The New California Republic was officially formed from the state government. Donald Trump's reign of 'terror' led to the California's swift succession as the first nation to leave the union. Other states would soon follow suit as the United States slowly fractured, until collapsing in on itself leaving the world with 55 brand new nations. The American flag was stripped from the flagpoles, replaced with that of the New California Republic. The NCR was founded on the beliefs of democracy, being a liberal republic and obviously having control over the Californian state. It is currently at conflict with its rival state, ever since the mid 1900s, the Republic of Texas. Relations with the north have been pretty good, both Oregon and Washington being left-wing and all. A war with Nevada is possible, due to the Hoover Dam's strategic location, and the precious energy which it produces. Arizona is neutral, albeit it probably firmly supports the damned Texans.

The two generals nodded at this news and proceeded up the steps of the congressional building to an office in plain yellow letters marked Presidential Office. as the door creaked open, both men were uneasily slighted at the sight of a papers thrown about, several boxes and drawings crumbled up and a moldy slice of pizza on the ceiling,glued there despite years of progress.
"come Sit, we have much to discuss." with a nod to each other, they took their seats across from each other as the small meeting began, the door shutting closed behind them and the blinds being closed.
"Now then, how many recruits are we getting each month?"
"Well sir, last month it was at 67, down 10 from the 77 two months ago, if this keeps up, we might start losing troops."
Cox scratched his chin with his hands.
"I see, what of heavy armory, I'm sure Deseret Industries-"
"Deseret Industries reports a 3 new MBT mark VII tanks being built, this brings our total armor to two divisons of 30 tanks each."

Cox was taken aback by this, he had planned operation noah's ark a month ago, and the generals knew every detail, he hadn't told them, how the heck did they figure it out?! smirking, he shifted his stance.
"I see, we will build a dockyard near the green river's widest point, enough for two new destroyers to operate in. with these new ships at our disposal ,the navy will be a bit bigger."

King Mason called a meeting with his most trusted general, Luke Carter. General Carter was renowned for his career in the Middle East, acting as a general in the Gulf War. He quickly gained a reputation as being a natural leader, as well as a skilled tactician.

King Mason discussed the possibility of war with South Carolina, forming Carolina. He and General Carter discussed possible outcomes and war plans, preparing for the future.

The coronation of King Mason was earlier today, and it went without problems. The people love their king, and are eager to fight for him. General Carter proposed a campaign to recruit more soldiers, which King Mason agreed to.

Recruitment numbers are up, and North Carolina has the highest amount of troops it has ever had. The morale of the people is great and the kingdom is ready to unite Carolina.

President Hamilton sat in the Oval Office satisfied at the recent turn of events.
The Military-Civilian coup in DC and the Capital of Virginia was a stunning success, sending the previous corrupt US government to Bermuda in exile while Commander Hamilton of Norfolk was elected President in the newfound nation's first session of Congress.
The preservation of the old U.S. Government's legislative system proved to be a good idea, as the basis and infrastructure for such an arrangement was already in place in the form of the Capitol Building.

Now, with the broken legislatures of West Virginia and Maryland opting for peaceful annexation into the new nation, it seemed that a new era of prosperity and non-violent political positioning was on the horizon for the new seat of the US' most legitimate government so far.

Preparations were made, 8000 soldiers, 500 artillery, civilian and armored trucks, 100 tanks and 30 aircraft were readied at the Nevadian border for an invasion which would begin in seconds. No matter what Nevada was going to fall. This was the first war since the collapse of the United of America. The puny 18 008 man military of Nevada would stand no chance against the 190 000+ troop Californian war machine, the strongest in post-Union America. As the borders were stormed Californian soldiers sang "I love you, California" bravely. This may seem aggressive but this is a vital step for California's survival, in the long run at least. Nevada has deprived California of much-needed resources, keeping them for themselves rather than sharing it like the days of the 'American Era' Heavy bombing occurred on the border to make way for trucks loaded with soldiers and artillery equipment heading to the front lines of the desert battlefield. California has officially declared war of the Republic of Nevada, only peace will be made if the Hoover Dam is shared by the two nations.

California will agree to this, with the NAP being signed at Las Vegas, appropriately being named the Hoover Dam Agreement. Californian troops will withdraw from the Mojave immediately. Also the New Californian government has recently legalized incest, which may seem strange to many other states, but the government has commented it as "Restricting the civil rights of American, Californian citizens. "My Dear Friends, I am pleased to announce to the people of the Holy Deseretian Empire that the Good word of God,with My spearheading of operation Noah's Ark, will be spread to the heretical land of Nevada,we shall murder all those that refuse to bow down to the inevitable victory of our troops. Our Foes will be cast Dow to Hell and our forces will march through the garden of eden and raze the devils in our midst!"

Recently the Theodemocratic Republic of Deseret has launched an attack on Nevada, after peace was recently made. The NRC has declared war on Deseret for this reason. 10 000 soldiers, 30 tanks and 20 aircraft have been readied to cross the heat of the Mojave, and come to the aid of the Republic of Nevada. Utah's wraith will fall, before it can begin.
