Yeah, I am interested in that. Note that the Yohannesian market is a big market, so there's no possible way any one nation (not even someone who roleplay as Lyras like nation) can flood it. There will be lots of Nihonese cheap goods, yeah, but it won't be like in real life, where everything's 'Made in Japan' (back in the 1920s, at least concentrated on the Dutch East Indies, 'Made in Japan' was pretty much the same as 'Made in China' today)

Will your nation benefit a lot? Yeah, definitely. I am thinking of writing something - along that market line - that I reckon you will like (hehe). This is why economic RP can actually make your nation 'stronger' (if that's the simplest way of saying it) a lot easier than going to military RP, and you will see what I mean. Sorry I couldn't intervene on your event re: Carosi. I don't think it would be in character wise making sense for me to randomly participate there, after this (and in light of what you've seen regarding my really bad inactivity), out of character wise

A Final Farewell

Yohannes, what can I say about Yohannes.


Yohannes is one of the 6 nations in the entire 4+ million that NationStates holds, that I can actually remember his name. For those of you that don't know me, that is quite special, I have made some pretty weird nicknames for other countries in RP's.
I have only ever RPd once with him, and that was for a mere short while quite a time ago, back in the day of ?? I cant even find it anymore. Whenever he posted a new event, I was fixated whenever I read it. His posts, simply, blew me away, over the hill and far out into the plains. (Very far away)
I have only ever had one TG conversation with Yohannes, it was a two telegraph conversation that was 1 year, 166 days ago, according to my archived inbox. It was short, and abrupt. But I felt absolutely honoured that such a nation had the time to message little old Vectors.

Yohannes has been my inspiration for years. While I have never had the courage, and partially because lack of reason, to have a full conversation with Yohannes, this nation has been influenced by his image. I have always dreamed of the Republic of Vectors one day reaching Yohannes fame; it is often in the back of my mind when I am on NS, the goal of where I want to end up. Just like Yohannes. Through threads over the course of time I have witnessed the supreme craftsmanship of his mind, his clever posts that strike the heart with a realistic side that I often exclude. I must say, it was marvellous. It makes me sad IRL to read such a great story teller withdrawing. I have developed an almost-emotional attachment to your posts. That actually sounds kind of weird, but Im not crazy!

Yohannes, congratulations on everything you have done up to this point, and congratulations in finally getting a real, non NationStates life. LOL!

On a last note;
I never joined the WA, because I often had quite different views on what resolutions went through the red tape. However upon recent reflection of Yohannes achievements and all that he has become, I have realized that even under the WA banner, I am able to pursue what I want to, and will still be able to craft a nation to my own liking.

I am pleased to announce, that in tribute to the best nation on NS, Yohannes, I will finally join the World Assembly.

Not a small feat, convincing someone as stubborn as I.
