Liquid is one thing. Solid is another. And gunpowder cannot propel a craft high enough. Solid fuel was not used for rocketry until after World War II.

You blood bubbles, and your bodily fluids boil and evaporate inside you.Modern Astronauts wear special suits to combat this. Also, there are so, so, SO many things that would stop you from being able to do this.
