ORBAT:

Most Collective vessels are cylinders, the exception being the command ships, the reason why they are cubes is so that they can dock with each other and form a larger cube, to co-ordinate better.

Unlike organic vessels, most Collective ships are not hollow, this advantage means starships can be completely solid.
Since their is no need to have crews, as entire battleship is controlled by a single AI or an upgraded Brain.
This also means that most ships are almost immune to hostile borders.
Collective ships that are hollow, include cargo, transport and carrier ships.

So an organic vessel of similar size has much less volume available for weapon systems compared to a Collective vessel, as the organic vessel needs to be able to store food, and the organic vessel also has to have accommodation for its crew, like sleeping quarters and a mess hall

Meaning that an organic vessel of a similar size and similar tech level to a Collective one, is inferior in every respect.
So a smaller Collective ship can take on a much larger organic vessel and still win.

Official statement of the Imperial Family of Taigawa, at the request of Neyla Haijira Patalia, Empress, In Year 196 of the Haijira Period

I have been monitoring the feedback coming from my fleets stationed in the current theater of war, and the reports concern me greatly. One would think other Tier 2 civilizations would be above committing crimes against The Mantle, but my daughter Shi'era reports a civilization destroying biospheres and native populations within a system my nation has vested interests in. Shi'era has reported her use of The Composer within the system, and so I formally authorise use of all weapons and armnaments attached to my fleets of war within the combat zone. I hereby formally declare the Imperial Ecumene to be in a state of war against any who threaten the security of our holdings, and against the Rimworld Government, who has allowed crimes against The Mantle to be carried out.

I hereby dedicate these additional forces to the battle, to be attached with all haste to the fleet of one Feng, Lord of Admirals:

Why people brings thousands of ships and milions of soldiers into a conflict that don't concerns them? I can understand obviously Landfish and the ones fighting in Nova Rimworld, coz there's actually a hellish war over there. But why build so many thousand clone troops when you are not at war?

I believe it's godmod build so many clones, mate. I have a droid factory, and I don't build as fast as you are doing it (well, i never said how many I'm building, but I guess enough to replenish some of my droid losses?)

Also Halvatia, what are your ships weaponary?

All Halvatian weaponry uses A.E. A.E rounds can be modified to become any kind of state of matter or energy, from simple laser cannons to multidimensional sub-atomic particle cannons. A.E can also change its frequency or type after being fired in order to counter any kind of armor or shielding.

However, most of the time A.E is used simply, plasma, laser, particle, ect. Because I refuse to be a dick and use A.E to its full extent. And if that is still too much, well, I am at the tippy top of the tech scale and kind of can't downgrade. Which is why I am choosing to keep things around the same level unless things really go bad. Halvatia sees these conflicts as fun to be honest.
