I don't see what the ship mass has to do with it, but let's assume both ships have equal strength shields.

Most likely the constant pressure of such large objects pushing into eachother would instantly overload the shields, atleast, if the shield type would attempt to block the other ship. Basically rape happens. *nods*

Before the two ships collide, each ships shields collide, so when the shields meet, you think they would both break?

Mmmm. I've always been the type of person who thinks shields work depending on the incoming projectile speed. That means, if you decide to ram against an enemy ship, you would be slow compared to a missile, torpedo or a blaster bolt, so the shields would be ignorated. I believe that must be like that, since if not, boarding parties would be impossible, and one of the funniest thinks on space warfare, is the use of boarding parties

Yes, so you slow down to board, but what if you were going at the same speed as a torpedo, or what if a torpedo had a shield?![]()
Oh and Tiagawa do ODPs have shields?

Again it depends on how many there are. A colony-world will geosync an ODP over their major cities first, prioritising any city that houses a space elevator. After this, any additional ODPs spread out as more are built.

Jokes aside should we all be expecting the same orbital bombardment as Nova Rimworld received? If so, I somewhat look forward to writing about how uncomfortable it is to fight in hazmat gear. Theeen again I guess crucial points like cities would have shields, thus not making them radioactive wastelands...Well, either way, nukes for all!

That's would interesting, as fighting in a radioactive wasteland is diffcult given the environment it has created.....anyway I have a probe on Agric Beta I could send it to you if you want
