Fleet Admiral Wesson spotted the fleet in the distance and surprised by the lack of huge warships he was told he would be meeting, he ordered his fleet to not attack but instead ordering a message over the loudspeakers.

The NMK vessels saw Skellig-identified ships rapidly approaching their position. They were surprised, as they had explicitly excluded Skellig from their actions. The ship's commander thought what to say before broadcasting a short message over the radio: "Why do you wish to attack and presumably neutralize/destroy us? We have explicitly tried to avoid infringing on your sovereignty and freedom to do as you please. We seek only to prevent other slaver states from perpetuating the horrendous act. Perhaps you want to get into communication with my superiors?"

Meanwhile, back in Toad Town the Minister of Defence was consulting with his advisors - they wondered if they would indeed neutralize the group and if it would be acceptable for the ship to surrender if need be without losing large amounts of credibility / face. They had yet to make a decision but surely would reach a consensus shortly.

The Cruxan troops marched deeper into Skellig, capturing villages where they could. Their commanding officers stopped them from releasing the slaves until the order was received.

In the heat of the battle, four destroyers broke off from the main group to escort five transports towards shore, where the flames had burned long enough that the island was now accessible. Above, the Topkekkian fighters engaged the Skellig fighter group while another squadron took off from the carrier to join the fight. A submarine, carrying a team of Crimson Guard shock troops, sets off towards the Skellig fleet in advance of the destroyers.

The land units would swiftly set up quick fortifications involving sandbags 20 miles from the coastline.

The Air Units would protect the AC-130 Lockheed Bombers whilst they fire their Howitzer's,missles and machine guns at the Destroyers and other naval flotilla, attempting to gain air supremacy in order to carry out this task.

The Commander of the group was moderately surprised to hear that they were trespassing. In order to minimise potential risks / conflict, the intent of the operation was to park the tiny fleet just on the boundary of international waters. As such, the Commander decided to contact his superiors to see if they would recommend fixing the mistake or giving in to their requests. Due to the original intent of the operation as well as the high undesirability of surrendering a single person to a slaver nation, the first option was chosen. In order to make it as non-threatening as possible, all the present guns were first lowered before the small group slowly retreated towards what was actually international waters. Another message was broadcast similar to the first, it said "On the behalf of the NMK Government I wish to inform you that it was never our intention to park our ships in your waters. They are primarily there to monitor the situation and prevent you from exporting / selling the slaves to another country. Thank you."

The situation in the lead An-124 was tense. 80 aircraft were detected heading towards them from the Skellig coast. With only 60 aircraft capable of dogfighting, their mission would get a whole lot harder. "What should we do, comrade?" Asked a junior officer who was standing with the general in the cockpit of the An-124. "Well, how far are we off the coast? If we had already reached, we could just ditch the planes." replied the general. "Well sir, we are 55km off the coast. I'd say we would be able to reach 30km before contact with the unidentified aircraft.

The general nodded. "Then we must fight back. I want a V-formation surrounding the 6 An-124s, now!" He said sternly. The others in the cockpit nodded and another got onto a radio and began speaking commands in Arabic to the other aircraft. In an instant, the Su-7Bs, Il-28s and Mig-21bis entered a V-formation surrounding the 6 transport craft. The general turned back another time. "Contact Bahtari High Command. We need the second wave, quickly." The junior officer nodded and swiftly got to work.

It has come to our attention that the international community does not appreciate your stance on slavery. It looks like to me like they're going to free your slaves one way or another, either by force - or pressuring you to do it yourself.

I can offer you a third option. In our nation slaves number very few (under 100 in fact), and there are laws that prevent breeding or otherwise creation of new ones, and we are unable to procure any from our direct neighbors without violating our foreign relation regulations regarding initiating conflict on foreign soil. It would appear you are uniquely capable in helping us with this matter.

The air would remain in gridlock with no real side taking full aerial superiority, mostly thanks to the Marskman Anti-Aircraft Tanks which had been firing from the coastline before heading back to the Base for refueling and ammunition. However it had not been without conceding considerable casualties, for the airforce had lost several airplanes.

By now the troops that had been sent to set up fortification 20 miles from the coastline had done so , and had a makeship military base set up with tens, sorrounded by sandbags. Casualties have been low due to the ground troops not seeing combat as of yet.

By now General Von Steuben had assumed full control of the Naval Fleet as he believed the previous commanders were incompetent, And ordered the Entirety of the remaining Skellig Navy to head to the battlezone in a great Gamble out of desperation to hold back the Topkekkian's from making land for a few more hours.

They would be unaware of the Shocktroopers in the Submarine but would be approaching the battlezone in the sea at 38 Knots.

As the Second Wave Approached the Skellig Airforce would quickly be annihilated, the skies would be cleared and Bahtar would have complete aerial supremacy.


Land:
General Von Steuben sighed, Holding his tobacco pipe sternly, puffing twice. He moved around units on a large map of skellig meticulously plotting out how he would defend his Supreme Leader and his nation.

His hatred for the Bahtar 'arabs' filled him with rage, he was about to make the biggest gamble of his life, without air superiority sending in infantry would be a march to the death. So he decided to send only armored vehicles to try and conquer the coast. In particular all of his available armored tanks and anti-aircraft tanks which weren't currently deployed. He knew loosing this battle meant losing the entire war and not just the front.

He also knew he needed to completely decimate the Bahtar air fleet, So he made the tough decision reluctantly to send all of his remaining Marksman Anti-Aircraft tanks. Losing all these would mean Skellig's cities would be defenseless against airstrikes.

300 volunteer scouts would lie in camoflauge suits near the coast with no weapons but binoculars and a radio, a radio to alert the Tanks of when to storm.

Air:

Hours of battle had taken their toll on the Skellig Aircrafts and within 6 hours of Topkekkian re-inforcements, they were all but destroyed.
In the closing minutes of the Topkekkian massacaring of the Skellig Aircrafts, a pilot of an injured Ac-130 would meet a fire in the cockpit.

In panic , he struggled to gain control of his plane. And when it became apparent he was going down. He ploughed the Ac-130 in to the already damaged Destroyer.

Topkekkia now has aerial supremacy over the skies and their aircrafts will only again be challenged once they meet the Marksman Anti-Aircraft tanks that are waiting further in the coast.


Sea:

The boarders would meet minor resistance from 15 gunmen on the destroyer, and 5 on the Frigates. With the main goal of slowing the Shocktroopers down whilst their superiors worked out plans.


Whilst the main crewmembers realized they were being boarded, they realized they stood no chance, and decided to demobilize the ship to stop it from being used against their allies.

The members of the ships that were being boarded tugged large amounts of explosives and ammunition in to the generator room before blowing them, As these ships run on Gas Power not much damage would be done to the entire ship but demobilizing it and starting a huge fire , thick black smoke spread through the corridors of the great ship and the fire spread.


The rest of the Naval ships would be destroyed promptly afterwards and a great black smoke would fill the air.

The Fourteenth Fleet of the Spektronian National Navy, comprised of four Nimitz Class Aircraft Carriers, one Enterprise Class Aircraft Carrier (The flagship of the fleet), twelve Braunschweig Class Corvette Warships, seven SSGN Class Submarines and Nine Sachsen Class Frigates, along with other smaller naval veichles, all under my command. 30,000 Spektronian National Soldiers, 20,000 Sturmkorps Troopers, along with additional ground and air vehicles will be unloaded at the Topkekkian controlled airport, when captured. I shall command the Spektronian forces from the the S.S. (Spektronian Ship) Süd-König, which will be docked nearby when the city is taken. The Fourtheenth Fleet should be arriving within two days. The fighters had taken casualties, but the AC-130s were sufficiently distracted by the fighters to give the ships below a break, which had been successful, and as a result, rewarded. AA guns and rockets screamed upwards from the destroyers towards the enemy jets while the carrier launched another squadron to replenish the lost fighters above in an attempt to gain air superiority in advance of landfall.

On the Waves
The destroyers pressed onward, meeting resistance when the remaining Skellig navy arrived. Fortunately, the submarine was ready to fight. The shock troops waited in the airlock as the submarine floated beneath a hostile frigate, each one holding a buoy filled with helium for faster travel to the surface. The sub simultaneously released the team of shock troops while firing supercavitating torpedoes towards a destroyer, its sonar going active as the troops boarded the hostile vessel above.

Air:

Hours of battle had taken their toll on the Skellig Aircrafts and within 6 hours of Topkekkian re-inforcements, they were all but destroyed.
In the closing minutes of the Topkekkian massacaring of the Skellig Aircrafts, a pilot of an injured Ac-130 would meet a fire in the cockpit.

In panic , he struggled to gain control of his plane. And when it became apparent he was going down. He ploughed the Ac-130 in to the already damaged Destroyer.

Topkekkia now has aerial supremacy over the skies and their aircrafts will only again be challenged once they meet the Marksman Anti-Aircraft tanks that are waiting further in the coast.


Sea:

The boarders would meet minor resistance from 15 gunmen on the destroyer, and 5 on the Frigates. With the main goal of slowing the Shocktroopers down whilst their superiors worked out plans.


Whilst the main crewmembers realized they were being boarded, they realized they stood no chance, and decided to demobilize the ship to stop it from being used against their allies.

The members of the ships that were being boarded tugged large amounts of explosives and ammunition in to the generator room before blowing them, As these ships run on Gas Power not much damage would be done to the entire ship but demobilizing it and starting a huge fire , thick black smoke spread through the corridors of the great ship and the fire spread.


The rest of the Naval ships would be destroyed promptly afterwards and a great black smoke would fill the air.

West Coast of Skellig
In the Air
The wing of fighters moved forwards as the invasion force pressed further towards shore. Expecting little AA resistance, a squadron was sent forward. Unfortunately, it was met with significant AA fire, and seven planes were destroyed. The fighters stayed back, waiting for a bomber squadron to arrive from the carrier and use its ranged smart bombs to solve the issue.

On the Waves
The shock troops fired the frigate's remaining missiles at the shore before diving overboard towards the waiting submarine, just below the waves. The destroyers moved towards shore, unharried by further ships as the troops and tanks were readied for combat. The nine remaining destroyers began to bombard the land with a variety of explosives, carrying everything from high explosives to white phosphorous to sarin nerve agent.

55km off the Skellig Coast
International Waters

"Comrade, we are detecting 80 signatures coming from Skellig!"

The situation in the lead An-124 was tense. 80 aircraft were detected heading towards them from the Skellig coast. With only 60 aircraft capable of dogfighti off the coast. I'd say we would be able to reach 30km before contact with the unidentified aircraft.

Air:
The Skellig Aircrafts would manage to destroy 47 of the 60 dogfighters but would lose 44 in the process.

As the Second Wave Approached the Skellig Airforce would quickly be annihilated, the skies would be cleared and Bahtar would have complete aerial supremacy.


Land:
General Von Steuben sighed, Holding his tobacco pipe sternly, puffing twice. He moved around units on a large map of skellig meticulously plotting out how he would defend his Supreme Leader and his nation.

His hatred for the Bahtar 'arabs' filled him with rage, he was about to make the biggest gamble of his life, without air superiority sending in infantry would be a march to the death. So he decided to send only armored vehicles to try and conquer the coast. In particular all of his available armored tanks and anti-aircraft tanks which weren't currently deployed. He knew loosing this battle meant losing the entire war and not just the front.

He also knew he needed to completely decimate the Bahtar air fleet, So he made the tough decision reluctantly to send all of his remaining Marksman Anti-Aircraft tanks. Losing all these would mean Skellig's cities would be defenseless against airstrikes.

300 volunteer scouts would lie in camoflauge suits near the coast with no weapons but binoculars and a radio, a radio to alert the Tanks of when to storm.

Near the Skellig Coast
Skellig Waters

The aircraft were nearing the coast when the same junior officer approached the general. "Sir, permission to speak?" asked the junior officer. The general nodded. "Well sir, I was thinking. We should make all the aircraft ascend to above 10,000 meters, so no anti-aircraft weaponry can take shots at our aircraft sir." said the officer. The general nodded. "Hmm, a good idea. If the Skellig Air Force are still recovering from their destruction, we should be able to get through scot-free if we get above 10,000 meters... Yes. I approve." replied the general.

Within minutes, the officers began barking orders and acended well above 10,000 meters, making them impossible to be hit from anti-aircraft weaponry on the ground. Their objective had changed. It was to paradrop in the key Skellig cities and destroy the Skellig lines from inside. Meanwhile in Bahtar, the 3rd and 4th last waves were getting ready to take off...

The 3rd and 4th wave was completely different from the others. The aircraft were the same except for the transports. With all of Bahtar's An-124s out in Skellig, the choice was made for the 3rd and 4th waves to use An-22s. Though inside the AN-22s were not simply infantrymen, but armored vehicles. In all, there were 48 BMD-1s in the 3rd and 4th waves and they too would follow the 1st and 2nd waves into the cities. They would be used to combat armor and more heavily armored troops in the urban combat. Supreme Leader Khalid bin Bargash was watching from the control tower this time. The An-22s were starting to take off from the different runways.

After taxing to the runways, the large 'air fleet' took off from their respective runways and started soaring towards the direction of the 1st and 2nd waves that were heading above Skellig. Following orders, the aircraft started to ascend to above 10,000 meters once they had took off and were slowly leaving Bahtari territory and into the seas, where they would head towards the key Skellig cities as told to them by the 1st and 2nd waves...

PALACE, 07:00 AM

"The ultimatum is over, sir. We have officially had no response from the Skellig Empire." Said the Magistros.
"It's time to prepare for some aerial warfare. Launch 40 La-30 fighters from 2 aircraft carriers. Engage the Skelligs in support with the Topkekkian and Bahtar forces. We will be their reinforcements." Said the Field Air Protostrator (Field Air Marshal) of the Byzantine Air Force.
"Roger that, sir. We will be preparing airfields right away." Said the Junior Radar Operator.

AIRCRAFT CARRIER "SUBSONIC", 08:00 AM

"Delta 1, 2, 3 and 4, clear for takeoff." Said Marcus Knossos, who is a senior radar operator in the Byzantine Air Force.
"Roger that, it's time to lift off the ground. Once everyone has been taken off, we will fly in low-altitude and reinforce the Topkekkian/Bahtar forces. We may have our objectives changed in the meantime." Said Ioannes Oauros, who is an air commodore in the Byzantine Air Force.
"Yes, sir, it takes approximately 20 minutes for 40 fighters to take off." Said the Air Private Konstantinos.

SKY, 08:40 AM

"We will engage them in a V-formation, right?" Said an English pilot, Sam Does.
"Yes we will. As of right now, our priority is to supercruise on Mach 2. We have fuel for 24 hours, so a risk of fire is imminent." Said Marcus weirdly. "It will take a long way to get there. Load your missiles just in case. Once we do that, it's time to support the allies. We won't miss them (hopefully)."

The newly setup Fortified Camp 20 miles inland was alerted by radio to ready themselves and that they would soon meet the Devil,
They begin starting Howitzer Fire sporadically in the hope they might hit a few targets although more so to unsettle their enemies.

General Von Steuben scoffed at the idea of surrender and continued working on operation 'Final Assault' in his Skellrovia bunker, Although he knew he would soon have to evacuate to the 'Hawk Alcove' bunker where Lord Skellig was residing in a top secret location.

Skellig's naval fleet would now all lie in the bottom of the sea. Lord Skellig expressed his anger in a conference at the top secret Hawk Alcove bunker.

Lord Skellig XIII: Our naval fleet is holding up I assume?
CNO Hoch: My leader... Our naval fleet is no more. General Von Steuben assumed control and we have recently lost contact with all ships. They are destroyed.
Chewing tobacco, Lord Skellig's face reddened.
Lord Skellig XIII: Hoch..... You have failed Skellig. Without naval flotilla we can no longer protect out territory to it's full extent.
CNO Hoch: We simply could not ... If anyone told me Topkekkia had as many Destroyers as they do. I would of told them they were seeing ghosts, and had them admitted to an asylum. But no, the tyranny have been preparing to warmonger for a century.
Lord Skellig XIII: It matters little anyway, defensive battles are rarely won in the water. All that matters is that 'Final Assault' is coming along, the assault that will make sure that this war is not worthwhile for our assailants
