Volgan Perimeter, NCSU-Arengin Front
The Warglorians had arrived. Though much smaller in numbers then their Arengin counterparts, they were definitely a much more elite force, as they suddenly sprang into action. The force, totalling in over 9 Divisions of infantry total, and a single Tank Regiment (75 tanks), immediately took to action, as they started occupying defences and supporting their Arenginian allies. All the soldiers on the front lines were wearing Warglorian Snow Uniform, which consisted of white greatcoats, black boots and white helmets.

The troops started setting up artillery such as the new 88 mm anti-tank guns, and bombardment artillery, raining fire upon the NCSU army. The soldiers started joining Arenginian Soldiers in their defence against NCSU soldiers, along with the multitude of Warglorian Tanks advancing with them, firing upon the NCSU. Not only that, but Warglorian Zeppelins started to go into the air, firing machine guns, sniper rifles, and new smaller rockets, though inaccurate, would do massive damage when hitting a large crowd.

Somewhere on the front lines
Peter and Henrich were 2 Warglorian Soldiers who had been transfered to the 5th Warglorian Expeditionary Division, sent to help the Arenginians fight against the NCSU. Now that wouldn't be too bad......if the cold wasn't so bothering. Even though they were wearing Warglorian standard issue snow gear already, it seemed that the designers had camo more in mind then actual protection against warmth, to the bear minimum so they won't freeze to death.

"Gott Im Himmel, it's cold here." Peter said. "I thought you were transfered from one of the Alpine Divisions?" Henrich asked confused. "Ja, doesn't mean I got used to the cold, and it's worse here, it's like -15 degrees here, worse we got in the alps was at least -12, I hope I don't get frostbite." Peter said, continuing to walk with his rifle while hugging himself. "I don't think it's that bad." Henrich replied, walking along Peter. "It's nice here compared to the desert in mein opinion, why they transfered me from the Colonial Regiment, I'll never know." Henrich said.

Peter simply shrugged and continued walking when suddenly he saw someone in the distance. "Who is dere?" The figure said in a thick Arenginian accent. "Warglorian Soldat, we're here to support your forces." Peter said. "Ah, gud, what can I do for you then fellow tovarishch?" The Arenginian Soldier said, lowering his rifle. "Ja, we got separated from our squad, do you know where the 8th Arengin Snow Division is? They're staying with our troops." Henrich asked.

"Very Well, you straight that way, you'll see a burned Ruskie ta-" The Arenginian Said. Suddenly, he was cut off by a bullet as it passed through his head. "Scheisse, get down!" Peter screamed, falling to the ground. Henrich did the same, and aimed his rifle in the general direction of the shot. "Nein, the sniper might think it was him, scheisse, that's unlucky for him." Peter said, gesturing at the now dead Arenginian Soldier. Soon Peter crawled over to the body, and started to slowly strip of his snow coat.

"What the hell are you doing Peter?" Henrich whispered loudly, crawling over to Peter. "Can't you see, I'm grabbing his coat." Peter said, as he removed the Arenginian Soldiers coat off, putting it on. "What in the world man, don't do that that's desecration!" Henrich said, attempting to pull the coat off Peter. Peter shoved him off. "Look, these Arenginians are good in one thing, and that's winter clothing, I already feel my body temperature getting higher." Peter said. "That is messed up, Peter, when our superiors see you wearing our allies clothing they are going to shoot you!" Henrich said.

"Relax, you can't see scheisse in this blizzard, besides, the Arenginians already supplied some to us, so they won't suspect, come on, we don't want to be late for lunch." Peter said, standing up and running. "I hate you sometimes." Henrich mumbled, running after Peter.

With the new addition to the fleet, Raeder advanced into the Martyr Sea commanding a combined Arengin-Warglorian Fleet. Soon they started firing upon any NCSU Naval vessel they saw, as well as blockading ports along Thatcheron.

The Wall, Volga PerimeterS

This section of the wall was always vandalized by nearby thugs, and usually was a part where rebellious teens would be celebrating New Years, by popping military grade dynamite on or very near the wall, all would be chased away by Arenginians. Not this time though, and in the distance, a rumble resonated faintly through the air, barely audible, though it was still heard. Then it stopped, and trepidation fell upon whoever was on that section of the wall... "Poppity pop everybody!" Screamed everyone who were by the source of the rumbling.

A spectacular poppity pop! Followed by the whizz of shells through the air, then after that, the spectacular explosions. Charred chunks of meat that were once part of an Arenginian soldier's body would then begin falling down like rain, and this was repeated, and repeated, and repeated, until a crack formed. Two more salvos, and the walls let go, collapsing in a spectacular vertical column of dust, cement, and blood. "The walls fall!" Was the phrase shouted on that day, as the people of Cthulhu finally proved that their wall was not indestructible.

Soldiers rushed through that very hole, and after some elimination of nearby enemy anti airship guns, the great behemoths of the skies passed though the breach. Some dropped assault troopers on the walls to thoroughly clear them then collapse them.

We Breached It!

At Martyr's Sea and the nearby coasts
OOC Note: The land I am on is another continent, and the continent you are on is another, it would make most sense if they had mountains between them. Because tectonics.

On the area the brave soldiers pillaged, 17,000 men met 50,000. And they would make the battlefield Thermopylae over and over again. The prepared for the unpreventable Thermopylae that would occur almost everywhere. Placing themselves on the tops of cliffs and plateaux that were very steep, as well as positioning themselves on roads that went through mountains and said roads having sharp bends they could use for ambushing.

Coalsun and the Svacic

It was fact that due to the Skartenian dogs that were nearby, Coalsun and the Sibir colonies would be heavily fortified, and thus when the Skartenian devils decided to foolishly charge, oh my, a tempest came by and laid waste on them! There were hailstorms of machine gun fire, and shells throwing up dust and enemy soldiers up into the air.

In the Svacic, due to it being almost a private lake of the NCSU, was totally controlled, and ships blockaded the patch of Arengin Svacic coast, and began bombarding anything that moved on their coast, though not everything as some troops would be landing there. A bigger sea based horde was then spotted in the Svacic, with transports numbering in the hundreds, and closely guarded by warships.

Volgan perimeter, NSCU-Arengin Front

The battle at most sections of the wall had become a stalemate. The Arenginians wanting to make sure they had all available troops and equipment in order to face off the Rusklands. Bruliov ordered the 500,000 to remain defensive position along the wall, however the Volgan perimeter near the bordering Volga river, a deep river that no side dared to cross due to its rapids and freezing temperature.

The Volgan perimeter was breached as thousands of Ruskland soldiers overwhelmed the few Arenginian defenders. They began to flood the Siberian forest at the Arengin territory. This was stopped by the 12th artillery battalion which had several positions deep in the Tsvarak forest. They had several small bunkers and artillery positions. The bunkers mowed down many waves of Ruskland soldiers before they finally stopped.

Artillery positions were also confronting Ruskland attacks, the Arenginians using shrapnel shells to disembowel Ruskland soldiers, the Arenginians used the trees as an improvised weapon, firing piercing shells to the trees which caused them to explode and let out hundreds of sharp wood pieces flying away.

The Arengin army was quick in setting up front lines around the breach area as Arenginian soldiers in white overalls engaged Ruskland soldiers and tanks. Warglorian troops arrived and also began to laid help to the Arenginian army. Several Arenginian tank brigades arrived to also stop the Ruskland advance on Arengin territory.

Commander Bruliov issued an order to the 6th army to mobilize to Skarten, and so it did. Over 180,000 Arenginian soldiers crossed the Skartenan border, cheered by hundreds of fellow slavs who were happy to see their Arenginian brethren come to their help. Armored cars as well as tanks and artillery arrived as well in trains.

The Army commander Colonel Zavragin Stepan arrived to the Capital city of the Aluc province, Rimsa. The Arenginian army began to march to the frontlines to help their Skartenean brothers, many soldiers remained behind in the city as reserves.

NCSU-Arengin Frontlines

The cold was unbearable, despite it barely being fall snow had arrived quickly, and it would get worse by winter. Shells fell on the ground making big craters in the snow, completely quagmiring several acres of the forests. Shattered trees and destroyed tanks and cars from both sides abounded on the front lines as Arenginian and Warglorian soldiers moved quickly through the land, taking cover and avoiding fire.

Andre, Stephano, and Vitaly were three soldiers who came from Riga. The three men were friends since childhood and were now fighting alongside in a war for their homeland. The sound of shells falling down on earth was mind numbing as the tree men ran through the shattered treeline.

The men fell on a deep ditch were they were meet to the relieving sight of Warglorian soldiers, not much older than them. One of them had a thick brown beard and had a face of a man that had seen everything. The other had a goatee and had a cigarette on his mouth, he looked like he was a farm man, one of those hard working men who wouldn't hesitate to kill you if tried to take his chickens. The last one had no facial hair, he looked young, perhaps 19 or 20, also look nervous as he pointed his rifle to the Arenginian men.

"Easy there boy..." Andre said. He was a sergeant, a farmer like the Warglorian in a goatee. He had a mustache and an imposing complexion, though a reservist he was a veteran of the Isles wars. He said the words with much calm but seriousness.

One of the Warglorians shoved the rifle away and slapped the boy in the face, saying something in Germanic. The 6 men stayed in the trench in an awkward silence as shells fell on the surrounding plateau. The 6 men looked tired and very much like they had seen this for years, even though it was barely the beginning of the war.

Then they heard an Ruskland tank coming in their direction, moving quick as artillery missed it several times. It stopped and began to fire several times. The 6 men tried to take cover deeper in the hole as they covered their ears. Andre poke his head out as he saw two Arenginian soldiers approaching the tank from the side. They jumped up to its turret. One in front the other in the back. The hatch opened and a Communist officer got out, he fired his pistol several times at the Arenginian soldiers in the front, killing him. He didn't notice the one in the back who jumped on him and quickly used his shovel to beat him on the head repeatedly until his face looked like mush. The soldier grabbed the officer's pistol as a trophy, threw a grenade inside the tank and closed the hatch. He jumped down and the tank exploded.

Volga Front

Oh me oh my, these were the same conditions the NCSU soldiers in TTI faced! And thus in face of adversity, due to these conditions the war hardened soldiers thrived. They all wore winter camouflage suits, and began hiding everywhere. It was mandatory that a soldier be trained in the way of the sniper, and that training was about to be used at that very moment. Some distinct sounds of rifles and a small muzzle flash emanating from the treeline.

Immediately on the Arenginian side were soldiers suddenly falling down left and right. Snipers, always useful since the dawn of rifles and modern warfare.

Artillery began blowing up anything beyond the river, and their hi-explosive shells would blow anything to smithereens, one such case is an Arenginian artillery piece being replaced with a soot encrusted crater after being hit by a shell. If they missed, snipers would take care of any stragglers and anyone manning the artillery units.

On the subject of the Volga River, sure it was deep and rapid, but was it wide though? And using hacksaws, they cut the trees down and these would then fall to the direction of the river, making a makeshift bridge. Other trees would fall down into the river clogging it and slowing it a little. Many trees were felled, but some died to Arenginian fire.

In the Svacic, troops began landing on Arenginian beaches, with casualties though due to the defenses there beforehand, but these would be dealt with. In Thatcheron, artillery bombarded anything blockading the coast. On Ironton, fearing a Halium naval offensive, some 30 ships or so have been sent to guard, these were pulled from the Sibir colonies.

Volgan Front

The destruction of several artillery pieces was much of a detriment to the Arenginian military however, it didn't stop them from finally getting a good guess at where the enemy artillery was. The combined Warglorian and Arenginian military began to shoot back at the Ruskland attack and non stop it fired and fired again. It most likely had eliminated more artillery pieces of the enemy.

Snipers were a big problem in the frontlines, sneaking through and wrecking havoc. The Arenginian military was quick in commissioning snipers teams of their own to hunt down enemy shooters. The sniper teams were mostly compromised of three and would hide well in the snow, and a top of trees and began to inflict casualties on Ruskland sniper, using the strategy to relocate after killing an enemy sniper. This would make the Rusklands be less bold in their snipping.

Armored cars began to be used extensively along the front, firing machine gun fire from reinforced steel they mowed down rows of Ruskland soldiers, painting the snow red. The Volgan river had not lost the Arenginians attention, the high command was not dumb. They made sure the same artillery positions were still manning and sent several soldiers to intercept any Ruskland advance on the river, the Arenginians knew this territory better than the Rusklands. The Arenginian soldiers hid amongst the snow as they prepared their rifles.

When the Rusklands began to cross they were meet by fire from the treeline. The rifle fire and machine gun fire as well killed many of the Ruskland soldiers in the middle of crossing the river. They fell on the freezing rapids and the Arenginians did not stop. They knew they could not let them cross. Arenginian engineers armed with hatchets began to cut down parts of the makeshift bridge and broke many of them down, some of the engineers were killed by returning fire.

Cavalry began to move quick in order to assist in the frontlines. The Arenginians and Warglorians were doing a great job to keep the Rusklands at bay.

Ecksal

The 150,000 better trained and armed men arrived in time for the Ruskland invasion. The Armored cars began to get in position and so did the soldiers. They relieved the home army soldiers from their post and began to use the machine gun posts and artillery positions to cut down the Rusklands at the beach.

The armored cars did work as they also mowed down the Ruskland soldiers in the beaches. Most beaches in Ecksal were downhill, leading to the beach and up there was bunkers and coastal guns. The Arenginians used this to their advantaged as they fired at the attacking Rusklands with ease.

Imperiat Archipelago (little chain of islands between Imperiat Dominion and Syday)
1898

The Marines had been preparing this campaign for months. The last specks of land they had to conquer were a series of island chains just off the coast and airship reconnaissance had shown the NCSU forces were digging in. 18 Marine Regiments and 3 Armored Car Brigades had been selected for the southern assignment and would land on the islands closest to Imperiat Dominion first, sweeping over the tiny islands in a matter of days before moving on to the larger islands. Warships from Syday and Imperiat Dominion would provide artillery support.
In the north, 24 Marine Regiments and 3 Armored Car Brigades would attack an island chain to the southeast of White Harbor. Six more regiments and the last Armored Car Brigade would invade an island between Rockfell and High Hammer. The NCSU troops lacked the forces necessary to resist the assault in any significant way. 158,520 Marines and 2,275 armored cars are deployed against the NCSU forces, supported by naval bombardment from Dreadnoughts and Battleships.

The Romans were low on equipment by now and the naval bombardments that preceded the assaults devastated their fortifications, weakened by lack of materials. When the first landings commenced, the Romans fire back with what small arms they had available, but largely to no avail. These marines had been battle hardened by eight years of war on the continent and they were well equipped and supported by the Royal Navy and Royal Airship Corps. It would not take long for the islands to fall and, in little less than two months, many of the islands had. However, two large islands east of White Harbor and large island north Solsthem remained in Roman hands. The Marines, weakened only moderately by casualties suffered in the previous two months, consolidated their forces and moved for the remaining islands.

The Marines had been preparing this campaign for months. The remnants of the Roman Empire had fled to a series of island chains just off the coast and airship reconnaissance had shown they were digging in.

OOC: Sorry, but I posted that I overran the Islands between Syday and White Harbor... I'll quote if you want...

Please do so. It's not going to stop me. I'm just going to edit the opponents.

After much research and development, Ottokon Aerospace has managed to create a rocket prototype, instead of conventional solid fuel being used as propellant, the rocket uses liquid fuel in the form of liquid hydrogen, the gaseous form of said element was turned into a liquid by James Dewar, one of the scientists that were sent to Ottokon. The rocket also has a medium sized canister the size of the fuel canister filled with liquid oxygen, once again created by James Dewar. In order to stabilize the rocket, four fins were attached at the bottom, designed by Otto Lilienthal and co. Early tests were promising, and it is assumed that this prototype would be finished and used at the end of the 19th century.

On other scientific stuff, Otto Lilienthal was starting a project for the creation of a heavier than air machine capable of flight.

Politics n' Shit

In Eaka, the governmental reorganization and restructuring was a success, and so was the operations for the restoration of order, already the Eakan government was restored, and all of Gilda claimed for Eaka. After a bit of discussion, the Eakan government has agreed to turn Eaka into a protectorate, in return for protection, supplies, and support, Eaka must allow the stationing of NCSU troops in their lands, the construction of fortifications and the like on their Halium and Manticoran borders, as well as the ability to draw manpower from them.

On other things, the last of Roman resistance located on the archipelago north of Syday and south of White Harbor were to be overrun as NCSU troopers began landing on them and started the process of conquest. Rifles cracked as bullets were shot, feet thumped on the ground as soldiers ran about, ears rang as explosives detonated near them, and overall, it was total chaos, though the NCSU kind of succeed oftentimes when chaos was around.

A detachment of troops and ships that was sent to the remnants of Carriebean for peacekeeping purposes a few weeks ago had finally arrived, and the troops began setting up food distribution centers, and also began the reconstruction of many ruined buildings, other groups started to hunt down any criminals that ran amok due to the loss of police. This was but a part in the bigger picture, first was this phase, then diplomatics, then the creation of a protectorate, and afterwards was the consolidation of power..

OOC: Check the map, there are gray isles north of Syday and south of White Harbor, I overran those, also whatever remains of Carriebean is empty.

Verkozen Officiele Jethro Kendi quickly walked down the street, his hands in his coat. Winter had arrived, and the streets were abnormally colt. Kendi wore a large coat, a scarf and hat covering his head and face. 5 NAD-SOK Agents walked with him and a loose circle in a radius around him, and the group made their way through the extremely crowded street. They were making their way to the docks, to secretly board a steamer to Arengin.

Kendi looked back, and he swore he saw someone looking straight at him. He shook his head, nonsense, no one knew who he was currently, he was safe..

The Royal Harbor
February 4, 1898

Men in uniform were running up and down the roads to the harbor, getting things ready and meeting up with their superiors. The entire Aclusian Expeditionary force was mobilizing for the first time in 10 years. News of a massive offensive into the Arengin, Halium and Skarten territories were worrying, mostly because the NCSU had been idle and had jumped into gear out of nowhere, now Aclus has entered the war, another fire to consume the world has started. And Aclus will be the extinguisher.

125,000 men, 450 Heavy Grizzly tanks, and 200 Cruiser Medium tanks will enter the Warglorian territory of Sllew Erdgirburt to be on the defensive, The Grand Fleet would protect the main Aclusian Island while the Iron Fleet protects the waters of Nuwe Europeia.

Pretoria, Gauteng Province, Traansval
The Traansval was about to get a whole new lot of anarchy. As his former Gestapo colleagues have told him: "You cut off the head, the rest will wither and die." And this is almost always true......well.....except in the case for Hydra. They had one mission: Assassinate Jethro Kendi. Now there might be a chance that when they succeed, the Traansval might become either more peace or more war.....but they could always rely on nations such as the NCSU and Manticoran Empire for war.

The man leading this operation was a Hydra Operative, former Gestapo Agent, codenamed "Backsword", or what his real name was, "Lee Harvey 'Sharpe' Oswald." Now he wasn't that sure if "Lionheart" was his first name, but he just went along with it. "Better keep your children away from this scene." Sharpe whispered, looking towards the audience. "It might get messy....even though it's in a paragraph of words." Sharpe smiled, and slowly started walking towards Kendi, in a very stalker like manner, about 15 meters away.

He swore he saw Kendi stare straight at him, as if he saw him, but then again, people get paranoid when their about to die. Then, slowly was he kept walking, about 2 more agents joined him, slowly following Kendi in a very ominous style. All 3 of them were wearing Gestapo attire: black coat, with suit and tie under, with black shoes and a black fedora. All of their faces were ominously covered by shadows by the moonlight. There were 6 Super Elite Agents going for Kendi.

It consisted of 2 Gestapo agents (not including himself), 2 Okran Agents, 1 NAD Agent and one AFISE agent. Though at this moment there were only 2 Gestapo and himself visible, to say. All of them renounced their loyalties to their government, and have joined Hydra.

As the crowds thinned and the Verkozen Officiele kept moving, his guards soon noticed how three men made every turn they made, and it was decided to abort the secret transfer. The 6 NAD-SOK Agents quick drew their new Walter Compact Pistols and went to protect the Officiele.

He then proceeded to raise his own Luger pistol, as did the other 2 agents. Wall Front

All of a sudden, armored cars! These had machine guns on them, others had rockets! These rapidly crossed areas of the Volga River that had a hill on the NCSU side and a lower area on the Arenginian side, this would give them safe but bumpy landings. These had their front bumpers reinforced with spikes, and thus, the cars became armed transport battering rams. They would start dealing with the cavalry first, careening into their positions, honking wildly as to scare the horses, if not, the spikes would take care of the rest, as well as the machine guns.

Speaking of automobiles, heavy duty cars began transporting makeshift bridges made of iron. They were simply a few small iron pipes smacked together with heat, and the trucks dumped them to make a bridge wide enough to let two straight lines of men to pass. Some truck unfortunately, alongside their cargo, were blown up by the shells of Arenginian artillery. However, they provided a secure method of crossing the dangerous and frigid river rapids.

No soldier's body was to be purposeless, dead or alive. And they found the perfect use for their dead comrades and the occasional body of a dead enemy, meatshields! With their protection, they crossed the bridges with sniper cover fire. Some were killed by enemy snipers though, but a slight majority was able to cross. They went to the trees for cover, and occasionally shot at the enemy's direction without guidance. Others got more favorable conditions and were able to fire clearly at the enemy.

Image
Soldier in favorable conditions firing at Arenginians

Sibir Front

The Skartenian soldiers would now have to deal with another front being opened. While they pressed in the north at Coalsun, the east part was about to be invaded. A large force of soldiers, alongside some men from the tribals(such as slingers, archers, crossbowmen, spear throwers, and horse archers), has already been prepared, and so began the march to the border...

They eventually arrived there, and the order was given to charge. Casualties were to be expected though.

Chaaaaaarge!

Ecksal and Other Fronts

Since most beaches were downhill, everyone focused on the parts that went downhill further inland. They hid here, preparing to strike. Any grenades tossed into them was lobbed back, anyone deciding to come close was struck by a hailstorm of bullets.

In the Roman lands, some escaped the Manticoran onslaught.
