A Herulic training exercise near the border spooked Menian soldiers making them act irrationally, despite knowing of the exercise. In response, The Leader has demanded compensation for this stab in the back, in the form of an apology and territorial concession. The Leader spoke of the issue earlier, speculating that the attack was ordered by the Menian leader General Koros, following The Leader's critique of his lacking loyalty. The Leader has promised that this attack by an ally will not be excused or tolerated.

Tucked just on top of a depression on a grassy hill in the zone of conflict, a 1st Army artillery battery prepared to fire whilst 3rd Air Wing pilots streaked overhead.
 If all went to plan, the advancing Herulic company would be utterly annihilated by simultaneous incendiary shells and bombs. 
As the order to fire was given, Captain Janik noticed that another battery had opened fire, from the 7th Army's positions not far from his location.
 "These bastards are in for a world of hurt." he muttered as the shells streaked through the azure skies, breaking the silence of the frozen woodlands of Kracsis. 
With a start he began yelling curses as he watched the 7th's shells airburst, discharging some alarmingly red colored gas.
 "MOP SUITS, NOW! THEY'RE USING FUCKING CHEMICAL WEAPONS!" the order went out. 
Fire from the 1st's positions ceased entirely, and screams of horror went out as they realized the stiff wind would blow the gasses onto their positions after destroying the Herulic company.




++Reports that war has broken out between Kracsis and Heruland have been confirmed,
 as General Koros made a public speech today, denouncing the cowardly Herules for their thinly veiled attempts to steal Menian lands.
 In particular was his vitriolic rejections of the Herulic claims to land as absurd,
citing the many thousands of lives lost in history to secure that mineral rich sector as rightfully Menian by the old kingdoms.
Unconfirmed rumors are also going around claiming he ensured a photograph of his reproductive organs to the Herulic leader,
with the phrase "NUTS!" attached, in homage to a Great War general. 
Thousands marched in the nation's great capital in support of our brave soldiers, fighting against those who have stabbed our mighty nation's back.++

TROOPS ADVANCE INTO KRACSIS
A press conference today by the Ministry of Defense stated that in response to Menian disloyalty, hostility, and lack of just action, the Herulic 3rd army is advancing into Kracsis. The Leader and several high ranking officials had evaluated the situation between Heruland and Kracsis, and concluded that General Koros is an unworthy leader, that can't command his own armies to not fire at allies, and so measures will be taken to ensure he is relieved of some responsibility. This, along with The Leader's promise to avenge the slaughtered Herulic soldiers, it is the objective for our army to occupy the north-eastern-most part of Kracsis.

looking into the eyes of the crowd for several seconds. A pregnant silence filled the room as he prepared to speak,
and no one made a noise for fear of making the charismatic general unhappy, such was their devotion to the man who had so bravely stood up to Herulic aggression.

"Brothers, sisters, Menians all. Today I stand before you with a heaviness of heart and infinite resolve. As you have heard, the once-great nation of Heruland improperly advanced into Menian lands, foolishly drawing our ire. Their advance was utterly crushed by the heroes of the 1st Army, who even now prepare to spill their sacred blood to defend your great nation. I would like to address the Herulic lies about me, as you rightfully deserve the truth. The pitiful accusations that the military has broken it's mighty discipline, that they attacked the Herulic soldiers, remains unfounded. Our brave soldiers retained a state of advanced readiness as they established their base of operations in the area, and the contemptful Herules thought their recent experience in the skirmish with Hokubuhon would give them an advantage over proven warriors and Menian pride. As the Edusan national hymn plays, the Edusan king enters the conference room followed by the Prime Minister Errekagoien, the Minister of Defense and Armies Zabala and eight soldiers of the 1st Royal Guard Regiment. As the flashes of the journalists cameras crackle, the king and his followers climb on the platform of the Peragenor Royal Theater. The crowd becomes silent as he approch the small desk cracking under the weight of a good dozen of microphones.

"Edusans, today is a great day for us ! As you all know, following the referendum for the entry of Edusa in the CDN and the official demand from our government to its leaders, Edusan is no part of the CDN ! This will surrely mark a new era of prosperity for our nation as we slowly but surrely shake off the rust and filth of our sad past and open our nation to the world ! However, don't be fooled, this won't go as smoothly as a lot of you expect, our once master and still neighbour Ostrokhan is the member of UoP and our entrance in the CDN raised concerns from them but also further away nations, they won't be foolish enough to declare a war against us but still, our relation with these nations won't be of the best kind despite our good will. But, as I said, if this decision gave us new foes, it also offered us new and powerful friends and cooperation with them already begun ! The Prime Minister walks toward the desk while the king steps back.

As the king did, the Prime Minister steps back to let the Minister of Defense and Armies begin his speech as a big screen behind him lights up.

"As my chiefs told you, cooperation begun on a military plan, first, the CDN members will have access to our military training and testing facility and our instructors will be happy to teach their soldiers the desert warfare tactics and technics that our brave soldiers are master of but that's not all, our army equipment will be standardised to CDN calibers and specifications to allow for a better military cooperation and supply chain in the case of a conflict so first and most importantly, our main assault rifle, the EF-77 will be replaced after over 40 years of good and loyal service by the EF-18, derivated from the battle proven kerthenian ARX-57 platorm. The screen displays the new weapon as the Minister is speaking.

The said weapon appears on the screen.


"These weapons will all be available to our CDN allies but now, let's switch to heavier gear: our main battle tank has also been updated with Qusmosi 130mm gun and license produced shells to enhance their firepower and effectiveness..."

An Alighieri I with the newly purchased gun is now displayed on the screen.


"... while our brand new Amalur main battle tank and its own 130mm gun is being developed."

A sleek looking tank sharing some common features and shapes with the previously shown Alighieri I appears on the screen.


"This new tank will be the product of our industry coupled with the fantastic kerthenian Aegis active defense system and, together with our newly updated equipemnt, will bring back our nation's armed forces on the forefront of the military equipment market and create thousands of new jobs!"

The king walks back to desk.

"As you can see and as you heard fellow Edusans, I didn't lie to you when I told you that a new era of prosperity and power is opening to us, thank you for your time and I wish you a great day in this new Edusa !"

And the crackling of cameras resumes, more intense than ever, as the king, his ministers and his soldiers walk back to the exit followed by cheerings and clappings.

BARKADIAN PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Yesterday, June 27th, 2018, was our 13th anniversary of the 2005 Revolution. As usual, workers and children had the day off to celebrate Barkadian culture and revolution. A military parade took place on the streets of Corticis, where hundreds of thousands of residents watched soldiers and vehicles equipped with powerful, modern equipment march by with pride. Afterwards, many had gatherings at bars and homes across the country, drinking and celebrating. At night, there was a spectacular firework display across the nation where civilians and others fired off fireworks into the air, most of them being colored white, green, or red. For others, their holiday was spent debating anarchism on television and in theaters. Soldiers abroad in Ostreich celebrated by visiting local bars and restaurants. There were no incidents and soldiers retreated to their barracks before the night was over. Although 13 is an unlucky number in western countries, for us, it is a number we will hold dear forever. Our power has grown significantly, and we are now feared of, instead of vice versa. Our torch is burning brighter than ever, our country more unique than ever, our people stronger than ever. Barkadians are proud and optimistic for the next year, whatever happens. We can only hope that the next 364 days for our nation are one of significant growth, peace, and prosperity. Edusan Goizean 2018ko Ekainaren 30a

Troubles from the desert !

Several nomadic tribes gathered and protested against the new oil facility project and CDN trainings in the desert in the capital this morning. According to Sarea Eguzki, leader of the biggest tribe, these projects and trainings are "messing with our rightful land" and are an "infringement to the 1994 Nomadic Sovereignity Act".
This protest quickly drew the attention of the several left winged groups who joined the march at around 10:00 AM, gathering over 8500 people according to the police. Elur Zabala, leader of the Alderdi Sozialista (Socialist party) called for strikes against the "capitalist expension" and "refuse[s] to bow in front of new slavers like our people did in the past".
Several riots happened in the margins of the march and at least 12 people have been arrested according to official sources, the AS and Mrs Eguzki deny all involvement in these "disgusting acts".

June 29, 2018
11:30 - One of the largest Nüünbü celebrations in decades commenced in Kükemüre Plaza.

13:00 - Hulaanhada band concert began on a stage next to Kükemüre Pagoda with an expected audience of around 2500 people.

Approximately 13:15 - Two Huoma Lülong cars containing two assailants each bypassed barriers and entered Kükemüre Plaza from the south. Both vehicles drove towards the pagoda stage until they finally ram into the audience. Terrorists began firing on the crowd and band from the car windows, which resulted in the deaths of 14 people, including lead singer Saihu and band member Dashu.

Approximately 13:20 - The four terrorists exited their vehicles and again fired at anyone they saw with pistols and rifles, killing another 22 people. A member of the public, later identified as a local 48 year old Meikan herder named Huar fatally wounds one of the terrorists with his hunting rifle, identified as 23 year old Deng Beishan. Huar was immediately killed by another terrorist.

Approximately 13:25 - Local police arrive on scene and a shootout began between them and the terrorists. One officer, 36 year old Arshan, was killed on scene.

13:28 - All three remaining terrorists were killed, identified as 25 year old Cai Yongbei, 20 year old Jin Songling, and 24 year old Kang Acheng.

16:00 - Radical Pure Light Liuganism group "Pure Light Militia" claims responsibility for the attacks.

BARKADIAN PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Following our revolution, we have begun to consider our current position. We are surrounded, and our only meaningful ally has a small presence while being halfway across the world. Although our military is stronger than ever, it is not fully able to stop an invasion with the overbearing amount of soldiers from the MT. We need someone who is closer, able to respond faster, and aid us significantly. Although Anderia is a close friend of our nation, we need to look elsewhere as well for allies. Today after days of heated debate in The Council conducted a vote on the nation remaining in the UoP, 627-373 against, we will immediately begin withdrawing from the Union of Proletarians. Another vote was requesting on joining the Union of Revisionists, which was quickly discussed and voted on with 802-198 in favor. As such, we issue an offcial request to join the UoR to the Zhioubin government, and we hope we are welcomed with open arms. We also hope that nations remaining in the UoP stay close friends to our nation, as the revolution everywhere must be protected. This move was met with optimism from most Barkadians, which believe that having active more militarized allies will aid in our protection. Time can only tell how this decision will affect us. Political turmoil in our country !

After the protestations against the recent entry of Edusa in the CDN and the oil extraction facility project by nomads and several left winged politic groups, the Prime minister started a speech announcing that "Edusa will honor the promises made to her military, economic and diplomatic allies". He was soon stopped by the crowd watching it screaming insults and death threats, notably "Death to the new slavers" (according to Mrs Elurrondo) and throwing garbages and other objects at him. The Prime minister was only slightly injured at the right knee but two Official Guards as well as four rioters are in a critical state after some gunshots coming from the crowd and the guards returning fire with flashballs and tear gas grenades. At least 24 people have been arrested according to the Edusan Polizia (Edusan Police).
The AS denied all involvement in a public announcement but refused to answer our questions as did the other political groups involved in the protests.
General Harri Arduratsua evoked the possibility of applying martial law if "such disgusting events" happen again.
The King appeared saddened but firm today:
"They have the opportunity to ask for a referendum and vote on such issue but they prefer violence, we won't cede to these peoples, if they want violence, if they put our citizens in danger, we will answer strongly and if they stay on these bloody tracks, our brave soldiers will have to take part in a fratricidal conflict and will not hesitate to put down those who threaten democracy, our citizens and our country."

An explosion occured aboard the USS Sentinel at around 9:30 Central Serthenian Time tonight, with flames quickly engulfing the incomplete nuclear carrier. Evacuation notices have been issued for the surrounding area, although officials maintain that they are preemptive and that "no dangerous radiation leaks have occured." Residents within the 20km evacuation zone are urged to leave as quickly as possible, leaving behind personal belongings so as to not spread potential contamination.

The loss of the Misriah Shipyards, however temporary, will inflict a large blow on the Kerthenian Navy, as it is the only shipyard capable of building their Endurance-class stealth carriers - one of which just blew up.

While it is unknown what exact stage of construction the new carrier was in due to security regulations, analysts suspect that the ship was in the final stages of construction, when the reactor is fueled and internal furnishings are being installed throughout the ship. It is likely that equipment being used to install heavy equipment inside the ship somehow malfunctioned, causing the conflagration that has engulfed the ship. Kerthenian officials have not ruled out sabotage, and as of this moment their military is at DEFCON 2.

Several workers who were near the source of the explosion remain in critical condition.

One woman who lives near the shipyard recounts the first moments of the disaster.

"Well I woke up to get me a cold pop and then I heard a big bang at them shipyards. I said oh lord Jesus it’s a fire. Then I heard the sirens and I ran out, I didn’t grab no shoes or nothin’ Jesus, I ran for my life."

Eyewitness reports describe flames shooting out of the open hatches of the ship, along with several secondary explosions occuring in the minutes after the blast.

4:55 AM CST July 1st - Officials confirmed that there was, in fact, a radiation leak, admitting that the explosion damaged the reccently fueled reactor aboard the Sentinel. The evacuation zone has been temporarily increased to 40km as a "precautionary measure."

Today, the Central Politburo of the Communist Party has convened and have decided, that the extremely friendly nation of Barkadia should be accepted with no question into the Union of Revisionists. Our friendly nations have been in dialogue for an extended period of time on this topic, and we are very pleased that the valiant government of Barkadia have decided to join our nation, and the nation of Kheyaus, in an unbreakable union of people's. We hope with this new development that we can further our already good relationship with both of our nations. We would like to also continue our various arms and trade deals with Barkadia, we in the future may be sending more military hardware to the nation's military. Rocket Launch Off-Schedule: Malfunction or Rescheduling?

An anonymous source, the same source who informed us of the planned launch in the first place, has updated us on the planned launch. It seems to have been delayed, although the source is not at liberty to provide more specific information. However, investigative journalist Sarah Fields was dispatched to investigate the launch site after receiving word of the delay. After taking numerous pictures of the launch site, she noticed some damage to certain componentry outside of the rocket, rather than any damage to the rocket itself.

The images we’ve seen indicate that the fueling system that was planned to fill up the rocket was damaged somehow. On the fuel pump outside of the rocket, a small black spot can be seen on one side, with some material flayed outwards from the spot. The direction of the flaying indicates that something inside of the tank caused it to burst, rather than outside, although it’s currently unknown what specifically happened. We have reached out to Matthews Space Technology Centre and the Agency for Exploration of Space, but have not received any further comments.

Lack of Involvement in the Vespa Jet Project

Barkadia and Barkadians are close with the government of Serria. Our relationship transcends ideology. They have requested for us to participate in their new Vespa SST project, hopefully providing important components. However, we have forgotten their request, due to more important circumstances relating to our nation. Due to the fallout mostly fading away, we are ready to start aiding the project. We offer our skills in avionics and systems to the project. Hopefully, this can expose our skill in another avenue of technology, and provide help in future openings in other projects.

Military aid to Kheyaus

The People's Republic of Kheyaus and Barkadia have had shaky relations before and after 2005, mainly due to negative opinions of the government of the nation. It was considered hard to approach the nation due to its closed off status. Recently, due to us joining the UoR, we have access never before had, and we have decided that continuing to view Kheyaus as a purely bad nation is pointless. Finally, after years of leaving them alone, our governments have begun working together. We have offered a limited amount of T-72 tanks, in exchange for genetically modified rice, which would be able to survive the colder environments of Barkadia. We hope that in exchange of modern tanks, our population can be fed easier while expanding the palates of Barkadians. This is all for now.

Čovost, Komsomivszk Governorate - Several first responders have been killed, and many others wounded during an apparent terror attack on a nuclear power plant in Čovost this morning, according to a statement by the National Guard. The terrorist group or groups involved with the attack have not yet released any information or manifesto, but are believed to have had several rallies across the country calling for a race war utilizing nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.

The plant in question was constructed in the 1970s and was scheduled for decommission in early 2019, and has been the subject of numerous protests due to it's outdated design and limited security. Nuclear experts regard the threat of meltdown as a result of the attack to be unlikely, and sources within Stratmiskom suggest that the attack is most likely a show of force and intent. Stratmiskom representatives say that Anderia has for decades been running on energy that is easily shattered by malice and that this poses a grave and growing threat to national security.

It is at this point unknown if any fuel rods have been stolen from the plant, but it is believed that with the ultimate lack of effective security at the plant the attack could have also been a cover to steal materials to make dirty bombs or even a crude nuclear device. There is presently concern about the possible detonation of a small, crude nuclear weapon by a militant group in a major city, with significant loss of life in the future. National Transit Initiative Launched
Our infrastructure consists of countless relics from previous, inefficient renditions of the Motherland, led first by fascist imperials and then by foolish capitalists. Terror Attack in Anderia
A group of far-right capitalist extremists have attacked a nuclear power plant in Anderia this morning, leaving dozens of first responders and employees dead. This attack is undoubtedly the first of many such assaults on Anderian society, and a fear of nuclear terrorism in now present throughout the country. This is a terrible accident for all of the country, and despite our differences, our condolences go to our socialist comrades. Nonetheless, let this be a harsh reminder of what could happen if you let the diseases of unorthodoxy fester in your nation for too long. According to Anderian media, these people had been holding racist protests for months, yet the State did nothing. The individual's delusions of grandeur and desire to upset society gets innocent people killed. If Anderia had stricter ideological laws, an attack like this would never have the opportunity to start in the first place. Presidential Race
The results are in for the presidential race, and frankly it is what was expected. With a 60% eligible voter turnout in the election this is an unprecedented amount of voters for the election and most analysts placed the expected turnout at around 40%. Receiving a majority 69% vote Candidate Krenos will become the next president for Mon Faira and will begin the transition stage shortly as President Elect and assuming the office on October 8th. Not winning however is Yerik Erzhanev, who received a vote of 30%, this low vote amount is likely because of his former dealings with the wretched Lorbic Imperial Front. The other 1% of the vote went to citizens writing in names for other politicians, or independents.

Galeta oil spill cleanup
The cleanup for the catastrophic oil spill in Aquarius last month is underway. The 70,000 tonnes of crude oil, and the Galeta itself are being cleaned up or salvaged thanks to many volunteers, coast guard units, maritime salvage teams, and the great cooperation between Aquarius and Mon Faira in the wake of this catastrophe. The damage to the local ecosystem how ever will take time to recover and the affected area is unlikely to fully recover for years to come.

Terror Attack in Anderia
The recent terror attack in Čovost, Anderia, is truly shocking. A right wing terror group has attacked a nuclear plant and has possibly stolen nuclear fuel rods. The implications of these fuel rods are terrifying, as it could allow this group to construct dirty bombs or a nuclear device and use it in a population center to great effect. The attack left many innocents dead and injured in order to cause future harm to civilians in the world.

Despite the numerous delays involved with troop and materiel transportation and allocation, we have finally begun the opening
engagements in the offensive. So far, we have remained conservative in our attack, however by next week we expect to have made
a considerable amount of progress. Our hopes of bypassing Kerthenian/CDN airspace to deploy troops to the area designated to
serve as Landing Zone Ikari-Gendoh did not come to fruition, and our aircraft were intercepted and turned around. As such, we
believe that we must rule out the possibility of reaching out to Kheyaus and Zhioubin for offensive cooperation in the
Ostreich moving forward. Unfortunately, the bulk of the plan involving strikes on the FRO as originally intended also received
pushback from political officers with significant sway over military affairs, and at the present it seems that the missile
strike plan has gotten entrenched in bureaucratic limbo and will not be a possibility in the near future.



So far, because we have not engaged the FRO in any way and do not expect to moving forward, divisions from Army Group South
are being diverted to Army Group North as we no longer regard Klathu as a significant threat. The infantry divisions in Army
Group North have also been doing well, however the limited training of DRO forces has lead to avoidable attrition, desertion,
and there are currently investigations by Anderian political officers into the behaviours of certain DRO troops regarding
harassment of civilians. That being said, many DRO troops have performed admirably in the field in spite of limited training
and in some cases limited equipment.

Terror attack in the Harebeltz district, 17 killed, 57 wounded !

Yesterday afternoon, 4 masked man equiped with assault rifles attacked the worker and prospection settlement of the future oil facility.

At 12:20, a red truck arrived from E85 road from the Town of Hasita according to several person who witnessed that vehicle. 4 masked man holding unknown assault rifles jumped out the truck and opened fire on the cantina (a big tent) where workers and prospectors were taking their lunch, killing 12 persons and injuring 62 others. Police officers Legea and Orden came out of their little police building to see what was happening. They were immediatly targeted and killed by the terrorists who screamed "Edusa liberoa ! " [Free Edusa ! ] according to witnesses. One of the cantina's wounded managed to call the police and a military assault team was immediatly dispatched via armed transport helicopter. They arrived on the scene as the terrorist were killing the wounded workers. Two terrorists who come out to see what was the noise were immediatly killed by the helicopter's machinegunner. The two others ran to their car and managed to escape despite several bullet hits on the vehicle. It was later found on a roadside, crashed into a rock with the dead body of one of the terrorist who collapsed from blood loss following a bullet wound in the leg. Patrols have been dispatched to find the last one.
In total 17 persons have been killed, including one Serrian citizens named Lorenzo Alfombri according to the papers found on his body. 57 persons were wounded and 13 are still in a critical state while 21 will be able to leave the hospital tomorrow. A psychological help has been offered to the wounded and victim's family while the body of the dead Serrian citizen will be sent back to his nation with the apologies and condolences of the Edusan government.

Investigations already begun on the area of the attack and around the crashed vehicle. The Foreign Minister declared that any information will be shared with the Serrian goverment as two of the three unknown assault rifles used by the terrorists and found on the scene were sent to the Serrian Archipelago this morning alongside Mr. Alfombri's body. The future of the oil facility is now uncertain.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Armies decided to raise the nation alert level to A-3 (out of 5) and subsequently authorized the police forces to equip balistic protection and carry shotguns and carbines. The Assembly will vote tonight to set up the martial law in the country as the riots are groing stronger and stronger.

COMMANDER: "And you think it has enough supplies to fix our current supply problem?"
LIEUTENANT: "Well, no, but me and some of the other officers believe it should have enough for us to mount an offensive against the Dolfik base at Scaff, which as you are probably already aware, is one of their major supply distribution hubs, capturing it would in turn enable us to go on further offensives against the Dolfiks, capture more supplies, liberate more territory, and turn this into a real war."
COMMANDER: "We'll this in more detail later, but until then, consider yourself to have my approval to begin preparing your unit for a raid on this convoy."

Greetings.

In the Harebeltz district of Edusa yesterday, four masked men wielding BR-82 assault rifles (confirmed by Carabinieri as BR-82s), assaulted a peaceful settlement of workers planning on constructing an oil production facility. Unfortunately, seventeen innocent lives were murdered, and fifty-seven were wounded. This story would be tragic nonetheless, but it involves a Serrian citizen. This man was a father of four and moved temporarily to Edusa to pay for his family in our largest city, Vellina. His name was Lorenzo Alfombri; he was forty-two years old and worked for the PetroSer company based in Vellina. Earlier today, his four sons commented on the loss, stating "H-he was a great father, a p-peaceful man... he cared for us. I don't know why anyone would kill him.. h-he always helped people when he could. He even went to Edusa to make money for us so we could live comfortably. It's been h-hard for us." Lorenzo also donated ten percent of his annual income to the Order of Serria's programs for the poor, showing that Mr. Alfombri was truly a man of God.

Tragically, those four masked men executed this man in cold blood, using weapons supposedly directly from Barkadia, as evidence provided by an Edusan investigation believe that these weapons were provided by a Barkadian entity. Our partners in Barkadia will understand that the people of Serria demand an investigation at once, and if it is found that Barkadia continues to supply these terrorists killing men like Lorenzo, there will be serious economic consequences. This thorough investigation must be completed by the end of this month. Minister of Foreign Affairs Yuri Manderro added on, stating during a briefing, "We are willing to work with authorities and agencies from around the world on this situation to assist, but we are willing to apply pressure to foreign entities to ensure that we as a people can get to the bottom of the situation... if need be and shown to be necessary we will extend the hard deadline if shown good reason, but Serria is willing to enforce its demands. The people and state of Serria believe this is an attack on what it means to be Serrian, and we are taking this matter very seriously."

The Grand Master commented on the situation, "This is an unprecedented attack on our civilians and our people... and we must make sure it never happens again. However, we request that the Edusan government does not end the oil program, as we cannot cave into the demands of the terrorists. Ending the program would be having all of these dead lose their lives in vain. We must increase security, but not end their great, outstanding work. It will improve the quality of life for those in Edusa and the rest of the citizens of the world. With permission of the Edusan government, we may deploy Carabinieri to protect the site." Minister-President Sofia Moretti also commented on the matter, adding, "We must set the precedent that we as Serrians must bond together when one of ours is killed around the world. We are brothers and sisters of the Lord, and people of peace. We must get to the bottom of this horrible tragedy, and make sure that no one dares cross that line again. The death of Mr. Alfombri shall not go in vain." Carabinieri's Commanding General Giovanna DeMaggio reassured the people of Serria, reading at a press conference, "We are currently working with the Edusan police and government, as well with our Grand Master to see about deploying our brave carabiniers to secure the site and assure no one else will be hurt. The SDF has also raised the Defense Status to Two. I can completely assure that the people of Serria are safe, and not to panic; the situation is under control." News on the Harebeltz terrorist attack !

Today, Commander Araban, police chief of the Harebeltz district gave us the latest informations on the terror attack that occured three days ago:
- Sadly, the death toll rose to 22 killed including one suicide: Mrs. [REDACTED] who wasn't present when the attack happened couldn't "live without [REDACTED]" according to her last letter.
- The three killed terrorists appear to be members of the Oinezbeltza nomadic tribe. This tribe is known to fiercely fight for its independance and is the second most weaponized nomadic tribe according to a 2017 AB report. Investigation of the AB over the military weapons equiping the commando has been directed toward this tribe.
- The car that was used by the terrorists was stolen in the town of Hasita two days before the attack.

The last terrorist captured !

Yesterday night, the last member of the terrorist commando was captured after she opened fire with what seems to be the same weapon used against the Harebeltz facility on a police car patroling the Senpere town. One police officer was lightly wounded by four bullets, "the car's reinforced frame sufficiently slowed the bullets to allow his ballistic vest to stop them" said Commader Araban. Officer [REDACTED] opened fire with her sidearm, hitting the terrorist twice and knocking her out. "The terrorist should survive her wounds and has been sent to a high security facility to recover and be interrogated". The Minister of Foreign Affairs invited Serrian officials to witness the interrogation that should happen in two days.

The King's speech

Two hours ago, the King made a speech from the Royal Palace, claiming his hatred for the "people only seeking destruction and death" and promising that "our fallen friends, sisters, brothers, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters will be avenged, the people who helped these terrorists will pay". He then warmly thanked the Serrian offers to send Carabinieris to protect the facility that was accepted a few hours ago by the Minister of Armies and promised that the project will keep going, "we mustn't bow in front of these criminals, against them we shall unite and stand firm !". He then appealed to the rioters who started several car fires after the announcement of the terrorist attacks: "Your brothers and sisters are being slaughtered and all you want to do is add more chaos to the situation ? Don't you see how pathetic you are ? Fighting against progress, against your own, you aren't better than those terrorists and their victims are also yours ! HERO-MENIAN CONFLICT RESOLVED

Herulic troops had been advancing swiftly into Kracsis, overrunning and defeating the infamous 7th army before they could slow our advancing army down, which meant our army could advance to the doorstep of the Menian capital. With this, few soldiers in the area, and the threat of Herulic air power, a ceasefire was called while terms would be discussed. Following 2 days of the ceasefire, Herulic and Menian diplomats met in the Herulic capital Thule, to formalize the peace treaty between our nations. almost 4 hours later, the finalized treaty was signed by both parties. Kracsis agreed to the demands made before the war in the form of an official apology and territorial concession to Heruland.

KERTHENIAN NUCLEAR REACTOR ERUPTS
A nuclear reactor exploded yesterday onboard an under construction Kerthenian aircraft carrier. The aircraft carrier was at the time nearing completion and launching, which means other Kerthanian ships using the same reactors could be prone to the similar malfunctions. The Leader, when asked what he thought of this incident answered; "I am not at all surprised. The foundation of the Kerthenian military is built on technology that is prone to malfunctioning and catastrophic failures as we have seen. It's a moat built on toothpicks. I suppose I am happy, knowing that the greatest threat to the Kerthenian military is not a bullet, but a drop of water."
