Images of the damage to the Parliament building in Puertazul are coming out, which was set alight by protestors last night. Official sittings of Parliament have been called off until the building can be repaired. In the mean time, high ranking MPs will be meeting with Presidente Marcos Kampiya and his cabinet in the Presidential Palace in Puertazul.

It has also been confirmed that the headquarters of the PLD, 'Casa de la Libertad' - 'Freedom House', have been raided by police and have been closed off by them as a crime scene facing investigation.

All 12 MPs of the PLD were at the talks in Kiev, and so none of the 12 have been detained. They are the 12 most high ranking members of the party. All 12 dare not return to the Republic now however.

Due to the relative civility of the combatants amid the violence in Nchiyamengi, The Green Union had chosen not to comment on this situation. However, the banning of the PLD represents the breaking of the last straw of credibility of the standing government.

The Green Union condemns the undemocratic governance of the UP in the banning of the country's only substantial opposition party.

The Green Union is imposing sanctions on Nchiyamengi and warns that she will provide backing to rebel groups if the PLD is not reinstated to the parliament.

Furthermore, a request has been sent to Socialist Federative Slavia requesting a Loyalist delegation be permitted to meet with the 12 MP delegation in Kiev to discuss the situation in their home country and the possibility for Union support for their cause.

In any case the TNS Hope will be escorted by two Ranger-class Destroyers, this is standard operating procedure for any Thermodolian hospital ship entering a war zone. These ships are only for defensive escort purposes and will not fire unless fired upon.

We would also propose that you set up a medical centre outside the Internally Displaced Person (IDP) camps in Kusinimwapwani Province in the south, here those civilians injured by rebel forces can also be treated. The rebel terrorists have no territory, but rather these cowardly terrorists hide in the jungles and mountains. Commander Rye Dæs stood on the bridge of the Valiant staring out at the sea in deep thought. Only a few hours ago they had received orders that the medical operation was a go. All of the ships under her command seemed to be doing well. With the TNS Crusader on the port side, the TNS Marauder on the starboard side, the TNS Hope in the rear, and the TNS Valiant out in front all moving at a nice 20 knots. Commander Dæs wished that they could go faster but the hospital wouldn't be able to keep up, so stuck at 20 knots they remain.

The Dæs was jerked from her thoughts and back into reality by a young Lieutenant.
