After the troops took cover, they fired back at the Talikan fighters while the jets attack the insurgents and the bombers drop white phosphorus and napalm bombs at them. Meanwhile, the convoy came to a halt as the scouts attacked while the troops began opening fire at them.

50 Talikan fighters died and 100 more wounded but they still kept their ground while suffering heavy losses and then 5 T-72 tanks and 2000 fighters showed up as reinforcements for the Talikan. Meanwhile the scouts were firing rocket launchers at the convoy and surrounding it at all sides.

Meanwhile, The troops were holding their ground as the Talikan surrounded them. An IFV was destroyed by rocket fire. A radio operator called for reinforcements as the scouts approach the convoy.

Talikan fighters began to start supressing soviet troops from entering Sal talud and Talikan soldiers started to fire stinger missiles and Anti Aircraft at the attack helicopters. After the convoy was being surrounded, a Talikan commander started to speak, "this is to the soviet troops at the convoy, surrender now, you are completely surrounded, if you put down your weapons and surrender, we will let you live but if you don't then we kill you all."

The troops began to set up artillery and mortars as the advance towards Sal Talud was slowing while reinforcements were moving towards the city. Meanwhile, The commander of the convoy held a grenade yelled back "Kill us all then because we are holding our ground!" before throwing the grenade at the insurgents. The reinforcements started to head towards the convoy to support the troops surrounded.

The troops began to set up artillery and mortars as the advance towards Sal Talud was slowing while reinforcements were moving towards the city. Meanwhile, The commander of the convoy held a grenade yelled back "Kill us all then because we are holding our ground!" before throwing the grenade at the insurgents. The reinforcements started to head towards the convoy to support the troops surrounded.

Talikan Tanks Started to fire at soviet artillery and mortars as more fighters poured into the city some of whom were child soldiers as young as fifteen and sixteen. Meanwhile at the convoy, Talikan commander and the rest of his men who desperately wanted to end the fight, began throwing grenades, Molotov's and fired nearly every bullet in their weapons.

The tanks fired back at the Talikan as some of the artillery were destroyed and troops killed. The reinforcements had finally arrived in the city and began to support the troops. Meanwhile, most of the troops were killed in the ensuing gunfight and only a few remained. However, 2 attack helicopters arrived and fired at the insurgents while 3 APCs containing troops supported the remaining troops.

The tanks fired back at the Talikan as some of the artillery were destroyed and troops killed. The reinforcements had finally arrived in the city and began to support the troops. Meanwhile, most of the troops were killed in the ensuing gunfight and only a few remained. However, 2 attack helicopters arrived and fired at the insurgents while 3 APCs containing troops supported the remaining troops.

3 Talikan tanks were destroyed and 700 fighters were killed but they were just replaced by more and more Talikan troops and normal civilians who just wanted the invaders to leave and wanted to leave in peace. Meanwhile the Talikan commander and his men knew they were outnumbered and outgunned so they decided to retreat back into the mountains with some of them staying behind to give cover fire.

The Church security council has looked into this situation and declared that further action must be taken to preserve world sanctity and peace. As we prepare our primary fleet for deployment we will only be able to send our closest ship The TCN Beaver an Arleigh Burke class naval destroyer. We will use this vessel to block any ships from entering rebel controlled ports. Once a warning is radioed to the ship if they do not change course a torpedo will be sent to their hull.

Sergeant Jack Carter and his men progressed through the city killing multiple Talikan fighters on the way and tried to meet up with soviet forces and try to push the Talikan out of the city and ensure government victory. Carter leaned his gun over the street, scanning it and then he saw two Talikan militants talking to each other in the middle of the road, He aimed down the Red dot sight on his AK-12 and aimed for the head on one of the Talikan fighters, he squeezed the trigger and fired his gun. The bullet went through the militant's head and killed imminently and then when he saw the other fighter turn towards him, he fired three shots into the fighter's chest and when the fighter fell to the ground, he and his men ran across the street and met up with soviet troops.

As the sun sets on the horizon on a small beach in the Persian Gulf a Helicopter lands blowing sand and water away from its landing zone as the other 29 CH-47D Chinook land troops on the beach and set up camp in a dessert nearby by the time the night is over a large barricade over any entrances to the beach camp. A full list of the troops that have landed has been provided for our soviet allies convenience.

The Talikan were holding on in Sal Talud, although they were losing dozen of fighters, more and more were coming in and replacing them and the reason why the Talikan had so many men was because, they had good propaganda speeches, appealing to the fundamentalist religious population was because they saw them as defending their religion and values, they even called them selves the defenders of the faith and when they captured new areas they would force all able bodied men to fight.

Meanwhile in the far eastern city of Jeda, the new united Islamic Front were surrounding it and with the newly supplied Sulenkian tanks and weapons, they would take it with ease.

Our interest in your country is not one of natural resources, but in maintaining a stable government and suppressing the spread of Militant Fundamentalist Islam. We humbly thank you for your offer, but must decline it. Your resources are better spent fighting your wars.

The Wariztan Expeditionary force, led by Major General Czeslaw Androwski, departs from Wiepolskie escorted by the Wariztan Expeditionary Air Wing. Within hours, they landed in the Capital City's military airport, and begin to unload supplies and equipment as fast as possible. Talks start between Wariztani and Wiepolskian officers, with the Wiepolski soldiers seeking a possible expeditionary base within the city. General Androwski promises the Wariztani officers that he will have his soldiers on the front "very soon" but adds that "even a soldier is still a human. My men need places to sleep, eat, and store their equipment. We thank the Wariztan government for its hospitality."

Islamic Front tanks began firing on the city from all sides, killing fifty soldiers, twenty policemen and seventy civilians including the mayor and members of the communist party. As the tanks rolled into the city, they faced little to no resistance and the remaining Military and police forces surrendered and were all put in the city prison.

The Islamic front commander gave a public statement after they took the city, "this is a great victory for the mujahedeen and for the wariztani people against the communist dictatorship but we will treat our prisoners with dignity and respect". He then walks off the podium and into a car, heading towards the mayoral building,

After the insurgents retreated, The convoy went on without further incident and reached its destination, A pro-government military base. Meanwhile, 2 detachments were sent to the city of Jeda to release the prisoners and to take the city back to the government. In the temporary base, A plan was formulated to permanently damage the morale of the Talikan and its allies. The plan was assassinate their speakers and propagandists to prevent them from luring more people into their group and demoralize their fighters. The task was to be done by commandos.

The scout leader and ten of his men walked into the soviet base and gave their weapons to the soviet soldiers guarding the base, after he gave his AK-47 and with the rest of his men waiting outside, the scout leader walked into the commander's room, he sat down and started to talk to the soviet commander.
