So. The original 1870-1900 RP was dead, because Sceoji (the maker) became extinct.
So I decided to revive one of my favorite RPs.
Note, Sceoji made all I'm about to post.

This RP includes, but is far from limited to:

- Colonial uprisings as people began to grow frustrated with their overlords.

- Further colonization, and all out trade war

- A wide variety of interweaving alliances and things of such a nature

- late century politics, such as the belief your people's may be more civilized than another

- international incidents that explode over-night from something as small as a border skirmish over a heard of sheep

- pitched and unpitched battles ranging on the scales from a few hundred men to over a hundred thousand (no army will EVER be allowed to break 1 million.)

If anyone finds themselves interested, and actually replies to this, I'll have the application up first thing tomorrow; certainly hoping someone will as it's quite the interesting era.

RULES FOR RUNNING FOR OP!
The rules to run would be that if you have impacted the world, be active (rather consistently), and have to had signed up at the first OOC thread.

So right now, that's everyone.

People who do want to run have to choose a start date, and then an end date for the continuation.

If they get elected, they make the next thread, but they have to roll with the original idea of this being a sandbox.

The rules are:

A. You must link all the previous threads before yours.

B. It must be in the same universe.

C. No-one can do the same era, unless the RP died and someone reboots it.

D. You MUST make the previous OP a co-op. And, no, I am not doing this because I'm power-hungry. I'm doing it so it doesn't get off track. Other than that I won't meddle with much.

E. You must copy-paste the very important things. Things such as this, and other more "global" rules that don't apply to the specific era.

That's about it, but another thing is that you may make "coalitions."

In the elections, you can make coalitions. Confused? Thought so. Let's say, for example, Olthenia and the Manticorian Empire both want to do a space-era RP.

They can, but they realize that they'll just end up battling each other and losing out or whatever. Anyway, so, they realize that if they were apart, they wouldn't have as much chance in winning, maybe because one lacks talents that the other person has. Anyhow, they compromise, and they form a coalition.

The coalition's idea is that two or three nations (AND ONLY TWO OR THREE NATIONS) come together and compromise. They all agree on date "x", and end on date "y". They'll get their own entries, but if one of them wins, they have to promote their coalition members to OP as well. So there will be two-three OPs. If you want absolute dominance and moderation, do not choose a coalition. Having more OPs has their pros and cons, but it's up to you.

To lay down some guidelines and rules of what will be expected in this forum:

1. No million man armies; the year has not been set, but it will be well before the time when any kind of army could hope to supply a million men on the same battlefield. Besides, dysentery is a nasty creature, and overpopulation tends to give it a boon.

2. No controlling other people's attacks, unit reactions, or anything of the like. This is a particular pet peeve of mine and it can ruin a good thread.

3. No shrugging off enemy actions like they don't affect you; it is okay on occasion to have a counter, or to.intercept the enemy's master-stroke; but you are not meta, and you will be unable to defend against all their blows.

4. No name-calling (unless it's IC and pertains to the roleplay, foul language directed at other role-played, or anything otherwise unnecessarily hurtful. Constructive criticism is appreciated; bullying is not tolerated.

5. No spamming or posting out-of character in the IC thread; we'll either keep this open for out of game chatter, or start a new thread for it later on.

6. Non-human species will be allowed if this goes forward, so long as they have no INCREDIBLY overpowered aspects, or if it is a powerful aspect, it has drawbacks.

7. There will be drawbacks to whatever gear you choose for your men; it's just a fact. You want bullet-proof steel armor? Okay. But your men wearing this must be ENTIRELY immobile, as the weapons of the time were far better at penetration than muskets.

8. Realistic accuracy and things of that nature; your scouts won't be able to open fire at other troops at 2 miles range, no matter how good they are with their rifles.

9. Berserkers are a no-go; you may have similar, or troops of imposing stamina, size, or ferocity but they won't be able to take ten shots from a high-powered rifle and keep on trucking.

10. Last but not least, no superweapons. You may design your own weapons if you so feel the need, but I'd prefer images be provided for realism, and you CANNOT have a weapon that can kill an entire army.

Peacetime = No more than 1 mil.

Wartime = No more than 3 mil.

When ur getting screwed over real bad = No limit.

NATION INFORMATION

Nation name: The Federal Union of Rannoria

National goals: To thrive. That's, uh, really it.

Nation's Leader: Grand Odjen Kar

National Government: Governers in each province are elected from the ones in each province every 5 years and a council is formed. The Grand is voted also by the people, and the Grand voting is national, meaning that anyone in Rannoria can vote. Provincial governors manage their province, and any passing of law must be dealt with the Grand. The Grand is the highest rank in the government.

National history: Rannoria was a land that was originally from Lubezyk. The peoples of there were originally divided into two groups. The Banjoists, which were people who were intent on tradition and worshiping the gods, and the Sitarists, who put science before everything. This conflict lead to the War of the Twin Peninsula, which took place in Lubezyk, which was dominantly Banjoist, and Fengate, which was dominantly Sitarist. Eventually the Banjoists won, due to better morale, better location, and numbers, despite the Sitarists being more advanced. This would become a problem later for Rannoria, but nowhere near the 19th or 20th century. The Banjoists needed a name, and they named the nation after the great leader, Rannos Vararria. Thus, Rannoria was formed.

They soon also accepted the SItarist way of modernization, and caught up quick. They won over Eglise Saint Eve in the Campaign of Verxxonzi, driving out the natives, and soon decided upon the Maxtopian land, ruled by King Balazer VI of House Crenvill. Despite being Maxtopian lands, the Alvaksers drove them out into different territories, and settled. They were almost as technologically advanced as the Rannoire, had bigger lands, more food, and more soldiers. The battles raged on, with the final Rannoire victory in the Battle for Yaell. The lands were split up into Maxtopia, which Rannoria owned, Sterkspruit, and Agramer, which would go on to rule under different nations.

Now a new age has started.

Uniform: Cotton clothes reinforced with leather, is stronger and more durable. Can last more fights and can protect better, but it does make you slower and it's harder to create, so in desperate times, we just use regular cotton only. Colors are navy blue and gray.

Pack gear: 4 packets of salted, smoked herring, 5 herring in each packet. Extra ammunition, cooking equipment, bedroll, shovel, winter gear, 330ml of Vodka (absolut)

Greatest Strengths: Intimidation, morale, and good survival skills

Greatest Weaknesses: Bad at desert or mountain fighting.

Tactics: Divide an army into three, then send them wave after wave, causing enemy troops to falter. If enemy has more troops, we send our horses first.

Specialty: Has undying morale and honor for the land

Cavalry

Tactics: If the infantry tactic doesn't work, cavalrymen go up. They just trample everything, and they move around a lot. More chaotic than intimidating, and infantry follow behind.

Nation's Leader: Dowager-Queen Aristida Batiffol; Duchess of Brightlow, Lady of Flaunthill.
National Government: Constitutional Monarchy.
National history: Morvern is ancient; if not in history then at least in spirit. The latest political entity to dominate the Agramerian plateau; this ancestral homeland of the cat clans has only been united for half a century. Before that time, Morvern could best be described as a medieval cocktail of marriage, murder and mayhem as competing cat clans rose and fell from power. Whether or not the Batiffol dynasty will truly manage provide the watershed of peace and stability the cats of Morvern so sorely need remains to be seen. Threats, both within and without, conspire against it.

Political issues: In this day and age, the greatest issue facing the Conclave of All Cats is simple: political enfranchisement. The fickle feline public, for decades content to arrange their societies along lines of feudal hierarchies and clan loyalties, have perked their ears to the idea of a greater say in how the nation is run. The common cat wants democracy. The common cat wants it now. Their voice on this subject; a voice rapidly gathering momentum in factory yards and fruit orchards across the nation, is the Industrial Radical Party; whose enemies disdainfully dub them “the Rads”. Facing their representatives across the isle in the Conclave of All Cats; the conservative “Toptails” – whose members are primarily chosen from amongst the Morvernian nobility – hiss with disdain and mutter insults. How long will the Rads stand for this? And how far will the royal government go to protect itself from the ghost of populism and anarchy? Time will tell.

Greatest Victory: The victory that secured the Batiffol dynasty’s hold on the crown of Morvern is also counted amongst its greatest. Under cover of a dreadful thunderstorm, Morvernian forces encircled the army of Lorrimer “Lacklegs” Lamartin and, after three days of vicious fighting culminating in a thousand-cat strong bayonet charge, forced their surrender.

Most Embarrassing Defeat: The Kingdom of Morvern’s greatest military failure in modern history is, without a shadow of doubt, the Battle of the Wysting River. Delivered at the hands of Kennair Crovern, the notorious Black Prince, a naval brigade of heavily armed privateers loyal to the so-called “Cobblecats”, a faction of rebellious feline peers, sailed up the estuary of the Wysting River and utterly surprised the Royalist navy lying at anchor at Slipway Sound. A furious firefight saw two capital ships burnt to the waterline, almost a dozen lesser vessels sunk or scuttled on the Wysting’s treacherous shoals, and the pride of the Royal Navy itself, the Royal Aslan, towed away like a kit on a leash.

Greatest Weaknesses: This professionalism does not, unfortunately, include a very great regard for discipline in the ranks. Alcoholism is, perhaps as a result, known as the “soldier’s sickness” is Morvernian medical jargon.
Tactics: The practical use of trained scouts to ascertain the location and movement of enemy units, formations useful for night attacks and swift redeployment at the double are all tactics which make Morvernian armed forces damn unpredictable.
Specialty: As a novel development, the Morvernian army excel in encirclement battles and the use of mobile, offensive artillery whenever possible.

Cavalry
Primary Weapon: Cutts-Maudsley Clockwork Carbine. Exactly as deadly as it sounds.
Secondary Weapon: The Gorgon-pattern Model H Lefton revolver.
Melee Weapon: The Backsword, otherwise known as the “long claw”.
Uniform: Like their counterparts in the infantry, Morvernian cavalrycats are also easily identifiable by their mustard-yellow trousers, white paw-cleats and green, double-breasted tunics. In addition to this, a cavalrycat’s headgear includes a black leather “turban” with a silver-edged peak. The silvered lion headplates on the sides are entirely optional, but none the less quite popular.
Greatest Strengths: Mobility. Morvernian cavalrycats excels in the pursuit of a retreating enemy.
Greatest Weaknesses: In a stand-up brawl, Morvernian cavalry is rather lacking – preferring to shoot and retreat as opposed to drawing cold steel.
Tactics: As expected.
Specialty: They’re everywhere, they’re nowhere, they’re there and gone again.

Artillery
Cannon Types: The most common siege gun of the Morvernian Army is the highly mobile 12-pounder, transported by mule-drawn carriage and operated by a team of six partially deaf artillery-cats.
Mortar Types: Employed at both land and sea, the Morvernian 12-inch mortar is affectionately known as the “Tabby” by its handlers.

National goals: to distract the unrest in the nation with feats of glory and happiness.

Nation's Leader: in 1870, the King was King Alex V, in 1880, Alex V died and was replaced with his son, Alex VI, who also died in 1897, leaving the throne to a really old Zhackary IV, who only ruled until the turn of the century.

National Government: the National Government of Carriebean in the 1870's had a 365 member congress, a King, and a 6,000 member Parliament.

National history:
1000 AD Lexonians take over several tribes that are carib in ethnicity.
1350 AD Carriebeanians lead a revolution against Lexonia, and after a bloody revolution win their Independence
in 1620, King Zhackary sends out expeditions to far and alien lands, they return with lots of cool stuff.
from 1637-1645, there is a civil war between royalists and parliamentarians, which leads to the establishment of a parliament and the lessening of the king's load and say in running the nation.
In 1683, a crusade is called, and it fails, a further 12 more are launched, spreading the teachings of Jesus around the world at the point of a sword.
in 1787, the carriebeanian empire is formed after a disastrous war with European powers for seven years.
in 1855, after the failed religious awakening of the Talos Insurrection, a revolution happens that forces, among other things, the emperor sharing power with not only parliament, but a congress now, and he has to ask them for a declaration of war, instead of just fighting willy nilly.
1861, the nation has a civil war against several secessionist states wanting greater autonomy in dealing with other nations, they are defeated and the republican monarchy is still allowed to flourish after nine years of fighting in 1870.
1874, several Nobles get pissed off at the results of the civil war end treaty four years later, and succeed their states to create the republic of southern carriebean, which lasts for only three years, and is defeated in another civil war in 1877.
1880-1895 the carriebeanian forces begin colonizing several parts of Africa and help Norway grab a few pieces as well. the carriebeanian leaders are ill coordinated in their efforts and are using outdated technology in a war against technologically advanced and superior tactical thinking of the Serdian empire.

Political issues: during the begining of the time period of 1870, many angry nobility sought to establish their own nation, and so there are high risks of revolt. there is also a mindset in this nation that the Constitution may or may not be amended, with several perfectionists, (later the Anti Amenders) and several people pointing out several flaws ( Pro Amenders). these two groups combined in both houses lead to fun games of shoot the congressman or parliamentarian representative.

Greatest Victory: 1st Civil war, 1640 Battle of Plainsveiw, over 15,000 royalist forces were camped on a hill overlooking a major grainery town for the night. General Nairestun, did not think an attack would happen, and so spread out his forces in three groups of 5,000 men each, one along a row of trees that held a bridge that led into the city, another near a lookout position that might alert the other two groups, and a third with himself asleep in the town center. during a rainy and stormy night, over 6,700 parliamentarian forces arrived under the command of the best general of the war, Thomas Hampton sr. ( 1596-1651) seeing his force at an advantage, defeated each army with superior numbers.

Most Embarrassing Defeat: Siege of Tortuga ( 1779)- over 23,000 carriebeanian pirate soldiers were hold up in the city, and through ingenuous methods such as sinking ships to form a blockade, salvaging the guns and throwing lit cannonballs down steep slopes at the enemy, they were able to hold them off for 39 days, though both sides suffered grievous losses, a week later, over 13,500 carriebeanain soldiers were marched into captivity as the city was surrendered to the allied forces.

in 1787, the carriebeanian empire is formed after a disastrous war with European powers for seven years.
in 1855, after the failed religious awakening of the Talos Insurrection, a revolution happens that forces, among other things, the emperor sharing power with not only parliament, but a congress now, and he has to ask them for a declaration of war, instead of just fighting willy nilly.
1861, the nation has a civil war against several secessionist states wanting greater autonomy in dealing with other nations, they are defeated and the republican monarchy is still allowed to flourish after nine years of fighting in 1870.
1874, several Nobles get pissed off at the results of the civil war end treaty four years later, and succeed their states to create the republic of southern carriebean, which lasts for only three years, and is defeated in another civil war in 1877.
1880-1895 the carriebeanian forces begin colonizing several parts of Africa and help Norway grab a few pieces as well. the carriebeanian leaders are ill coordinated in their efforts and are using outdated technology in a war against technologically advanced and superior tactical thinking of the Serdian empire.

Political issues: during the begining of the time period of 1870, many angry nobility sought to establish their own nation, and so there are high risks of revolt. there is also a mindset in this nation that the Constitution may or may not be amended, with several perfectionists, (later the Anti Amenders) and several people pointing out several flaws ( Pro Amenders). these two groups combined in both houses lead to fun games of shoot the congressman or parliamentarian representative.

Chance of revolt:(yes/no) in this time period? oh hell yes.

Greatest Victory: 1st Civil war, 1640 Battle of Plainsveiw, over 15,000 royalist forces were camped on a hill overlooking a major grainery town for the night. General Nairestun, did not think an attack would happen, and so spread out his forces in three groups of 5,000 men each, one along a row of trees that held a bridge that led into the city, another near a lookout position that might alert the other two groups, and a third with himself asleep in the town center. during a rainy and stormy night, over 6,700 parliamentarian forces arrived under the command of the best general of the war, Thomas Hampton sr. ( 1596-1651) seeing his force at an advantage, defeated each army with superior numbers.

Most Embarrassing Defeat: Siege of Tortuga ( 1779)- over 23,000 carriebeanian pirate soldiers were hold up in the city, and through ingenuous methods such as sinking ships to form a blockade, salvaging the guns and throwing lit cannonballs down steep slopes at the enemy, they were able to hold them off for 39 days, though both sides suffered grievous losses, a week later, over 13,500 carriebeanain soldiers were marched into captivity as the city was surrendered to the allied forces.

NATION INFORMATION

Nation name: Kingdom of Arengin

National goals:To expand our influence by both sea and land, and by trade, diplomacy or force if we have to

Nation's Leader:King Oswyn II

National Government: (explain it's workings and set-up)There exist two councils, each headed by the king.
The national council is compromised of one representative for each region, territory, or province. The council proposes laws and votes on them, they can appoint judges, authorize the creation or addition of new provinces. And appoint governors for that region or province depending on what the people voted for the most. However the council and the king have the final say. The representatives are voted by the people and serve a term of 6 years, and can be re elected. the king has final say in things regarding national security.

The military council is headed by the king and the appointed commander of each branch of the military. the members of the council are the highest of military commanders whiting the Royal Arengin Forces. they can propose and advice in times of war or civil strife.

National history:Back in the middle ages, The Arengin region was no more than grasslands, woods, and mountain ranges. It was when colonists from the the northern and eastern regions decided to settle in the year 1078 when the Arengin culture was born. It was all simply a mix of small camps and settlements that dominated the region. In 1127 many different tribes, and settlements joined together to make the kingdom of Aren, named after their leader King Aren Glad.

After the Aren kingdom was declared it became a time of prosperity and peace, until the day the Aydiniran expeditions began to enter Aren territory in the Urus mountains. This would be the first contact between the two civilizations and would mark a decisive confrontation between the two.

For the people of Arengin this era was known as the Age of Iron, since for years now the region had enjoyed its near endless iron and gold mines. The people of both kingdoms couldn't communicate with each other and eventually some confrontations came to occur. Not wanting to start a war King Ulir went on to meet with the Mazdarani himself. During the meeting with the commander both sides used Romulan language to communicate as well as their own translaters who tried to decipher each others languages. This resulted in trouble since King Ulir demanded to meet King Ravas in person the young commanders became offended by the king's demand and both began insulting each other, with the translaters not helping much to the situation.

Eventually the young commander, who's name was Arźan Ćandrashif, proclaimed that she would conquer these lands and get rid of the barbaric pest that were the Aren people. King Ulir then warned that either the invaders leave by their own will or he would personally remove them. Ulir then left. It is foretold by the Shahinayan people that Ulir made sexist remarks regarding Arźan Ćandrashif's status as a commander being a female, however this rumor is of questionable truth, since Ulir himself had appointed many women in positions of power during his reign.

The Mazdarani expedition had about 6 thousands men (and women), in it about 4 thousands soldiers and 2 thousands settlers, scouts and so on.

So after that beautiful day when both Arźaan and Ulir insulted each other, she decided that some barbaric warchief of some distant and uncivilized land will not threaten them. Mazdarani expedition, having mighty Urus Mountains just before them couldn't enter the very territory of Aren Kingdom. She also ignored barbarian threats and didn't retreated. Instead she set up a camp in a mountain pass and send her scouts to explore this new and unknows lands around Urus Mountains (but rather north from Urus). Knowing that this region is inhabited by barbaric peoples she wanted to know if this region is rich enough to colonize it or not. She wanted also maps of this foreign territories.

After a few weeks, when army of that strange and arrogant people did not retreat and was still camping in the mountain pass and ignoring his words (but they weren't moving deeper inside Arenginian territory), king Ulir decided to fulfill his previous promises. He gathered his warriors and moved to face the enemy.

Arźan was prepared for something like that, she ordered to fortify her camp. When Arenginians came they had numerical superiority but Mazdarani created strong fortification and had much better strategy and tactic (sure, Aren warriors were great warriors but Mazdarani had experience of several thousands years of Aydinirian military tradition).
There was a battle or rather several of them. Arenginians three times tired to break Mazdarani lines and fortifications and three times in bloody battles they were repulsed.

Most battles there would be many loses on both sides. However, the Arenginians would lose more men due to their tactic of trying to overwhelmed rather than using actual tactics.

King Ulir in disbelief observed like his brave warriors are repulsed by this strangers, and couldn't understand why. Then he noticed that each time his men attacked, strangers used a different tactic and differend formation, each one unfamiliar for him and his men.

During the fourth attack kind ordered his men to use tactic which, as he observed, was used by this strangers and their witch-commander. Using a weapon of his enemies against them allowed Arenginians to finally, although with great looses, break enemy lines.

Arźan seeing like this barbarians were breaking her positions and threatening civilians, ordered to retreat. Small Mazdarani expedition suffered much smaller looses than Arenginians, but Mazdarani were far from their homeland and couldn't count for any reinforcements. She ordered to move back to the plains north from Urus Mountains.

As for Arenginians, they suffered heavy losses but king Ulir won and drove out this foreigners. And military tactics he learned from them allowed him to conquer many other tribes and create future might of Aren Kingdom.

Despite King Ulir had managing to drive the invaders back, however he would not allow them to get back unscathed, considering he had lost more than 6,000 men to a force of inferior size. Against the advice's of his pacifist council he followed the Mazdarani and stalked them for weeks until the day came that he could inflict them a blow that would make a statement that the Aren people would not be subjugated.

After ordering her forces to retreat at the overwhelming attack Arźan Ćandrashif was confident that on her return to King Ravan she would persuade him into giving her command of an even bigger army to defeat the Arenginian barbarians and become governor of the new colonized lands. However during her retreat through the Lalonian river, her forces and settlers came across a narrow pass that would lead them to a more direct route to her homeland not having to pass the frozen mountains. She decided to go through the pass. During the odyssey the Mazdarani were ambushed by hundreds of hidden Aren poachers and archers who inflicted heavy casualties from the otehr side of the pass, hidden by the snow. Even made the Mazdarani lose many of their horses and chariots by them falling to their doom.

Ćandrashif in disbelief then lead her people back to the river, however she was ambushed again by the stalking forces of Ulir, who began to mercilessly dispatch every Mazdarani warrior. Ćandrashif herself was wounded but kept leading her people to safety despite the odds. Despite this she would commit a terrible mistake by making her men cross the river to the safety of the mountains exposed. Amidst the chaos a good chunk of her warriors were killed by archers of drowned by the pursuing Aren warriors.

Eventually she was able to get her people to safety, and Ulir having inflicted a clear message decided to leave them to their fate. The night after the battle the Arenginian legend tells that Arźan , devastated by her loses began crying besides an oak tree. By that the mountain pass was renamed the Broken Tears pass. However whether this legend is true is debatable since no one was present when the so called crying began. Arźan was also known for being of strong character and crying was not a thing she often did.

After the battle, Arźan was forced to lead her people back home by leading them through the frozen mountains, despite the suffering she managed to make it back home without losing anymore people. She pleaded King Ravan to give her the men to redeem herself, however King Ravan, being 10 times wiser than the young commander decided to never send anymore expeditions and leave the Aren kingdom alone, showing respect for his counterpart, King Ulir.

During the Battle at the Pass Mazdaniani lost only a few hundreds soldiers and most of their horses, but during the river ambush Arźan lost over 3000, both soldiers and civilians. Despite her ferocity in battle she couldn't change the fate. Barbarian archers and poachers shot from behind the rocks, bushes and trees. And Arenginian horsemen and footmen alike would show no mercy on the invaders. She lost many good men and was wounded herself.

After many months, when she arrived to her homeland and asked for a chance to redeem herself, she asked for 25,000 soldiers (About half of the Mazdaran army) and she would personally bring Ulir's head. He couldn't send half his armies, because his country would be eaten by other city-states. Maybe if he recreated Aydinirian Empire... but it never happened.

King Ravas started to colonize lands which were closer to his domine becoming a king that ruled with justice and for the good the people. It made the rest of kings afraid of him. Eventually Ravas called for all the kings of the Aydiniran states to gather for an assembly to finally reestablish the Aydiniran empire. However, with the help of his own brother the Kings of the other states would assassinate him in cold blood. His last words to his betraying brother, "You... my own kin... you have forsaken me... you've forsaken us all...." Rava's brother would take the crown and become a puppet for the other states, while assuring his people that Ravas was a hero and he would never be forgotten and had battle the barbarians of Arengin, thus setting off a bad name for the Arenginian people in Aydiniran lands.

After they assassinated him, the settlements he created were abandoned.

As for King Ulir, during the ending years of the Age of Iron he would strengthen the Aren armie's to measure at about 60,000 men this is an effort to prepare if the Mazdaran came back. This never happened. Ulir died in 1347 witnessing the Age of Dominion and how his nephew and successor, King Alexei would follow his lead to expand the Aren Kingdom and defeat the Arglorian tribes. For many years however, Ulir would try to contact the Aydiniran people again in order to resolve past grievances, tragically he was never able to find these people or talk with the king. In his dying breath Ulir emphasized to his nephew "Son... don't let the people fall into hatred for them... It is the only..." Ulir was never able to finish his sentence before he passed away at the age of 89. despite Alexei attempts to keep the Aren people from growing bitter towards the Aydiniran people most common person would associate them as invaders and cowards.

This war would seal a deep hatred from both sides for hundreds of years.

For almost 600 years the Aren Kingdom went on to become a prosperous empire that was vast and filled with resources and regions of all. However, it was in the year 1712 that The Kingdom was invaded by the Pretiot Dominion, a mix of different tribes and clans that followed the lead of a man simply known as the Supreme. The invasion began as a victory for the Pretiots, and the Aren Kingdom following the lead of King Jomar the III retreated to the mountains in order to prepare for a the retake of Aren. The war lasted more than 100 years, with both sides claiming major victories and losses. it was finally by 1819 that Prince Davlec led a successful attack on the city of Priog, the last Pretiot bastion of defense. The battle ended in the death of the last Supreme of the Petriots and by consequence the end of the Petriot Dominion.

After the war Prince Davlec was named king and people waited for years of peace and prosperity under the leadership of King Davlec, however Davlec opted to turn the Aren Kingdom into a Constitutional Monarchy, where the people would have a word in the leadership of the nation. The Aren Kingdom was then renamed the Arengin Kingdom. And for an entire century, the nation went through years of prosperity and freedom.

Small Mazdarani expedition suffered much smaller looses than Arenginians, but Mazdarani were far from their homeland and couldn't count for any reinforcements. She ordered to move back to the plains north from Urus Mountains.

As for Arenginians, they suffered heavy losses but king Ulir won and drove out this foreigners. And military tactics he learned from them allowed him to conquer many other tribes and create future might of Aren Kingdom.

Despite King Ulir had managing to drive the invaders back, however he would not allow them to get back unscathed, considering he had lost more than 6,000 men to a force of inferior size. Against the advice's of his pacifist council he followed the Mazdarani and stalked them for weeks until the day came that he could inflict them a blow that would make a statement that the Aren people would not be subjugated.

During the odyssey the Mazdarani were ambushed by hundreds of hidden Aren poachers and archers who inflicted heavy casualties from the otehr side of the pass, hidden by the snow. Even made the Mazdarani lose many of their horses and chariots by them falling to their doom.

Ćandrashif in disbelief then lead her people back to the river, however she was ambushed again by the stalking forces of Ulir, who began to mercilessly dispatch every Mazdarani warrior. Ćandrashif herself was wounded but kept leading her people to safety despite the odds. Despite this she would commit a terrible mistake by making her men cross the river to the safety of the mountains exposed. Amidst the chaos a good chunk of her warriors were killed by archers of drowned by the pursuing Aren warriors.

Eventually she was able to get her people to safety, and Ulir having inflicted a clear message decided to leave them to their fate. The night after the battle the Arenginian legend tells that Arźan , devastated by her loses began crying besides an oak tree. By that the mountain pass was renamed the Broken Tears pass. However whether this legend is true is debatable since no one was present when the so called crying began. Arźan was also known for being of strong character and crying was not a thing she often did.

After the battle, Arźan was forced to lead her people back home by leading them through the frozen mountains, despite the suffering she managed to make it back home without losing anymore people. After many months, when she arrived to her homeland and asked for a chance to redeem herself, she asked for 25,000 soldiers (About half of the Mazdaran army) and she would personally bring Ulir's head. He couldn't send half his armies, because his country would be eaten by other city-states. Maybe if he recreated Aydinirian Empire... but it never happened.

King Ravas started to colonize lands which were closer to his domine becoming a king that ruled with justice and for the good the people. It made the rest of kings afraid of him. Eventually Ravas called for all the kings of the Aydiniran states to gather for an assembly to finally reestablish the Aydiniran empire. However, with the help of his own brother the Kings of the other states would assassinate him in cold blood. His last words to his betraying brother, "You... my own kin... you have forsaken me... you've forsaken us all...." Rava's brother would take the crown and become a puppet for the other states, while assuring his people that Ravas was a hero and he would never be forgotten and had battle the barbarians of Arengin, thus setting off a bad name for the Arenginian people in Aydiniran lands.

After they assassinated him, the settlements he created were abandoned.
