This week, thousands of protesters have gathered in the Callista Capital District to decry Premier Voronkov's recent introduction of the Trent Kovska Act, declaring all vocal support to left-wing militancy illegal under penalty of citation or imprisonment. The law is named in honor of deceased Sergeant Trent Kovska, a Mallaskan army Ranger killed in action in a raid over two months ago against the Red Brotherhood, which had been previously blamed by the government for an attack against Mallaskan Army Engineers (Resulting in the deaths of all twelve) just weeks prior to the raid prompted by the incident. The act is seen by many as an attack on free speech, as well as the often-cited Mallaskan tradition of Разумное сопротивление (Reasonable Resistance), a right sanctified in the Mallaskan Constitution's Articles of Citizen Rights and Duties, justifying the citizenry the right to be legally resist the government in any act violating the general rights of the citizenry, with freedom of speech and association being among them.

While the protests primarily in Callista Capitol Square have remained peaceful for several days, recent actions by more extreme elements have forced the protests into violent riots, requiring pacification by the National Police within Callista through force. Several hundred have been reported sustaining injury following the riots, with property damage in Capitol Square cited at around thirty-two million dollars, with several streets blocked with debris and shops in the surrounding area looted. A reported forty-two people were reported killed in total in the unrest, mostly by armed shopkeepers preventing looting, often with rooftop shooters. Protesters have also made claims of police brutality, citing photos of protesters with bloodied faces and several violent arrests seen on more violent rioters. The National Police has also stated that it did deploy armored vehicles to the square, some of which filled with police Special Response Teams geared to lethally deal with rioters if necessary.

Professor Adam Solikov of the Glazkov University of Law near downtown Callista, an ardent proponent of the left-wing protestors was interviewed this morning:

"...The [Voronkov] government has violated several of the most sacred rights held to not just Mallaskans, but mankind as a whole. The government has no right to suppress the voice of the people for speaking out against the regime, and for this a denounce the Voronkov regime for this breach of human rights. The protests [in the Capitol] were justified, as the Army initiated a brutal raid that not only slaughtered many patriotic citizens of the country, but ones who only were there to escape the rising tyranny of the regime by invoking the sacred Rights of Reasonable Resistance. The only evidence we have to show that they ambushed the Army engineers is the shaky claims of the Army itself, which has grown far too powerful in this nation to be capable of such devastatingly brutal operations against our own people."

Cyril Baranov, Provincial Marshal of the Constabulary for the Greater Callista Province, has also released a statement condemning the riots and supporting the act by Premier Voronkov:

"The acts of our Premier government exist only to restore stability to the nation, as the murder of twelve Army Engineers by domestic terrorists cannot go unpunished. Army intelligence justly found the correct perpetrators to this heinous crime and as such the Army executed prompt operations to immediately prevent more unrest by this sect of the Red Brotherhood. The Red Brotherhood is by no means a legal militia, but rather a group of domestic terrorists who murder in cold blood, and as such must be met with equal ferocity. The Kovska Act only seeks prevent more citizens from supporting this band of miscreants as they grow to be an ever-large threat. We already have laws preventing the abuse of free speech from harming others in the form of inciting crime, so as such it is only natural that we extend this to banning association or support to rebel factions seeking to uproot peace."

The Department of Defense has announced that the Greater Eastern Union Army will be commencing the annual 'Northern Liberator' Exercises in Dinbalik Province, which will continue for three weeks. With about 200,000 soldiers involved in total, the 'Northern Liberator' Exercises is set to improve the combat capabilities and crisis management abilities of the Army in numerous situations, ranging from defense operations against a direct northern invasion, a direct artillery-accompanied offensive by armored and airborne units and low-intensity combat situations.

For the first time in its history, the Department of Defense has allowed the limited participation of foreign forces - namely that of the Triumvirate and allies - in the exercise, limited to the last week of the drill. If foreign forces participate in the exercise, the Army would shift its plans into performing a joint operation to increase military cooperation between the two (or more) nations.

Terrorists have attacked Chenhai's Central Business District and Capital Hill - a district given to the federal government - with this morning, killing at least 189 civilians and injuring more than 300 civilians in the area. Around 8:45 AM, the first wave of terrorists launched an attack in Chenhai's Central Business District, detonating bombs in Zhongwu Boulevard and Li Shan Convention Center, while invading an array of buildings in the vicinity, killing more than 100 civilians. Gunshots were exchanged between the terrorists and local guards; terrorists, confirmed to have been equipped with rocket launchers, they stormed onto Capital Hill on bulletproof vehicles. By 8:57 AM, they were approaching Zhongwu Palace and the Union Senate, although elements of the Capital Defense Command and the Joint Special Operations Command forced them to withdraw from Capital Hill.

Panic ensued throughout Chenhai's Central Business District, as combat ensued between elements of the Capital Defense Command and the terrorists. The terrorists have been confirmed to use an array of captured Tianese weapons, a number of Raventsvan-made weapons and other weapons looted from the international black market for arms. Special Operations Forces reported of a red and black flag - most likely the symbol of 'The Revolution', a radical international terrorist organization - among the terrorist ranks. Among the 30+ dead terrorists found by 9:30 AM, some of them had already confirmed their affiliation with 'The Revolution' while some stated themselves as 'international mercenaries'.

To the luck of Chenhai, no biological or chemical weapons have been used in the conflict: the Greater Eastern Union Defense Forces and Capital Defense Command are currently tracking the remainder of the terrorists around Chenhai, while elite counter-terrorism units have engaged in combat against remaining terrorists in the central business district. The Federal Government has declared a state of emergency throughout Chenhai and Zhongwu Province, while having raised the DEFCON level from DEFCON 4 to DEFCON 3. Premier Liu Quan is set to give an address regarding the attack this evening.

Today in the city of Ozmaniye, in north-eastern Cayir, a new medical centre was opened by President Mehmed Kundakçı. The new hospital was built with knowledge from across the world and is one of the most high tech hospitals in Cayir. The hospital is an important step forward for the Cayiri people is what the President when he opened up the hospital.

Opening the hospital is part of the governments drive to increase healthcare standards in Cayir. The President has said many times that he believes that all Cayiris have the right to a good standard of healthcare. It is also an issue he is very passionate about as he was a doctor fo 11 years before becoming a politician.

The President also announced his plans to open up the Cayiri National Medical Service (CNMS) which will provide low cost healthcare to all Cayiri's. Under the program Cayiris who earn under 140,000 Cayiri Lira would get a 75%-100% refund on all healthcare, depending on their income. The plan has been cheered by the President as a chance for a more equal Cayiri society.

With Mallaska commencing oil extraction operations off the coast of New Educandi earlier this year, agreements have been made between the Mallaskan and Educan governments regarding the commission of Mallaskan naval and air facilities in New Educandi. The lucrative contract allowing significant oil extraction in Educan waters by Mallaskan companies has been labelled a "Paramount financial and strategic asset" by Premier Voronkov, whom approved the motion to base a small permanent detachment of Mallaskan Navy and Air Force vessels and aircraft to the area. The 3rd Littoral Fleet, previously based on Emerald Island in southern Mallaska, has since been reassigned to the future port facilities.

According to Mallaskan Naval Command the Third Littoral Fleet's purpose in the new facilities will be to patrol and secure Mallaskan oil claims in region, as well as basing a small detachment of Mallaskan Marines under the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade that will serve to both provide security to port and air facilities as well as serving as a fast-reaction counterterrorist force able to deploy to Mallaskan embassies in nearby continental nations. Naval Command has also expressed interest in utilizing the facilities for use as amphibious or warm-weather training grounds in the future, citing lack of winter training grounds in homeland Mallaska.

The Mallaskan Air Force, in tandem with Navy air facilities, plans to base at least one squadron of fighter aircraft to the facilities for defense of airspace, whilst the Navy will take charge of anti-submarine warfare operations with a detachment of P-3 Orion aircraft. Lastly, the Navy has been cited as planning to attach extensive medical facilities and environmental observance centers to the port in an effort to prevent and quickly treat victims and the surrounding environment should the nearby oil rigs be struck by unlikely disaster.

Construction of joint Mallaskan air and navy facilities in the area are expected to begin construction by July, with contractors working in tandem with Marine Engineer Specialists of the Mallaskan Navy to procure materials and equipment. The Mallaskan Navy is expected to deploy the 1st Marine Engineers Battalion to oversee and assist in construction.

Celibraean/Thracian Governments Jointly Condemn NorCon Deals With Educandi

Today, the Celibraean government has condemned the actions of the Mallaskan government, acting on behalf of the Northern Confederation, in an unprecedented joint statement with the Empire of Thrace.

Citing the "brazen infringement on the Auroran sphere of influence" and the "regional monopolisation of the sale of oil" and its "exploitative implications" both Thrace and Celibrae declared the foreign presence as "unacceptable".

In a separate statement, the Celibraean government unilaterally condemned the presence of Mallaskan troops on Educandi: For hundreds of years, Educan territorial integrity has been protected by the United Kingdom, and military installations on the behalf of Celibrae include a military space launch centre and a major naval base. Defence Secretary John Bunting described the Mallaskan facilities as a "threat to national security" and an "insult".

Defence analyst Thomas Greenway from the Royal United Services Institute explained what this meant for Celibraean security:

"This base, in effect, gives the NorCon a platform from which to spy on highly secretive Celibraean military projects at the Churchill Military Space Launch Center, and to a lesser degree Celibraean fleet movements, but it also means that the NorCon can vastly increase the range and sustainability of expeditionary military operations, in Aurora and beyond. It also suggests that the NorCon perceive the oil platforms as 'strategic resources', which combined with their agreement not to sell to Auroran states, would suggest a contempt for would-be partners in the Auroran region. The NorCon, for example, do not trust Celibrae to protect their property in Educan territory. This does not bode well for Celibraean interests."

Premier Liu Quan made an international announcement today on behalf the Government of the Greater Eastern Union, regarding the recent diplomatic conflict in New Educandi, and has condemned the Mallaskan Government and the Northern Confederation for their actions in the area. Declaring Mallaskan and Confederation activity in Educandi "a clear infringement of a nation's sovereignty", the Premier also demanded the withdrawal of Mallaskan forces from Educandian soil and "leave alone the nation and its assets free for the nation".

"The Mallaskan Government, alongside the Northern Confederation, is violating the very principles upon which a nation stands," declared the Premier in his speech today. "The limits of the military presence they have assured to exert upon the island nation remains enough for them to flex their forces against the assets of Tiandao and its allies and to threaten the freedom of Educandi. By proclaiming security and peace, they have perfectly gone against what they have alleged to protect; rather than standing alongside the values they have promised, they have instead decided to destabilize the economy of the vicinity, and have created a major foothold towards an expansive, offensive and destabilizing move against the world."

"The presence of the Northern Confederation in the region threatens the stability kept in Aurora, as Educan soil is utilized as a foothold for destabilization. If we tolerate this act to proceed in the Allonian Ocean, there is no way we can guarantee they will not do the same in the Pacific, which, by then, will be an explicit threat to the very survival of the Greater Eastern Union. And hereby, I announce that the Greater Eastern Union stands with its allies of the Triumvirate and the Auroran Community; we demand that Mallaska and the Northern Confederation abolish the deal and move out, for the sovereignty and safety of Educandi and Aurora."

The announcement was received with mixed responses from both the Greater Eastern Union and from abroad: although some protested against the acts of the Government and the Triumvirate, many citizens of the Greater Eastern Union stood along the position of the government. Triumvirate member state delegates have expressed positive responses regarding the Tianese move, with some radical representatives calling for stronger responses on behalf the Triumvirate itself. The Mallaskan Embassy and other embassies of the Northern Confederation in Chenhai are yet to give a response.

Earlier today after many hours of debate the Senate officially declared it's willingness to place sanctions against the import of oil from the Northern Confederation. In a rare open letter to the world from the Senate Majority leader and with expressed support from Minority leader, Hijjmayan legislators had this to say;
"We as a nation can not sit idly by and allow foreign intranational organizations to abuse the resources of a sovereign nation for their own strategic purposes. We have passed measures that grant President Collins in advance. The ability to levy sanctions against NorCon, until such a time that they cease the exploitation of Educan resources."

Ooc- the measures passed by the Senate give the President full authority to place, hold, and edit sanctions against NorCon. These sanctions are only to be removed by the Senate when it deems the situation appropriately resoved.

Prime Minister Louis Thorsson issued a statment in regards to the Northern Confederation building a small naval facility in New Educandi to protect it's oil interests there. NorCon recently made a deal with the small island nation to extract oil in the region, as a result of new Educandi's small island military forces being unable to protect oil platforms and ships, NorCon recently began construction of a naval base to do so. PM Thorsson released this statment:

"While we agree with our Auroran friends that this is a direct incursion in our collective sphere of influence, I do believe there is a middle ground here. The base ensures that oil that is mainly headed towards our nations arrives here unopposed. The base itself would not and could not host some sort of naval invasion like we saw in the Second World War. It rather would host part of NorCon's fleet to ensure that the oil remains safe. While I do condemn the rather swift fall of Educan influence over their own oil, NorCon, and Mallaska in particular are major exporters of oil not only to us, but Aurora as well. I respect the deal as it was signed by both parties, but do wish it was written with the other nation's it would and has impacted in mind. NorCon remains a great ally to Kathia, as does our fellow Auroran Community nations. I with our nation and their nations remain on good terms through out this issue, even if I and others feel as it has been blown a bit out of proportion."

"If this Principality wishes to remain close with Aurora, then this deal must end and the Mallaskans must be expelled!" Said Consul Lloyd Mariner, leader of the Liberal Federalists. His parties position was that Educandi's relations with Aurora must not be forfeit, a position that the Conservative Unionists did not oppose- under one condition.
"If Aurora wants to have a say in our policy, then they must give us a say in Auroran general policy. Thus far we have not been included in their processes or their community of nations. If they wish to have further sway over us, and what we do with our territory, then this must change." said Cornelius Chanderbuilt, Chamber Leader of the CEU.

Today, after many months in isolation, Revter Trochev visited the Kathmanduan capital of Ravonne as a sign of national friendship, and to exchange gifts between the two leaders. There is to be a state dinner later on and Trochev will be staying in the country for a week for reasons that are currently unknown, but speculation suggest that it will be about arms trading and manufacturing.

So far that is all the information at the moment, Chancellor Trochev has recently been criticized for his silence to the international community, many civil rights organisations are alarmed that Trochev has been detaining any that question the well being of his citizens. One of his generals was recently shot for insulting Trochev on his policies. When journalist attempted to question him when he arrived in Ravonne one of his guards punched one journalist whilst the other guards intimidated other journalist.

Just days after Chancellor Trochev left to Ravonne, the citizens of Grothbord took the opportunity to stage large scale riots across the nation, estimates of the amounts of rioters range from forty million to sixty million citizens nationwide. Despite the recent free speech crackdowns these riots were the largest in Grothbordian history. From anarchist to democratic reformers, the protest was still a united front against the Trochev Regime. Crowds at the capitol chanted "Death to the tyrant!", this provoked the Interior Guards to step in and begin to beat down rioters, some sustained grave injuries and an unknown amount was killed in the capitol.

Well known democratic opposition leader, Hermann Hoth, who is currently exiled in Kathmandue, praised the riots and went as far to call for the removal of Trochev from the Chancellery, he had this to say, "The international community have no clue how cruel Trochev is, how his regime has killed thousands that dare speak out against him, that monster had my family executed just because I criticized his regime and continue to support democratic movements within my home of Grothbord. No man should have such power, Trochev is the devil reincarnate, Trochev must be removed at once, he has no place in our modern society."

Chancellor Trochev has yet to speak out about the protest in his country.

Failed Military Coup in Grothbord, civil war erupts.

Today at 3:43 AM, An organization under the name of the Free Forces of Grothbord (FKG) led by General, Joachim Helsung announced a military takeover of Grothbord, proclaiming that his forces and co-conspirators are for the people and willing to reinstall a true democracy in Grothbord. Military vehicles such as tanks and regular infantry poured into the capitol, gaining control and initiating a blockade of the city.
About a hour after the initial proclamation, Revter Trochev was spotted along with his personal bodyguards, boarding a plane to leave Kathmandue.
At 5:27 civilian resistance began to assault the FKG forces after the military fired upon the crowd and even began to arm themselves with military weaponry against the FKG. Many of the soldiers simply switched allegiances began to help arm civilians as well to help free the city.
Not long after, the FKG announced that they had gained control of the northern parts of the country and a handful of major roads to restrict travel.
Revter Trochev landed in Grothbord at 6:45 and ordered the remaining military and citizens that was loyal to him to retake the capitol. Trochev set up a base of operations in a secluded loyal military base.

Around the same time, Democratic leader, Hermann Hoth, who somehow made it back into the country, announced a revolution against the Trochev regime and that they had gained complete control of the center of the nation and the South east, with pockets of support scattered across the country.
Just thirty minutes after, the underground communist society of the Rote Volksfront declared a revolt of their own, gaining control of much of the western regions of the country.
The Monarchist League, ran by the elite of the nation, bribed local officials to pledge allegiance to their self proclaimed rightful heir to the long dead Grothbordian Empire, Kaiser Maximilian von Reismov. And seemingly in accordance of the monarchist uprising, the Anarchist took power in regions bordering the monarchist to directly challenge them, further information is not known about the Anarchist yet.

If it seemed it couldn't get any worse, the guerilla movement of the Armé Libre Kathiş, otherwise known as the Kathic Liberation Army, (ALK). They took military control of the most southern parts of the nation that are predominantly of the Kathic culture, they are led by Jean Marraine. But a sub-culture of Grothbord known as Laçians united with the ALK but do not wish to join Kathmandue but instead set up an independent nation of their own.

In a press statment released just a bit ago, Prime Minister Louis Thorsson announced that he will station 60,000 men to secure the Kathic Northern Border after Grothbord ripped at the seams into Civil War. Troops have not crossed the border, but Thorsson made it clear that they will eventually secure the Predominatly Kathic area of Southern Grothbord (known is Kathis as Haut Caïs and Haut Laçia) within the next week. It is unknown if troops would push further into Grothbord. Prime Minister Thorsson said that the number of men may tally as high was 100,000 men on the border in order to secure it from the factions to the north. Thorsson has said he supports the Trochev Government but also supports the ALK in their attempts to unify with Kathia. He made it clear that this should not alarm the Kathic People, and that the Military is more than capable of suppressing any incision into Kathia.

After Protests from the Opposition, Generals from the Grothbordian Military attempted a Coup and failed, but maintain large portions of land. Other factions are now veying for control or at least a large upperhand in the Civil War. Violence was almost immediate, with Thorsson having been reported as being aware that it was beginning around 4 AM.

In a televised speech delivered by the Gatiton Black Army early this morning, foreign representative of the Alliance of Greater Gatito, Nyazik Mergen, announced that both the AGG and the Gatiton division of the Black Army will be unilaterally supporting the anarchist faction in the developing Grothbordian civil struggle. Mergen failed to address if the AGG played any role in the development of the anarchist faction, however he did indicate that the Black Army will attempt to support them militarily.

Mergen specifically indicated the monarchists as the enemy of the current struggle, stating that they must be destroyed at all costs, and only the anarchists can topple the ancient remnants of the archaic system of regime.

In his traditionally gusto-filed style, Mergen brought one of his guns to the speech as a way to show the intimidating might of anarchists worldwide.

After a lengthy briefing with Mallaskan Security Council advisers, Premier Voronkov has announced earlier today that the Mallaskan government for the time being will vocally support and recognize the divergent military faction of Grothbord in the quickly-growing civil war. The extent of Mallaskan support to be provided to the Military is unknown, but opponents accuse the Premier of supporting state-sponsored arms trafficking, with Mallaskan illicit practices under scrutiny despite no smuggling operations directly being linked to the Mallaskan government. Topsailian President Willem van Dijk made an official statement today supporting the Democrats in the Grothbordian Civil War, and in the statement he also announced that the Topsailian Air Force would be launching limited air strikes in Grothbord. The airstrikes will be against military targets in the Anarchist and Communist controlled sections. In the statement, van Dijk said, "These radical factions wish to turn Grothbord into a radical, anti-western state in the image of Minsmar or Thynia and we cannot let that happen. We will give military resources to the Democrats to fight the radicals, and we will use limited military force to deal with these radicals once and for all."

The first air strike occured about 35 minutes ago, when a Topsailian F-16 dropped a 500 kg JDAM on a Communist military formation. More airstrikes are certain to come.

Penania announces aid for Grothbrod

Bukit Singa - Recently civil war broke out in Grothbord, and while various other nations have sided one faction or the other, Penania remains firmly neutral and have announced that they will not side with any factions in Grothbord. Instead, the Penanian government have decided to focus on another issue, which is the helplessness of the Grothbordian people. "The government of Penania will not abandon helpless people", announced the Prime Minister. Thus, the Prime Minister has announced a 5.5 billion Pinang aid package to Grothbord. This aid package will be used in food, water, medicine, and other necessities for the Grothbordian people. This is particularly important for the Penanian government, as no other nations are willing to help them. The Prime Minister also urged other nations to contribute to this aid package, so that more people would not starve in the streets.

Besides that, the Penanian government have also announced that any Grothbordian seeking asylum in Penania will be granted asylum. "As a strictly neutral country, we will not take sides and will treat everyone equally", the Prime Minister announced. This includes the embattled leader Revter Trochev, whom will be granted a Penanian diplomatic passport should he come to Penania, so that he can escape persecution should he have any legal difficulties in another country. The country will also accept any refugees from Grothbrod that make it to Penanian soil.

In a separate news, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have announced that they are withdrawing any non essential staff from the Penanian Embassy in Grothbord, but they will keep the embassy open. This is because the embassy will act as a medium of communication between the Penanian government in Bukit Singa and the various factions in Grothbord. This will help Penania to distribute aid to the affected without being involved in the war. Besides that, the embassy will also act as a processing centre for people seeking refuge or asylum in Penania. The country have also send the coordinates of the places where aid will be distributed to all nations and factions involved in the war in hopes that they will not be harmed. The Penanian government have also requested all factions and nations to respect Penanian neutrality, and request other nations to help protect Penanian neutrality, even if that means that they will have to use force. The Penanian Special Ops will also be stationed in the Penanian Embassy in Grothbord, but they will not be deployed unless it is absolutely necessary.

At around noon today, the Black Army released a video from its official press office stating the intention of the Black Army to enter into Grothbord to support the anarchist faction in the civil war. The government of Kathmanude agreed to allow Black Army soldiers to fly into their country from Gatito, receive training within Kathic borders, and to enter into the combat through the southern border of Grothbord.

The video also announced that the Black Army will be taking in recruits from around the world who wish to support the anarchist faction in the civil war.

"We will be entering into Grothbord to support our brothers and sisters in their struggle for liberation. We will also be allying ourselves with our Kathic comrades as they struggle for the right to self-determination," stated the unidentified speaker in the video. "Furthermore, we will be announcing the creation of an international brigade of foreign fighters. Anybody who wishes to fight for the freedom of the Grothbordian people and the Kathic minorities within is invited to join us.

Premier Voronkov has called out to the international community to stand against ousted Grothbordian head of state Revter Trochev, accusing him of war crimes and suppressing his fellow countrymen during his regime. Some call the act "A blatant and fictitious example of Mallaskan propaganda", as stated by the Grothbordian ambassador to Mallaska in a meeting at the Grothbordian embassy in Callista.

"Trochev has violently denied basic freedoms to his citizens during his regime, a crime of the ihghest degree. Chancellor Revter Trochev announced from his Palace in the capitol that government forces launched a major offensive against the FKG military in the north. Mainly targeting General Joachim Helsungs front, and attempting to cut off Tesch's southern forces and reconnect loyalist territory.

The Topsailian Government made two shocking announces today. The first was the sale of 50 AT-7D Marauders to Democratic forces. The aircraft were bought by the Topsailian Ministry of Agriculture last week for crop dusting duties, however were sold to the Democrats for 1/4th of their buying cost. These aircraft are capable ground-attack aircraft, and will bolster the Democratic Front's weak air force. They will be delivered in the next few days.

The other shocking event was the announcement that Topzeil will be signing an alliance with the Anarchic Front. The Anarchists signed an alliance with the Democrats, and have denounced the Communist front. This comes just hours after President Van Dijk's statement calling the Anarchists as an "extremist group". However, the deal will prevent the Communists from gaining any ground and will also help the Democrats against the mobilizing Loyalist and Military Forces in the north. Topsailian airstrikes have continued against the Communists, with three more targets being bombed since our earlier report. It is looking bright for the Democrats and the Anarchists, who now have two major Auroran nations on their side.

Sentinel Private Security Concern CEO Sullivan Skol has announced that Malaska's largest and most controversial private military contracting company has accepted a "Major contract" for operations on behalf of Grothbordian dissenting military general Wilhelm Tesch. According to the CEO, the brigade-sized force has been commissioned to provide logistical support and training to the general's forces as well as military-aligned militias and new conscripts. However, it has been reported that the company has already had operatives in the area assisting in smuggling arms to military forces in the area.

The CEO has stated that there are now combatant Sentinel operatives to be authorized to engage government forces in the region, emphasizing the employment of guerilla tactics by the Mallaskan mercenaries. General Tesch has declined comment on the mercenary's operating under his command, except that they will be assisting on the front lines against the recent push by government forces against General Helsung's forces. He has expressed confidence in the defense, citing new armaments and expertise provided by the mercenaries. General Tesch has pushed for a troop surge of conscripts in the area, calling for "True patriots in a time of great challenge, to stand against the dogs of the tyrant.", reportedly these conscripts are being armed and trained by Sentinel advisers under the contract.

The recent advance of loyalist forces against General Helsung has stressed the situation, with superior loyalist forces pushing back the thin line of military forces. General Tesch has reportedly employed his men to assist General Helsung, stating to media that should his forces be cut off then it would spell doom to the military faction in the south. In calculated guerilla attacks he hopes to sever loyalist supply lines whilst his men attempt to break the advance, emboldened by receiving regular shipments of armaments supplied from Mallaska.

Senior Grothbordian Generals Dead In Bomb Attack, Reports Celibraean Foreign Office

The Foreign Office of the United Kingdom released evidence earlier today which suggested that a terrorist attack had killed the majority of the senior leadership of the military faction in the ongoing Grothbordian civil war. Field Marshalls Joachim Helsung, Franz Halt and Yusuf Borrman were reported dead, whilst, notably, Field Marshall Wilhelm Tesch was said to have been late to the meeting and remained unharmed.

The attack has given rise to much speculation, but several analysts are currently suggesting that it was an inside job orchestrated by loyalist spies.

Frederick Thomas, of the Institute for Strategic Studies, had the following to say:

"It seems very likely that the loyalists were behind this: It is coincidental with their ongoing offensive and it is likely an attempt to tip the scales in their favour. Killing the senior leadership would lead to a major disruption of the military faction's command and control functions and therefore their ability to resist."

The reports are difficult to verify, owing to a shortfall of robust and independent media coverage in the embattled country. On a related note, it is said that the CBC has been guaranteed safe passage throughout military and democratic faction-controlled territory.

Otherwise, the Celibraean government has stated that it is "closely monitoring" the "developments" in Grothbord, though it has yet to officially back a particular faction. Similarly, neither the Hijjmayan or Tianese governments have given comment thus far, and it is assumed that the Triumvirate are currently working on a joint response to the conflict.
