First of all I'd like to candidate for New Op.
Second Im done with Manticore thinking he can take the world on. Skarten is under MY protection and anyone who kills his troops without provocation is virtually attacking him and me. So Manticore you better stop being so belligerent and accept the claims that Skarten did. You have plenty of land already.

I'm not killing Skarten's guys.
At the same time, when has any empire EVER had enough land?

What is it with.....never mind.
No. The Roman Empire was A. Not the largest empire in History and B. didn't fall because of land. The Roman Empire collapsed for several reasons.
1. The last major Roman expansion in 117. For the rest of the 2nd Century, Rome only fought minor border clashes, leading to complacency. Then you had MASSIVE welfare spending, paying for food for the poor, almost daily gladiator spectacles, etc. 3rd Century rolls around and Rome's extravagant spending and lack of military experience catches up with them. Massive economic collapse combined with political upheaval and attacks from foreign nations and barbarians caused Rome's borders to shrink. Then it was divided into four governates, all of whom vied for political supremacy before being reunited. Then in roughly 286, Rome split in two and collapsed for the final time in 418, when Rome was sacked.

Technichally it did not fall until the Byzantine Empire fell in 1453, because it was the Eastern Half of the Roman Empire and they actually thought of themselves as Romans

The Eastern Roman Empire ceased to be known as the Roman Empire in 418. Since Rome fell in 418, the Roman Empire fell in 418.
