OOC: Well, how about we put it this way. If you disarm your nukes and/or stop launching them aimlessly for every RP you are involved in (for all i am aware of), then the Community might stop using their "ignore cannons" on you and you don't have to use yours either. Maybe do an RP where a nuke does get blown up, but not like 50 of them all at the same time. If that happens, then the ignore cannons come... Anyways, just my suggestion. Besides, if you keep using nukes to try to end/participate in an RP, then people will either still continue with the RP and totally ignore you, or create a new thread. Basically, nukes and RP don't really mix that well unless if there is drama and definite reason in the usage (ex. annihilation of your own nation, extremists, etc.). Reasons such as "i want to destroy your nation just cause like i felt like it" isn't really a good reason to start an all-out nuclear war. Those kinds of reasons would just make the RPing community laugh and not want to RP with you.

In summary: Using Nukes to end/participate in an RP is beyond a doubt, idiotic, to a point.

OOC: You're not understanding what i'm trying to say. The fact is, you shouldn't use nukes at all! If you keep using nukes, even to "heat stuff up", no one will take you seriously. RPing is about telling a story. Its not about sending nukes to try to end/start a war. You are telling a story. It's not a story about you pushing the big red button to launch the nukes and destroy a nation. No. Its about telling the epicness of YOUR nation. These stories are not about how your nation sends nukes in its defense/offense, but about how it participates in the NS World and Community. Its about telling the stories of individuals and nations that don't exist in the real world, but exist in this world. NationStates is a place for people to have fun and enjoy themselves, but at the same time, be serious about what they are doing for the sake of other players. It is NOT a place to abrubtly end/start wars out of nowhere. However, it is also a game, and should be kept as a game.

We ask liberation army to keep there weapons down and surrender to the authority now as fighting this war has no meaning any more. Great Nepal celebrates its victory.

I would agree that if there was any kind of map, scaled to show what was where,
and we all could point and say "Oh ! That's where stuff is, and this is where we're attacking...,"
Then it would be just a matter of appointing how many bombs to drop on how many targets...
But we don't have a map we've got like a dozen people who are each saying " And we bomb the insurgents"
Followed by RP'ing more about their news stations or stuff at home.
This could really use some kind of structure, IE;
A time line,
( Scaled map, describing Geography as well as political boundaries and military forces )
And who's acting where at what time.
Right now I don't know if this war has taken two days from the first post to now or six months.
