Segartya-Agramer Border, Guttmancher Line, Exercise Tiger
A full scale wargames exercise was taking place to test the abilities of the Guttmancher Line and the soldiers defending it. It was also designed to test the new weaponry. Like the Lee-Metford and the Panzer-Angriff Auto. The Exercise began at the break of dawn, when all of the soldiers were still asleep.

A sentry called out from his vantage point, "They are here. The enemy is here!" Eodorian soldiers rushed to grab their equipment and helmets and left their Bunkers to assume positions in the trenches and pillboxes. The blank fire rounds creating a deafening shroud of noise.

After around 2 hours of 'fighting' the 'wargolian' force had been defeated. The troops congratulated their comrades and went about their normal daily duties. Above the trenches and forts of the line was a thick cloud of black smoke. And silence once again fell on the Border.

Warglorian Colonial Empire

Agent Carmichael, the same one that rescued the Immigrants from the NCSU several years ago, was now in the Hot Arid Desert of the Warglorian Colonies.

He was keeping a low profile, Boer Agents are not officially welcome in Warglorian territory.

Agent Carmichael walked up into the main Government building of the Colonies. He was wearing the Uniform of a Warglorian Colonial Officer.

He walked up to the Receptionist, and spoke to her/him

Agent Carmichael: I am Lieutenant Himnzer, ive been sent to deliver a message to Adler by (INSERT MAJOR WARGLORIAN COLONIAL COMMANDER NAME HERE), his eyes only.

Carmichael was Dutch, and as such had a good grasp on German and German Accents.

Admiral Stanley Forge
The First Fleet of the Twelve Isles Royal Navy slid gracefully through the Straights of Good Hope. Admiral Forge watched the ocean in front of him warily. He remembered the standoff, and eventual battle between the the Isles and Warglorians during the beginning of the Caribbean War. He hoped to avoid a situation like that. The conflict in the DMZ was growing, and many of the Isles Entente Allies had sent troops to try and calm the situation, but all it had seemed to do was ignite the fires in everyone's hearts. In front, he could see lights flashing back and forth between the RNS Belligerent and the RNS Cartwine, the two ships furthest in front of his, acting as scouts.

"Sailor," he said to an enlisted man as he walked by.

"Yes sir," said the younger man to his commander.

"Go to the telegraph officer, have him send a message to Belligerent and Cartwine. Ask them what they see."

"Aye aye sir," said he sailor, jogging off to send the word.

Captain Billy Younger, Armored Corps
Billy stood at attention in front of Fort Greensboro's main gate, a platoon of the Car Operators who had already been trained stood with him. It was raining slightly, and they all shone a bit in the dull grey sunlight. It was what they had become used to, but Billy couldn't help but smile some when he thought about how Sgt Adams might handle it. Transvaal and the Isles were very different environments, and he found the idea of the Boer veterans coming to help in training floundering about trying to handle the rain very funny.

In the distance he could see the carriages that would be carrying Adams coming closer, but it would still be a few minutes before they reached Greensboro. Billy looked over his shoulder at the men he had with him. They stood at ease along the wall, him a few feet in front. The man in the front row held rifles with them as well. There was little chance they would have to use them, but it made them look more professional. Billy looked at his hands, with their rune tattoos, and looked back up at the approaching carriages.
Proud member of the Federation Of Isles.

Eastern Sheerwind
Lion's Head Island, Sultanate of al-Morvern
Stone and Steel

The longboats had come ashore at dawn from the Wind of Effort, bearing skilled artisans and the designers of plans laid in the past month in Calmontum by better military architects. Along with them had come sailors and soldiers, guards for the construction, overseers for the laborers, and many other men besides. Now six ships bearing the scarlet field of the Sultanate of al-Morvern were anchored in Askar Bay, a larger assortment of military vessels than the small port had likely seen for generations. With the signing of the deal that leased the Lion's Head to the government of the Dowager-Sultana in perpetuity, plans laid could begin to bear fruit.

Already criers had gone through many of the nearby towns and little sleepy fishing villages along the Sheerwind coast, offering good wages and steady work for those with strong backs and steady hands. And thus, upon the rocky islet and the protected bay a naval complex of earthen ramparts and solid stone arose an outpost of Morvernian might; a bulwark against seaborn foes. Should any foe attempt to scale the Wysting River and approach the capital - this was it. The shield they must batter. The sword that would smite them.

Calmontum
The Royal Capital
Arrows on the ramparts

The clouds at last fled Calmontum, which northerners once called 'Clairmont', and left a rinsed blue sky. A pale spring sun glossed the copper dome of the Mosque of al Bajar and shimmered the curve of the Wysting river. It even left the tall sandstone pillars of the Lunja, the currency exchange where stiff-necked Plainsmen and fat Hetmundian moneylenders haggled for coin in half a dozen dialects, dark and shimmering.

Eastwards, on the river, squalls of barges and long, knife-prowed river-runners lay cheek by jowl, their decks stacked high with the wealth of the wide Abra valley. There were nets of oranges, barrels of pickled fish, casks of olives and mountains of coal. In this capital - at once so modern and ancient - the history of al-Morvern was laid bare for all to see. A spiderweb of telephone cables and telegraph wires wound their way across boulevards and battered alleys, market yards and garage stalls.

A flock of sheep bleated pitifully as they were herded down the narrow streets and off to the stink of the slaughter yards, and bespectacled old men lounged warily in Shaisha bars, sipped mint tea from aluminum cups and murmured politics with cakey students in machine-made clothes. And all for a country under siege. Because the Boers were coming. Papers and broadsheets up and down the capital were awash with news and speculations of nothing but. But the Lord Above was kind. Surely, surely, He would see cooler heads prevail.

Suvarim
Northern Hetmund, Western Provinces
Every why has its wherefore.

Yet in case Allah was deaf; there was the Yildrim Army. It's full and formal designation was the 'Yildrim Army Group' and a more storied military detachment, old in glory and glut of men - a thousand thousand, it was said - would be hard to find across all the realms of the Dowager-Sultana. Theirs was the standard which had once led the mythical charge whose momentum swept the Bütrafals to power; a service for which they had been duly named the 'Sultan's Own'. Could it surprise any man they had the equipment and training to guard that honor? No; no man at all. And it was just that honor, that luster and heritage, which al-Morvern's architects sought to guard. For with a vast naval fortress rising on the doorstep of the eastern coast; a twin of concrete and iron grew also in the west.

There, in a snarl of hills, lay Suvarim - a modest railhead which had once served as entrepot for trade with al-Morvern's Boer neighbors. In those days, Suvarim's tallest building had been the tower of its dust-colored mosque, where generations of Imams had shouted the
muezzin - the sing-song call to prayer. La illaha, ill Allah. Yet now, this humble railhead's modest tracks and railyards lay silent with disuse - for it had pleased the pinstriped gentlemen in Pretoria to rattle their sabers and still the hand of commerce. Very well. On the hills around Suvarim, therefore, rose a fortress - a nest of trenches, artillery dugouts, minefields, breastworks, observation posts cast in steel-girded concrete and even an aerodrome raked from the brown, flinty soil; that zeppelins from the capital might find service and succor there as they watched the land.

To His Excellency Mark Kreuger, President of The Traansval and all Her Domains and Territories,

Be wary. We speak not as men do when they cannot find a dirk in their belt, but a lioness whose claws are not yet drawn, but ready. In amassing your forces at our border, the ire of our people is aroused. It sits ill with our throne, to sit by as men stand ready to sacrifice women and children to the thirst of shot and shell, to allow brutal war to consume victims for naught more than vain ambition. Our nations once knew commerce and mutual respect; so council yourself - what profit can the Boer Republic hope to earn in war upon the people of Morvern, save the profit of a people who would live in peace otherwise? Is your spat with distant Wargloria so vast that its shadow must also cover us? In our heart we think not, and so we warn you again; be wary, for our arm has grown long indeed, and we stand not alone against your might.

Hamina Bütrafal, Shahansha of the Dominion of the Sheer Wind, Sultana-Dowager of the Lands of al-Morvern, Sovereign of the Tassled Throne, Emira of Brightlow and Flaunthill, Pasha of the Magadaskar Coast, Shield of The Faithful.

To His Excellentcy Grand Kurozov Jean-Bievs,

The Morvernian Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents its compliments to the Honorable President of Rannoria, as the Embassy handling the affairs of the noble Arisluian Entente, and wishes to inform it that for the last few weeks, developments on our borders with the Traansval Republic has caused our Grand Conclave some concern. All reports indicate that an order of general mobilization has been called among the Boers; a prelude, we suspect, to the abuse of al-Morvern's territorial inviolability. This constitutes a flagrant violation of the most elementary rules of international law and, moreover, demonstrates the aggressive attitude of the Traansval Government in provoking our peaceful nation so insolently. We fear this unwarranted aggression stems from a misguided desire for war with Wargloria; an international spat with which the Sultanate of al-Morvern has no discernable part.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs requests the Honorable Embassy of Rannoria to convey to the Government of the Traansval Republic the most energetic protest of the Government of Morvern against this act. Please arrange for this communication to be circulated as a document amongst the heads of state concerned with your glorious Entente, with reference to al-Morvern’s request drawing their attention to the dispute with the Traansval Republic.

With sincerity,
Honoriam Crovernid de Sulazzo,
First Speaker of al-Morvern.

The Twelve Isles

Sergeant Adams was apart of a group of 4 Sergeants being sent to The Twelve Isles to train the Islanders to use the Armored Cars.

They were riding in a Firefly Class Scout Airship, The Airship was to be presented as a Gift to the Twelve Islanders to commemorate the Anniversary of The Battle of The Farmhouse.

Adams was hoping that in his off time he could find Billy. Billy and him had not exchanged letters or any correspondence after the war, but Adams remembered that Billy grew up on Bowler Street, so he would try and find him there.

The Airship touched down on the Twelve Isles Docks, where a team of handlers hoisted it down and parked it. Adams watched as a group dressed in Twelve Isles Officer Uniforms watched and appraised the flying machine.

As Adams and the other 3 Sergeants got off, they were greeted by a Twelve Isles Armored Corp Private, who packed them into a Ford Model T Civilian Car.

The Private drove them to the Fort where the Armored Corp was being trained

The men got out of the car, and were greeted by none other than Billy Younger.

Sergeant Adams: Billy!?! Is that you?

Sergeant Adams: Billy!?! Is that you?

Billy eyed his landlord, and the fat drunk who owned Billys house looked back. Billy was an officer, but he wasn't a royal, and so despite his higher social standing he didn't make enough money to move away from Bowler Street. The Watch Post had been taken away he year before after it had no effect on Bowler Street Gang, and the people of the neighborhood had gone right back to scamming and fighting one another as soon as they could. Billys landlord, Mr Becket, was one of the people who liked to scam, and Billy was not one to be on the losing end of that proposition.

"You think you can just throw me out of my house Becket?" said Billy, looking the fat man up and down. In Billys hand was a cricket bat, and he clutched it tightly in his hand.

"Yes, you slimy little shit," said Becket with a snaggle toothed grin, "I can Billy. Just because your some hot stuff in the Army dont mean I dont own your house."

Billy stepped up into the shorter mans face, looming over him. "You will let me into my house, you understand me? Ive payed my bills, and you cant toss me on the street. Ive killed people before Becket, and you wouldn't be any different."

"You wouldn't dare kill me Billy," said Becket, pushing the younger man back a step, and pulling a straight razor from his pocket. "Your ranks dont mean shit to the City Watch, and you'll go to jail just like anyone else."

Billy bristled, and stood taller, puffing his chest out. "Becket, Ive seen and done things you couldn't comprehend. I know how to bury a body, and though your fat would add an extra challenge, Im certain I could do it with you to."

Before Billy had a chance to make good on his promise however, he heard a familiar voice come from the stairs below him. He stopped, and both him and Becket looked down the steps to 5 men in Boer uniforms. And standing in the middle of them was none other than Billys old commander, Sgt Adams.

"Adams!" shouted Billy. He went to walk down the steps, throwing one last look at the crook who he called his landlord, before stepping up and moving his bat from his right hand to left, and extending his palm for his old friend to shake. "What are you doing here? I didnt expect to see you till I phased back into Fort Greensboro tomorrow."

To The Office of Chancellor Henry, Head of International Diplomacy,

The treaty signed at al-Morvern's capital in 1874 stipulates, to the best of our knowledge, no point which dictates that the Sultanate of al-Morvern is forbidden from acknowledging the presence of other nations on the stage of international diplomacy. The Morvernian nation reserves, as a free and sovereign nation state, the right to form and maintain diplomatic relations with whatever power, nation or international entity it so desires; irrespective of the Traansval Government's view on the subject. We reiterate, therefore, the following statement: the nation of Traansval's political differences with the nations of Wargloria and the NCSU has nothing to do with us. Lower your shoulders, sheathe your sword and stand your forces down. The Sultanate of al-Morvern is not your enemy.

With sincerity,
Honoriam Crovernid de Sulazzo,
First Speaker of al-Morvern.

Sergeant Adams: Someone said you were having troubles with a FAT, greedy landlord!

Adams pulled out his Model 1877 Thunderer Colt Revolver, and aimed it at the man

Sergeant Adams: Now you see here Mister what ever ya name is, Not only am i a Foreign National on assignment to Train Twelve Isles Troops, which gives me Diplomatic immunity, but ive also got 4 men here who will testify that you tried to come at me with that there Straight Razor and that i done killed you in self defense, aint that right boys?

The 4 other men, who were Boer Aerial Marines sent on board the Airship that was given to The Twelve Isles, gave their agreement to Adams words

Sergeant Adams: Well then, now i suggest you let this find War Hero into his own damn home!

Adams fired a shot at the Ceiling to hammer in his point

The Morvern Actions in aligning themselves with Warglorian and the NCSU have sparked outrage among Boers who see this as breaking the Treaty we signed.

As Thus, the Treaty is now Null and Void, we have Embargo'd your nation and many of our allies follow in our Example.

The Forces on your Border are there for Protection, a Warglorian Ally right on the Traansval's Borders is cause for Alarm

The Forces there will not be moved away, and will not attack unless attacked.

To Honoriam Crovernid de Sulazzo

Military presence on your border will be lowered, but Embargo's will be maintained by The Traansval. Other Entente members are free to lift theirs if they wish

Port of Alevi

Oswyn awaited the new battleship where Kruger would be coming in from. The day was cold and grey yet a sense of happiness and excitement was apparent in Oswyn. With his son at his side and his advisers as well, he was convinced that the new technological wonders would not only impress Kruger, or himself, but the world.

At last, the ship was on the horizon.

Kruger walked up and embraced Oswyn

Mark Kruger: OSWYN! It has been many a moon since we have met!

Oswyn began to laugh as he saw Kruger down the planks from the ships accompanied by his wife, daughter and his bodyguards. He also chuckled at the expression made by Kruger when he finally saw him face to face. Both men embraced in a friendly hug. They both had aged quite a lot since they're last meeting back in 78 but still had the spirits of young men.

Oswyn the said, "Ah yes indeed it's been so long. Well Miss Kruger it is such a pleasure to see you again. And who is this lovely young women." Oswyn got on his knees to take hold of the daughter's hand.

"I welcome you to Arengin young lady. This is my son Nikolai." Nikolai then stepped in and presented himself in almost military fashion. "It is a pleasure to meet you again Mister Kruger, same for you Miss Kruger." He said while bowing down and taking off his cap.

"Nikolai, will you greet young Melissa..." Oswyn said raising his eyebrow to Nikolai.

Nikolai approached the girl, both were about the same age, Nikolai was 15, Melissa seemed to be about 13. He bowed down nervously and took hold of her hand. "Nice to meet you my lady."

Mark Kruger: It is so great to see you all once more! And i do not come bearing no gifts, i present to you, The Oswyn!

Kruger pointed up into the Sky at the large Bombardier Class Airship

"N-nikolai... Nikolai Oswyn..." Nikolai quickly moved back to his father's side, seemed as if he was sweating.

Oswyn heard attentive to what Kruger said and turned to the direction he pointed. His eyes opened wide at the sight of such a marvelous machine.

"Oh my friend. I feel like I could kiss you. This will be a fine addition to our forces. Anyway, I have brought you a gift as well, Nikolai if you may." Nikolai opened a small wooden case Oswyn took what was inside and handed it to Kruger.

"A diamond egg, from the best gems of Araebhum. You wont find a more beautiful than this one." He said with a big smile, Kruger rather amazed by such a gift.

"Anyway... our ride awaits." Oswyn led the family to where their vehicle awaited.

Kruger was struck with amazement, a car. Not an armored car but an actual car, it was white with the metal painted gold and the Oswyn crest on the sides and the front. It had seats that could hold more than 8 people.

"Well I must say it is the first of its class, but that I have to thank you Kruger. Without the armored vehicles and scientifical aid you provided my nation this couldn't have been made. Shall we enter."

Mark Kruger: Well than! I have a Ford Model T civilian car back in Pretoria, but I must say it is not as Lavish as this! Yes, let us depart!

The Oswyn Family and Kruger Family boarded the Car.

Mark Kruger: I must thank you for the Diamond, biggest stone I had seen before today was on the crown of a Ivorum Prince! Now Ivorum is apart of the Empire, but the Prince still sits atop his palace, living the life of Luxury...

Krugers Daughter Melissa began to giggle like a school girl, hiding behind a paper fan while looking at Prince Nikolai.

"Well my friend monarchies tend to be like that, although believe me here in Arengin everyone has the best standard of living. Although obviously me being the King I get a bit of more luxuries." Oswyn and Kruger laughed.

Nikolai kept his sight on the window, however he would noticed young Melissa looking at him. He would look back but only for a moment or two.

Finally the car arrived at the palace where the rest of the Advisers and other generals awaited. Oswyn was the first to get off. "Ah, here we go Kruger. I think your wife and your daughter would prefer to go to the garden, my wife is there. Nikolai shall take them right Niko?" Oswyn looked at Nikolai who seemed to be hypnotized by something, or more like someone.

"Nikolai!" Oswyn said in a calm but firm voice. Nikolai was shocked from his trance.

"Y-yes sir... I mean sire... I mean majesty... I mean-" Nikolai was interrupted again. "Son... just call me father. Now run along and take the ladies to the courtyard." Oswyn said with a smile.

Quickly Nikolai led the two ladies to one side of the palace while Oswyn and Kruger went the opposite.

"Ah, I must say Mark... that kid worries me at times."

(OOC: It's Krnka, pronounced Kerin-ka)

Mark Kruger: Mister Ryder! You rifles have been issued to my Air Corp and Aerial Marines!
And this must be the fellow you worked with, Krnka!
