New Chilokver wrote:International Waters

If one looks back towards their childhood and boyhood days, they will inevitably encounter memories of the schoolyard and the colourful variety of characters it held. You could divide them into two groups- the more confident daredevils, and the smaller, more intellectual kids. And surely everyone remembers the bullying that occurred to the latter group from the former. Expand this onto a global scale, and one begins to understand the conflicts incited by global, imperial powers. Through military force and threats, smaller nations are pushed to postulate before them, become vassals. This was the scourge of the international stage- those who sought to deprive nations of their sovereignty; such nations as slavers, or warmongers like SACTO.

Now think back again, and remember how those fights were stopped. Words and pleading were no shield against big sticks and force. Instead, you had to fight back. Arm yourself, arm your friends and band together, stick toether. For no matter their strength, bullies are all cowards at heart. With their overwhelming power, they had beat Chosan to its knees, massacred its citizens, destroyed its military. It was time for change, time for them to get a taste of their own medicine.

The fleet steaming towards Chosan was not small by any standards- indeed, it consisted of nearly half of Chilokver's naval power and thousands and thousands of tons of steel. Against the combined forces assaulting DRC however, those ships would be crushed like a tin can. The 1st Battlefleet needed to bide its time, choose its targets carefully. And first on its target list were the Selkies. Their expeditionary fleet would be the first to cross their sights, and the first to be shot down.

From the onset, they had been at a disadvantage. Publicly broadcasting the departure of their fleet had allowed its tracking by SATSUN, or Satellite Surveillance Network. Now tracked to the waters off Chosan, it would be intercepted and cornered. The AEW&C aircraft were the first to spot them. The 4 CE-01 Leopards patrolling ahead off the fleet picked up the radio communications of the OPFOR, sending their approximate location back to the commanders aboard the GCNS Principality via data links with the other fighters in the air, and finally direct radio communications. Alarms were raised, orders distributed, formation assumed.

From his seat in the command chair on the bridge of the Principality, Grand Admiral Victor Chen raised his radio and spoke one word.

"Fire."

A staggered barrage of missiles was pushed out of their launch tubes by clouds of smoke and flame. As they rose, their noses tilted to run parallel to the surface of the ocean. For each ship, one 200kg was delivered on its way. Each one would be guided by the Leopards, up until the point they encountered the Selkie expeditionary force, where upon they would use their own active and passive radar and INS/GPS guidance to home in on their ships. With a final sprint speed of up to Mach 2.5-2.9, there would only be a sparse few minutes for the enemy to detect and shoot them down, something made much harder by their thrust vectoring capability and super-manoeuvrability.

SDFS Sealgaire.
"Missile launches!", the radio officer shouted from what he heard from one of their ASW-helicopters.
So unfriendly after all..., Curadh thought - they had detected the fleet approaching them a while ago - or rather their AWACS aircraft, detecting, but not attacking. It was an arrangement of the kind You don't attack me, I don't attack you, but apparently, the other side thought differently.
Of course, a Utility helicopter was not a full fledged AWACS aircraft, but one could do one thing or the other with it. For example aiming missiles and Electronic Countermeasures.
Radar said, that it were around two dozen missiles launched at them, fast approaching the 9th Corvette Squadron. Five Scoth-class Corvettes.
"Let's send them to Calib.", Curadh ordered with a frown.

SDFS Criosantamam.
The SDFS Criosantamam was a new ship, originally stationed in Scilly, just before transferred to Wembury.
Captain Liam Nua of the Tribe of Galway, commander of the squadron and its flagship, received his orders with a nod.
That nod served as the signal for his officers as well.
The ESM systems were working continuously, collecting data, listening to the electromagnetic waves of the AWACS and now missiles. The missiles were apparently guided by the AWACS aircraft, which they couldn't really jam with the Scoths, as those lacked ECM-systems - what they had, though, were MASS.
Multi-Ammunition Softkill Systems.
Thanks to the helicopters, they knew, that the missiles were coming, but could not establish target locks onto them as the utility helicopters were not really part of the Battlescape Network.
As the corvettes turned to face the enemy with their bows, the highly advanced decoy launchers went to work. MASS dispensed decoys operating on all relevant wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum in order to confuse guided missiles and the sensors guiding them.
The first decoys went into the air, confusing a few of the missiles, but not all by a long shot.
Meanwhile, the first missiles went into the air as well, from the VLS-shafts - long-range surface to air missiles, aimed at the AWACS aircraft, two for each. Selkie ship-mounted SAMs could switch between being active radar homing and infrared homing, exploding once being close enough and sending out 200 high-velocity tungsten shrapnels, shredding any enemy hit to pieces.
Then the corvettes' radar finally got a lock onto the incoming missiles, finally enabling them to act against them.
The Ceantar C-84 Mark Is, two on each Corvette, five Corvettes, plus small point defense missiles from the VLS went to work, shooting down missiles, including with support of the other Selkie-ships.
Two passed through the first line of corvettes: A second later, the SDFS Balla was hit by one of them, causing massive damage to the older Sciath-class Corvette, effectively taking her out. The other missile was destroyed in the air by CIWS-fire from closest range, scattering shrapnel onto the SDFS Maev, killing a sailor and wounding three others, while bits and pieces of shrapnel punched into the ships of the 9th Corvette Squadron, wounding eight sailors. Besides scratches on the paintwork, SDFS Anamóine lost her radar, but not her datalink, so she was mostly fine, as long as she staid in the group.
The game was on.

SDFS Cnoc.
The Flagship of the 15th Fast Gunboat Squadron provided cover for its charges, 18 Faolchu-II-class FACs.
Thanks to the enemy opening fire first, there was no doubt about their intentions, so they could return fire as they pleased - and that was their forte.
As the last incoming missiles were shot down, as the SAMs went up towards the AWACS, the 15th Fast Gunboat Squadron turned to starboard, while SDFS Rós and SDFS Maev were moving forward to make up the vanguard. The Fleet Oiler Wadebridge began with rescue operations onboard the heavily damaged Balla.
With their move, the game continued.
On nearly all relevant frequencies for open broadcasts, a call went out: "This is Vice Admiral Amy Curadh of the Tribe of Wicklow aboard SDFS Sealgaire. Whoever just fired at us, be aware, that this was an act of aggression and that we will reply accordingly. If you want to retreat, now is your chance."
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

Irrelevant
The recent developments in Choson-Chosan-Chosen-DPRK-ripoff have alerted the Ahuriya-Veryput-led socialist bloc of Synkomese states. The overthrow of the Chosan-Choson-Chosen-DPRKese government and its replacement with one dangerously close to falling into the net of the Zyrikan degeneration is one that must be reverted. Emergency corrective measures must be implemented. It was Veryput's idea, that one state that embraced the Souriyan ideology of Popular Revolutionary Resistance for reasons unknown. It was made clear that Chosan must not fall against the onslaught of imperialist hordes that have brazenly congregated around her pristine and holy shores and devastating her people with a total absence of humanity and disregard for the Chosanese. The Synkomese socialist states shall come to the rescue of the Chosanese comrades in this dire moment.

Rallied and gathered at the various ports of the Synkomese socialist states were legions of volunteer troops selected and organized from the states' own armed forces, not only were they burning with revolutionary zeal and the desire to assist the Chosanese people against the ones who threaten their very lives and existence they were well-equipped, such demonstrated that in a synergy the power of a combined entity can provide for plenty. Many used small arms common on the international market such as AK-74s and bullpup QBZ-95s, but going up, much of their inventory comprised standardized Synkomese hardware such as the Synfighter used in their air force and the SynDDG of which their navies were equipped with. Collectively rejoicing they were indulging in the greatness provided by the power of the Synkom's combined might.

Yet the urgent matter at hand was the rescue of the Chosanese people from the imperialists with their hands, no, devilish claws, on the neck and throat of the Chosanese motherland. In ranks with other comrades of similar desires to liberate Chosan from the dark clouds hanging above it, the Synkomese socialist coalition forces will quickly arrive in Chosan and begin combat against capitalist aggressor foes as soon as they make landfall while also carrying numerous supplies intended for the Chosanese people's well-being. Both naval and aerial routes will be employed in their delivery.

International Waters
Heading towards both Chosons

Several transport planes carrying Novayan Red Cross personnel and humanitarian supplies were heading towards both Chosans. Carrying on-board Novayan C-130s (colored blue) were Novayan soldiers, whose helmets and armbands were blue so as to not get mistaken for troops sent to help either side.

From: The Novayan government
To: All parties involved

Our planes carrying Novayan Red Cross personnel, humanitarian supplies, and Novayan guards (actually military soldiers sent as guards for the delivery of humanitarian supplies) are heading towards both East and West Chosons. Please, do not engage the Novayan Red Cross and Novayan Armed Forces personnel! We have no interests in joining this war, we are neutral.
READ BELOW!

I RP as Novaya, a Human militaristic nation (cuz anime) and an archipelagic country. I also RP as the Novayan Stellar Commonwealth, a FanFT/FanFFT nation.
Please refer to me/my nation as Novaya in both IC and OOC, NOT Novaya Equestria.

Villenocte

There was only one empty seat in the Council's table. Not that there was something important that they convened, but there was some schmuck that called the elevens because of some vague reason. It's obviously not the janitor breaking the coffee maker, its the main housekeeper's job to fire the guy. It's from someone with a struck out name. It wasn't the Forehead, the Kaistiras was also there. Not Aries, she got the message as well. The only one absent was Mollevaine, away from a self-imposed vacation after the Emergency Initiation Event (EIV) 003.

There was awkward silence for quite a while, the Council was supposed to do something else. Arie has to do some boatwatching (and losing weight). Polyas has postponed a meeting in Carolina, concerning Shakya, Clavestvo and the socialist bloc of the House of Peers. Empress Heiki... she has things to do, I guess. I don't have much to do with Mingwok at the moment. Pellogini has to rectify senate-passed laws back in Napoli (and deal with Vicente Corlupe's consigns).

A waste of time for all of them.

"You know what? Arrest the guy who called us in, I'm going ho--"

"A GREAT FLEET COMES TO CHOSAN! CVECAGRAD CALLS FOR AID! CVECAGRAD CALLS FOR AID!" A man in a suit interrupts Heiki with the door slammed open.

A short silence followed.

"Ricky what the fuck are you doing here." Polyas replies in sudden exasperation.

Worker's Conference for People's Struggle, Parties for Socialist Unity and Victorialan Coalition of Vanguard States Common Convention 2016
Carolina

"Our success to uphold a people-oriented policy within our places of operation has become indubitable evidence that a revolution through the ballot has become a better option, especially in the age where cultural capitalism has faded away enough to decrease the warrant of stronger methods. As we project it to be, the recent victory of Nueva Democracia in Cistrano's elections is an act closer towards our path to socialism in the Commonwealth. Thank you and may our International march on!"

A resounding clapping ensued, including the obviously annoyed Maoists (of course, armed revolution has been their central schtick ever since like, I dont know, Mao was born I guess) in the right edge of the convention halls. Tarvello Oulakis, a confidant of Sakarvelo Polyas has came in his absence.

The leaders of the 8 institutionally modernist and socialist nations of the House of peers were dissapointed in the lack of Polyas. There are rumors that it involves the conflagration in Chosan. For Arnestul of the Pannono-Dalmatian NDR hopes it's not, he still desires further elopement with the Juche ideal.

Pacific Command Headquarters
Rockall Territory
Rockall's Archipelago (987 km NW of Hawai'i)

The Pacific Command is the most fortified and most armed of the ten oceanic bases of the United Armed Forces. Three of the deserted islands of Rockall are inhabited by the issued divisions and top brass of the Armed Forces of the consented members in the House of Peers. Some parts of the Pacific Command are ocean habitats and sea forts built under Hallaveti blueprints.

Domes and great walls of concrete, the domes guarding the top naval assets of the command, with two towers, of which a hatch is put upon its aerial assets stand lie silent, other than some great ships patrolling the place like chinks over the spratlys. Within the enigmatic structures, particularly the walls, lie the greenery developed by the UAFV's efforts. Farms and lush, clean environments, where the soldiers of many banners exist in relative vigilant peace. The only stratocracy in the House of Peers.

Upon its center a council of involved generals convene. A long table. A vertical last supper. A particular time. They wait for orders in Villenocte. Chosan.

Upon the pervading silence, a door opens, a man with a message. He comes and whispers to one of them.

"Sir, a special order from the Sovereign Council has been issued. An intervention in Chosan has been approved." The involved general stood and gestured towards his colleagues.

"Alright, let's get his over with. Mobilize the necessary forces."

NOTICE TO DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTIONARY CHOSON

We have no interests in helping any sides, but we will not at all accept Communists to rule.
We give you an ultimatum.

You have a week to withdraw your troops from Western Choson, otherwise we will perform air raids on your country, bombing your people and your army.

Remember, you have got seven days.

IC:
SCENE: ISS Jerginsoth, 3rd Medium Assault Naval Battlegroup

The fleet was on approach to the territory of Choson. Sattelite Intelligence was tracking all the fleets in the area, double checking IFF's and seeing what groups were friendly, and which groups were not. This wasn't that hard of a task, but it needed some double checking with intelligence from the Office of Naval Intelligence as well as other Intelligence Agencies within the Empire. They wanted to ensure that they don't send a message to someone who isn't authorized to receive it. With their final approach authorized by Naval Command, they set a course for the closest allied fleet.

SECRET IC:
SCENE: ISS Derminack, Joint Submerged Naval Battlegroups

It was a scene that was hardly seen throughout the Empire. The most Submarines deployed in one go has begun it's separation to locales around the region. Within the next hour, they were set in their launch positions roughly 215 Nautical Miles off of the coast of their target nation along a linear segment roughly 140 Nautical Miles long. This was to ensure maximum coverage of the land they were about to blast off the face of the planet.

25 Minutes Later
The missile launch doors across the Submerged Fleets opened up. It was determined by the Admiral that the time had come. He sent the order through to the remainder of the SSBN's The countdown was begun across a secured data communication throughout the fleet. Starting it at One Minute, the key's were inserted into the launch control panels on each and every one of the SSBN's, with their targets set. They were set to launch their missiles at the northern half of the target nation, with a concentration of Five missiles landing in and around the Capital District.
The countdown was reaching its final stages. Fifteen Seconds. They keys were turned and the missile control systems were counting down the final seconds to launch. Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three. Two. One. Then with what could only be described as reverse vertical rain if viewed from up close. Hundreds upon hundreds of SLBM's shot out of the water and into the sky. The targeting arcs on the missiles as viewed from the lead SSBN shows that they were on course to their targets. It was decided that it would not be made easy on the enemy, therefore all 874 SLBM's were dispatched. With each SLBM having a total of 8 Warheads each, there would be a total of 6992 Warheads streaming towards their targets. Soon, within 2 minutes, they would reach their destinations and completely annihilate The Greater Philippine Bayan of Asigna.

Task Force Alpha | SSBN Hydra | Approx 450Miles From Mainland Asigna | International Waters

Deep below the white capped waves, gliding deep and silent through the cold and dark waters, one of the Dominion Navies most modern and lethal weapons of war was quickly making it's way to it's intended hunting grounds. This sleek vessel, a foreign designed SSBN that was painted a dark grey, almost black color, was not alone in it's journey. Spread out over a few hundred square miles as to decrease chances of detection as well as provide insurances that if discovered, not all the eggs would be jeopardized, were four more identical SSBN groups making the same journey to their own hunting grounds.

Normally, these such groups would be patrolling around unseen across the worlds oceans, providing much needed force projection and deterrence against nations deemed unworthy or worrisome in the Dominions eyes. However, on this day, passive daily routine would once again be thrown out the window, as the Dominion and her allies showed the pathetic world that old dogs never tire, and that younger nations should eat a slice of humble pie and learn their damned place.

"Captain on Deck!"

The Captain of the ship, was a shorter fellow, with a slight amount of greying in his already thinning hair. He was wearing traditional officers attire as befitting his position, and his polished boots echoed off the cold and uncaring bulkheads as he swiftly make his way across the bridge to his XO, who was being bathed in a pulsing red light from numerous recessed led lights around the bridge.

"Sir, sorry to wake you at this early hour, but we just received a EAM from STRATCOM a few minutes ago." said the XO as he held out the slip of paper for the CO to read.

The CO quickly accepted the paper, and browsed over in depth the no nonsense contents printed upon it by the ships computer after decoding it.

"Authenticate message." was all he said, as he handed the slip of paper back to the XO. The XO turned and flanked by the master at arms, made their way to the far side of the bridge to a safe built into the bulkhead. The two men fished out their respective keys from a ring with hundreds of keys, and in turn unlocked the two locks on the safe. From inside, they pulled one of many containers and snapped it upon, revealing a 12 digit string of numbers and letters to authenticate the EAM.

While the MAA read the authentication slip out loud, the XO confirmed it against the corresponding code on the bottom of the EAM.

They matched.

Looking towards the CO with a look of slight horror on his face, the XO gave a thumbs up, signalling informally that the codes were a match and confirmed by both himself, and the MAA.

The CO turned and picked up a microphone nearby, and switched the system to PA to cover ship wide announcements.

"This is the Captain... as you all I'm sure are well aware of, this vessel received a EAM at approximately 0245 hours this morning.. and the EAM was just confirmed by senior staff on this vessel. Ladies and gentlemen, assume condition status one and prepare for immediate launch on SLBM tubes one through five. Com out."

With that he switched off the PA on the mic and turned toward his ships pilots.

"Navigation, all ahead slow and bring us slowly to launch depth."

"Aye Sir."

A buzzing from the wall behind him made him turn, and he picked up the receiver again.

"Com, weapons.." Came a slightly distorted voice over the speaker from several compartments away. "Eta for spin up of tubes one through five is one zero mikes, over."

"Good. Target package designation one tree five niner niner, you may being targeting upload when ready."

"Confirmed, ETA one zero mikes for targeting upload, ETA for full launch readiness in one five mikes."

"Keep me informed, Com out."

The CO hung up the receiver, and wiped the sweat from his brow. Unless something drastically changed, this was looking to be one hell of a ride.

30 Min Later.....

The sleek SSBN had been sitting just below the waves at launch depth, waiting for confirmation to either launch as planned or scuttle the launch. The crew, well drilled and practiced in their individual respective jobs, were beginning to tire from the constant strain associated with being on such a heightened alert status.

On the bridge, the Captain leaned against a cold bulkhead, and stared at the unlit screen used for EAM messages, wondering if he should break protocol and radio higher for further instructions. His thoughts were interrupted, when his XO handed him a cup of warm tea.

"Brewed fresh from the mess, just for you sir." he said, and both men exchanged brief smiles as a momentary lapse in the tension presented itself.

"What do you make of it, sir? Not like command to leave us waiting in the dark for this long."

"Agreed Thomas. In all my years, I've never seen anything like it."

"Do you think, that maybe it's possible that the EAM was a fake? Despite everything?" he asked in hushed tones.

The Captain paused for a moment, before shaking his head at the thought.

"No, I don't think so. Only one other nation on the planet knows our strategic net codes, and they sure as hell wouldn't press this down upon us."

Both mens conversation was cut short, when a buzzing sounded from the EAM device, indicating an incoming communication.

"All stations, prepare for incoming EAM." said the XO after quickly picking up the wall mounted receiver and switching it to PA. It took a moment, for the system to decode and decipher the incoming message, and print out it's contents for everyone to see. The CO tore the slip of paper free from the machine, and quickly scanned over it's contents.

"Well Sir, what does it say?" asked the XO.

The CO turned and slowly handed the paper to the XO to read for himself, with a thousand yard stare in his eyes.

Code: Select all
EAM: 0001-02
STRATCOM - SSBN-0005 "Hydra"
Encryption: AES/256Bt/CT

Situation:
-Unchanged
Orders:
- Immediate Launch of SLBM's at predetermined targets

"Order the launch." was all he managed to say, as he fished his launch key from around his neck for the MAA to take.

"Yes sir.." said the XO as he too, handed off his launch key to the awaiting MAA. The MAA then turned and walked over to the strategic launch panel, and inserted each key, unlocking it's control surface. A Map of the target country came online as soon as he did, with the individual target areas highlighted.

The wall mounted receiver rang for a short moment, before the CO answered it.

"Bridge..." was all he said.

"Com, Weapons.... SLBM status unchanged, and is green across the board. Ready to launch on your command."

"Standby to fire. Bridge Out."

"Sir, your pin please." asked the MAA from behind him. The Captain turned and walked over to the unlocked display, and from memory punched in his launch authorization pin. Upon hitting the enter key, several faint thuds could be heard, as the exterior hatches on the launch tubes opened, exposing Trident D5's as they sat armed and waiting in the cold darkness of the oceans.

"May god forgive us." he said and pressed the flashing launch icon on the screen.

He was surprised, when a "Are you sure you wish to launch Strategic Assets" message popped up on the screen. Annoyed, he pressed the "yes" button, and much to his dismay, another "Are you really, really sure you want to do this?" message flashed across his screen.

"Oh for fucks sake..." he cursed and pressed the yes button again.

The SSBN physically shuddered as the SLBM's were ejected from their tubes. The missiles traveled the short distance to the surface, and broke the waves with a splash of water before disappearing into a cloud of smoke and flame as their boosters ignited. Once the last missile left the surface, orders were given to dive below the therm layer, and quietly slip away further out to sea.

Across all submarines taking part in this attack, the same sequence played out as well, filling the sky overhead with death incarnate as it streaked towards a soon to be obliterated nation of Asigna.

* 46 Submarine Launched Ballistic Missiles (UGM-133 Trident II Upgraded) per submarine
* 12 475KT Warheads (W88 Warheads on Mk5 Mirv) per missile
* 552 warheads per submarine
* Total # Of Warheads: 2,760 W88's
Target Priority: High Value Civilian and Military Targets across all Asigna Districts, with an emphasis on the Capital District. Power plants, population centers, infrastructure, military bases, airports and runways, ect ect are being targeted.

Starfleet Command,
Mount Olympus Joint Military Base,
Pompious, Imperial Republic of New Rome

It had been a quiet night, hell, it had been a quiet career. The Lieutenant Cohortian had not chosen this position, but he was low in his class, so he was assigned to a less desired posting. This was as boring as it gets, just sitting, looking at many screens, most of the time showing nothing. He was tired, it was late, but he had to stay here until First Shift came in at 0600. So he sat there and stared. His CO, a Captain, seemed to be dozing in the command section. Not that he could blame the man.

On bank of monitors, one which he was in part responsible for, was the Satellite Early Warning System. This was a group of satellites that tried to identify missile launches in order to warn any potential targets. It was originally designed for use to protect the Imperial Republic (at the time it was just a Republic), but it has grown to have the system covering the globe. On one such monitor, a flash went off. "What in the name of Jupiter..." he muttered at he leaned in for a better look. On it was a launch, and a large one. "Holy shit! Captain" he shouted "we have a launch, a large one." At that the Captain snapped up and stared at the screen. "Info?"

"Not much at the moment, our satellite just went out of range. We'll have another over the area in-" he looked at a chart "-14 minutes. What I am sure of is that it is not directed at us, for sure. It is a sizable launch, most likely from a SSBN fleet."

"Nuclear?"

"Unsure at the moment, but we'll know soon enough."

"Thank you." The Captain turned to his phone to call his superior, who in turned called his. It was eventually decided that the Caesar did not need to be woken up and briefed; only if it turned out to be a nuclear blast would the Caesar be woken. All there was to do now was wait and see what happened. Many high officials were now awake, seeing what would happen next. Somewhere, word was leaked to the media that there was a large ballistic missile launch.

"Of course if the first sortie makes it back we can load even more. Or ask the Vics to provide cover."

"Not the point of the accords dingus."

An unspoken water break was permitted as everyone left the cramped room. Worries that grenades may be dispensed from above and kill everyone because of the sheer population density had caused severe distress amongst claustrophobic members of the Eighty-Nine. Most rushed for the toilet only to find out there was just one squatting slot. Stampede. Bloodshed. Fatalities. Many had split open their bowels to cleanse and purge them. Yaon was still masturbating to Overwatch porn, he wished Levirta was there so they could do some kinky BDSM roleplay shit. Levirta herself was working in an iteration of Heptapeiral Balkans for the Grand Yugoslav Underground Railway project digging tunnels. Milja had flew to Petargrad because her dad had announced his return to the music scene and the old man can't even lift a camera. 'Zi_Min' was back making Minecraft let's plays.

The loudspeakers dated to the 1970s. In their concept that is. The Synkom saw value in implementing features of a totalitarian state to an otherwise pretty liberal devolved confederation. As a Triptych member, something was needed to unify its ideologically overly-diverse states and people against the odds of modern day politics. Rhetoric was adopted by Cvecagrad, vilifying and discrediting a variety of ideologies from the 'SJW Left' to the Fourth International Theory - Septaktizam in particular was a heavy target of Synkomese propaganda - as threats to Synfederalist ideology and the unity of the peoples through their 'anti-synergistical' ideas by magnifying certain components or issues of society using it as an entry point to their mal-intentioned works.

One would often find the bizarre nature of propaganda in the Synkom, often as fanatical as those in the DPRK, to be highly contrary to its open, free and liberal society. Well it depends on the state you are in, one can easily agree Ratiaria, those butt-kissers of the Zyrikans, to be quite different from the pleasant conditions of the other Synkomese member states while Burgedalb was some odd 'socialist khanate'. Posters in the streets featured delicate work of a variety of styles, often hybridizing them to create artistic synergy, and in them, what could you expect? An impressional image of a bekrija-vojnik destroying Septaktizam or any other vilified foreign ideology through methods such as smashing them with his rakija-filled fists or commanding their detonation with a single button-on-a-metal-brick. Others featured wet-dream images of the SIAF marching into Srbislava, 'Emancipation of our Brothers' written in calligraphic cyrillic below.

Citing fallacies of these ideologies' believers was also a common theme among the gallery of posters. A running joke was that Septaktinista, while accusing others of wearing a 'zhuangzi jin', whatever that was to make themselves more self-righteous, wore a 'biggest and best-sewn one of them all'. Still, how they painted these elements in feces did not matter, what mattered was that the populace saw nothing covered or painted in faeces as anything good. Really even in Cvecagrad's own spewings they posed no real threat to the Synkom and were merely treated as 'memes being memes in their corner of the world'. What was the point of this? Were they just fucking around?

Then was the music. Marches with vocals surpassing the strength of the State Merited Chorus of the norks and instrumentals as grand and powerfully woven as that of the choir of the Krasnaya Armiya. Guess what the lyrics were? Eh, some generic recycled Roki themes speaking of junaci i heroji and how the motherland they defend. It's worth charging into battle with it on your lips but not much more given its another element Cvecagrad hypocritically recycled from 'generic commie psychotic dicktatorships'.

In the 1990s, Srbicans started to put screens, yes big screens, along the city, where people witnessed alleged horrors committed by Tropoljak and/or Khrovat forces in the Tropoljean war. Nowadays they did the same thing just with alleged atrocities committed by those Cvecagrad didn't like, sometimes broadcasting films so people can watch them for free, and all that. Military footage was also popular serving as filler for hours of lack of any real appreciable content. The whole city started to look like a Balkanslav spinoff of Orwell's worst nightmare. Or even worse, a filming backdrop - or even directly a scene - for some new version of Nineteen Eighty-Four. They did that once ironically in 2008 when a director from the north tried making his own interpretation of Orwell's masterpiece.

This doesn't have anything to do with the thread. Mods please ban me for derailment.

"The United Socialist Sea Forces should rendezvous with their Counterparts over the sea. They have more numbers than theirs to add on to their fleet."

"What if something happens to the USSF?"

"We come."

"Surely, should we split paths you have technical guarantee that you could respond in no time."

"We will, Inshallah. It's not like the Beatniks didn't grow up."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing, just something of a self-reflecting statement."

"You'll have much of that once we're done. If you have anything else to say, please speak."

"Then our meeting has concluded then. Lux Æterna."

The screens close to pitch black, leaving Quinta Alvera to her own device. The fleets path ways, the USSF diverging.

Quinta takes a cigarette and makes it burn upon a small dot of red glowing heat upon the table. She takes it to her mouth, and breathes it in, and out. The cirrus of smoke dissipating in the hall.

GCNS Principality

“…If you want to retreat, now is your chance.”

The low static cut off, and the bridge was silent once more. Grand Admiral Chen’s mouth rose, the corners curving in a wry smile. Suddenly, he chuckled, though not an iota of humour came out.

“So they think this is a game do they? Foolish Selkies will lose it with their lives.”

1st Battlefleet

The advantage was with them. They had made the first move, and engaged the enemy with no losses. The Chilokveri weren't going to lose their streak now.

With their powerful radars, the two Leopard AWACS were hardly going to miss the 4 missiles streaking towards them. That made almost no difference however, when they were armed with no weapons, nothing to defend themselves with. It was the equivalent of a knife being thrown at you and not being able to move aside.

Fortunately, they had help.

The first SAM blew apart in a deceptively soft whoomph, spliced almost down the middle by another, smaller missile. In quick succession, the surface to air missiles were shot down by their aerial counterparts- Advanced Long Range Air to Air Missiles, or ALRAAMs. No one in the fleet had been fool enough to send out 2 of the fleets most valued assets without protection. The CE-01s might have been unarmed, but their bodyguards most certainly weren’t. 200 km behind them, a squadron of 16 CF-01 Goshawk single engine multirole fighters circled in the clouds, 16 stealthy black arrows forming a dense shield on the outskirts of the fleet. The first of many tiers of defense one would have to penetrate to strike against those 8 gray ships.

With enemy counter-attack warded off, at least for the time being, attention turned to their own move. There was no real question as to what to do- Chen himself had made it clear. Withdrawal was not an option when victory was so close to hand, not for the thousands of proud seamen onboard the long figures of the ships. Attack was the only path possible. No, the dilemma was, how? How were they to launch their second strike, and most importantly, how many missiles would they put behind it? Too many, and they ran the risk of sailing unarmed into the murderous hands of another coalition member. Too little, and the missiles they fired would not be capable of saturating and defeating enemy defences.

In the end, what decided it were the number, and type of targets they were aiming for. While the 18 Faolchu-II FAC would have been more at home in the littorals, where they would not be out-ranged by the superior electronics of full-sized warships, thanks to datalinks with the rest of their fleet, their weaponry was just as deadly out in the open sea. Each ship carried 4 missiles, equating to a total of 72 missiles possibly being lobbed into the air at them. Clearly, they had to be eliminated. While their datalink provided them with targeting equivalent to a full sized frigate, they still possessed pitifully little AA defense of their own. Glass cannon really, but that didn’t make them any less dangerous, or attractive of a target.

A second round of fireworks were launched with all the fanfare and pomp they deserved- 18 sonic booms reverberating off the surface of the ocean. That meant that thirty out of one hundred & fifty, or a whole ship’s worth of cruise missiles had been fired over to their destruction in glorious blazes of fire. One could only pray that those billions of dollars of high-tech weaponry had gone to good use.

Pyangyong
In preparation for the assault on noble East Choson's capital city, thousands of Arstotzkan troops swarmed the city, taking up defensive positions and readying to bring hell to enemy invaders, many Arstotzkans had pins with an Arstotzkan Eagle and a picture of Generalissimo Kim Choi-suk. Mig-27s bearing Arstotzkan eagles swept through the sky, strafing forces of the imperialists ever so often. In fact, Mig-27 strikes had become more common for invading armies. Arstotzkan soldiers were ready for a colonialist attack. They sung this song as they patrolled:
Arise, vast country,
Arise for a fight to the death
Against the dark fascist forces,
Against the cursed hordes.

Chorus: (2x)
Let noble wrath
Boil over like a wave!
This is the peoples' war,
a sacred war!

We shall repulse the oppressors
Of all ardent ideas.
The rapists and the plunderers,
The torturers of people.

Chorus

The black wings shall not dare
Fly over the Motherland,
On her spacious fields
The enemy shall not dare tread!

Chorus

We shall drive a bullet into the forehead
Of the rotten fascist filth,
For the scum of humanity
We shall build a solid coffin!

Chorus (2x)

Often they'd be joined by Chosanese troops (OOC: I hope this is okay). With their hearty voices singing to the glory of both nations.
Leyte Gulf OOC: Correct me if any of this is impossible, I do apologize
The Sea Eagle detected the numerous torpedoes right as they were launched and in the direction they traveled.
Countermeasures! shouted the Fleet Admiral Lilshova.
We don't have enough, and they probably could find a way to strike us anyways. shouted an officer. Havoc reigned on the bridge, but the countermeasures were launched, 15 to be precise. Once launching, the submarine took a radically different direction, towards the larger Arstotzkan fleet far off. Despite this, several torpedoes were still about to hit.
International Waters OOC: if you really want to, I can retcon this.
The Novayan humanitarian convoy was under sharp watch by Arstotzka's forces. 4 Victor-class submarines were on careful watch, avoiding detection but staying in range. This aid package was likely full of food, water, and medicine. Supplies that would likely find their way into the hands of IFC and OSAN forces. The order finally came, The convoy is war supplies under the guise of helping injured peoples, typical fascist lie. Sink the convoy.
The submarines rushed forward, almost definitely found in the SONAR of the convoy. But it was almost too late. Twelve RPK-7 Veter anti-ship missiles were launched and on course to strike the convoy. Surface ships gathered to seize surviving supply boats.
EDIT: The submarines surfaced and fired their AA weaponry straight at the convoy above.

"What the hell are you doing?!" A Novayan cargo plane pilot asked the Arstotzkans. "You're engaging Novayan planes carrying guards (to protect Novayan Red Cross personnel), Red Cross personnel, and humanitarian supplies! We're bringing them to the citizens of West Chosan and East Chosan! I repeat: We ARE carrying guards, Red Cross personnel, and humanitarian supplies so that we can distribute said supplies to the citizens of both Chosans! We are NOT bringing up arms!" A Novayan Red Cross officer—in charge of distributing medicines, food, and water—told them. "You're supposed to contact us on what we are carrying so that we can show you the humanitarian supplies!" He added.

The captain of the chief vessel communicated to the air convoy.
"Your supplies are being confiscated, immediately drop all supplies, or be shot down. The captain spoke to the other officers. "This way all the supplies go to our brothers in the east rather then the reactionaries in the west. The subs were all fully surfaced, and if the enemy did not comply, they would immediately open fire.

"Citizens are dying, and we're not giving them to either sides' forces! If you're not letting us deliver the supplies to the citizens of both Chosans because of this war, we're pulling out." The Novayan Red Cross officer said as the two Novayan Emergency Humanitarian Groups sent to deliver humanitarian supplies to the citizens of both Chosans began to turn around and head back towards the Novayan RDPR. The two groups then spread their numbers so as to not get shot down.

South of the Novayan cargo planes' location

The Novayan Ninth Fleet, which was currently returning from its 5 day search and rescue patrol mission of a downed plane (whose passengers were safely rescud), has been ordered to stop and launch its Carrier Air Group. Two squadrons, including three Novayan Air Force squadrons and an E 3 Sentry AWACS sent, were sent to escort the Novayan cargo planes home.

"Looks like we got another hostile comrades! Show no mercy!"

The captain did not waste any time giving the order to fire, the large group of submarines fired off another Salvo of 20 torpedo's towards the hostile submarine. Once again, the torpedoes were fired from a multitude of depths and angles, to aid rendering the submarines counter-manoeuvres useless. The smart torpedoes quickly streaked though the water, guided towards their targets. After tehey finished firing off the salvo at the doomed hostile submarine, the large group of subs began to leave the Leyte Gulf, following the Vanguard of Kalingrad back towards Chkalovsk.

Approaches to Kolkata, Hindustan

Nanda had gone through all the loading bays, taking and preparing everything he needed. Most of the crew was asleep and was not aware of what was about to happen until it was too late. Better for him - less chance for mutiny, although even that was unlikely in the given situation. He opened the hatch connecting the loading bay to a corridor running parallel to the ship's length, all the way to the engine room. Right above it and underneath the deck, there was a small cabin for maintenance crews. Nanda looked around in both directions, and listened for any movement other than the distant rumbling of the ship's engine. After verifying that nobody is around, he came out.

Nanda moved out, a cable dragging behind him and several metal rods in his hand. His backpack seemed heavy. He quickly climbed two metal staircases, his metallic steps cracking the silence of the ship's belly. He opened the maintenance cabin's hatch. Empty crates, tools and cogwheels with stains of grease littered the room. The cable finished here. Nanda plugged it into a small plastic box and proceeded to utilise the rods. The engine underneath him was running smoothly, although soon that noise was about to cease abruptly. After finishing his preparations, he left the cabin and headed to the bridge.

The ship's captain observed the port in the distance with his binoculars and the presence of massive military ships baffled him. Once he saw Nanda entering the bridge, he couldn't hold it.

"What the fuck have you gotten us into ? There's a whole fleet out there and you want us to "pick people up" from this port ?!"

"This is the assignment. And I'm sure you're not going to disobey an order."

The captain was looking at him, frozen and without moving a muscle. A second later, he softened up and turned his gaze to the port in the distance once again. He didn't like his orders. But everything he was ordered to do was done in the name of the Transitional Heavenly State. They would have to wait at the port.

Nanda took back to the deck and mounted an inflatable boat. Down on his way to the water surface, he took out his Rila device to send a final message to the Hindustani government that was going to offer him shelter.

FR: Capt. Nanda Thu

The ship is almost at the port, although you are probably aware of that. I've told the crew that nobody is suspecting our ship and we have covered our tracks well. The captain will believe that port security has been bribed off and we are just picking up extra cargo, as well as a technician contact to repair the damage from the sabotage to the communication system. Proceed with caution, the crew is armed.

I will land on a boat at the eastern bank of the Hooghly, about 3 km south of the port. Send only a ground patrol and keep it small. I am carrying sensitive information as well.

Message sent. His backpack tightly on his back, he powered the boat's motor and quickly headed to the secret location.

AA fire ripped out, concentrating at the two largest aide planes. They did indeed fail to comply and would be punished. If any cargo fell out, they would take it. They saw fighters coming in, and prepared to fire on them too, if they dare intervene.

Leyte Gulf

As the Chkalovskian South Pacific Fleet was pulling out, a proportion of submarines were still within the Leyte Gulf. Two Nuclear-powered Attack Submarines and and three Nuclear-powered Guided Missile Submarines were still operational in the Leyte Gulf, with the rest of the South Pacific Fleet located not too far into the Pacific Ocean. The Submarines were aware of the presence of the Arstotzkans and were notified that their ship was firing on humanitarian aid convoy and planes. The Vanguard of Kalingrad and its attached ships did a sharp u-turn in the Pacific Ocean and began mobilizing its aircraft, however held their position, as meanwhile, the submarines in the Leyte Gulf were ready to fire on their target, with both missiles and torpedoes.

"Team 1, fire!"

As the order came in from the lead sub, the two Nuclear-powered Attack Submarines fired off a total of eight torpedoes towards the Arstotzkan ship.

"Team 2, fire!"

As the torpedoes were getting closer to their target, the three Nuclear-powered Guided Missile Submarines fired off a total of three Guided Missiles towards the ship.
