The first wave had charged! 400 men, sent over the top to gain a foothold in the outskirts, rushed the positions of the Covenant, grenades were being tossed continuously, since new tactics had been adopted that proved useful. Using objects for cover, and using prone and crouching positions, proved much useful when combined with Light Machine Guns. The unexpecting Covenant forces, took to their rifles, and began firing- but it was too late, and the Norcourtians had captured the trench. The rebels were captured, and were sent to prisons, where they would seen be executed. The Norcourtians now had a great vantage point, a hill upon which the entire west of the town was visible, and Covenant positions exposed. Shortly, this rebellion would be destroyed.
