It was a warm summer day when A Querjian oiltanker blew up in Topkekkian waters .
The leadership of Querj looking for a scapegoat accused Topkekkia of blowing it up , the Topkkekian leadership naturally denied such accusations , The Querjian refused to entertain that Topkekkia was anything other than guilty and declared war on Topkekkia .

Topkekkia
Though everyone across the nation of Topkekkia knew that war had been declared, few knew what to do about it. The same could not be said in the military. Across the nation, forces had already been mobilized. The garrison of Sevick had been increased to 20 000, and public services were handing out information about bombing raids. The fleet had already left its docks, having many destroyers and corvettes sailing patrols around the islands. A number of CAGs were on permanent standby above the island, waiting for a potential air assault. AA guns were being positioned on coastlines as the nation prepared itself for war.

Querj

The sinking of Querj's oil tanker immediately called for action, and action occurred. Conscription and rationing were put in effect. Weapons and machines of war were made in factories instead of cars. The navy took off with boatloads of soldiers, likely to never be seen again. War was on the horizon.

OOC: When sending off a fleet, it's a general rule here that one should list what forces that they're bringing to battle. In my case, since I was listing what my nation was doing to prepare, it wasn't needed, but since you'll only (immediately) be able to use the forces you're sending, it's best to list them.

OOC: I haven't stated my numbers as I don't have a factbook on my military. Or anything in general.

OOC: Then I'd suggest that you work on one that's realistic for your population. The golden rule is a maximum of 1% of your population being active, and a maximum of 5% being in reserve. For warships and planes, if you don't want to make your own, most people just use Russian and/or American equipment. When designing one's equipment numbers, keep in mind the GDP of your nation as well.

OOC: Let's say that this nation in the official RP will be less modern... a LOT less modern.

OOC: Still gotta make yourself some stats. Although I am glad to see someone that's willing to play as a third world nation.
