1 more thing- I may not have any power over this thread; but I hope you both realize how ridiculous and unrealistic both of you have been. You don't suddenly launch attacks on someone without a reason and previously notifying them, you don't post twice in rapid succession while another person is offline and claim that you RPed it out and gave them adequate time to respond, and most of all, you do not use nukes in a RP without the OP's prior consent. Ever. Shaz, Paddy; you should know better than this.

A: His movement was done in conjunction with mine over a period of literally DAYS. Everyone saw it, and even fucking Asigna Meta gamed and dropped passive sonar in response. Which that coupled with the fact that this took place over a period of almost three days of posting as well as the attack being planned for nearly a week ooc, should be all the justification anyone needs to recognize it as cannon.

B: We have plenty of IC and OOC reason to blast this edgelord into the nether, not including him begging for people to attack him as per usual Asigna SOP in the OOC.

Both of you moved your fleets to participate in the Choson conflict, presumably engaging Choson and its allies in the battlespace around Choson. Nothing indicated that you’d be striking at the mainland of any combatant nation, much less nuke it off the face of the Earth. Nothing prior to the last posts where your SSBNs received their orders to Asigna out of the blue, as far as I can see anyway. FYI, the two posts in quick succession part as well as most of my earlier post referred to Shaz, not you. I apologize for the confusion.

Truth be told, I dislike the use of WMDs in general. Too often it ends in petty squabbles, much like the one we’re having right now. But realism is about what happens in real life, and Syria most certainly has used chemical WMDs previously. So while the use of nuclear weapons isn’t permissible in conventional combat, chemical weapons are. Either way, biological, chemical or radiation based weapons should be avoided as much as possible, and nuclear weapons are, and will always be a massive no-no. From what I’ve seen of my two years on this site, nukes have always been a massive breach of etiquette.

Look, I get it- you’re not the only ones who’ve expressed problems with Asigna. But RPing isn't about defeating other nations in combat- there are better sites for that sort of strategy than NS. RPing is about writing a story, and enjoying doing so with other people. It's not a medium for you decimate someone you hate- that's why so very few war RPs between people who dislike each other end in anything but OOC conflict. If you can’t agree with each other, then agree to disagree and don’t RP with each other.
