Not what I meant. It is not my job to tell you how your plot ties to the overall plot. It is your job to tell me how you want to be involved. So tell me what info you got and I will let you know if it makes sense.

Technically its not torture, but more of a tell us whatever info you have, and if you don't we snap your legs and if you don't tell us after that we shoot you and move onto the next one.

Think about it. If I am breaking your fingers, one by one, and asking you to tell me something, and that I will stop if you tell me that thing, you are going to say the thing JUST to have your fingers stop being broken, right or wrong. Furthermore, torture treats memory like a sponge: squeezing it gets you more. But that's not necessarily the case. Forcing someone to try and remember things is more likely to produce false or skewed memories as people try and imagine details into existence that weren't there before, or their memories are affected by investigator bias.
