December 12, 1891 (1892? What is the year!)

The BAD-1 Falcon slowly descended onto the lawn of the Republican Palace, the Lug Aviateurs connecting the ship to the mooring tower on the lawn.

A plank was sent out from the Airship onto the small Airship Boarding Platform, and Directeur Henry stepped off, following by the Manticoran Delegation and the Guards.

Directeur Henry: Ladies and Gentlemen, i present, The Republican Palace

"It's about bloody time."

Directeur Henry: Yes well, if you'd follow me in please.

Henry lead the way for the Delegation, the Republikeinse Gardesmaans stood at attention at their positions around the Palace. A squad of them patrolled the front lawn, a German Shepard patrolling with them. The men all carried the new Ryder MK3 Rifles, and some also carried the Winchester M1890 Shotguns.

On the roof, Gardesmaan Snipers watched over the area. NAD Agents sat in cafe's and other non descript spots around the Palace.

Two Gardsmaans opened the front door for the Delegation, and Henry once more led them inside.

Directeur Henry: Here we are, if you could please ask your Guardsmen to stand outside, you are allowed 2 Guards to enter the Summit hall.

Meanwhile, in Halium, Cali Merui begins purges of the democratic factions in his country, and bans democratic elections.
Opinions on politics: In light of the failure of two parties, there either should be none, or multiple major ones

Opinion on Government: Should be run by Mirthocracy (ask me about it sometime)

At the same time, Cali boards the SS Rebellion, and travels to Arengin, to join in the summit in St. Osloverg and try to gain allies to support militarily, economically, help him modernize him army, and help him deal with internal rebellions. As much as he wished that he could make Halium completely isolationist, it simply wasn't possible.

A couple days later he arrived in St. Osloverg dressed in regular clothes, with a machete strapped onto his belt out of habit. He walked off the destroyer and towards the summit.

The Manticoran Empire wrote:General Sir Godfrey looked at the telegram and swore loudly. Admiral Hughes and Admiral Rhodes looked at him and Hughes immediately asked, "Milord? What happened?" Godfrey practically punched Hughes as he thrust the telegram at him. "The fucking ROMANS have attacked the Boer colony on Solitude Island. WHICH, coincidentally, is practically in the middle of the Tamir Continent."
Hughes and Rhodes gawked at him and Rhodes even blustered, "We'd have to practically invade half the Roman Empire to safely make it there."
Godfrey nodded and said, "I'm well aware of that and, to make matters worse, we don't have the same forces we used to. Most of our armor has been sent to Afrikaan for that war with Eodor and most of our Motor Rifle units went with them. We're stuck with infantry and militia."
Hughes and Rhodes sat down and Rhodes buried his head in his hands. Hughes looked at the map of the region that was on the coffee table and said, "This may seem cold but I think we have to abandon them to their fate. We simply CAN'T afford to go to their aid. We don't have the manpower or the ships. I'm sorry but we simply can't do it." Rhodes barked, "ARE YOU MAD? We should abandon our allies? We need to go to their aid as much as possible!"
The two argued back in forth while Godfrey looked through his records, trying to determine what he could do. Hammer of the Gods was still present and he had received several more in recent months. Perhaps they could be put to good use by providing overhead fire support and resupply. But then there was the problem of time. Rome could provide more troops than he could and they could do it faster. "Milords, quiet. Admiral Hughes is right. We simply can't do it. By the time we get there, they will have fallen. It is unfeasible."

To: Kolonel Gaadaai
From: General Sir Godfrey

I deeply apologize, sir, but we will be unable to provide aid. We are simply too far away to render aid in a timely fashion.

Kolonel Gaadaafi looked at the telegram and swore. He expected the reply, the colony was in the middle of Tamir, its only access was the River which was completely controlled by Rome. Going into this, everyone knew that if the Romans attacked there would be no support. Looks like they'd just have to give it their best, and make the Romans pay in blood for Solitude.

Kolonel Gaadaafi: I WANT MATCHSTICKS IN THOSE HOWITZERS, BURN THE FUCKERS!

The howitzers began loading Matchstick Shells into the guns, and fired on the Romans, hitting them with splotches of hot burning tar-like petrol.

The Legionnaires reacted quickly and without panic as their training demanded. The field guns tore the walls part while the howitzers ripped into the city behind. More soldiers had arrived during the night, swelling the force to nearer 70,000 with six full legions and an equal number of auxiliaries.

"Oh son good. Listen make sure Cali here is dressed properly. Give him one him one of your suits please. I need to head back." Oswyn left, Cali was observing the rooms gallantly designs and he was curious at a stuffed bird. He then hrabbed his machete and tried cutting it up.

Nikolai ran to him and stopped him. "Wouh wouh Cali. Come with me." He took the blade and set it aside. He began to look for a proper suit. He found it.

"This will sooth you nice." He handed ot to Cali. He helped him get dressed and even trimmed his facial hair to look more proper.

Cali was now in full attire typical of a true Arenginian gentlemen.

"There. You can keep it. First thing you shall learn about us Arenginian Cali is that we take care of our friends." Nikolai chuckled. Melissa then entered the room wearing a red dress.

"Nikolai the dance is about to star-" She then noticed the Halium leader. She bowed in accordance to etiquette. "Nice to meet you sir"

Cali simply stood silent without knowing what to do. Nikolai then made a motiom of bowing down as well. Cali followed.

"So Lord Merui. How are things in Halium?" Oswyn asked.

Kolonel Gaadaafi: Men! Form up!

The 20,000 Vloot-Voetvolk Soldiers formed up just outside the city walls, and moved forwards into the Trenches just outside the city.

Machine Guns were set up along the Trench Walls, ready for the in coming Roman Assault. Mortars inside the trenches began to fire shells at the enemy encampment. Field Guns were being wheeled into position, firing at their ranks.

Meanwhile, at sea, the BNS Seal, a Submersible, was making quick work of the Roman Fleets. The Romans, already in expeierenced when it came to naval power, were startled by the mysterious Torpedos that seemed to be fired from nowhere.

The Seal spotted the hull of one of the Roman Transports, which ferried troops back and forth across the water. The Seal took aim and fired, ripping a whole in the ships lower hull.

Above Water, 5 East Empire Company Gunboats (Commerical Steamers armed with naval cannons) were attacking the enemy navy with signature Boer Hit and Run tactics. While the Romans had better guns than the Gunboats, the Gunboats were more maneuverable and fast than the large battle cruisers of the Roman Fleet.

That didn't work for the EECS Artemis, as she was hit by a Roman Naval Cannon and immediately burst into flames. Those survivors of her crew swam to shore, and gathered up their rifles and joined the Vloot-Voetvolk troops.

Zee Prlmnt, Rannkradle
News had broke out that the traditionalists in Rannoria had revolted. They were around 70,000 strong, with an army mostly consisting of elite swordsmen and bowmen. Grand Tyron Gren had sent a small force relieved from the Eodorian border to swoop down, but as they did so, communists revolted as well. The communists had a force of 650,000 in total. Though not the best, they still had guns and numbers. The republican forces broke off into two armies. One that continued south, and another that fought on against the communists. Maestoso Mios Askwell issued under Supreme Rannoire Edict that the armies in Sylbania be recalled into home, and it would take them a while. The Great Trenches of God still held up, along with the Maxtopian border. But soon, another revolt started. Religious Batalurp monks had risen up around several provinces. Hordes of them. Well trained and in difficult terrain, it would be hard for the republic to attack them. No worry, though, the Rannorian army had more in numbers and was more modernized... but was that good? Finally, high ranking military officials had been found dead, picked off individually. Some tried to flee, but died on the way out. Others either made it out or continued their post.

IC:
The Northern Campaign
There were approximately 200,000 units in total fighting the communists. 20,000 had broken off. During the trip, they had met with some communist forces, but the opposition was quickly shot down. The forces that were from Sylbania had yet to arrive in a port in Eglise Sainte Eve, so the relief forces were still going to take a while to get to the north of Rannoria. Meanwhile in the north, the 180,000 men, though having higher quality soldiers, weapons, and others, were simply outnumbered. 650,000 men was an easy winner against 180,000, but the republicans stood strong. They had to fight for peace, and so they did. They held themselves up in a consecutive line of forts known as the Leoston Line. Used in the previous civil war, it had aided greatly and managed to secure supply lines between forts, though it was not maintained well. Artillery and CT-100Fs lined up and bombarded whatever oncoming communist force there was, and the communists thought it was hopeless. So their leader, Chekov, decided to assign a commander there who was Valisev Peter. 300,000 soldiers remained to take the forts, and the other 350,000 left to swoop in and take the rest of Maxtopia. Upon hearing this news, Tyron Gren started amassing troops loyal to the republic, and so a small army started growing.

The Monk Rebellion
The combined forces of the religious zealots and the traditionalists were rather strong, though their folly was that they lacked numbers and modern weapons. Several used guns, but the majority stuck with swords and whatever they used. The combined forces slowly pushed north and east, not exerting their forces too much. They took hold of forts they attacked, also gaining that delicious artillery to add to their army. No Lenines or CT-100s, but they'll get there.

December 12th, 1892 (1891? What is the bloody year)

Directeur Octavian sat at his desk within the walls of the Ministry of Research. In front of his desk was the Directeur of War, Directeur Liek.

Directeur Liek: Where are the files on the new Lug Ships, Octavian?

Octavian turned around to hide his frown. Liek was a stuck up and pretentious man. He was the former Kommandant of the Cavalry, but was given the role of Directeur of the Ministry of War and Defense after the Cavalry was disbanded by Kruger. Liek still kept his stuck up attitude, he even refused to address any of his equals by their titles.

Octavian retrieved the file he spoke of, and handed it to Liek.

Verkozen Officiele Jethro Kendi: Groeten Mijn Gelijke Leider (Greetings my fellow leader), we have been eagerly awaiting your arrival. Might i introduce, Lord Carth of Norcourt, and Generaal Younger of The Free Isles?

Kendi extended his hand towards the two leaders.

Adrian extended his hand to Kendi, Carth, and Younger in turn. "It's a pleasure to meet you all. Now, I am not a man for endless pleasantries and I have 300,000 men in North Transvaal waiting on the results of this meeting so shall we get down to business? The Traansval, Norcourtian, FIA, and Manticoran Delegations each took their designated seats.

Arengin-Al Morvern border. Around the Babalon Valley

It had been a long time of peace between Arengin and the Morvern kingdom. Trading routes had been establish, and bordering towns would trade important resources like salt or steel. However things began to get hectic when Morverian nomad tribes began to camp on the Babalon valley. The valley was quite an important site for fresh water as well as plenty of fresh fruits that grew in season.

The tribes were more than willing to share the valley with the Arenginians of the town of Cladis, a mining town that was not so far from the valley. However things began to fall apart when the tribes did not leave the valley and began to settle. This caused the Arenginians to begin confronting the tribesmen, the Arenginians aggressiveness and Morverians lack of understanding of the language was not a good mix and both sides brought guns to the table.

This made the Arenginians begin to settle tents of the other side of the river and both sides began to point rifles at each other.

The Roman artillery continued to shell the Boer forces as the six legions, some 32,502 men strong, took their positions in the trenches. They were joined by a roughly equal number of auxiliary troops. 500 yards behind their trenches were the field guns, about 720 of them (the auxiliaries had brought some, as well), dug into their own earthen redoubts, capable of delivering withering fire against the enemy. Nearly 10 miles further back were the Howitzers, dug into their own earthen redoubts and firing shrapnel and high explosive shells. And, hidden behind the guns, Rome's newest weapons: the Landships. They would break the Boer lines and the infantry would be right behind them.

The Boer submersible couldn't stay down forever and, eventually, her batteries were so depleted she was forced to surface and it was there that the Roman gun crews wreaked their hellish revenge upon her. They shelled the Seal even after she had gone under. And it was at that point that Classis Ravennas arrived, brining with it modern warships and experienced crews. The remaining four gunboats did not last very long and the reinforcements knew a thing or two about Naval warfare and they had lain mines in the channel behind them. The Boers were now trapped, with Roman territory all around them.

The naval guns joined the land batteries in shelling the colony and the Romans even sent Naval Infantry of their own towards the Boer trenches. As the Roman Naval Infantry neared the shore, the Roman Landships crossed the Roman trenches, all guns blazing. The Roman infantry surged from their trenches and followed behind the monsters. With howitzers and naval guns still firing at the Boers, they were helpless against the attack. If they dared to stick their head up to load, aim, and fire their field guns, they would be shot by a rifle, a machine gun, a cannon, or shredded by shrapnel. Indeed, they were liable to die the same way no matter what they did. The Romans outnumbered them now nearly 5 to 1 and had significantly more firepower and were attacking from all directions. The Vloot-Voetvolk would all perish. It was only a matter of how painful that death was going to be.

Adrian started to rise but was beaten to the punch by Catherine. Adrian covered it up as a coughing fit. "Apologies," he said, "I am not a young man anymore." Catherine spoke strongly, "Let it be made quite clear to all who are present today. This decision to render military aid to The Twelve Isles WILL set the precedent for how other nations deal with us. If they see us as a strong, united front, willing to go through Hell and back for an ally, they will be less inclined to choose violence over diplomacy when dealing with us. However, if they see us as a divided conglomeration that can't find its ass with both hands, then they will pick us off one by one until none of us remain. We MUST present a strong and united front, regardless of our internal differences. As far as the world is concerned, we are of one mind: the protection of each other at all costs. Kolonel Gaadaffi: MACHINE GUNS! OPEN FIRE

All along the Trench, Mauser-Ryder MG-90 Machine Guns opened fire, sending swarms of hot lead into the bodies of the Romans. The Romans at the head of the charge fell, their comrads quickly jumping their dead bodies and charging ahead. The Sailors from the sunken Gunboats quickly formed up into lines on the right flank, ready to fight the roman Naval Infantry and protect the flank of their fellow soldiers. Once in range, the Sailors opened up with Fire by Ranks continuous fire. One of the soldiers in the trench picked up their MG-90 and began to fire it from the hip at the Roman Naval Infantrymen.

In the sea, the commander of the Seal saw the mines being laid in the harbor and knew his tour was done. Their last torpedos were put in their pods, and the commander handed out small oxygen masks and tanks, enough to get them to shore. The commander put orders for the ship to head at full speed into the side of the nearest Roman Battleship, and opened the top hatch. His men quickly swam out, but the commander stayed. This was his ship, he would go down with her... He fired the last torpedo's into the ship, and then braced as he felt the Seal slam into the enemies hull.

Back on the ground, Kolonel Gaadaafi noticed the Roman Landships advancing.

Kolonel Gaadaafi: NOW BOYS! AT-1 RIFLES!

50 men dropped their Mauser Rifles, and picked up their AT-1 (Anti-Tank 1) Rifles. The Rifles fired the powerful 14.5mm APE (Armor Piercing Explosive) rounds. The Rounds were designed to pierce the armor of the tank, then explode like a incendiary round 1/2 a second after its tip hit the armor.

On the right, a lucky shot by a Privaat pierced the armor of a tank, then exploded within its engine. The entire metal behemoth went up in flames.

Kolonel Gaadaafi: I NEED GEPANTSERD KORP, NOW!

At his yelling voice, the Gepantserd Korp 25th Squadron came out from the walls.

5 BAC-7 Main Battlecars, 3 BAC-8 Infantry Support Cars, and 2 BAV-1 Light tanks. They rolled over the Trench (The Cars went around) and began to open fire on the enemy. The BAC-8's 20mm Gun shredded the enemy.

The Roar of Boer Field Guns and Howitzers could be heard, the Howitzers focused on the Enemy Infantry, while the Field Guns focused on the enemy armor.

Verkozen Officiele Jethro Kendi: Very well. The vote is unanimus, The Alliance of Republican Nations shall declare war upon the Bronze Isles, and assist The Free Isles Army either through sending troops to assist, or sending arms and ammunition.

Jethro pounded a small gavel on the table.

Verkozen Officiele Jethro Kendi: Now, onto the second item of business. The Eodorian Republican Movement has recently gathered favor in Eodor. They have sent a telegram to my government, asking for assistance. Now, while i understand we are at war with the Eodorians, this is a good opportunity. We could depose of the Communist Government currently in place, and bring about a Republican Government which would suit out needs and interests. Also, if we help the Republicans, i'm sure they will let go of their Colonial Claims on Goldrush in exchange for our help. So, i put it to vote, do we assist the Republican Rebels in Eodor?

"Well I can assure you after this you will have no more worries." Oswyn took a sip of wine.

"Life here in Arengin is quite pleasant. We have all kinds of landscapes and all resources. We out them all to good use. Our economy flourishes thanks to having economic deals and trading on almost all nations and our army is of the best. When the summit is over I personally will make sure your nation is up to speed and i solemnly swear that no nation shall touch you without consequences."

Cali took a sip of his drink. "Other than your nation and anyothers in our alliance, am I right?"

He appears deep in thought about the future of his country, and why the rebellion happened in the first place.
Opinions on politics: In light of the failure of two parties, there either should be none, or multiple major ones

Opinion on Government: Should be run by Mirthocracy (ask me about it sometime)

Why do I always play weak nations? I hate having every advantage, makes it boring to me
