Both men got into the carriage, the carriage began to cruise along the cliff side and still overlooking the sea. It also was enclosing towards the Summer Palace.
"I really hope we can establish healthy relations between our two nations. It is important that us Slavs help each other in times of adversity." Oswyn said to the Commodore. As Oswyn talked a journalist came with a camera, he was briefly stopped by the guardsmen but Oswyn allowed him to get close to the slow moving carriage.
"Your majesty, a photo please." The journalist said.
"Of course young man. Of course. Commodore let us share a picture." Oswyn raised his right hand in a military fashion as the Commodore simply looked over at the camera.
As the carriage moved along the cliff the Commodore stared off and took in the beauty of the sea, it reminding him of his naval days.
"I as well hope to establish more plump relations, we have already taken one step forward with you allowing me and my people to stay in your nation for the time being, quite a generous and respectable act. Hopefully once this situation is resolved we can become closer than before." replied the Commodore to Oswyn.
The Commodore watched as the young journalist was allowed through by the guards before speaking "Of course, my friend." The Commodore simply just gazed over at the camera.
Meanwhile back in the Eakan encampment, training was going well for the Eakan troops. 10 corps of troops had been rasied and were ready for combat just waiting for the go command from higher ups, the 11th and 12th were expected to be ready in a few days. The troops still drilled and practiced heavily spareing no details, the instructors were determined to make this all muscle memory for their troops.
Preperations at the port were being made for the retake of the Eakan homeland, or officialy the invasion of Asigerria. The ENS Kack Radjur was being uparmoured to better protect it against attack, The clinging and clashing of hammer and steel echoing through out the docks. Other ships were being converted in the same fashion. Some were given defensive small and medium caliber guns.[/quote]
"Yes indeed, I must say war is a bloody ordeal. I really had expected the Asigerrians to be a more civilized society and actually talk instead of invading. I can't really do much against them since my good friend Mark Kruger has good trading relations with them. You probably don't know him, he's a brilliant man I must say. A lion in a man's body, courageous and honorable, his daughter Melissa as well is a lovely young lady and hopefully the future mother of my grandson's. But anyway, I couldn't do much since it would have created conflict among the Entente. But I can assure you that you are safe here in Arengin. No one can dare to invade Arengin." Oswyn said quite prideful.
"I do hope my son can keep the legacy. My father was a man of vision, he wanted to expand the dominions of Arengin all the way from south Afrika to the Svavic provinces. What a man he was, of course he passed away before he could see his dream come true. He was a man of a short temper I must say, very strict with me and my sisters. I once had a brother but he died in the Araebhumian wars. A magnificent man he was, taken from us too soon. My mother is quite well though. As are my sister, one of them actually is duchess of this province. My she turned it into a true land of Europan status. She is obsessed with Aclusian infrastructure, one time she went to visit there and that's all she would talk about. What about you Commodore, have you any siblings or family?" Oswyn said as he took off his hat.
