"Of course. Joslyn here teaches it to the more city oriented people or offworld Nua Gealachians who don't know how to swim. Most are under the age of fifteen though, so I hope you don't mind a little embarressment."

Joslyn nodded, and said "Swimming isn't to hard. Especially here. Most of the water is clear, shining water, so you can at least see what you are swimming in."

Hallen breathed out a sigh of relief. It didn't help that on Ekilion the seas were so dark that you couldn't see more than 8 feet under water. Most ships had to use extremely advanced sonar systems to pick things up.

Joslyn spoke up again, taking out a data pad. "And the most dangerous thing in the Basin is the Ashamba fish. It has some sensor that if they touch you, you feel a little shock. Nothing more than a joy buzzer." She turned the data pad, showing the fish.

Hallen looked interested. He had served in Grave and had seen the Hornopolis/Kush commander with his gills. He avoided the question though because he didn't like the look in Dizzy's eyes.

The fish looked farily harmless compared to the beasts of Ekilion. Some reaching over a 1000 meters in length with jaws the size of Ekilion fighter planes.

Joslyn and Keo said in unison, "Genetic trait?" Keo spoke next. "Wat type of trait? Gills, a fin?" She was making a joke, but wazs honestly wondering if that was the case.

"I have something most Kushites do not, I have been gifted with a set of gills," she turns her head and lifts her braids to show her left side gills, "They give me the gift of both air and sea, to the people of my planet I am a Daughter of Osiris, I wear that title with pride, I believe Ekilion soldiers serving on Grave may have seen a few of these Daughters or Sons, but they usually keep the mutation to themselves." she pulls her braided hair back from her ear and it sways to and fro, "Interesting huh?"

Keo laughed and said "Wow, and I was just guessing. That certainly will come in handy. Especially if you wish to take one of the extra classes. There is a naval and sea program for those who prefer the water, and this often deals with disarming bombs, mines and turrets from the water. They usually practice on the old turret defenses that rise from the water on Nua Gealach. You might like that." She turned to the window, which had a clear veiw of the Goliga river that ran through the city. She saw something moving and said "Come see. I think we have a Golo following us."

From the water, a small head with a beak rose up, just barely over its eyes. From then, it turned around a bit, and its long neck rose up more, revealing its small wings. Its yellow eyes twitching around. It looked up, and squawked a odd sound of a mix of a shriek and a quack. Soon, a whole army of the things came up, drifting down the river gently.

Keo said "Marvolous creatures."

Dizzy watches the animal, and the others, "Are they only native to this river and this planet?" Dizzy remembers an animal quite like the Golo, "We have an animal similer to those, a Gilgamesh Basilisk Lizard." Dizzy then looks at Keo, "And yes, I would definitly love taking the extra classes."

"Good. And no, they inhabit most rivers. They are one of teh largest birds of Nua Gealach. Not very good fliers, but great swimmers." She turned her view forward, and pointed. "Here we are, The Assassins Temple." The building was a large, impressive structure, having itself made into a mountain. It was circular, and crescent shaped. It made a moon shape, and on the other side of the mountain, was the other part, a sun shape, with extending parts. Out of other parts of the mountain were various smaller versions, with people on top of them training.

"We will be landing in fifteen." She looked down again, and the river ended, the Golo getting out of the river on the bank, fish in there moths. "Welcome to the temple everyone."

Hallen saw the bird behind them and was relieved. He pulled out his multi-book and pulled up a picture of the death beasts of Ekilion. "This is a drawing of one of the creatures that live in our seas. This thing is over 400 feet long.

Image

"Its chasing two of our sea whales (these seas are big (miniture oceans)). I assume there is nothing that big around here?" Hallen said hoping there wouldn't be.

"Amazingly no. Most of the creatures are placid, and the ones that are dangerous are more deeper in the water, and hunt there. In fact, we haven't seen many carniavores high above in the water. Down a mile or two is where larger more hungry creatures live."

"The temples(?) are beautiful, they compare to our Pyramids and the great Buddha's of Bamiyan." Dizzy stares, entranced at the beauty of the large buildings, "Are they made of metal or stone?"

OOC: Yes, its temples or temple, either.

IC: 'Thank you. Its a combination actually. The supports and insides and other important parts of it are metal, but the majority of it is stone and marble. Part of it is cut out from the mountain." The craft lowered, and the pilot announced "Five minutes."

Keo stood, and walked to the hatch. "Better gather hear. Be aware. Most of the school is in class for fifteen more minutes, but I am aware that some of the students are taking the flight courses now, and will be landing soon. They will probably rush the aircraft and either kill us all or greet us." She said the last bit with a sarcastic grin, and entered the prep sequence for landing on the console.

Dizzy stands up and walks towards Keo and graps a support, "Interesting, because of our planets desert landscape we use the limestone in the surrounding mountains to create our grand structures, much like the Buddhas and the Pyramids." Dizzy looks out at the temple and thinks about the training ahead of her.

"Well, we don't have many tree's on the planet anymore, not that we had many to begin with, but we are doing our best. Most of the tree's are on our sister continent on the other side of the planet. It is a nature reserve, the whole place." The ship lands with a thud, and Keo says "Is everyone ready to go?"

"Yes, I am ready when everyone is." Dizzy looks at herself in the mirror adjusting her hair where it needed to be, and looked up, "Is every part of the temples Cresent or Sun shaped?''

"For what reason are they circular" Hallen said. In the Federation things were percise and easily combinable to maximize living space in smaller areas. This allowed the enviroment to thrive. Even in rual areas most buildings were squares, rectangles or pentagons.

"Oh, its simple really. The moon is a circle when drawn most times, the sun is a circle. So, the rooms are circles. Well, thats the simplified reason. The full reason is that in our culture, the moon and sun are very important. I will explain why later, but the rooms are circular not only in the moon and suns honor, but for equality. For example, in the bunks. Each bunk room is circular as well. The circle is divided into three's, one for each person in a bunk room.Givin that these pertions are a bit tight, they are even and have enough room for ones self and anything he might need." She clicked a button, and the door opened, a path extending down to the floor below. She stepped out, and said "We best be going. Joslyn, please come out last to be sure everyone leaves." Joslyn nodded, and Keo waved them all to come.

Ailo got up, and walked our the vehicle. Simply amazed at the fact he was going to be trained by a another race, he dropped a silver, circular shaped object. It looked very intricate, and a red button that said "Power" was on the side.

Dizy walks from the ship, blinded for a few moments by the bright sun, Dizzy then puts her dark hand onto the Kisian's shoulder,
"Jangan cuba apa-apa.''
Dizzy laughs and shakes the man off,
"Keo, do the Assasin Priests teach their cadets Malay?" she asks curiously while she picks up what looked like a rock, <Hmm... what is this?>

"Of course. Hand to hand is one of the skills that coexist with Knife fighting." She saw a crowd was gathering, mostly of the 15 year old flight school attendants, so Keo took this time to say, "These are the new students. I will be introducing them at lunch today. Best go prepare." The crowd scattered, with only one staying, a smaller Nua Gealachian. She stared coldly at tnew faces, especially the Kush one. She slowly left, stiull watching though, from afar, before disappearing.
