Monday the 19th of December 2016:

While chaos surrounding the downing of the Foreign Minister's plane continues, the Royal Convoy of Mfalme (King) Hodari IV, the King of the Njengi, arrives at Leboa-Seko, the military headquarters of Kyrantian operations in Nchiyamengi. News of the downed plane has caused additional security to be sent through, and a high number of elite King's Guard are present.

Once in the bounds of the base, security open the door of the bullet proof black Limousine of the King. The 21 year old Hodari IV steps out with his girlfriend, the tanned and olive eyed 19 year old Lyserian-Nchiyamengian swimmer and model Sara Sebo. The young King is accompanied by his head of security, the huge 2 meter tall Vicente Mzariba, his chief adviser the 67 year old Bwana (Lord) Atukuzwe Mkalalfajiri, his Royal Secretary Alejandro Mkalalfajiri, his close friend the 21 year old noble Tiago Umememti and Tiago's girlfriend the 19 year old Njengi model Utamu Upangadhahabu .

Hodari IV walked with a luxurious slow pace, his arm wrapped around the skimpily dressed Sara and shadowed by the huge Vicente, and extended a soft hand to the leader of whomever the Kyrantians had sent to meet him. "Presenting his Highness the Mfalme of the Njengi, Hodari the 4th of the Royal House of Kifalmesimba, Protector and Ruler of all the Njengi, Chosen of God, rightful inhabitant of the gold lion throne" declared Alejandro Mkalalfajiri loudly. Hodari said to whomever it was receiving him in a lazy fashion "thank you for having me, this is my girlfriend, Sara" Sara reached out a hand to shake, "my good friend Tiago" Tiago reached out a hand, "his girlfriend Utamu", she reached out a hand, "and my chief advisor Bwana Atukuzwe, of the house of Mkalalfajiri".

3:00 PM - Monday the 19th of December 2016:

The Office of the Presidency and the "United Churches for Salvation" (a collection of pro-loyalist Churches) has issued a joint statement calling for a day of National Prayer tomorrow, Tuesday the 20th of December 2016. This day is set to give people a time to reflect on and remember all those killed in acts of violent terrorism, and to "pray for the salvation of this nation from terrorist evil".

Oliver Tambossa said as the soldiers in Leboa-Seko were ready for everything, their only mission was to protect the King and Tambossa.

5:05pm - Monday the 19th of December 2016:

A large trawler ship has been borrowed to the Nchiyamengian coast guard by a pro-loyalist Businessman to help remove the wreckage of the downed plane of the Foreign Minister. It is now considered "beyond belief" that any on the plane survived the explosion and subsequent crash into the ocean.

5:36pm - Monday the 19th of December 2016:

The Rebel alliance of the FPRL, PLD, MSI and PSP have issued a joint statement along with a collection of pro-Rebel churches known as "The Churches for Freedom" and a group of pro-rebel Mosques known as the "The Mosques for Freedom" calling for tomorrow, Tuesday the 20th of December 2016, to be a day to "Remember Kubwamti". They are calling for peaceful protests and peaceful marches to remember the civilians killed by the Kampiya regime, particularly those killed in the firebombing of Kubwamti. They have also recalled the killing the Njengi priest Padre Lucas Mzabi.

This is a clear response to the decision by the Office of the Presidency and the "United Churches for Salvation" (a collection of pro-loyalist Churches) to declare tomorrow as a day of National Prayero give people a time to reflect on and remember all those killed in acts of violent terrorism, and to "pray for the salvation of this nation from terrorist evil" This comes along with the Kampiya regime viewing all rebel groups as terrorists.

5:44pm - Monday the 19th of December 2016:

A private trawler used by emergency services has pulled the wreckage of the Foreign Minister's plane from the Kenyan Channel and is beginning to bring it back to Puertazul to be investigated and to find the cause of the explosion that caused it to go down. The wreckage is first being investigated on the ship to see if any bodies can be found. It is incredibly likely that none on board survived the explosion and subsequent crash into the ocean.

"Honey" said Sara, "don't forget his present".

"Oh yes of course", said Hodari, "bring the gift" he said to his Royal Secretary Alejandro Mkalalfajiri. Alejandro motioned and a well dressed man in a suit came forward with a steel case. Alejandro opened the case and revealed a gold plated IMI Desert Eagle inside. "For a military man with a more refined taste" said Hodari with a smile. "Nchiyamengian gold worked on by the finest Nchiyamengian goldsmiths to ensure that the mechanism doesn't suffer, and a layer of gold thin enough to not add too much weight, a beautiful piece of art and weapon of death".

The Honorable James Carter, Minister of Finance

He looked over the statement made by the Union of Kyrat. This would be quite the blow to the Albatanian economy. However, with the economic support of nations in the Coalition, the Albatanian economy would stay afloat without to much of a recession. He called a meeting with several advisers,

Carter: Alright gents, we have our selves a problem. The Union of Kyrat has imposed sanctions on us because they are under the delusion we are supporting the rebellion. We need to make it clear our reasons for the embargo, regardless of what might already be thought.

Head Economist: But isn't Kyrat like one of the top five economies in Asia?

Carter: That is true, however, we need to put that aside, if we don't react quickly we could be facing a long terms recession.

Royal Reserve Chairmen: The Royal Reserve can begin an expansionary monetary policy and the government can loosen a few regulations to balance out our GDP, if we to the math right we can avoid a recession altogether.

Carter: "Right, but we want to avoid loosening regulation for now, we should start be making our reasons clear to see if we can't convince Kyrat to rethink crippling our small economy."

A statement was to be broadcast on AMPE News the following day.

JAMES CARTER ON THE KYRAT SANCTIONS
The Ministry of Finance had made a statement in regards to the recent sanctions being imposed by the Union of Kyrat. Minister James Carter had this to say 'The Union of Kyrat had made a grave error preying on weaker nations such as Albatan. We have imposed sanctions in the name of fair trade. It is rumored throughout the globe that the working conditions of Nchiyamengi are disastrous and we cannot support such a cruel nations economy. We have no comment on rebel activity and will not be aiding the rebellion directly in any way. Thank you.' And there you have it folks, Albatan on the verge of recession? Will the Royal Reserve step in the boost the economy? All this and more coming your way as it happens.

Next up, an examination of the Clossonist Party and the Fourteen Year Plan.

She had her head between her hands, no one was safe in Nchiyamengi, she wanted to know what had happened to the family... they where on the plane to weren't they. She began to cry, she had been invited to a meeting about the Kyrat sanctions, but she was to distraught to go. She blew her nose for the final time, she had to get it together, what could they do now? Albatan was mostly powerless to do much in this conflict. When the rebellion to control, there would be bloodshed and no one in the Kampiya Regime would be spared. Rightly so, they where to enemy, maybe they didn't deserve Albatan's help. She decided to forget the incident for now, push it from her mind and get back to work.

The sanctions where put up, now they needed to get back to work. They received a transmission from the Special Forces director, they where to move to the border of Mlimayamaisha and Puertazul to conduct sabotage mission between the loyalist help and rebel help territories. If they could weaken the path then the rebellion could more quickly and easily take Puertazul. He hopped. They headed off without a word to anyone and set forth on a lonely trek southward through the jungles of Mwinukomwamba.

For whom it may concern,

According to Albatanian Fair Trade policy, any nations that we suspect do not meet reasonable and humane standards cannot benefit from trade with Albatan. We where going to discuss ending the sanctions with Nchiyamengi, but their delegation... was unable to attend. Until we are certain Nchiyamengi has reasonable labor laws, that are actually enforced, we cannot support them or any party in Nchiyamengi at all.

Thank you for understanding,

The Kyratian Volunteers were alert for any activity of rebels, so it seems they were a valuable target before conquering Purtezul since they are going to participate in the battle, they have also defeated a few notable band of insurgents, so sabotaging their activity in their HQ (Leboa-Seko), will work.

The Volunteers welcomed the Kyratian Hunters, which are a unit trained in wildlife situations are ready to sabotage PSP activity or any other Major rebel activity. They have arrived in Leboa-Seko.

OOC: Also, Leboa-Seko is kind hard to find, since they rarely show their location, so please, nobody should say that they quickly arrived to Leboa-Seko.

IC: Wapenzi Mayagisha quietly watched the man. He could here him stumbling from a little way off, and had approached quietly to see who it was. The 8 year old Busetsu boy had fled the small refugee settlement when GI fighters had burned it to the ground, and had fled with his little 6 year old sister Maua. They had been separated from their parents and siblings and had run. They had found the bodies of all but there mother later after the settlement was raised to the ground and the fighters had moved on. Where their mother was they did not know. The settlement had been small, isolated and off the books, settled by Busetsus driven from their villages by loyalists and Njengi militia as they were suspected of aiding the FPRL. The attack had been missed by everyone in the chaos, only the GI and those who had survived it knowing anything about it.

Wapenzi had lived off the jungle for now, eating berries, roots and insects, feeding himself and his little sister. The survival of him and her was all that mattered to him now, and for about two months he had been the closest thing to a parent she had. They had seen the occasional poachers, soldiers or fighters moving through but had avoided them, they could not trust if they were friend or foe.

Wapenzi had thought the stumbling was that of an injured animal, perhaps a smallish antelope. He had taken an abandoned knife from underneath a ruined makeshift hut from the settlement after it had been burned and had tied it to a stick to make a spear. If it had been a small injured antelope he could kill it and help feed him and his sister. Instead he saw a lost white man in a uniform he did not know.

Wapenzi considered just leaving the man, another danger in the jungle, but he decided against it. Perhaps it was because he had been the adult to long and wanted someone more senior, perhaps it was because he thought the man might help him find his parents, perhaps it was just because he thought the man might have chocolate. A white American tourist had come to his village years ago when he was 4 and she had given all the kids chocolates, and since then he had associated the white people he saw, a rare sight in the isolated village (mostly priests, farmers and the occasional tourist) with the sweet taste of chocolate, even though the white farmers more commonly swore at him in Spanish than gave any gifts.

Wapenzi moved forward and spoke out loudly "hola señor". He didn't know much Spanish, and had only picked up a bit from the white farmers, and for the most part spoke Swahili, but he spoke enough to communicate the basics, if the man spoke Spanish or at least understood it.

OOC: I say I’m going to have this up within a few hours and instead I take a few days. I need to either learn how to not make false promises or keep the promises I make.

Lt. Allan Fox, Jungles of Mwinukomwamba:

Allan’s senses must be rusting if he hadn’t heard the boy coming before the boy heard him. Then again, he was more than a little bit out of his element in this strange land.

Allan looked up, and suddenly there was a boy among the trees. He could not have been more than ten years of age, but at first glance Allan thought him much older. Perhaps that’s why the thought didn’t jump into the soldier’s head that there was a settlement nearby. This child didn’t look very physically dirtied or battered, but the way he carried himself was much more reminiscent of the parade square than the school yard. His voice sounded more like a sentry hailing a suspicious vehicle than a curious child.

But after getting over the shock of the boy’s presence and condition, Allan was faced with a much more practical issue. The boy was speaking Spanish, a language Allan had very little knowledge of despite its fluency being something that was being looked for in volunteers for the mission to Nchiyamengi. All the soldier could do was return the greeting and stand awkwardly, wondering what the child wanted.

Albatanian Investigation Team, Airplane to Nchiyamengi, Puertazul, Nchiyamengi
Inspector Charles Chaplin

The Inspector stepped out of the airport in Puertazul. He walked swiftly with his investigation team across the street to a car rental store, they bought a smaller car and went on the road, checking for anything suspicious before leaving, they didn't want to make a car bomb of themselves. Chaplin at the wheel they made their way to the closest road to the Kenyan Channel and then hopped out of the car and began walking to the wreckage.

OOC: If the abruptness of this is in anyways compromised by loyalist security then assume we stopped part way through the post, whatever is realistic in your eyes Nchiyamengi.

Dr. J. Harkins, Arcadian Aid corp
He looked over the tent and injured civilians were everywhere, the recent chemical attacks were bad and the small Arcadian peace keeping detachment was fighting in small dust offs. The Arcadian carrier group would be leaving in a few weeks, and he wondered why they were needed.

SM. Aurthur Scott, Carrier group 6
Off the coast of Nchiyamengi

He sat on the deck of the Arcadian carrier and looked at the ocean. He was a Seaman in the Arcadian navy, and he was happy he didn't have to see combat. He heard of Arcadian patrols being ambushed and he saw some of the injuries.

sherri black
Marigold city, Arcadia

She closed her car door and went to the trunk. She started grabbing groceries and she brought them inside. As she walked in she was met by her dog and she closed the door. She soon put the groceries on the counter and turned on the tv and it talked about carrier group 6 retyrning back to port. She knew the port was only a few miles outside of town and the Arcadian Naval station has been different. She worked as a nurse in the nearby hospital and she usually has a view of the port

Monday the 19th of December 2016:

The charred and destroyed remains of all those on board have been removed from the wreckage, the number added up to those on board, and the wreckage has been brought in for investigation at a military base in Puertazul. The dental records of the remains are being examined as they are the only remaining feature to really be able to identify the bodies.

The seating and size of the remains has allowed investigators to match up most, but dental records are being checked to double check and to identify some of the crew, who had moved around during the short flight.

The bodies of all those on board will be given a heroes burial tomorrow, when a new Minister of Foreign Relations is expected to be announced.

OOC: That's fine. I'd just assume if they were coming to investigate they would organise with the Kampiya regime and go and investigate at the military base where the wreckage of the plane have been moved to. If not ignore the IC, if so go with it.

IC: At the military warehouse in Puertazul where the wreckage of the plane had been moved to they were met by a group of Nchiyamengian Coast Guard, some engineering and explosives experts and an agent with the Ministry of National Security, a tall, skinny Njengi in a fancy suite with sharp eyes.

"Good evening" said the agent holding out a hand in greeting, "Agent Maroon, I handle any assassination threats and attempts made against the President or upper leadership, so as you can imagine it has been quite a busy day. You must be the team from Albatan".

OOC: No problem.

IC: Wapenzi eyed the man's gun warily, but as he made no motions to aim it at him he moved forward slowly, putting down his makeshift spear of a stick with a knife tied to it. The man had given no response, so he probably did not speak Spanish. Wapenzi tried Swahili hopefully, just in case.

"Je, wewe ni waliopotea bwana? Je, unahitaji msaada wa kupata mji?"

He kept on walking forward looking for anyone else with the soldier, he saw no one "Je, uko pekee yako?"

Still hearing no response he looked to see if the man had any food, "Kuwa chakula chochote?"

He still wasn't sure if the man was pro-government or pro-rebel "Kampiya au Hlayambinda?" he asked.

agent Carter
He waited for the loyalist officials in the lobby of their intelligence agency building, and he looked over his tablet. He was going to arrange the drop of a small nuclear warhead that can fit in a small suitcase. It was up to the loyalists to use it or not. The last of the chemical weapons were inbound and soon, Arcadia will just stick to peace keeping. He looked out the window and saw the Arcadian convoy outside that had brought him here.

OOC: No. What part of "no nukes" did you not understand? Also how is a nation handing over a nuclear warhead to an African nation to use in a civil war in any way realistic?

Inspector Charles Chaplin

Chaplin: "Yes, that would be us! Now, can I be filled in about what your team had been able to find yet?"

Agent Maroon calmly lit a cigarette and offered to the Chaplin and his team. He dragged on it deeply and let out a small puff of smoke. "The plane was sabotaged with explosives hidden close to the engines. There was a timed detonation, set to blow up at 12:45 so we believe, enough to ensure all on board were so and were killed even if there was a slight schedule delay. The explosives used appear to be the kind that the FPRL use most frequently, a mix of that stolen from us and that which their international backers provide to them. Of course it is possible that GI fighters might have stolen it from the FPRL and used it instead. Whoever it was, it seems they got wind of the planned conference and didn't want it to go ahead, wanted to ensure the embargoes remained".

Taking another deep drag on his cigarette Agent Maroon said, "should have a new Minister of Foreign Relations by tomorrow, I've heard some rumours of who it might be, if it is who I've heard it will be he will head off to this conference of yours unabated, but we'll be making doubly sure there aren't any more nasty surprises in his aircraft".

Another long drag and Agent Maroon said "we suspect the explosives were planted by some Busetsu soldiers or maintenance staff here on base sympathetic to the FPRL, that or Muslim staff radicalised by the GI. Either way some have gone in for questioning, we should know soon".

OOC: This nuke only can destroy 3 city blocks and is mainly used to spread radiation so that is why we are handing it over.

OOC: No nukes means no nukes, no matter how minuscule they are. Handing one over would make Nchiyamengi the only African nation with a nuclear weapon since South Africa destroyed their ones. That is not realistic, and nor is a foreign nation (of which only the USA, China, Russia, UK, France, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea have in the real world) handing one over realistic, no matter how tiny it is.
