Shoot. I was really hoping that we could have a large-scale story using our NS nations in the Victorian Era instead of yet another PMV thread.
Why is this in the II Thread, then? Closed-universe stories not pertaining to NationStates go in "Portal to the Multi-verse". This Thread needs to be moved to its proper home.

Political issues: In this time period, TS' Russian ties and culture are starting to sunset. TS began receiving its first Confederate asylum seekers. Beginning shortly after 1900 AD, this trickle would become a storm, as rich CSA investors set up schools in every corner of the state, both ending TS' illiteracy and Russia-oriented culture (outside of politics), and imparting their values and dialect on TS. This fundamental shift would completely drive both Russian accents and Russian culture out of the country by 1920 AD. Control the children, control the culture. In addition, the first pangs of the Industrial Revolution would finally reach the country, with the large-scale advent of the railroad and factories by 1895 AD. TS would enter its own version of the Gilded Age in the 1920s AD, but it would never leave. The Industrial Revolution would totally be cemented by 1920 AD, but it was not until 1933 AD, under the extensive reforms of the Fascist Servant Party, that TS was finally brought out of the nineteenth century (and earlier) and incorporated into a modern state. The TS military would use medieval Russian and Mongolian tactics until TS' participation in the Russian Civil War. After that, the miltiary would be reorganized entirely

Military strength: Five hundred thousand levies (mostly infantry of all three species), twenty five thousand active human calvarymen, ten thousand non-human infantrymen. TurtleShroom would only mobilize its full strength in the event of an invasion. Most of the thirty five thousand active soldiers in this time period were actually used for engineering and construction at home. Aside from beating back raiders, bandits, gang posses, train robbers, and general rebel troublemakers, TS would not see actual combat until the Russian Civil War.

2. This is more of a Recommendation, the current year is 1896. We have Tanks, Armored Cars, Bolt Action Rifle, Small amounts of early Semi-Automatics used by Elite Troops, and smokeless powder. Its not recommended using a 1860 Musket.
3. No non-human species, you can keep the whole Mushroom and Turtle thing, but turn it into a thing with Tribals rather than Humanoid-Mushroom things.
4. This is completely different from the real world. There is no United States or Russia. There is Arengin, who is pretty much Tsarist Russia, and me(I'm pretty much the United States)
Also, sorry if the way i wrote this sounded demanding, I'm just laying down the terms for me to be able to accept this.
