NOTICE: By reading the following document without proper clearance you are committing an international felony and may be sentenced to death.

The fully classified purchase of military equipment from the Serrian Archipelago has been successful.

The monetary transfer was successfully completed on the first of this month.

Shipment began the day following.

After seven days travelling by ocean, the shipment arrived on a cargo ship into a KBN airport and naval base.

The supplies were unloaded and the cargo ship was sent back to the Serrian Archipelago.

They were then, along with additional military and miscellaneous surplus equipment, loaded onto nine of twelve craft.

All craft have left port and are en route to the destination.

Off the Northwest coast of Suroig

A dozen Blorbik fishing trawlers move lazily across the deep, royal blue water, just barely outside of the Dolphiland Exclusive Economic Zone. In mere hours, a severe tropical storm would pass this area. The captain of one ship began to use the trawler's communications radio to contact the Royal Dolphik Coast Guard,

"Hello? Do you copy?"

"We copy. State your business."

"I am the captain of boat 1 of the Blorbik State Trawler Recommissionment Program Fleet. We were previously uninformed of the severe tropical storm heading in this direction. This program attempts to re-use old fishing trawlers, in order to increase efficiency, and we are worried these ships may not be able to withstand the storm, and request permission to dock in a Dolphiland port and wait out the storm."

The operator was silent for a while, "...Granted. But you only have permission to remain in Dolphiland without clearance from customs for the duration of the storm."

"Yes. But... something you should know, these old boats have only low powered communications and the storm may hinder our ability to contact you, and occasionally they have been known to even be blown off by the wind. The very heavy rains also may be able to force their way into the electronics and temporarily disable communications. Their rudders and engines are also somewhat weak so the wind may blow us off course, so its possible it will take a while to reach a dock or that we will not go to the dock that is nearest."

The operator spoke again after a moment of silence, "Why are these ships still being used?"

"So they wouldn't go to waste."

Communications were disabled, and another Blorbik, who had been on the bridge listening to the conversation, addressed the captain, "Our ships aren't really that bad, right?"

"No! No, no, no no. That's just an excuse so we can avoid being tracked."

"Does Dolphiland not have coastal radar?"

"They do, but not very much in this part of Suroig, and most of it is intended to track movements from Sellen, primarily through the air and not navally. What they do have is outdated and underfunded, so the storm might block it from seeing us anyway. Regardless, its mostly a moot point as the resistance in Suroig is going to be sabotaging power lines to the stations once the storm hits. Everyone will assume it was just the wind. And, even then, if we do get spotted beaching, we can probably unload all of our non-fishing cargo before they arrive."

"Won't it be suspiscious if all twelve go off the radar?"

"Yes, it would, and thats why three of them aren't going to. They'll make it to the dock, and if the Dolphiks search the boats they won't find anything, because there is nothing to find on them. All three of them are empty of everything but fish and fishing supplies."

"And, the Blorbik State Trawler Recommissionment Program, that isn't an actual program, correct?"

"Oh of course not. We wouldn't purposefully use ships that dangerous, and it certainly wouldn't be state owned. Publicly, however, it is a real program, though its almost certainly going to be cancelled as soon as we finish this operation, as the KBN would have no more use for it, and after this its likely the media would look into the program and might realize that its a KBN coverup if we don't cancel immediately."

"Why was none of this information in the provided dossier?"

"Those dossiers are just there to tell you as much information as you needed to know. The whole operation would be ruined if any of this at all was leaked, even if accidentally in casual conversation, so they only told you the bare minimum that was necessary. I'm only even allowed to tell you this now because the operation is underway, I was barred from disseminating anything to anyone beforehand."

The twelve trawlers slowly began their turn, and moved east towards the coast. The tropical storm, moving west, hit the mainland of Suroig first. Under this cover, the handful of carefully co-ordinated sabotages to power lines were carried out. One of the targeted radar stations happened to have an automatic backup power generator, however as luck would have it was aimed in the path that the three innocent trawlers would take to a port city and could not be actuated during the storm without risking severe and possibly totally destructive damage.

As time went on, and the Blorbik ships headed for the coast, the storm neared. Heavy rain pounded the decks of the ships, but they persevered. The three continued on their path, while the other nine diverted course to the sandy beaches of west Suroig.

The coast guard, having lost radio sight with the other nine, attempted communications, "Blorbik State Trawler Recommissionment Program Fleet, we have lost power to our automated coastal radar stations and can no longer monitor your status. Are conditions nominal?"

The captain of the first ship replied, "The storm seems to have broken off the radio antennas of all the other ships, or at the very least disabled them, we cannot achieve contact by radio ourselves. The ships themselves are safe and intact though. Most of us are likely going to have to dock at a different port, this damn wind is pushing us to th—" The captain shut off the radio abruptly, and did not reply to subsequent attempts to regain contact. Hopefully the Dolphiks would assume the communications had been disabled by the storm.

Finally, the nine ships made it the remaining distance to the coast. The first and second ships of the fleet landed near to each other, within easy viewing distance, where a group of the underground People's Front of Suroig resistance movement had already prepared to quickly unload the cargo and leave as fast as they arrived. The ship arrived, and secured part of the boat into the sand of the beach, along with dropping the probably inadequately small anchor. The Dolphiks then immediately got to action, speeding into the ship and unloading the internal parts of the ship that was filled almost to the brim with military equipment, with the rest of the space reserved for some of the cargo that such a boat would normally carry, like fish and equipment.

The crates and vehicles they were unloading did not, however, come from Blorbs, or even have any known trace with Blorbs at all. All of the equipment that the People's Front of Suroig would soon be using had been sourced, secretly, from all around the world, over a fairly long period of time. They had been acquired, some illegally, and others legally like through a very large classified trade with the Serrian Archipelago, and were manufactured in lots of countries like Kerthenia, Barkadia, Kolonia, the ROZ, Dolphiland itself, Anderia, Kracsis, many from the Serrian Archipelago, and even a small handful from Blorbs, as a complete lack would likely be more suspicious than merely a small number.

"Are you sure you're secured enough?" The captain of the first ship said to the second. The second ship, beyond the anchor, was only secured with the bottom of the ship lightly touching the sand, and nothing more.

"Yes, we're fine, we need to get out of here eventually, so we can't just fully run aground."

"Yes, but, we wouldn't want to lose you all, Polenka..."

"Oh, I thank you but you don't have to worry for us. We'll be just fine."

"If you say so."

The Suroig Revolutionaries unloaded the last of the cargo from the first ship, three Serrian AMLIS batteries, and Fifteen Million Dolphik Pounds in sequential unmarked bills, and then hastily left the area as those from the second ship had done just before, leaving their craft free of any of the illegal goods . The captain and KBN agent from before stood out on the deck, and the captain began to speak,

"This is some tropical storm, huh?"

"Yeah... seems a bit too strong for one, no? Maybe its been upgraded from a tropical storm to a full hurricane?"

"How should I know? The damn storm is blocking all of our satellite internet."

"Brace yourself!"

An extremely large wave crashes into the ship with a great clap, shaking everything around but causing no damage and leaving the ship stationary.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm not the one you should be worrying about! дяғғ! Their ship!"

The second ship, the wave just now reaching them, moves with a jerk as the lightly touching bottom is lifted up and the chain of the anchor snaps. It floats up slightly and tilts heavily right towards the coast, until rapidly teetering back in the other direction, when the water starts to pull back offshore with great force, exemplifying the tilt to the left and causing the entire (unsafely top-heavy) ship to capsize and then with great momentum continue rolling until managing to get upside down, stood on the sand, when the water moves back in another large wave, knocking the incredibly precariously balancing ship over, hitting the water again on its left side with an extremely loud crash, at which point it stays capsized and gets pulled out into deeper water and slowly starts to sink.

"Should we—should we do something? Send a rescue boat?"

"It'd never survive these waves! And besides, you saw how hard they crashed, if anyone survived they'd surely be unconscious. No, I'm afraid... they're gone. But we'd better get inside, I'm sure our Polenka would have rather we save ourselves than fatally futilely try and save them."

They all stayed inside, and none of the eight surviving ships were harmed. There were no survivors from the second ship (The initial crashing back and forth killed everyone inside), and all of the ships on the beach were found by Dolphik search and rescue when the storm started to calm. The ships were all searched with no suspicion from the Dolphiks who respectfully and obliviously instructed them to exit Dolphik waters. They then all sailed directly back to Blorbs without a hitch, where the "Blorbik State Trawler Recommissionment Program" was cancelled to the public, with all of the large shipment of military equipment successfully, and with full confidentially, transferred. Despite the tragic loss of nine KBN agents of various rank, the operation was closed and deemed a total success.

Good morning, evening, or whatever time it is wherever you are, and welcome to this week's DNN Weekly News report! Today's
article covers the latest and most important news from this past week, including Hurricane Bismarck, the launch of STS 117, and other
top stories from both within Dolfikland and around the globe.

SPACE
SPACE SHUTTLE ATLANTIS EMBARKS ON STS-117

On the 13th Space Shuttle Adventure successfully lifted off from Pad 3A at Muskovo Space Centre, and has succesfully entered
a 400km orbit around the planet Kerbin, it's mission is to deploy Constellation, a space probe which will fly by the near-Kerbin asteroid
R2D2-42 Dawn, which flew past Kerbin in 1998 within the orbit of the Mun.

Whilst another encounter as close as the one in 1998 is not expected to occur until 2218, the mission is still expected to gather a wealth of
scientific info about the asteroid, such as it's mass, composition, and other key data about it which could prove useful in future space
exploration activities, such as large-scale asteroid mining, it is estimated that asteroids could potentially contain trillions of dollars worth
of minerals and resources, which could prove useful in future large-scale colonization of the Kerbol system.

Additionally Adventurer is carrying a fleet of small communications and research satellites, the latter of which have been donated by various
schools and universities as part of the Pioneer project initiated by the DNSA, which aims to provide the public a way to conduct scientific
experiments in low Kerbin orbit and aid in space research and exploration by assembling "cubesats", which are small, cube shaped satellites
often constructed from relatively simple hardware, to be launched as a secondary payload on DNSA space exploration missions. Adventurer
is expected to remain in orbit for 11 days, during which the crew will deploy the aforementioned satellites, and conduct a variety of
experiments in zero-g during that time before returning on the 24th.

POLITICS
SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC-CENTRIST COALITION GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCED

The Social Democratic and Centrist parties have recently announced, after weeks of political debate, that they will be forming
a coalition government following the January elections, whilst neither of them hold a majority, combined they possess 312 of the 538
seats in parliament, greater than all the other political parties combined, thus securing the new coalition a majority in Parliament. One
of their primary stated goals is to cooperate against the various "radical" parties who won seats during the recent election, such as the
Nationalist Party.

Tim Kerman, leader of the Social Democratic Party and Prime Minister ever since the Social Democratic victory in the 2016 elections, will
remain Prime Minister of the Kingsrike. It is currently unknown what stance this new coalition will take in international affairs, although
there have been talks of adopting a more isolationist stance in the face of the increasingly volatile situation of global politics, especially
amongst the left-wing nations.

WEATHER
HURRICANE BISMARCK MAKES LANDFALL

In the weather, tropical storm Bismarck, which formed from a tropical depression southeast of Blorbs on Wednesday, has been
upgraded to a Hurricane, and has made landfall in Suroig and North Muskovo, causing large amounts of damage in the region, thus far
extensive damage has been reported to coastal infrastructure such as power lines and road links, aswell as to coastal communities.

Contact was briefly lost with several ships of a Blorbik fishing fleet in the area, who were later found sheltering along the coast of Suroig,
with atleast one of their vessels having been sunk with all hands lost by the storm, two Dolfik yachts who left port on the 13th were also
reported missing, and the coast guard and navy are currently conducting a search in the area of their last reported position.

Whilst coastal areas were evacuated, some coastal communities were not evacuated in time, and atleast 7 people are believed to have been
killed by the storm, including a family of 3 who were killed when a large tree was knocked over by the winds, crushing their home, local
law enforcement and military forces are currently conducting a search and rescue operation for all persons reported missing in the
aftermath in the storm, and disaster reliefaid is already being sent to the affected areas by both the Dolfik government and the international
community.

The map was sprawled on Marcus Wilders' desk. Though small advances had been made in the mountains, the CPR was slowly being pushed back by the NDE. However, guerrilla operations had been hurting the NDE supply, giving the CPR more time and stalling the advancing troops. With the donated Fairan arms, he should be capable of equipping enough moderately-trained troops to halt the advance and dig in. A messenger rushed in, carrying a telegram from the front.

1300, 7/2/18, URGENT MESSAGE

Recent capture of a storage bunker discovered old government O-75 missile stockpile, compatible with H-6's launchpad, as well as toxic gas stores.
Counterattack possible, advise evacuating supplies immediately. O-75 missile is inaccurate, not recommended for tactical use. Improvements can be
made to partially increase accuracy to hit industrial centers. Request reinforcements and transports to remove weapons.

Marcus' smile grew. "Get those missiles to Huskaria ASAP. Bring me someone with good knowledge of that missile. I have some special plans for them." The messenger ran out of the room, ready to relay the commands. Marcus knew he could bring the war to a close far earlier than he thought.

Huskaria Plaza, site of the revolution, 1200, February 12th, 2018

The plaza was crowded, all waiting for Marcus Wilders to make a speech. Wilders walked up to the podium, with the banner of the CPR flying on both sides of the stage. "My fellow workers! We have been slowed, but the revolution marches on into Doxia. Their filthy imperialist 'government' oppresses its people yet they blindly follow it, not knowing of the glories in our nation. The rationing is only temporary, to make sure our soldiers are fully supplied and crush the southern menace. Yet some of the people in the south will not realize the glory of our great union, and from this, they are nonredeemable. If we leave this evil in our country, then it will simply rise again. We mustn't be lax on these evildoers. We shall show them the fault in their ways!" The audience appeared confused, some clapping, while others booed, and the majority staying silent. Several of the opposers began fights with the vehement supporters. Marcus walked away, wondering why his astute points were met with such mixed reception, but the plan would go on anyways.

H-6 Military Base, Outskirts of Huskaria, 1400, February 12th, 2018

Randal Kerman couldn't believe what he was about to do. The missiles had been assembled in the base over the past few days, being substantially modified from the original version, with improved accuracy and a new payload: Toxic gas canisters. The experimental system would deploy airbrakes, then release several canisters before impact, where they would puncture and leak the fumes around the area. But the main issue was the target: Central Terinio. The brass had selected the town due to the lack of ABM defenses, and the closest AMLIS was near Sternia, which would be unable to fire on the missiles as they passed over. But he supposed that the ends justify the means, and this was necessary to secure the revolution. The officer readied himself. "Fire in 3, 2, 1, Launch!" A thunderous roar was heard throughout the city, as the missiles ignited and began their move towards the target.

Terinio, 1404, February 12th, 2018

Life had been simple in Terinio. The city had been far from the frontline, meaning the only difference to it's citizens was the rationing, and the occasional military convoy moving through the streets, usually met with cheers and flowers from the nationalistic populace. Workers were excited to get out of their cubicles in a few hours, children sat in classrooms, learning basic algebra, and the elderly watched their soap operas in peace, reminiscing about the old times. However, everything stopped when the first began to spot the missiles speeding towards the defenseless city. Many screamed and began to cry, some began to pray, and others were simply paralyzed. For the CPR, everything worked perfectly. The airbrakes slowed the rocket enough to allow the canisters to impact at safe speed, crashing through buildings and into streets. The creation of chemical weapons by the old government had been scrubbed from the books, so the Doxians had never expected such brutality, meaning gas masks had not been distributed. The timed delay on the release and the colorless gas meant that those that inspected them were the first afflicted, and the gas quickly spread through the densely populated buildings.

Royal Chamber, Doxia, 1420, February 12th, 2018

Brady Michael was having a good meeting with the emperor. His ideas had his approval, and he was preparing to leave when the doors burst open and an aide ran towards the two. Norman bellowed, "You were not invited! How dare you disgrace your majesty like this!" The aide took a knee. "I am sorry my lord, but I have news of urgent importance to bring our greatness." Brady snatched the paper out of the aide's hand, and dismissed him. He walked to Norman, but abruptly stopped when he read the first paragraph. "No-no, they couldn't have. This is EVIL! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED FROM THOSE GODLESS CRETINS!" Michael handed it to the emperor, who read with disgusted awe. "This is an outrage! We must display this to the world and show them the evil they have committed, and bring an end to their shoddy state!" Michael nodded. "It's doubtful the CPR fully supports this, no matter how evil they are. We must wait and watch their reaction. Meanwhile, we shall publish this to the world!"

The soldiers stood at the entryway to the region assembly chamber. They could hear the speech occurring inside, the familiar voice of the insane old man. A countoff was done on the radio, and then they burst in, guns ready, prepared to save the CPR. "Put your hands in the air! We don't want this to be bloodier than needed!" The few guards, noticing that they were completely outgunned, surrendered their weapons. But the troops all noticed what was wrong. Wilders wasn't there. "Where is that damned man!" Colonel Atenius shouted while entering. One of the attendees spoke up, "He had to leave for the capital overnight. We were only told that he wasn't giving the speech in person when we noticed he was gone." Atenius cursed. "How could we have been so stupid! Well, Wilders, I suppose you know now. Your tyrannical rule must come to an end, easily or not. With this motion, I declare the Democratic People's Front as the new true sovereign rulers of Corgelia. Count your blessings, you old monster. You. Will. Be. Defeated."

2 F4VC engine cores have been delivered from the Ephemera design for experimentation and testing of variable cycle engines. 
One core was provided without other componentry whereas the other arrived with all componentry attached.

STREAM engine core specifications have been partially met.
Of those listed, using the initial core design, a multilevel reheater has been constructed and 120 kN of dry thrust has been achieved.
The bypass ratio has also been narrowed in simulated designs to the required ratios.
The larger engine core is currently in the process of being designed.
The new FADEC is under construction and initial simulation testing has demonstrated that it will likely be successful.
The multilevel reheater linking to the new FADEC is also under construction, and wet thrust approaches 150 kN.
Completion of the STREAM engine design to required specifications as listed above is expected by April 5th. 
The first two engines for Project Delta are expected by April 12th.

Numerous projects are coming up for production over this quarter and next quarter.
Project Delta approaches completion of airframe over the next month as it currently stands. However, its engines will be completed by April 12th for initial prototypes.
Archangel and Seraph are approaching initial non-serial production and testing. They still require lab testing of the primary armament and DERA armor, but this is expected for completion by February 26th at the latest.
Project Multi approaches completion of land-based rollout. Testing will commence for sea trials aboard the previously Northern Republic carrier upon its arrival at port, assuming that navalization is complete by then.
AIM-172 Gungnir Block I mounting updates are underway for late-model variants of the F-77(D-F), although this will take quite a while. 
Initial changes to targeting computers of F-77D are in progress.
Load capacity increases to weapons pylons are incomplete but work will begin soon on exploring new materials for the production of these new pylons.
Radar upgrades are gradually occurring to allow the F-77D to launch missiles in semi-active mode rather than active mode.

Winter Olympics In Progress
The Winter Olympics are underway in Aktaš-Ovloja, New Anderia. Numerous nations of all ideological backgrounds have attended in a show of unity across all the world. This amazing display inspires us all across the nation, and as a nation we eagerly anticipate further work toward unity across Kerbin. On a more local level, Qusmos has won 1 silver medal in women’s 3000m speed skating. We have also qualified extremely strongly in freestyle skiing, receiving 1st in men’s mogul and 3rd in women’s mogul. We do hope that our athletes will continue to bring home more medals in these games with significance across the world. We’ll be interviewing Mara Oakbrook, the silver medalist, John Maxime, the leader in men’s mogul freestyle skiing qualifying, and Josephine Amber, who holds 3rd place in women’s mogul freestyle skiing qualifying. Joanna Resan was unreachable for comment, as she’s reportedly intently practicing after her stellar performance in figure skating. Good luck to all of the athletes at the Winter Olympics! So far it’s been exciting to watch, and it only promises to get better!

Report on Offensive in Ostreich (SIC obviously)


The offensive operations in Ostreich have gone amazingly well, despite our estimates. Our Anderian vehicles have withstood ambushes head on, with only two confirmed destroyed vehicles out of the hundreds 
currently participating. Our artillery barrages, while short, have destroyed large portions of fortifications for our troops, allowing them to easily take it. Casualties are around 250 soldiers total, with 
about 74 confirmed dead. This was to be expected, though, as the warlord forces are commanded by ex generals, and have semi-modern equipment. We have secured many smaller towns and villages in the savannah,
giving our troops places to rest and rearm. We expect by next Sunday to have control over both areas, and have resistance be completely removed by next Tuesday. Our leaders here at the front have gained
much experience during this conflict, and we hope this can reflect when this conflict ends at home. There are already plans for an offensive eastward, involving for the first time Barkadian aircraft and 
other new items to quickly roll over resistance. The BR-118, while being in very limited numbers here, has shown to perform effectively every time it has been used in battle. We are excited to receive
more 118s over time. This is all for now. More reports coming in soon.

Noting the nation's heavy reliance on coal for power generation, and noting the potential health and environmental effects of fossil fuel power stations, Kolonia has decided to purchase ten non-proliferation, OMNDU based nuclear generating plants. These plants, once in operation, are planned to supplement a significant portion of Kolonia's total energy generation, and to form the base of a sustainable and clean energy grid. In return, and as part of a push away from from coal-based energy, the nation is also planning to divert much of its remaining coal mining output to the Free Land to aid in payment for its purchase. It will then be utilized to increase our production of high-performance metal carbides and carbon-based materials, structures, and compounds, in the hopes of aiding world industry and development as a whole. A far more productive endeavor than would otherwise be available for ordinary coal.

Furthermore, we invite other fossil fuel dependent nations to consider the merits of affordable, clean nuclear power, and request that said nations to seriously investigate how it may benefit their nation and the world.

PPA Oceanic Wall Investigations

On another note, we wish to express our support of a recently proposed scientific effort, from the scientific advisory arm of the council of the Polar Protection Accords. The proposal previously entailed involves submarine research studies of the lithopagos interface; the borders where Kerbin's polar icecaps meet the ocean floor. We believe that observation of the progression of this boundary over time is a key aspect of understanding Kerbin's past and current climactic evolution, and is important for a complete understanding of our planet's environmental conditions as a whole. Furthermore, it is important to learn how aquatic life interacts with the structure of the planet's polar walls, on a microscopic and macroscopic scale. This project may also serve as a catalyst for further oceanic investigation in general, an area of global research some may view as underrepresented and neglected.

The cities and towns behind the front in Ostreich remain damaged, occupied, and unsafe. As of today after The Council's vote, special advisers will be sent to Prenzlau and other locations across southeastern Ostreich to create a government based on Barkadia's current model. We hope to have a free, decentralized government rule over areas we have taken from the warlords, friendly and run by the workers and people of Ostreich. Our humanitarian aid has been limited due to lack of resources shipped over, but we hope to step this up and fund construction and industrial projects in Prenzlau and beyond. We hope by the war's end that Ostreich, or at least this corner, will be prosperous and free, determining their own future. And in order for them to protect themselves and stay strong, we will begin the exportation of arms to Ostreich. We hope to create an Ostreich controlled military, in order to relinquish control of the current conflict to the Ostreich people. We will begin sending Type 65 rifles, BR-58s, and modifiable versions of the BR-82. We also plan to send lightly armored vehicles, such as our copies of the BTR-60 from Anderia, and anti tank rockets. Our simple weaponry will be quite easy to learn, and numerous enough to arm thousands. We hope to train their forces to be effective enough to be comparable to other armies across the globe, while also being able to, after industry is rebuilt, make their own equipment. The terrorist group known as the Lorbic Imperial Front has claimed responsibility for the deadly terrorist attacks in the capital city of Atticua, the attacks have claimed 582 people and many more injured. Among the dead includes the president and high ranking officals. The Lorbic Imperial front is currently holding out in the mountains east ofAtticua were the DHS and National gaurd are laying siege to their holdouts in the mountains. Martial Law has been lifted from Atticua and the Novola regions, but the Direa region is still under Martial Law due to high terrorist activity. The National Gaurd and DHS are expected to defeat them by the end of the month.


Nuclear Energy Initiative

The Department of Energy has announced that the energy grid which is currently coal powered will be modernized with 5 new nuclear plants. 4 of the new powerplants will have 2 Light Water Reactors wach that will produce an estimated 800 MW each. The other powerplant that will be built will be a breeder reactor that will have an estimated output of 400 MW. The Department of Energy has also announced the decommisioning of 3 coal fired powerplants in an attmept to cut back on Mon Fairas high CO2 output. The coal plants will be complety taken out of the power grid by the middle of 2018.

Above the East Atticua Mountains

An old, past generation S-1 Blorbik reconnaissance aircraft shoots through the air above a cloudless sky, hovering atop the East Atticua Mountains in Mon Faira. The craft, while likely unfit for reconnaissance on modern, advanced foreign powers, such a place was not the target of this mission. Instead, the KBN operated plane was tasked with observing possible locations of the Lorbic Imperial Front among these mountains, an organization with neither the radar capability to possibly detect such a plane nor dispatch ground to air missiles against it. For this reason, these older models have persisted within the Blorbik reconnaissance ranks. The S-1 planes are significantly cheaper to fuel, prepare, repair, and fly than the faster and stealthier alternatives (The S-1s have had their imaging upgraded vastly to become comparable). However, as the Lorbic Imperial Front does not have the capability to even detect these craft, it is more than capable of jobs like this. Satellite reconnaissance would also likely be capable of this job, but most Blorbik satellite reconnaissance is placed in orbits which mean it spends little to no time over Blorbs, and those that do often have other tasks of a higher importance and confidentiality.

As the pilot begins to fly above the mountains in earnest, he activates the imaging on the craft. This was the third run so far across the mountains, travelling in straight lines and imaging until eventually having covered the entire range.

The pilot opened up communications with a KBN base of operations in Blorbs, "I'm beginning imaging, and from what I can see it is looking promising. It looks as if I've spotted at least two LIR outposts. гикәни."

The crowd intensified as Timiki approached the podium. He cleared his throat to begin his speech, when a man between the ages of thirty and thirty-five stepped out of the mob. His hair wass slicked back, and there was an intensity in his eyes. He looked familiar. Strangely familiar. The man wore a jacket, unusual for such an oddly warm day. Timiki looked down at his reference material briefly, and looked back up, squinting in the sunlight. He began speaking, and the man stepped forward. He reached into his jacket. Security lurched forward, and the man's hands shot up, withdrawing a cell phone from his jacket. Security halted, and pulled back. Timiki continued. A countdown was proceeding in the background, from ten seconds. Everyone held their breath - the Atlas spacecraft was heading for Duna, carrying an unmanned rover. This was a large moment for the Aerospace Department of Traestan, as this was one of the most advanced spacecraft the Department has ever launched into space. With the success of this spacecraft, far more launches would follow, with the possibility of a manned Duna mission, and eventually, a colony. Everyone's hopes were that the launch will go without incident.

Before the launch, numerous pre-launch tests occurred. One fault was registered within the second stage fuel tank, but due to an error, a mistake, was ignored. The Aerospace Department proceeded with the launch, unknowingly sending it with a fault that could quickly grow into a major issue.

As the countdown hit zero, Atlas' liquid fuel engine ignited, and the rocket blasted off the launchpad. Accelerating, the rocket hit seventy kilometers in altitude, and first stage separation commenced. The second stage engine, the KH-81, has been known to be of somewhat low quality. Seemingly, as the engine ignited, there were no visible problems. Three minutes into the launch, combustion instability occurred in the second stage engine. This caused pogo oscillations, which vibrated the craft, causing the fault in the fuel tank to rupture. Just a few seconds later, an explosion occurred.

For the last few minutes, the rocket launch went as expected, and people assumed that the worst possibilities that could occur were over. Until they saw a bright flash in the sky, which was the Atlas rocket exploding. The Atlas launch was a failure. Disappointment overtook everyone, as a pivotal moment in Traestan's space program was a failure. Plans were already being made on the next launch, but the failure was a major setback to the Program.

New Keiming Commercial and Business District

With the continuing Dingist reforms the new and sprawling business districts have been built. When of those is the newly built Ziogohong districts of Keiming. This new district will be mostly open to foreign business investors and companies but many state owned industries will be based there. More ZH-78 class apartments have been recently built in the area and the construction of the Tianko Industries building has finished construction. The district will be connected to the Keiming-Shonshu railway it will also be connected to the Keiming Central Road System.

Gigoz Supercomputer Developed
The Department of Computer Sciences at Kao Mezong University in Keiming have developed the Gigoz Supercomputer. The Gigoz is the 5th supercomputer in the Tienanmen line, capable of holding and processing 10 petaflops of data. It is the most powerful in the line and is currently rolling out in the headquarters of the National Space Directive and the main government departments. A newly named "Supercomputer Building" will be built in the Ziogohong district of Keiming, the University hopes that they can get at least ten of the Gigoz computers into the building. The team at Kao Mezong University also hope that their computer can reach the global market.[/box]

Two Blorbik KBN agents walk up the steps, the cold breeze moving a light dusting of snow over them. One, bearing a low-ranking Anderian army uniform, escorts the other, adorned in civilian clothes. They walk up to the door, and, after saluting, the uniformed Kerb speaks,

"I was told to bring this man here. He is a KBN agent who was suspected to be meddling with the our efforts to defend Anderia. May I escort him inside?"

The guard pauses for the moment, glancing at the one adjacent, "Go ahead."

The two walk in. An important looking official asks, "Who are you?"

"I am here to escort this man, sir. He is suspected to have been very important in resisting the transition of government. I was instructed to bring him for direct confrontation to the Field Marshal."

"Really? Hmm... well they should be in their office, just down the hall here."

"Thank you." He salutes and continues down the hallway, before reaching the door and knocking.
Confused, having not expected any meetings for that afternoon, the Field Marshal signals for his guard to open the door. The two walk in, and the Marshal confronts them, "Who are you? I was not told of any meetings... and who is this civilian?"

Setting down his briefcase, he responds, "Sir, this man is suspected to have been playing a significant role in resisting the takeover. He is believed to possibly be of great danger to the administration. I was instructed by my captain to bring him to you immediately for a personal verdict on what to do with him. I am sorry we could not give you prior information, it was urgent and we could not get through to any officials at that time."
"Alright, fine. I can take it from here. But just know your captain may be reprimanded for this."

"Oh, and yes, sir, about that; with the current reorganization I was also ordered to receive an assignment here, and that I am no longer under his command."

"What?" He appears to have made himself busy and gotten quickly distracted, "Oh, alright, I suppose you can guard the building. If this Kerb here is as serious as you make him sound we need to stay as secure as possible."

"Thank you, sir." He nudges the alleged wrongdoer goodbye with a light smile, and exits into the main hall of the building. He walks over to a specific angle through a window, giving an all-clear signal disguised as a cough to a number of other KBN agents observing far in the distance in a concealed truck. He then takes post, and begins to make friends and get to know the other nearby guards and workers for the remainder of the night.

Funeral for the late President Uteng
Four days ago the state funeral for President Uteng was held. The funeral was held in the Atticua Square from 2 PM until 6 PM, an estimated 18,000 people were in attendance for the funeral. He and the others killed in the deadly terrorist attacks were buried in the cemetery of heroes along with many other of the dead from the Corgelian War, and the Civil War. He was 85 years old when he died.

Nuclear Energy Initiative
In other news 2 of the 5 recently finished nuclear plants have been activated and are generating power for the energy grid. The projected energy output for these two plants will be an estimated 2600 MW, or 2.6 GW of power. In addition the breeder plant is expected to come online in a week. Also 2 out of the 3 proposed coal fired plants have been removed from the grid and will be facing deconstruction, with the materials being used elsewhere.

Lorbic Imperial Front

The Mon Fairan Army has been currently laying siege to 2 of the only remaining LIF strongholds, the LIF is holding out quite strong against the constant barrages from artillery and airstrikes. The Mon Fairan Army has confirmed to be moving in 5 K-6 railway guns in an attempt to break through the LIF strongholds. With the help of Blorbik intelligence the Mon Fairan Army has captured 3 LIF outposts last night in a surprise attack. The Lorbic Imperial Front is suspected to have less then 500 men remaining in their two strongholds, with 100 captured, and 300 estimated dead. Defeat of the LIF is estimated to be within the month.

It is approximately 48 hours since operation easter got underway.
Engagements have most of the time occurred at longer distances, being few and far between.
Hostile positions are concentrated in strategic locations that are few and far between, with many enemy battlegroups simply surrendering after few minutes of combat.
I predict this is due to poor leadership.
Enemy forces in the direct north have been defeated, and Keitel's Ostreich is now bordering the Kerthenian backed government.

We will be reaching November 1 and Sierra 1 in 2 days, where paratroops are scheduled for deployment.

The Blorbik troops looked up at their superior. "Men, today we are returning home. It's quite obvious that the workers' cause in this country is lost. Perhaps, one day, we will return to this city and liberate its people. But that day is not today, nor can I tell you how soon, if ever. Farewell, Corgelia, and may the revolution continue to endure in you." The Blorbik troops began to load their equipment and troops on to the planes taking them back to Mon Faira.

30 Kilometers from Stent, 1000, February 22nd, 2018

The Doxian general began his began his briefing for Operation Splinter. "Many of the CPR's forces are located near the city, and another DPF force is moving on towards the city. The CPR's force is mainly lightly trained militia, badly supplied and has equipment dating back to the Great War, and with few anti-tank weapons and fewer vehicles. Missile and artillery strikes have largely neutralized enemy anti-air and airforce. We may hold a large advantage in quality and armor, yet the enemy troops are fanatic to the end. The first stage will involve airstrikes on the remaining enemy anti-air and heavy armor from the more modern planes, clearing the airspace for our more numerous stock of older planes. Artillery will focus on known positions, and aerial reconnaissance will be in place keeping track of enemy movements throughout the city. The second stage will begin 2 hours after the start of stage one, where our armored forces will move in, using their high mobility to stay out of fire and destroy enemy positions outside the city, while APCs and IFVs move to position for stage three. Stage three will secure the city, moving in infantry and vehicles and clearing many buildings of hostiles. Major clearing of the city should take less than a day, and will continue at night to prevent possible enemy ambushes and counterattacks. Fully clearing the city may take up to a week, but this is not required for stage four. Stage four begins when the city has been secured. Troops will begin to dig in and prepare for an attack by the DPF which will likely arrive 3 days after the beginning of the operation. Any objections?" The others shook their heads. "The operation will begin in two days at 0700."

Doxian Airfield, 0650, February 24th, 2018

Wesley Kerman revved up his engines. His Earthquake, loaded with bombs and anti-tank missiles, prepared to attack the enemy. In the airfield a surprising number of modernized Striders had been prepared for ground support after he destroyed the remnants of the enemy AA, as the rest of the CAS had been pulled for the attack on Corgelia. With his pre-flight checks completed, he waited for his squadron to be ordered into the air. "Squadron Bravo, you are cleared for takeoff. Give those lefties what they deserve." He pushed the throttle to 100%, and lifted off the runway. The squadron quickly moved into formation and set course for Stent.

Stent had finally entered view. The enemy SAMs had been completely destroyed, and the only thing left where the mobile AA vehicles. "Prepare for attack run, activate afterburners." The sudden acceleration pushed Wesley back into his seat. The enemy AA had already detected them on radar, but the outdated nature of the vehicles and their tracking systems meant that the shots simply detonated early, late, or missed entirely. The planes launched off the anti-vehicle missiles, devastating the lightly armored vehicles. "Mission objectives complete, let's drop a couple extra gifts on them." Wesley lined his plane up with a group of infantrymen, scattering at the sight of the menacing attack plane, and dropped his bombs. He peeled off, and saw the rest of the squadron doing similarly. "Command, targets are down, returning home."

Doxian High Command, 1200, February 28th, 2018

Operation Splinter had been a resounding success. With the DPF reeling from its defeat and the CPR weakened, the time had come to bring absolute control over Corgelia, with the capture of the former capital. Operation Razor was ready, and would be deployed soon, beginning the siege of Corgelia. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. ID papers were given to the guard at the door, and two soldiers walked in, escorting a man none of the generals had recognized. The man sat, under the watchful eyes of the guards. He spoke, "You may not know who I am. I am Atenius Terrin, creator of the Democratic People's Front. I have come here offering our surrender. However, I do wish for some terms. I would like to reserve the right to safe passage out of the country for me and my family at any time, that my troops are allowed to go back to their civilian lives, that there are no retaliatory attacks on the land the DPF currently controls, and a set minimum wage in the country after your victory." The men conversed, and Brady Michael, gave the response. "We accept your terms. At least you have a sense of humanity, unlike that evil Marcus Wilders." Atenius walked out, and the men resumed their planning.

Second Armor Regiment, 0800, March 2nd, 2018

"Alright folks, new orders came in from command. We are to spearhead through enemy lines, and encircle the capital. We have infantry about an hour behind us, so we shouldn't be encircled. Even if we were, we could push out. I want us moving in 2 hours." The men shuffled out, preparing to deconstruct camp and get their vehicles on the move. They would be the liberators of Corgelia.

0200 Hours later

The crew of the CMT-5E (mod. 95) prepared themselves. They sat in a 20 year old vehicle which was, in turn, a modernized version of a 40 year old one. Though it has been replaced by the CMT-7, it was still in service, and more than ever were in use in the battlefields of the civil war. But she worked, and that's what they needed. They revved up the engine, and announced over the radio "5E-C, ready to move." The rest of the platoon announced their readiness, and the platoon leader gave the order to move. The vehicles burst forward, the engines cranking out every last horsepower. The first 30 minutes were uneventful, but they soon moved upon a small town of a few hundred at most. Suddenly, a squad of infantry and 3 CMT-5s burst out of the main street, older variants, but still deadly. "Hostile armor, 12 o'clock! Gunner, prepare to fire, and driver, get us around them!" The commander subsequently opened up with the 25mm autocannon on the turret roof, firing into the infantry. The squad also began to split up, roughly 2 tanks going after each enemy. The enemy they were moving after hastily fired a shot, the 152mm shell ricocheting off the turret side, jostling the crew inside but undeterring their advance. The tank passed the enemy, performing a handbrake turn, bringing the vehicle right behind the enemy. "FIRE!" yelled the commander, and the vehicle lurched back from the massive force from the shell leaving the barrel. The accidentally-loaded HE shell hit the back of the turret, detonating the fuel and ammo, throwing the turret into the air in a massive fireball. "Was HE really necessary?" asked the commander, with the gunner replying "Sure looked nice, didn't it?" The commander shook his head in exasperation, saying, "Yes, but please load AP. Let's help our allies." The gunner selected the shell from the autoloader and while it loaded ranged out the next tank. A beep was heard, indicating that it was loaded. "You may fire when ready." The round struck straight through the turret side, and the crew was clearly dead. The rest of the platoon swarmed the last enemy, and it was dead within seconds. The rest of the journey to the coast was relatively uneventful, the occasional pistol or PDW fired at the tank, usually responded to by a shot by the 25mm into the air.

Forward HQ near Corgelia, 1800, March 4th, 2018

"Sir, despite the siege, the CPR has refused to surrender. Do you wish to continue, or should we storm the city?" Brady was frustrated at this annoying servant. "Shell the services. Water treatment, power plants, sewage treatment, storage warehouses. Starve them more than they already are. But don't intentionally fire on civilians." The servant nodded. "It will be done, my lord." Brady went back to planning his next political moves, mainly with Aquarius.

Corgelian Assembly, Corgelia, 1000, March 7th, 2018

Marcus Wilders was tired. Constant gunfire had kept him up all night, and work was more stressful than ever. The people were hungry and discontent. They cared not for the government but for their lives. He made as many assurances as he could, but he could only hold on for as long as he could. He hadn't heard much from the command today. But when he heard the loud sounds of military-grade engines, he thought he knew what had happened. As dozens of feet began to move throughout the deserted building, he knew his time was up. He grabbed his pistol, and took cover behind a desk. He might at least get one of them before they killed him. He heard them breach the door. He popped over the desk and fired the pistol wildly at the direction of the intruders. Yet they did not fire back. "We have you surrounded. Surrender, Marcus Wilders, or we will take you by force. Glory to the New Doxian Empire."

Wilders was brought onto a balcony, where a massive crowd watched. A soldier punched him in the gut. The crowd cheered. Another struck him with the butt of his rifle. Yet more cheering. They nodded at each other, and they suddenly threw him off the balcony, into the angry crowd below.

Brady: Exactly. An invasion would be costly for both sides and would be more trouble than it's worth. So, we propose a deal.
Terence: And that is?
Brady: First, a cessation of hostilities between our nations. These hostilities only harm our two nations.
Terence: Agreed.
Brady: Second, joint control of the nearby strait. Cooperation on this will help both of our economies rather than stubbornly competing with each other.
Terence: That sounds like a good idea.
Brady: Finally, we would like to exchange a guarantee of protection and recognition in exchange for a base north of Aquarius City. 
Terence: We will only agree to the base if we are payed a yearly lease.
Brady: Deal. Good day, and let this be the start of a great friendship between our nations.

BARKADIA PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Status in Ostreich

Ever since the beginning of the creation of our own administration in Ostreich, we have been optimistic. And we were right to be so. The training of the defense force has been going wonderfully. Many locals, both men and women, have signed up. They have demonstrated the ability to proficiently handle our small arms sent to Ostreich. The vehicles donated have also been used well, and with little issue. Construction projects, created to repair damage from the battle, and to increase Prenzlau's industrial capacity, have also been planned and started by local workers. They are hopeful for the future, and are thankful to be allowed to rebuild their city with our aid. The government is also quickly being formed, with local elections planned within the next few weeks to a month from now. In short, Ostreich will be reborn by the workers and they will determine their own future.

Firdeck released from prison

Firdeck, the man who somewhat recently attempted to seize power over Barkadia, and then was arrested by Blorbik forces, has been released from jail. He was regretful of his actions. He is banned from assuming any governmental or administrative position in Barkadia for life. He is free to take any other job, and he does not have any special restrictions. When asked upon release what he was going to do, he commented, "I plan to move to Acus, and work on keeping the town warm over winters." We are glad that he has accepted his new role in Barkadian society, and that any person never attempts what he has ever again. Barkadia in 2005 was founded upon total freedom, and it should stay that way indefinitely.

Increase in popularity of Zhioubin ideas

The country of Zhioubin, a country to the southwest, is a massive nation in both size and population. Many Barkadians see the populace as fellow comrades, and are sympathetic towards the nation and its goals.
Recently, in the wake of what some call rising Barkadian militarism, and potential economic troubles, many have been interested in the ideology of Zhioubin. Some of the more radical factions in Barkadia have been slightly nervous of this interest, as it could potentially hint as a shift away from anarchism, our homegrown and applied ideology. 2005, however, was applied by both socialists and anarchists alike, and it is noted that there is a large minority of state socialists, who assisted in the revolution, and take up some of the key government positions. It is unknown whether this interest will get anywhere in Barkadian politics.

The leaders of the ISB sat together in a nondescript board room. The cameras were rolling, and they were in full uniform. It was stuffy in the room, the thermostat had broken months earlier. The odor of sweat permeated the room, and Karlo rose to speak. He cleared his throat, and reached for his room-temperature water. He took a sip, and then began. "Ladies and gentlemen of this board, and the greater Anderian public: I must inform you that it is my belief that K.B.N. agents from Blorbs have been attempting to interfere with the transition of power. It is also my belief that they have infested our legislature." He raises a hankerchief to his glistening forehead, and continues. "It is with this belief that I, with a heavy heart, am forced to continue to centralize power to defend our beautiful democracy. I call a vote of no confidence among the I.S.B., targeted agaisnt our legislators so that we might organize a snap election and put us once again upon the path our great nation should be on, a path of liberty, a path of strength, and a path of socialism." The other members of the ISB were indifferent to the announcement, they had been informed days earlier of Karlo's decision. Not all of htem were so faithful in his motives, others had motives of their own. A box was put forward, and they filled out a ballot. After everyone had finished and submitted their votes, they were counted. Twenty-six votes against the legislature, three votes abstained. It was done.

It is now 5 days since operation easter got underway.
Yesterday our forces reached November 1 and Sierra 1, both designated as such because of the heavily fortified positions, held by warlords and their armies.
The takeover of the positions began with heavy bombardments by artillery, as armor advanced and neutralized forces outside of the designated position.
The artillery bombardment lasted for 3 hours, stopping as paratroops were deployed and troops moved into the fortifications.
It took 11 hours to capture the position with few casualties inflicted upon our side.

We will be reaching November 2 and Sierra 2 on the 11th, where after we are expected to be fighting the occupation from Kheyaus.
We are aware that Kheyaus is heavily increasing the number of troops they have in Ostreich, seemingly in response to this operation.
