F-18 needs far longer runaway than your average LHD may give it. I would recommend going for STOVL / VTOL aircraft such as Harrier or F-35.

If I have to give my feedback, that is waaaaay too many frigates for such operation. US carrier group is usually composed of: 1 Nimitz CVN + air wing, 2 Ticonderoga CGNs, three Burke DDGs, 2x Los Angeles SSNs and 1x AOR. French CSG is made of 1x Charles DuGaulle CV, 1x Rubis SSN, 2x ASW DDGs, one or two AAW DDGs (usually Horizon), 1x La Fayette FFG for forward patrol and 1 AOR. Chinese Liaoning was observed to sail in escort of 4x Type 052C/D DDG, 2x Type 054A FFG, 1 or two Shang SSN and AOR.

7 Frigates could actually create a logistics issue, to be frank...

If we even take sum of Armenian forces (population around 1 million) Armenia has total of around 60 000 military (including forces in Nagorno - Karabakh) with 210 000 former service personnel constituting reserve.

Now I do not know how big is Vulkata or it's enemy, but if they are anywhere above 5 million then fielding 100 000 soldiers is not an issue any more.
