I'll demote him down to ascending (on mobile), is there a set time limit to sign the treaty? We had someone who peaced out from that around already too.

There is not really a set time limit we have the OOC thread where we decide who we want among us, if they decide not to ratify the treaty then they just don't become members until they do ratify the treaty.

Ok the CU commission is the IC thread so that is already in effect, what is not in effect is the CU parliament however we operate as though it is but the CU parliament drafts and implements a budget for the CU, whilst proposing legislating which the commission accepts and implements (So in this regards and this regards alone, we have operated as though the CU parliament exist in practice, but it exist in theory). We can start the Parliament if all is interested in getting into the lawmaking aspects of the CU and deciding on a CU budget. Another CU branch that is operated in theory but not in practice is the CU court of Justice (I assume in matters of judicial issues then it would arise, I guess a separate thread can be made for it with a proportional amount of judges presides over the courts (We can discuss this more if you guys are interested). Another thing that is yet to take effect in practice but is here in theory is the Cooperative Council, which is really our annual CU summit. I know Travencia is looking to do a trade summit but that would not constitute as the Cooperative Summit as for this summit we discuss a range of issues and draw ideas to build and advance the Union.

I have been really busy this week but I will be free over the weekend and subsequent days following that so Travencia if you want to host the trade summit you are free to and I will be available for that.

No worries covonant I totally get how RL can slow ya down and take over. Maybe we don't trigger parliament until we have a few more members. I think Ipland is working on some back story/info of the CU court of justice, but its logical to assume that's be the first system to really get tested.

I figure we'll keep the trade summit going for another week or so. I plan on launching the stock exchange (TEX) Monday, and I'm kinda glad I got to pick some brains for corporations and companies. I've been trying to research some of our member currencies while also reading up on how the EU did it in the early days (which is kinda interesting to an American).

The Mercator Project would represent an IC RP of GPS/GLONASS/Galileo but in a slightly more condensed and unique to our world sorta way. The project itself would only be feasible in a multi-national setting like the Cooperative Union because of the sheer demographics and economies of scale involved.
