OBELISK TESTING REPORT
Test 1:
Date: February 20th, 2019
Objectives:
Test power and range of Obelisk.
Display Doxian might to other nations of Kerbin.
Result:
Success, Obelisk fired the round successfully. Splashdown was not recorded, though is suspected to have been in the Nuntic Sea.
Test 2:
Date: March 1st, 2019
Objectives:
Determine consistency of Obelisk's capabilities.
Ensure Obelisk is durable enough to fire multiple shots.
Result:
Success, Obelisk maintained structural integrity and projectile's speed was consistent with Test 1's results.
Test 3:
Date: March 10th, 2019
Objectives:
Determine maximum fire rate of Obelisk by firing 3 inert rounds in quick succession.
Result:
Success, Obelisk fired all three shots without signs of structural strain, reloads took an average of 43 minutes.
Test 4:
Date: March 18th, 2019
Objectives:
Test the basic ability of Obelisk to fire rockets, specifically the Quasar I, while maintaining telemetry and communications.
Result:
Failure, rocket appears to have been destroyed in the barrel, launching fuel and pieces of the rocket out the barrel. Obelisk
is to undergo checks and repairs while the Quasar I is improved.
Test 5:
Date: April 5th, 2019
Objectives:
Test the basic ability of Obelisk to fire rockets while maintaining telemetry and communications.
Test the new Quasar IA rocket, and its survivability.
Result:
Failure, the Quasar IA suffered a similar fate to the Quasar I in test 4, failing to survive launch from the barrel. The Quasar IA will
be improved again while Obelisk undergoes maintenance.
Test 6:
Date: April 21st, 2019
Objectives:
Test the basic ability of Obelisk to fire rockets while maintaining telemetry and communications.
Test the Quasar IB and its survivability.
Result:
Success, the Quasar IB cleared the barrel, igniting the rocket at an altitude of 30,000 meters. However,
due to insufficient stabilization the Quasar IB began to tumble in midair, thusly mitigating the effectiveness
of the engine. Splashdown was recorded to be in the Nuntic Sea.

Official Transcript from a Press Breifing in the Executive Residence
The Federal Republic / Federation of Ventrex will be closing numerous airbases throughout Trexa as well as honorably discharging their operators. After budget prioritization by submitted by the President and approved by the Senate legally through our own domestic channels, it has been concluded that this is the best course of action. Equipment that was stored at these bases will be relocated to numerous facilities in Ventra, mostly near the Doxian border. Most of the bases will officially shut down within the month, and some may even sooner. Questions?

In foreign policy, the President expressed concerns about rumors of violence committed by the Doxian government, supposedly against civilians. Ventrex will not tolerate gross violations of morality on the battlefield. The President said in a recent conference and I quote, 'We will stand with our allies to make sure that no atrocities occurred. We are launching our own investigation, the CDN are free to participate, and we hope that together we can find a diplomatic solution to minimize suffering. That will be all for today.'

URGENT VENTREX SITUATION REPORT

Preface:
The nation of Ventrex has proven to be a thorn in our side since the formation of our great empire.
As they serve as the only border the Council of Democratic Nations has with our nation, we naturally must strive to rid them of this.
Two recent developments have pushed both opportunities, dangers, and urgency to the forefront of our policy with Ventrex.
Thusly, our policy with Ventrex must be rethought, and this report seeks to propose one possible reform to our policy on Ventrex.
Section 1:
Ventrexi Redeployments:
The relocation of Ventrexi bases is quite clearly intended as a provocative measure.
As such, we must respond in kind.
This will be done by the relocation of several divisions, (Specified on page ██,) the ████ Independent Artillery Battalion, and multiple air wings, (Specified on page ██,) to numerous positions along the Ventrexi border.
However, these relocations have caused a mild uproar in the Trexan population, as they have been moved from Trexan-majority lands to Ventran-majority lands.
This increased anger and tension could be utilized, and the ways this will be done are specified in Section 3 of this report.
Section 2:
Ventrexi Investigation:
The Ventrexi government has launched an investigation into alleged war crimes caused by our military in our suppression of rebels inside our nation.
Regardless of whether these claims are substantiated or not, the Ventrexis and their CDN allies will likely attempt to construe any results as a Casus Belli.
It has been regarded that the best course of action as of this moment is to "cooperate" with the investigation while attempting to hinder its progress long enough for actions detailed in Section 3 to distract the Ventrexi government.
However dangerous or humiliating this path may be, it is simply the best option out of many bad ones.
Section 3:
Fostering and Aiding a Trexan Rebellion:
With the recent posturings and actions by the Ventrexi government, it is clear it must be either eliminated or neutralized for a long period of time.
However, due to its membership in the CDN, direct action, such as that in Cascablanca, would be suicide.
As well, the investigation, as detailed in Section 2, presents an as of now uncertain deadline for operations to be completed before.
With these goals and limitations in mind, the solution to the Ventrexi problem is to subvert the federation and support nationalist sentiment.
Agents will focus on contacting Trexan nationalist groups and supplying them with whatever intel we have on the Ventrexis.
After initial contact, we have allocated for the transfer of captured BR-82s and formerly Cascablancan MA7s, alongside ammunition.
Numbers of each rifle and ammunition available are specified on page ██.
Shipment of CR-55s in any form is not to be approved as to keep Doxian involvement unknown by the CDN.
As well, propaganda will be spread, attempting to bolster recruitment in nationalist groups and further divides between Trexans and Ventrans.

FRI OFFICIALS ARRESTED IN CONSPIRACY
Several military and diplomatic officials from Icaria, Federal Republic of, have been arrested in relation to an alleged infiltration of the Ostreich Intelligence Services and the Dictatorial Army.
Last evening on the 18th, more than 40 foreign officials from the FRI were arrested at their homes, as they are suspected of illegally gathering intelligence on the Ostreicher state and its armed forces. According to a press conference earlier this morning, several unauthorized entries into Ostreich military intelligence databanks have been uncovered, and several highly classified documents are missing.
"It has unfortunately been revealed that government officials from the FRI have infiltrated our national intelligence agency, in areas that have given them great access to several sensitive documents and reports. This was uncovered 2 weeks ago, but evidence indicates that the intelligence service has been compromised for several months. What is even more alarming is; the secret service only discovered the breach by chance, when asking for the original copy of certain documents, which were then discovered to be missing along with several dozens of highly classified and sensitive documents, concerning our armed forces activity."
The information that has been gathered remains uncertain, but it is known that the breach will have given them access to routine reports and the positions of forces, posing a serious and immediate national security threat to Ostreich. The motive behind this breach is still unknown, but military and government officials have said that the information collected could indicate preparations for an invasion, takeover, or coup.
Keitel was asked to comment on the situation but has refused until the investigation has become more conclusive, but he was made aware of the breach immediately after it was uncovered.
The FRI embassy in Neinhagen remains open, but military police have been stationed around the building, and are interviewing everyone who leaves and enters the embassy grounds. Otherwise, all former state cooperation with the FRI and the Syncretic Confederation has been suspended, and will remain so until further notice. FRI officials are currently barred from leaving Ostreich as the investigation continues.

In response to the occupation of the FRI embassy and the rising tensions with Heruland, and in light of the unfortunate fate of a Dolphik carrier group near our present location, Command has authorized the deployment of nuclear weapons in a deterrent capacity as per CONTINGENCY PROTOCOL 2019-01A, also known as the "Hair Trigger" Protocol. Three nuclear-armed stealth aircraft will maintain a Combat Air Patrol above the Guardian at all times. If the Guardian comes under fire and is sunk, the three aircraft will be authorized and mandated to conduct a low-yield, tactical nuclear strike on the Herulic capital building.

KEITEL SPEAKS ON THE ICARIAN CONSPIRACY
Keitel held a speech last afternoon for the first time since the 28th of April last year. This breach of his silence comes as a result of the Icarian conspiracy, where the FRI have been found out to have gathered sensitive information on our nation, which indicates a possible invasion.
"The last time I gave a speech to you, my people, was 13 months ago. Time flies, if you ask me. Back then, I spoke about the Kerthenian, and his nonchalant pursuit of power through the most horrendous means, as this was exactly the issue the Kerthenians were presenting us with. Of course, the formation of this state was from the very beginning meant to defend the Ostreicher people. Award us the independence that we for so long had desired. Back then, the capitalist Kerthenians were our greatest adversary to this cause.
Since then, however, Ostreich has prospered, despite our isolation, and despite the lurking predators to all sides. We decided to join forces with the Syncretic Confederation of both the communist and capitalist Icarias. This was a decision that I made reluctantly. Although we have powerful allies, who are just as determined in ensuring national autonomy, they lie on the opposite side of this globe. I am of course speaking mostly of Heruland, the most humble and generous of our friends. At the time, however, they were beginning to face the threat of losing their own sovereignty. There were in the midst of a civil war, where their own democratic and treacherous leadership had turned against them in a surprise attack and attempted to seize the victories of their national whole. With this history in mind, looking upon what we found out about the Icarian actions, you may become convinced that history does repeat itself.
When we joined the Syncretic Confederation, as I mentioned, it was done reluctantly. Naturally, I could not trust people who live by subverting their own people, but it was a necessity to ensure the existence of this independent nation. But perhaps unsurprisingly, our closest cooperatives did what is signature of their character. As it appears, they have gathered information on our nation and its army, that does indeed indicate the unthinkable. They have gathered information that has allowed them to know the positions, tasks, structure, strength, even routines of all our armed forces. This intelligence can perhaps only indicate their desire to replicate what the traitors in Heruland did; launch a surprise attack to topple our national will.
They know how weak and cowardly they are, and they accept it as reality. But now that the blinds to their subversive actions have been drawn, and bright sunlight now shines upon their cowering actions, they are on equal footing with us. We are stronger by nature. When I first joined the army to fight the Kerthenians at 17, my father sent me off with a sentence that I will never forget. While my mother was chocked with pride and tears, he firmly put his hand on my shoulder and told me; "Always kill a traitor before an enemy." And as these words sunk into my mind, I responded; "Treue ist unsere Ehre"
