To summarize the existence of this thread, and I couldn't be happier.

Can't find anyplace actually telling me what an Aldnoah drive is. I now know everything about how to start or shut it down, other places told me they're poorly written plot devices, but nothing about what they actually are..

However if a generator so small would be so powerful, I'd expect it to be Eldritch powered or some shit, maybe a gateway directly linked to the Warp or something.
Most certainly not something your civilization could have designed, considering the level of the rest of your tech.

I also still don't know how a mere drive can turn up to six massive mechanical arms into a single molecule. I'm no scientist, but I am 666% sure that's not how molecules work..

And onto the eldritch and warp stuff, like many other science fiction civilizations pr factions I could just say that I either found it in some ancient planet or ruins or I could've traded with a civilization that has such technology. Then again the Aldnoah drive sounds like a better idea...

I retconned the solar system chart/map, I hope it is an improvement, if anyone thinks it is better (well for one it includes Nova in the system), then the old one can be replaced.

In all fairness, science fantasy isn't entirely bad, you are almost entirely science fantasy, with your liches and daemons, while Vektra has a bit of science fantasy, with his God Emperor, and Halvatia is almost entirely science fantasy as well.

In all fairness, science fantasy isn't entirely bad, you are almost entirely science fantasy, with your liches and daemons, while Vektra has a bit of science fantasy, with his God Emperor, and Halvatia is almost entirely science fantasy as well.

I'm not saying it's bad, science fantasy can be great if done right. I know that I use it a lot too, but even then it is explainable, I put a lot of thought behind everything I add to my nation, I can even explain how my literal Magic works.
