So I have been watching the YouTube series The Great War for the last several days (binged 190+ episodes in perhaps in about a week) and it got me thinking. Perhaps, when we get around to it in about 1913-1915ish timeframe, we start our own World War One of sorts and each day can equate to about a week of total fighting. Since we have been fighting wars with tanks and airships and everything, the war of maneuver may or may not last longer than it did in Real Life or we may see the Anti-Tank gun take on a similar role to the machine gun, making it suicide to attack defensive positions head-on, requiring ever greater research and development.

Or maybe we just do a separate RP thread NOW using the same map as the one we have here but less divergence from real life. I dunno. It just started rattling around in my brain and I wanted to commit it to writing.

I'd go to year 1895, and then make a new RP, as in real life, nothing major really happened then, besides the breakup of the Spanish Empire, and the Boxer Rebellion...just a thought
