I have my own idea of what would happen in this scenario, but what do you think would happen if say the Flood from Halo (or something similar like the zergs or tyranids) met and attacked the Borg from Star Trek?

Can't say I know much about the Borg, but eh, if it would be the Tyranids the Borg would get royally fucked, guaranteed. Then again, they would be by almost anything from 40K, because in 40K everything is overpowered and thus balanced.

Flood or Zerg though, I think they could do something about the Flood, atleast if my assumption that the Flood can't infest the Borg cos they're mechanical is true.
The Zerg, depends on what Zerg, the one from the first Starcraft with the Overmind ruling them would probably be beaten, the new Swarm with Kerrigan would prove a lot more difficult to overcome though.
The very latest Zerg with the very latest Kerrigan would absolutely demolish the Borg though, because, spoiler alert, there Kerrigan becomes a literal God.

The problem is, the borg have some king of energy shield? that allows them to be invulnerable against any damage that they may face after learning from it. However, the Zerg can upgrade themselves in order to suit the new battle requirements, but it can take long time to produce again the new upgraded warriors.
I think the borg would win since they would become sooner or later invulnerable to all kind of damage. Borgs are simply too much OP

The Borg are part machine, so I think at least the non machine part of them can be infected, and the Borg can assimilate any organic life, so....

What I think what would happen if the flood and the Borg met, is that they both decide that they both have the same aim, to assimilate all life (especially considering the "Logic Plague" that the Flood used to make Forerunner AIs turn on their creators and fight for the flood).

So, they assimilate each other to produce horrible psychic eldritch zombie cyborgs hell bent on assimilating everything.
(The flood in their final form are gods as well, but that is after they have consumed entire solar systems.

Do not worry. Waiting is not a problem, but knowing from time to time that people still there, helps to know the didn't dissapeared.
