We completely agree. Civil Leader Sean McLoughlin shall be in Berlin in a few days from now. And a report from Poland and Northern Germany: The people have adjusted to new rule fine, yet some are still uncertain. The soldiers have yet to garner any trouble from the people, but are on alert all the time. They remain lax around the people though. And as the UOTN has control of the Baltics, all trade is UOTN, which has boosted the economy some.

As Erik Maurer heads for Berlin, he sends to his workers to set up a grand meeting hall. He arrives in Berlin a few hours before Mr. McLoughlin does, so he has time to prepare for the meeting. As the Jet lands, he walks across the tarmac to meet with the Diplomat.
"Welcome to Berlin Mr. Mcloughlin" Erik says warmly, "I am glad to finally meet someone from your Republic"

A small portion of the Austria Hungary Alliance Army, 1,000 men, had taken a few hover-transports and were heading east from Romania and had reached the Ukrainian city of Odessa when they saw a strange flag flying in the city. Armed troops were spotted patrolling the area. Lt. Arnold Muller signalled for his men to stop in a field near the city as he walked down the hill with a entourage of ten. When he reached the village, he went to the market and found a butcher. "Greetings from the Austria Hungary Alliance. I am Lt. Arnold Muller. May I ask who governs this city?"

Muller thanks the butcher and walks up the will with his men. When they reached the sky district, they saw how the new leaders have "settled in" to their new territory. With extravagant housing everywhere, it took Arnold a few minutes to re-focus his party of 10, who were gaping at the mansions. After another short walk, they reached the gate of Mesher Mansion. A uniformed man was at the gate. "Greetings Soilder" Arnold said warmly "I am Lt. Arnold Muller, Infantry Division of the AHA Army. We were scoping out new territory when we came across your city. We would like to meet with your general"

"It is wonderful to meet you, Mr. Maurer."
Sean McLoughlin has a thick Irish accent.

"Please get yourself situated in your hotel room. We will start meetings tomorrow, our chauffeur will drive you anywhere you need to go" He says as he walks him to his car. Before they get there, a man in a green jacket comes out of the crowd holding a revolver "DEATH TO THE TYRANT!" he shouts and aims at Erik's chest. Right before the shot, a policeman shoots the man in the back, causing the bullet to hit Erik in the jaw. Chaos breaks loose as bodyguards surround Mr. Mclaughlin, paramedics surround Erik Maurer, and the police desperately try to push back the crowd, that is trying to surround everyone. Before anybody can do anything else, a bomb goes off a couple hundred feet away. Sean and Erik are both put in an ambulance pod and are driven to the nearest hospital, leaving the chaotic scene that just unfolded on the tarmac.

3 hours later Erik wakes up in the hospital, and the first thing he feels is the multiple loose-teeth. He then drifts back into unconsciousness. At the same time Sean arrives at the hotel. The chauffeur helped him carry his bags to his room. "If zu need anyting, I vill be in woom 512" The chauffeur says in a heavy German accent as he leaves the room to leave him to his thoughts.

The Nguyen Imperial has just fired into the Philippines. The surprise attack was planned and soon the cities of the Philippines will be bombarded by squads of jets. It will not be long before the Philippines becomes under the control of the Nguyen Imperial. Troop deployment will begin soon. Several navy ships are being damaged by missile fire.

Sean gets to work on some paperwork. Bills to be proposed, speeches to write. You know the drill. He decides to turn on his laptop and check news coverage of the event.
He uses the most trusted online news source in the UOTN, http://www.unionnews.utn.
"Today in Berlin Erik Maurer and Sean McLoughlin were subject to a terrorist attack. From what we know, Erik has been hospitalized, and Mr. McLoughlin
has been fine. More in the video below."
He watches the video, but inevitably falls asleep due to the stress.

Erik wakes up in a hospital room at 8am, and his first instinct is to get out of bed to make it to his meeting with Mr. Mclaughlin. As he rises, the pain in his jaw quickly reminds him why that meeting was cancelled. He lays back down on the bed and opens his government laptop that had been put by his bedside. He skips past all the emails of condolence and goes right to writing an email to the other possible victim of the terrorist attack yesterday.

Mr. Sean Mclaughlin,
I hope you are recovering well from the unfortunate event that took place yesterday, and I take full responsibility for any damage that may have come to you or your entourage. I am currently unfit for a meeting, so I will send my Deputy Diplomacy Director, Marion Helinski, to the meeting, whenever it is you are able to meet. I deeply regret not being able to attend this in person

He then logged onto the Alliance Intelligence Agency government page and found an interesting article about a bombing taking place in the philippines. It appeared like there was a rather violent nation forming in Southeast Asia, they would have to keep an eye on that. He put his computer aside and called Ms. Helinski, telling her to get ready for the meetings, as he would be unable to attend, and promptly fell asleep.

He hears "Diddly Dootadoo!" which is his default notification noise for his laptop.
He doesn't customize it much.
He opens the email, and reads it.
He quickly gets ready, loads a snub nose S&W 44, and calls up the chauffeur.
"It is time, sir."

A fleet of Bombay Ships were traveling closer and closer to the Pakistani coast, the fleet was made up of one aircraft carrier, several destroyers and frigates. Thousands of troops were inside the ships. One local militia caught the ships and sent a radio message

They appear to have a fairly aggressive military and have recently bombed the Philippines. If you haven't already, you should probably contact them to make sure there is no more... unnecessary bloodshed.

When the Chauffeur arrives at the disclosed conference room,(for fear of a terrorist attack it was kept private) Marion Helinski was already waiting there, her punctuality needed in her position made it easy for her to get across Berlin in 25 minutes since Mr. Maurer had interrupted her breakfast.
"Welcome to Berlin Mr. Mclaughlin" Marion said warmly, "My name is Marion Helinski, Deputy Diplomacy Director of the AHA, please come inside" She gestured to a nearby doorway

Marco Monce was sitting with an amused grin on a chair coated with silk. He had never been a very religious man, but now he was the Republic chairman of a nation united by faith. When the grand empire had fallen, their had been chaos. People clung to any thing that United them. One of these things was their faith. Shortly before the fall, someone had started a worship of the sun and nature it caught on quite well. Scattered minor nations with the same faith had quickly combined to format the Aztecan holy republic.
Now since he was chairman he was obliged to make speeches at all of the various festivals. Today was the day of the Harvest festival and and the observation that the sun would be coming out for shorter and shorter amounts of time. Right now he was in a nice tent waiting for the festival to start. His ip (intelligent phone) buzzed. He sighted and checked it.
Some new violent nation waso forming in the Pacific. That could problemic, but for now it seemed their focus was eastward. Or westward? Meh. Some nation was throwing a international convention on economics. He would have loved to go but he had a meeting with a gun manufacturer on that day.
