Germany Declares War on Scandinavia! (CON nations only)

We hereby declare war on your nation. We have had enough of your ways of peace. We are sending 10,000 troops to invade your nation. You do not stand a chance against our armies.

Leopold finished writing the telegram that would decide the fate of the Council of Nations. He hated the CON. Leopold had spies in the Martinalandian government and several other governments around the globe that had joined the Council. The spies were trying to convince the nations that the CON were warmoungers who wanted to unite the planet under an "United Earth" and that they would kill anyone who tried to oppose them. Just then, an aside came in. She said "The invasion force is ready to cross the Danish border on your command, sir." Leopold replied "Tell the invasion force to wait until the telegram is sent. Then we will begin the war."
A few hours later...
Danish border
Florian looked out at the border post. It was lightly defended. The customs officer had gone home for his lunch break. Now was their chance. He said "Attack!" The invasion force stormed across the border and destroyed any military post in sight. The war had begun.

Christian looked at the telegram from the German leader. He knew this day would come. The customs posts on the border with Germany were lightly defended as Scandinavia had not been in a war for a hundred years. They had most likely already been overwhelemed by the invading forces. Christian tore up the telegram and rushed to tell Parliament about the news. When he arrived at the Parliament Building in the city centre (which was not far from where the Royal Palace was), Christian said "We are at war! Gather in a emergency session now!" Shocked MPs quickly stopped preparing for the annual Charity Lunch which was to take place that afternoon to attend the session. When they had all arrived, Christian said "Good morning, people of Scandinavia. Today, we were attacked by the evil Great Union of Germany in a sudden attack. They attacked us over our peaceful ways. Well, the Germans cannot decide if we are peaceful or not. We will go to war! God bless us all."

The shocked border guards quickly begun to fight back. The lead guard said "Halt! You cannot enter Scandinavia without going through me!"

General Florian was shocked by this and replied "Well, I'll walk across the border anyway." Florian crept behind the guard and stabbed him in the back. The rest of the invading force ran towards the nearest town.
Copenhagen
The city was quiet. Most people were watching the television news channels to find out about the invasion. Suddenly, 25 planes begun firing at the city. They broke through rooftops, causing them to collpase upon innocent civilians. The civilians still on the streets realised that they were German planes. The planes fired at the crowd, destroying market stalls. Once Copenhagen was in ruins, the planes fired at the bridge connecting Denmark to Sweden and destroyed it, cutting off the city from any aid from the mainland. As they were leaving, the planes destroyed the TV transmitters in the city, leaving the remaining people without any news from the outside world whatsoever.

Due to Germany being "Western Amerikanski Puppet state", Chernobyliya decided to leave some of the captured Monolith members (That were not killed yet by the government) and send them to fight the Germans, as they fight in any way possible. A message was sent, ordering the Germans to stand down otherwise their cities will burn.

Ralph Varelli was unsure whether to send aid or not. However, Maria, Michelle, and William, had all said that by aiding their ally it would prove useful if ever there were any conflicts involving Kambucha. Ralph agreed to send a reasonable amount of help. He also decide it would be in the best interest to prepare some spies to infiltrate Germany and see what events were taking place there. However that would take some time before they could sneak in.

We are also willing to try and reach out to Germany in a diplomatic way, in order to cease this contact. We are also in the process of preparing to send aid for the citizens caught in the crossfire. Our ships for sending aid will be ready in three days, and will begin their journey if you wish to have our help. If you wish for military aid, our Ships will be ready to bring our soldiers to your land in 2 weeks.

The city was in ruins. The Danish Viceroy was dead. He had been killed as well as his wife when their mansion had been bombed by the Germans. Luckily, his son was on holidays in Adevia and survived. The Scandinavian Air Force was rushed back from Finland to destroy the German planes who bombed Copenhagen. Scandinavia's CON peacekeepers were sent to help the Danes rebuild Copenhagen and restore the TV transmitters.
