice.
