Open Space
Record #347
Owner: Admiral Malum
15th Arstotzka Patrol Fleet

At Exactly 1733 Standard Time. A Massive Sized Group of Brigands successfully launched a raid on an Arstotzka Fueling Station that was recently housing a Special Transport Fleet that was supposed to be carrying a Special Item that was to be delivered directly to the Home World and to the Capital City of Rstograd. The Brigands Utilized a Nearby Asteroid Belt to take on the fleet that should have outgunned them significantly. They strapped rockets to a large collection of Asteroids and when the Transport Fleet was properly hooked up for fueling they sent the Asteroids flying. The Ensuing Destruction would be considerable.

The Transport Fleet contained 1 Light Battle Cruiser, 2 Frigates, a Heavy Transport, and at least 4 Destroyers. The Asteroids had successfully crushed the Cruiser as well as One of the Frigates, the Heavy Transport as well as Two of the Destroyers and the Remaining Frigate were crippled and their shields were down. The Fueling Station was destroyed and dragged one of the Destroyers down with it burning into the Planet that was housing its atmosphere. Only a single destroyer made it out of the Asteroid attack in relative shape enough to combat the Brigands. But what could one destroyer do against a Pirate Fleet that as of to this date is the largest in record of pirate activity? Accordingly the Brigand Fleet counted out 2 Light Battle Cruisers, 7 Frigates, 11 Destroyers, and a considerable amount of cheap non classified ships that appear to have been scrapped together with parts from other ships.

Do not be fooled. The Fleet is large. But I for the life of me did not see a single ship that's Beam Weaponry wasn't unstable and clearly would explode if placed under significant pressure. But somehow the Pirates showed restraint in their bursts of fire. How this is possible is beyond me.Regardless the Brigands Boarded the Aforementioned Crippled Transport Ship, and Seized its Contents, then proceeded to Warp Out.

My Fleet was due to refuel at the same station to escort the Transport along the way. My Fleet does not currently maintain enough fuel to go on a long hunt. But that is not necessary. They're Fleet was clearly guzzling a mass amount of fuel, and the Destroyer had been able to release a single Hull Breaker Missile directly to one of the Brigand Cruisers crippling it. They would need to repair and refuel somewhere nearby. If they wanted to attack this station so badly as made clear with the amount of work placed into it, they would maintain their own fueling station in a nearby System. I was able to get a few short range drones to scan every solar system nearby that would have the Fuel Contents to Supply such a Fleet.

Once a Practical Planet was found, I ordered my fleet to Warp In. We are only 3 Frigates and a Cruiser. We are badly outnumbered, but no one takes what rightfully belongs to Arstotzka and walks away unscathed.

The 15th Patrol Fleet drops out of Space they are immediately welcomed by an Unnamed Planet with a Single Pirate Fueling Station Currently in Full view. Most of the Pirate Fleet are currently refueling... but 5 Destroyers are still active and combat ready... and within the Arstotzka Cruiser SAS "Odium" an Admiral Smiled as he pressed on his intercom to alert the rest of the crew from his chair in the Bridge.

All hands to Battle Stations. Brigands detected Orbiting Unnamed Planet. Mobile Suit Pilots Launch on my Mark. Glory to Arstotzka.

Sunday 16th November 1530 E.KR.

A scout force composed of 4 invisible warships, all fully cloaked were sent into a southward star system.

The planets were scanned for Intelligent life but were found to be barren waists.

with not a tree in sight (let alone a man), smuggle colony transports were sent to construct mining bases on all the systems large bodies.

Multiple patrols of Invisible warships watch the system for invaders. (single ship per patrol)

construction begins on a second Planetary converter mark 1 for terraforming and defense purposes.

Benzin System

It was quite a meeting, another chance for the lot of them to be in once place and all peer at each other. Hidden guns, armed thugs, and protective but stylish fashion. They all watched each other, mentally licking their lips. Drugs, weapons, human trafficking; it was all profitable. Uppers, a lot of them were doing uppers. Their big eyes and their dead stares gave it away. He knew this, he had been here before and he had was here to finally obtain the ultimate prize.

"Did you bring the product?"

"Got some serious leggage in the transport, Im going to score big."

"And who are you going to sell it too?"

Tear smiled a little and opened his arms widely.

"Why, all of you, of fucking course!"

"At what rate?"

"I want ten times the rate, these are expensive and hard to find subjects."

"Are they trained?"

"Highly trained, highly modified. It's been a been a long process refining them, but its done."

"Who gets how many?"

"Depends on how much you pay, all of you get at least one as a...personal attendant."

"Four times the rate for one and higher for the rest, interesting."

"Yes, Im finally going to get something special."

"What could you want? You already got the supply?"

Tear started laughing without control, leaning over the table and gripping it. His head raised up and tears ran down his eyes, completely unlike the tears he saw in his work.

"I just thought of this little song the product used to sing, and you reminded me of it."

"Oh really? How does it go?"

"Oh mom-ma, Im about to be set freeeeee."

There was coughing, gagging, banging on the table, tears, and spit. One of them wiped their face with their sleeve and smiled widely.

"That's hilarious. Like the product could sing now after all the processing."

"What's the next part"

Tear cleared his throat and continued, leaning into the table. He had his hands on it and his thumbs pressing into his jacket on mirrored ends.

"Gonna kill myself and the enemy."

The snickers and coughing, quickly turned to color draining from their face. One of them tried to say a single word, but it was too late. By the time their brain registered what was going on and their face adjusted, Tear was pressing both buttons at once.

In, out, in, out, in, out.

The breathing was louder inside the mask, despite the helmet and volume system. Each foot step was louder and clear, crisp even. Mangled bodies and parts of bodies, shattered pieces of wood. The transport had opened on que and left them to move in, to clean up what survived. One of them was shaking still, choking on their own blood. A gunshot none of the team heard later and the loud quivering was over.

"When will I get to redeem myself?"

"Later, it was his turn and so he did it."

Friday 21st November 1530E.KR.

After the success of the Initial scouting mission, the other adjacent systems have been scouted.
with nobody to be found, the same has been made to them as prior.
this has prompted the Knights order to begin the construction of 2 more planetary converters.

Brigand Pirate Fueling Station Orbiting Unnamed Planet
Record #348
Owner: Admiral Malum
15th Arstotzka Patrol Fleet

Standard Time 1514. The Brigands are Ferocious in their defense of the Fueling Station Platform. They have Dragged this Battle Out for almost an entire day. If they had not stolen from the Homeland, I would consider taking prisoners for recruitment. But no such thing can take place. The most I they could hope for is that the Genetics Department of the AARF are kind enough to at least administer their pain receptors null and void. But I have seen what those men do for a living, I have seen what horrors go on in that place. I cannot say I can sleep peacefully knowing the full horrors of what is done to make certain the weapons we draw need only fire once for the enemy to be silenced, but I cannot say I would sleep at all if our weapons were not what they were. The Ends Justify the Means, wise words to live by in the Imperial Navy.

The Battle starts off as one would suspect. I ordered my Frigates to Rear Guard Duty and order my Cruiser to the Forefront, I sent word to all Mages on Board with a Contract with Hypnos and Iris to Cease any attempt the Enemy may make to Contact Allies, Our Fleet is significantly technologically more advance then theirs as noted by the Unstable Beam Fire, but I do not wish to try my luck relying on the enemies poor weapons, a Gun can still kill you even if it can only fire a single shot. The Destroyers of the Enemy weren't expecting us, which suggests they were aware of the Cargo Transport but not of my Patrol Fleet that was supposed to Support them. This works in my advantage significantly, before the Pirates have a moment to fire a single burst of Beam Fire, my Cruisers Flak Missiles rip into 3 of the Destroyers Hulls, and My Frigates Concentrate their Beam Cannons on said Ships Downing them in a single wave of Rail Gun Fire. At which point the other Destroyers decide to fall back whilst unloading as many missiles as they could, and attempting to draw my cruiser out of my frigates protection of my frigates; into the protection of the Fueling Stations Defenses which have clearly been activated.

The Station as my Mages and Communications Officers have stated is quickly moving to repair the Damaged Cruiser as well as the rest of Fleet for Combat while preparing to Launch Fighter Craft to buy time. They are relying on the Stations Shields which one of the Pirates have mentioned cost them quite a bit to install to handle our Ships Cannons.

The Poor Bastards.

All Mobile Suit Pilots Prepare for Launch; Equip Anti Ship and Short Range Missile Weaponry. All Marines to Leech Craft; Leech Craft Pilots on Stand By, Prepare for Boarding Mission.

I order my Frigates forward, their Auto Cannons are far more suited to handling their Fighter Detachments, whilst My Cruiser takes up Rear Guard Duty in their Stead.

Midi-Candida, Schnee

Xerion, disgusting, carnivorous creatures. Their bodies were like some kind of horrible wolf or doglike bipedal apex predator. They were known to attack anything and eat anything, if it could move. The white hair didn't cover innocence, it was just a feature that went along with the class and sharp teeth. Many of them were most of a foot of half a meter shorter then humans, while being 20 pounds or 10 kilograms lighter then the lightest human males and females. Their cybernetic implants were a want and not a need, a savage and brutal want. On the edge of the Midi-Candida System, seven Jagged Hatchet Class Annihilators sat in wait. The Prole Confederation had taken this system because others didn't want it, just like how they were dealing with the local Xerion problems, because others wanted things to be quick and easy. Midi-Candida had provided little, but it remained a system and it had it's own garrison. Ten Destroyers would remain in reserve, guarding the space station on Schnee, much like others did around Masunk'.

Where the smaller destroyers were 1.5 kilometers, the annihilators were 3 kilometers. They had a long forward facing coil-gun, followed by six secondary coil-guns, and 12 long-range missile launchers, stronger shields, and many smaller weapon systems for borders. In the command of the most forward annihilator was Zářeni. Záření didn't have any speeches to give, he wasn't that kind of guy. Záření was the kind of guy to rename himself after his sickness and mostly act in silence. When he was younger his chest-sign had been green, but it had darkened after the accident and people were left whispering about it when he wasn't around. When he entered the command module for the annihilator, he looked at the Admiral in charge and simply walked over to him. Reaching out with a discolored, sickly hand; he touched the shoulder of the commanding officer, a woman, and said nothing. She grabbed the microphone and held down the button, before beginning her speech.

"I will quote the 1982 speech of Armageddon recited first by Seth, the Prophet." She began, her tone of voice much deeper then it normally was, her eyes staring straight ahead, "We have done nothing to warrant this level of violent hatred and abusive. We don't know these people and they should stay in their own fucking goddamn borders and stop nuking our fucking goddamn cities!"

She clenched the microphone, sweat running down her brow, not having the slightest idea what she would say next. There was a presence, an aura, of death and suffering in the ship in the room, but it quickly was being replaced with hatred and retribution.

"We have lost so much that we worked so hard to built, and so many are death now." She growled out, almost hissing with each word, before shaking her fist in the air, "But for what! For what reason are we at war? For what reason have they come to kill our people and rape our land? I will tell you, there is no reason, there should be a reason and there isn't. There should be some greed or some misunderstanding, or some belief that we could adjust or talk over or work out. They just fucking hate us, that is not a reason, there is no justification for having anything against us and wasting all of these lives just to enslave us. There is no profit to be made, there is no good to be done, there is no pleasure to seek. Those of them that stay in their own goddamn borders can live, but every single on that comes over here is going to die. There isn't going to be any more restraint from my forces and I encourage you to be as brutal and aggressive as possible till they leave us alone. If they want to throw themselves at us, I will bleed them so dry that their bodies are like dried meat-husks. If I can die having killed a thousand imperialists, I will not be satisfied, if I have killed a million I will not be at peace. I will butcher them so heavily and with such speed, that they will look upon me and call me the spirit of death."

She was caught up in emotions she never had known and feeling she had never had, speaking thoughts she never had thought at all. The presence grew till it filled the entire ship, as the sound of the speech filled all seven vessels. Tears ran down her eyes, she was almost on the verge of a mental breakdown. Some words would come out slow and then others would gush out of her like a dam had broken.

"I miss Robby, I miss my brother, I miss my best friend!" She sobbed out, her teeth so clenched up between words they almost hurt, "I stand in schoolyards and in front of orphanages, thinking of the future that was robbed of us, of the past that has been set alight. No amount of death will bring back what we have lost, what I have lost, but it will be a message to the world. That message will be, 'Laying a finger upon our children and civilians will bring down great fire upon you, you will be sobbing for mercy as we grind you into dust so small it reacts with the air! Don't come here, don't fight us, and don't you fucking dare think about looking at a red button.'"

The presence had expanded into the other vessels, and as the speech finished, everyone stood in silence as they felt the added weight to the air. Some of them had felt it at what had been his grave-site or perhaps at the sacred Birthland, but never with this intensity. What others had felt and sensed was a feeling of wisdom and peace, but this was a much younger presence then what had been sensed before. It was a presence of youth, of bittersweet love, of being barely a man and yet forced to assume a lot of responsibility. A feeling that all of the capable people were dead or busy, so you were forced to do things you weren't qualified to do. As they stood at their stations, they could feel hundreds of thousands of older eyes staring at them, looking for leadership that they didn't believe they had. They could smell of rolled cannabis and the feel of of a bottle of vodka in the left hand. Tears ran down some of their eyes, the weight of gear they were barely strong enough to carry loaded them down, and the world looked so dark to all of them. The sound of drums played softly in the back of their minds, matched with distant hums and mourning.

"Thank you Záření, for providing us such an important and life-changing presence." Olovo stated, placing a hand in return upon his shoulder, "Can you maintain the presence and establish a link?"

"For you, yes." Záření whispered.

"Thank you Konrad." Olovo replied, before turning to the data before her and taking her seat, with his own facing hers and to her side. She held down the comm still as she gave an order, "All ships prep battery one of their missiles, all coil-gun crews to max readiness, five seconds to jump. One thousand and one, one thousand and two, one thousand and three, one thousand and four, one thousand and five."

The seven vessels activated their hyper-drives, projecting a gate just in front of them, and turned on their engines to throw themselves into it. At the right moment, they would open another gate, leave hyper space, and as practiced begin firing right away.

Benzin System
The seven vessels began firing as soon as they arrived in the system, at the edge and their weapons fully charged. A series of long-range missiles were launched, as the coil-guns began to fire over and over. To their backs was a friendly system, to their sides were possible hostiles, and in front of them the enemy was concentrated. At such long distances, for the most part only parts of the defense grid were current targets, and juicy ones they were. It would take as long as seven hours for the rounds to reach their current targets. The ships moved quickly, advancing with their menacing guns, spending eight hours moving in. Meanwhile, a full scale urban battle happened on the largest space-station, and hired mercenaries turned their guns on the pirates around them. As the hours passed, combat became more and more violent, as ships tried to land forces or flee. When the seven Jagged Hatchet Class Annihilators were twenty minutes from the station and the planet it orbited, a number of ships had already left the carnage, were going to get more help.

"These are not the Xenon, but they will suffer regardless." Olovo said, watching the screen, as the power of will ran through her and by extension her fleet, "Get ready to get in position, they are going to be sending reinforcements very soon."

"Aye, we dod as ya askd." An incoming message played, "Ur id theh banus?"

"You get scrap rights to all of the wrecked ships, you keep any ships you captured, and you get to loot the incoming wrecks." Olovo answered

"Ouh, Uht abit the notacitics?" The message replied

"For your own peoples use only, you can't sell them in our territory." Olovo added, "You can take the weapons as well, everything but the lifeforms, the clothes on their backs, and whatever installations are there."

"Ood, vary ell."

"Sweep the area and let me know when hostiles are two hours from us, so we have time to prepare." Olovo ordered, releasing the crew from the link and grabbing the intercom."Second watch eats and sleeps now, take your injections, and worry about showering when you wake. First watch needs to keep their eyes open and be at half alert."

Four Hours Later

"As we predicted, they spent a few hours moving in and being sure their readings were right, before bailing the system."

"Not surprised, this is good for our tired crew then." Olovo stated, looking around, "We should garrison here and try to look over the area, see what is here."

Tuesday 2nd of December 1530

With so many empty systems discovered and a hearty supply of Lords wanting to send their sons to extend the family wealth, More systems have been scouted and colonized and another 6 PC1s are scheduled for construction.

The southward system however was a different story.

A standard scout force of 4 invisible warships was sent into the system and a primitive empire was found to be inhabiting the system.
The scouts decloaked in orbit of the systems inhabitents and deployed Radio dishes before attempting communication.

Sir Peter: "This is a public notice that this system is now the territory of his majesty King Robert I the Conqueror of Belgiosweden. Surrender and we will begin peacefully integrating you into our society and find you a place among our many peoples.
If you decide that surrendering is not in your best interests..."

A scout ship then carves a giant picture of a pineapple onto the planets Moon with it's Photocannons.

Sir Peter: "...Understood? Send a small craft for docking when you are Ready to begin Integration duiscussions"

Newly Named System: Malum
Record #349
Owner: Admiral Malum
15th Arstotzka Patrol Fleet

Standard Time 2301. I proudly name this System after myself for the Glory of Arstotzka. This Sector is for Arstotzka. This Fueling Station is for Arstotzka. The Information taken from the Station Noting the Pirates and Other Brigands Movements and Mining Operations that Run through this Sector is for Arstotzka, and such a Prize it is that I am in awe of these ruffians organization and tact. If they were not so bullish and lacking in the ability to work with each other, I would think these people capable of forming their own Galactic Empire, but regardless their lack of these abilities is only better to empower Arstotzka and its Dreams of Empire.

The Battle with the Brigands was effortlessly brutal, and uncontrollably fast paced, but yet consumed so much time. They desperately attempted to launch their docked fleet, but were only capable of launching the still injured cruiser as well as two frigates, the rest of the Brigand Fleet will to the Credit of the 47th Mobile Suit Brigade not leave the Dock. The 47th were able to sneak past the Brigand Fighter Squadrons and Beeline past the Fueling Station Defenses to make a direct attack on the Fueling Station Dock's. They're Anti-Ship Particle Beam Cannons were kept busy.

The Docks were connected to the Fueling Station Shield Generators, and thus the feedback cut the power, allowing for my Leech Craft to tear into the Fueling Stations Hull and deploy my Marines into the Enemy Base. Their was little resistance, the Station was full of Woman and Children. As it is doctrine, I am not proud of the Orders I gave, but as it is doctrine; no one takes from the State. No one takes from Arstotzka, and walks away with it. No One. The Marines on board of the Station knew this, they did not bother asking command misguided requests and for that they are commended as well.

Once the Station was taken, the Brigands knew the Battle was over. They would only die tired. They surrendered.

I accepted.

No one need guess their fate.

After the Battle the Item was safely secured, and I sent out an SOS signal back to the Home Worlds. A Battalion Fleet was sent for Extraction, and as we are well aware of thanks to my initiative it was decided that this sector be fully explored for all of its resources that Station Computers Recorded, a more Advanced Station is now within the Malum Sectors, and Colonies are being prepared to inhabit some of the Planets within the sector.

System: Nidus
Record #1
Owner: Admiral
2nd Anti-Piracy Fleet

Záření, has been very good to me lately, as he always is and has been. For that I am thankful that I have been assigned him the past few years, and I proud to be part of a nation that could look at me, and know to assign us to each other.

In the nature of our society of openness, he reads my reports after I release them and is well aware of anything I would say here, and if I didn't very much prefer working with him; I might not.

We didn't manage to find any Xerion, but we have made strong progress in defeating the pirates and expanding liberation. We found a planet of moderate fertility, nothing to NIduses level, but it's a fair commercial hub and will perform well as the middle between Nidus and some further point. The issue that I have already noticed, is that our hyperdrives can get us very far without forcing us to go very far within a system, and we remain going at sub-light speed in such gravity wells; as you likely already know.

If the amount of energy after six jumps being so considerable, I would support widespread exploration and reaching out to further powers on a daily basis. This is likely short-sided, as our four separate experiences with life not from Nidus, have been for the most part more negative then what we ran into on Nidus. So far we have barely found one, if any, cooperative factions that don't want sizable pay.

As to the further nature of the invasion into the Benzin System, we have knocked out several destroyer class and one cruiser class vessels. I had not expected the pirates to have access to a cruiser or a ship of such a size, so they might have stolen it from the Xerions. So far almost all of them are bog-standard human, and many of them perished in the fighting, but you can blame the mercs for that. A force of around a dozen destroyers and two more cruisers moved in to attack us, but then turned around when they saw what we were. Over the course of hours, I watched this take place, due to the nature of sub-light travel in a system.

Knowing what I know, I would guess there is a force of that size to three times that size lying in wait for us in the next system over. There is another system we are bordering, that I still know nothing about and am wary of exploring without more forces. I hope that the ships we have in storage are put into service finally, soon as possible, as I am going to need those to help me hold this location. The way the things are now, it could be months before we have this area entirely under our control and I intend to keep it so.

Long Live The Fighters, Admiral Olovo Edward Libertad

Tuesday 9th December 1530

A PC1 has been completed and is now watching over our new territory. Sir Perter Peterson has been awarded the pineapple medal for his negotiations prowess.

The Xerion were quite eager to fill the knight's order's ranks with new recruits (and that's ignoring the integration of their military)

The Xerion have unfortunately refused to allow us to terraform their planet...
probably for the best really...
after all it is an ice planet.

Xerion warships are being dismantled and their sciantific knowledge is being added to our own.

Exploration is being halted by royal order for the holidays.

Colonization/Mining Outlook Record #004
Owner: High Admiral Malum
15th, 16th, and 18th Colonial/Garrison Fleet

The Pirate Records from the newly conquered Malum Sector have been efficiently decoded and added to the AAMRF Records. It is safe to say that the records are ripe with gain. Three new sectors have been discovered. The Sector Nearest to Malum is ripe for Mining, Equipment is being moved from the Ishmael System and my 15th Patrol Fleet having been reinforced to now form a Garrison Fleet now occupy the System and monitor construction of the Mine. My Garrison Fleet will also overlook the Colonial Construction within the Malum Sector.

As to the Other Sectors Located to the Flank of the Sectors Rstograd and Ishmael, the Sectors carry a host of solar systems capable of maintaining life much like that of the Malum Sector. Two Fleets have been deployed to the Area's the 16th Patrol Fleet alongside an added few Colonial Ships as well as the 18th Colonial Fleet. They have had limited interaction with Pirates that I assume are part of the Brigand Base that was stationed it what is now Malum. These interaction were dealt with in similar fashion to my own as was to be expected.

Soon these Sectors will become productive parts of the Arstotzkan Empire.

System: Unnamed
Mercenary Fleet One

The collection of smaller ships jumped into the system in spread out formations, before beginning ask the region. There was a large ship left untouched deep within the gravity well, along with a few minor space-stations. There was so far nothing detected that was running, the whole system seemed mostly dark. A few hours were spent getting deeper into the gravity well and looking over the system, while going over the data, but so far no defenses were found. There was a through argument between the various parties about capturing the systems, but eventually they agreed they would be exposed in this area trying to hold the location and being here too long would draw too much attention. If the people who controlled this system left, that meant they had a reason, so likely the region would be overran very soon. Perhaps if there was some defenses, they would just raid and get out of there, but since there was none it was too odd to really spend to many hours in that area.

The system was left alone and the mercs found someplace to dock, the system they were just in.

Colonization/Mining Record #005
Owner: High Admiral Malum
15th, 16th, and 18th Colonial/Garrison Fleet

The Malum Sector has finally received a Defense Matrix. The Matrix is imperative for the defense of a sector. All by itself the Matrix can sense movements made by forces not of Arstotzka it can sense human brainwaves and send messages to the designated mage that will in turn send the proper passwords within the moment he receives the message. If the message sent by the Matrix is ignored, or the mage gives the wrong password, it unleashes a psychic storm within the area of the unknown fleets movements. A single storm should be able to badly scorch the whole of a planets surface.

The Matrix can also open portals to other sectors should said sector also contain a defense matrix. Only the Homeworlds Ignis, Rstograd and Ishmael maintain Defense Matrix's. Future Matrix's are currently being produced to be spread to the new Sectors which have decided to be named after they have received their matrix's.

No further news.

The nation was fully preparing for war, war against at least three different if not more powers. Politics raged on around them, raged on around The Confederation, and they had become tired of it. It was the future, faster then light travel was widespread, and yet people wasted their time on issues that should have been solved decades ago. Social issues that were fixed by technology, or math, or logic; but still remained up for debate despite how insane that was. The Prole Confederation was safe, secure, and had instantaneous elections that matched exactly the will of the people. Whenever an issue went up for a vote, each and every angle to it was able to post their own views on it, which were fact checked by people who didn't care about the issue. In a lot of ways, democracy had become irrelevant, because people now agreed upon things. IT was like the issue of women voting, or slavery being wrong; these were issues that had been universally decided over a hundred years ago.

There was one thing they could vote upon, and that was war; that was something that remained a yes or no.

The people said yes, they said it was time to prepare their forces to be projected. It was time to intervene in pointless conflicts and do what needed to be done, to establish a foothold in Beta where refugees and independents could be safe. It was only a matter of time till the forces were assembled and rallied, till the commitments became total and not partial.

Colonization/Mining Record #006
Owner: Admiral Malum
15th, 16th and 18th Colonial Garrison Fleet

The Malum Sector is now slowly growing... systems are establishing economic centers and media centers to allow communication between colonies, and with the home worlds. A single system has become the designated rally point for Imperial Fleet ships. The Defense Matrix is now housed in the systems orbit and resources from the home world are being moved to supply the building of several shipyards, for light fleet ships.

Mines have begun to pump out resources from the other sectors, the scheduling of transports to move these mass of resources has become necessary, these transport fleets move to the Malum Sector and are then warped to the home world for processing and distribution.

A Defense Matrix has been applied to the sector nearest to Malum, and hence after some discussion has been named the "Fortitudo" Sector. The sector is rich in general ship building material, as well as material important for developing important electronics. It is a treasure trove of resources.

Sector: Unnamed Sector
Report: Expedition One - Crescat
Subject: Admiral Garrick Redwood
Log: 197

One hundred and ninety-seven. After what took months of approval, we've been permitted to move a small fleet into new territory and expand from the New Greton sector. We've been lucky to not encounter anything in the current unnamed sector, but reports of pirates and terrorists are only a few sectors away. Several miners and cargo ships have been reported missing the further in those directions they go, and it's only a matter of time before we're forced to take care of that situation and discontinue our exploration. However, considering the crew's high morale to be on the move again, and their eagerness to be the ones on the path to help New Greton spread it wings, I'd safely say that we'll make some mighty fine progress on this expedition. Other than that, the bridge has been calm, reports have been nominal, and all is quiet. Though I fear this is all too similar to the calm before a storm. The amount of possibilities, with the cluster of claimed sectors in the distance, and more to be discovered, it's hard to say how long this calm will last. Some suggest that, as new as our government is, it may be best to expand slower, to risk falling as quickly as we rose. Others say we take advantage of the open reign and expand rapidly. For now, we will continue our exploration of this sector, and go from there.

16th of January 1531

Over the Holiday season:
All Needed PCs have been completed and more are being constructed
Xerion integration completed
Complete Westernization of Xerion government, economic system, sciantific and mediacl practices, and Military structure.
the Duchy of Zerjonmark has been established and the official name for the people of this Duchy is to be Zerjon (pronounced the same as before)
(all mentions of Zerjon henceforth refer to the the Xerion of Zerjonmark) (this is marked as a lighter blue on the map)
Military ships have been switched to arcanical control systems rather than the previous floral systems but civilian and commercial vessels mostly retain this
Exploration will now resume until December of 1531

As of 1531:
5 new inhabited systems have been discovered 2 of which are now part of Zerjonmark, however one has a large planetary population attempting to fight a gorilla war with us. a request is pending approval to trraform the planet over the top of the gorilla fighters.
1 of these systems was seen to be in a state of civil war and to avoid making future enemies it has been left to snuff itself out.
the final 2 were just full of loonies and looters, so we bribed the looters to kill the loonies and we are just waiting for them to clear each other out so we can take the systems no problem.

System: Xеллхоле

It had taken months to repair the collection of docked fleets in the area, along with pressing enough people to serve aboard them and prepare them to operate such complex machinery. Each of them was 370 meters long, and armed with a two forward facing laser guns. They had full working shields and seemed to be in well made, but repaired heavily in a way that was barely acceptable. There was a lot of course and ugly welds along the outside of the ships. They were parked at several stations throughout the system, which had been used for trade and ship construction in the months before. However, the violence and shifting of control the past few years, the economic collapse, the societal collapse, and the barbarization of the entire quadrent had done dark things to it's structure. Reports throughout the galaxy knew of the trouble the Beta had experienced, but it was believed that Beta had stabilized. There was people moving money and travel into Beta, there was local space nations forging wider borders in the area, and so far the pirates had taken many hits.

The Great Opšti had been the leader of a handful of corporations and had connections to the underground blackmarket. When the militarizes in the area fell apart, his corporate thugs helped him take over. He had spent the last period getting capital, threatening locals, killing opposition, and getting the parked fleets repaired. He had a wide collection of other ships waiting to be repaired or in good condition, many of them smaller, which he planned to use to expand his reach. With that he had a fleet each move into the two systems of his choosing, with the hope of bringing them swiftly their their knees. It would be dozens of hours till he found out what happened, but he licked his lips with excitement.

System: A'Sonta

A quiet system, that had strong security and was constantly used as a stopping point for ships trying to get to other systems. In the past it had been making a lot more money, but with all the travel and trade springing up again, it was making money hand over fist. The Republic had gotten the messages sent via the Prole Confederation probe and it seemed like they were going to let their starport be a refueling spot for the Confederation, while it moved to other areas. The problem was the Prole Confederation was talking of war and moving a lot of ships, while whispers of their "Cause" was were swimming around. Negotiations were tense and everything was taking up time. Currently a meeting was being held between the two, with guards all around the area from the locals, bearing their rifles, which were common in the area. Dozens of planets had been making them, back when times were good. Perhaps things would get better.

Industrial Record #001
Owner: Viceroy Christopher Quell
Malum Sector Defense Matrix[b]

Is this thing on? Yes? Wonderful Ensign! you may step off now then! I shall take care of the rest and call for you when I am done! Greetings Recording! I am the newly appointed Viceroy of the Malum Sector! I am dutifully excited this could be the highlight of my career or the downfall! which is which shall be determined now. Admiral Malum has given me command over all Civilian Based Projects within the Malum Sector, I am in charge of colonist settlement negotiations, factory construction, recourse transport, civilian security, and more, and if I can handle this much the Inquisitors will have no reason to withhold further promotion! I could meet the High Administrator himself! I could become an Inquisitor!

I WILL NOT FAIL

I've decided to begin my Viceroy duties in the military sector, I've seen oversight to the construction of several military shipyards across the Sector, the Military maintain the largest budget on an annual basis, they can be [b]VERY charitable towards Sectors that divulge resources to their coffers! If I can secure favor with them through Admiral Malum I can bolster my own budget in the long term! however I will have to sacrifice my short term budget, but this is a risk I am willing to make, I will have to cut funding towards settlements through out the Sector, but they're budget isn't in vast need as most first generation colonists are not coming here empty handed! I can put them off for a little while but I will expect some complaints.

But for now let me be merry! and High Administrator Bless Me!

23rd of January 1531

After the Much consideration it has been decided that systems without any planets or asteroid belts are not worth being guarded by PC1s and as such the PC1s in systems C and H have been moved to systems K and L to better protect Zerjonmark.
Invisible warships still patrol the empty sectors along with research stations being in stellar orbit.

the Looters and Loonies in systems M and N were eradicated after they bombed each other extensively.
they were all executed without public knowledge.
system N is scheduled for colonization and system M is on the patrol monitor for it is without planets.

2 squads of 4 fully cloaked invisible warships have been deployed:
1 in (Pvuk-Yur) southwestward of K
1 in (Midi-Candida) Southward of K
They will use their grav scanners to look about the systems and avoid detection from what may be connected to the civil war as seen westward of Zerjonmark.

System: Nidus
Planet: Nidus
Nation: Pentaga Giudici
City: Liberus
Time: Days Earlier

The large area leading to the military docking areas was crowded with civilians, who stood, watching the soldiers march in formation towards the transports. They moved in full combat gear, carrying their various weapons and things, their extra gear already on the transports. The infantry advanced forward, grouped by unit, with each Sargent with their squad, and each higher ranking officer ahead of what they represented. Each soldier was tagged, so that their family members could easily spot them with their devices and take pictures. Leading the march was Grand Army General Xavier, who moved with determination despite his age. Someone called out and he turned his head, till marching, with complete discipline. It was a little girl, dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. She ran toward Xavier, almost tripping and falling. The little girl, barely eight pulled himself to his feet and pushed forward, as several civilians then sprinted off after her. Xavier stopped marching and slowly, the forces behind him began to stop as well, as people started to talk amongst themselves and others dashed after the girl. Xaiver ran after her as quickly as he could and met her somewhere in the middle. She jumped up and put her arms around her, and he instinctively caught her.

Her eyes were marigold, signs that she was produced by mixing the the genetic material of volunteers and DNA samples of those who could hear the forces beyond. Perhaps it was wrong to make life in such a way, but the orphanages had been great for over a hundred years, and they yielded some of the best and brightest.

"Comrade!" She cried out, frowning and sounding scared, "D-does....D-Does there have to be a war?"

Her face pouted and she whimpered, looking up at him, trembling softly. The process had been one of the most ultimate attacks on inhumanity, a strike that was profound and shocking. Her mind not only was built with a strong series of empathy connections, in direct defiance of traitors and minions of the Dark One, but she could sense the souls of others. She couldn't quite cope with death, despite how she could sense people past that point.

"I'm not sure what else I can do..." Xavier admitted, filled with more shame and terror then he had ever felt. Her every word, her every expression, her every breath; ran through him like a current and he felt the most compulsive need to please her.

She turned her head back and called out, almost pouting.

"Go back!" She called out, before turning to Xavier, still frowning. "Why are we going to war, Dad? Why must people die?"

"I can't let them suffer anymore." Xavier admitted, his eyes locked on hers, his every breath felt like there was weights in his lungs, "They are doing unspeakable things out there. I have to stop them.... It's my duty.... My purpose.... I have to act.... I have to do something."

She sighed out and lowered her head, closing her eyes. After a few more seconds, she looked at him with determination, before looking at the ground. He set her back down and she grabbed his hand, before pulling him forward. Without thought, he began to walk after her, before moving at the same pace she did. His steps were slow, marching, but her pace was fast. Quickly, the army marched after him, as he went along with her.

"Then I will go with you." She declared, gritting her teeth a little,

No one stopped her, no one could muster the will to stop her, she was just too powerful.

Sector: 1055 Jordani
Report: Expedition One - Unnamed Terrestrial Jordani Planet
Subject: Admiral Garrick Redwood
Log: 207

The Jordani System has proved to soon be very beneficial to the growth of New Greton. Until recently, we've found it to be nothing but rock, ice, and a 42 moon Gas Giant. However, we've come across a civilized terrestrial planet, hosting hundreds of thousands of thousands of citizens under some form of oligarchy. 80% water, thin atmosphere, spanning across 4000 miles. Even better, being an oligarchy, they don't seem too happy with it. We have sent emissaries and scouts to get a better idea of the situation. Worst case scenario, we have a quick fight with an enemy with incredibly weak military and an already upset populace. With the hopes of liberating them from the oligarchy without too much resistance, we may be able to allocate some resources to the new planet, along with our just governing.

Scouted systems were found to contain Little defenses and stations belonging to one of the people involved in the prior noticed civil war.
It is therefor possible to stabilize and disarm the region by drawing their attention away from that location by invading these systems ourselves.
the scouts are being removed from the system for the time being and fleets are being build up in K until the order is approved.

Pirates are still being discovered and undergoing mulching.

System: буриш

What had once been a system almost entirely dependent on trade, a place that grew rich merely on it's location, was now in terrible condition. Food shipments had stopped coming in a few months ago and the number of dead was considerable. As soon as supplies of food began to dry up, their was riots and then uprisings. The goverment executed thousands of murders before they could be broken out by the insurgents and rebels, but many got out before they could all be dealt with. Elderly people were offered considerable sums of wealth to peacefully commit suicide and anyone who remained in a coma was unplugged. Pets and animals were consomed, save those that could feast on insects or the scrapings of the system. Most of stations were built on moons to keep travel and transportation costs low, so it was hard to really grow that much in the way of food. Some degree of food growth was figured out, mainly via algae and fish. Consumer goods were then the second thing to dry up, as the fighting caused widespread damage to people's homes and businesses. Then the ammo started to dry up, and the security forces found themselves firing one shot at a time.

The installations found themselves using what fuel they had to fight among themsleves and within themselves, since they didn't have the ships in the solar system to leave the solar system. Crude ballistic weaponry was put together by various factions and slowly, those who had resources or the means to obtain them began to amass power. Many cruelties were inflicted, entire communities wiped out by an explosion, or a mass slaugher, or by starvation. Canibalism set in certain communities, melee combat set in, and it soon became a free for all.

It was very easy for the invading fleet to simply kill another portion of the surviors and use that to strike fear into the hearts of the rest. They were given two options, to work as servents or be massacured with actually capable technology. Most of what remained, turned themselves over, which left about 60% of the overall population that survived intact. The horrors they inflicted on each other left them scarred and mentally shattered, but they didn't need to be much to work.
