Population: 98 billion
Short History: During the first 50 years of the universal century, Russia, then a part of the Earth Federation decided to invest heavily in colonization, the Russians in cooperation with the Germans, Syrians, Turks and Japanese built two colonies complete with fertile soil and steppe like landscape.
After the establishment of the two colonies, the Russians with the support of their newly found allies constructed another colony that will function as a food supply, the newly found agricultural colony; Zhall was settled by Hungarian & Syrian herders and farmers, things were going well for the Russians at first but when Eastern Europe experienced a sudden population growth demands grew, especially on Zhall yet the Zhallian could not handle the pressure that was put on them and as a result a revolt insued by the year U.C. 0068, the Russians with the support of their allies signed and formed the Neu Prague Alliance comprised of Eastern Europe, Turkey, Syria and Japan. Shortly after the unrecognized Republic of Hungarian-Zhall was formed in the northern parts of Zhall The Neu Pargue Alliance with the help the Federation crushed the rebellion, and to meet the demands of their colonies and prevent another revolt, they organized the Novirossyan Republic which included 4 colonies: Zhall, Troy, Macedonia and New Novgorod. They republic while officialy independent, had little to no autonomy.
During the collapse of earth, Novirossyan seized the opportunity to gain freedom form the Federation, and in a quick move General Argo Baroyavić staged a coup and overthrew the current government in Novirossya. And while the vanguard fleet where busy fighting at Side 3 and Side 6, Novirossya fell into a bloody 5 month civil war, but the patriots led by Baroyavić won and installed a new government which united all of Side 1 in the year U.C. 0090, then he went on reform the military and after this Baroyavić launched what he called a crusade to rid space of federation troopes, in the following stages he helped Zeonic forces in battle.
Recently Novirossya has invaded and conquered The South Balkans which as of now is under military rule.

the Timeline we're using is the After Zero timeline . Space colony Zero One was the capital of the Earth Union and its destruction is seen as the point at which the Earth Union could no longer maintain maintain control of the Earth Sphere nor regain it . Or we could use the After Collapse timeline
