A Peaceful Beginning to Scainish Occupation

Breaking News: Scain has surrendered to the Commonwealth Coalition comprised of Germeria, New Scotland, Nerodanus, Jord, and the Arkhon Federation. The Scainish Government, worried more about the general welfare of its citizens, decided to grant occupation and pledged to work with the Coalition. The Scainish decision was commended by the international community who was dreading a long conflict.

Senate Leader Stephen Lansing released a statement announcing, "I am glad that Scain is willing to work with the international community to strengthen its Nation and its ties with the world. The more that the international community can work together, the more we can move forward as a united race."

Arkhonian opinion for Scain has also increased with early polls reporting that the public supports peaceful action. With this in mind, the policy directed towards the occupation zone will be increasingly peaceful, and legislators are already pushing to get funding to Scain to begin the reconstruction of the nation. The Chancellor has yet to release a public statement on Scain's surrender.

Police searching an apartment complex for terrorists

Earlier this afternoon the streets of Edinburgh erupted in chaos as a series of terror attacks were launched. The attacks started after a bomb went off in the "diplomatic row" a mile from the Presidential Residence. Following the attack the National Guard moved in to secure the diplomatic residences. Two hours later a group of heavily armed men began firing into crowds out side of the Wallace Football Stadium as the fans left. Tactical police units were quick to arrive on the scene and engaged the attackers. One attacker has been confirmed killed by the police. A second attacker detonated a bomb vest killing one officer and leaving two more in critical condition. The other attackers fled from the scene and are still at large. The attackers are described as armed and extremely dangerous. Following the second attack the Governor of Edinburgh, Michael Scorcesse, declared martial law and put the city under lockdown. The origin of the attackers are unknown but tattoos on the dead attacker may suggest Tadbuese Origin.

After much negotiation, the new nation of Varisis has decided to join the ranks of the Arkhonian International Bank. Varisis' membership will come as an accessory to a larger deal which effectively places more of the global economy into safer hands. As a member of the Bank, Varisis will enjoy benefits such as the experience of loyal AGISE Stock Brokers and Trading Partners. Varisis will be exchanging a portion of their oil rights to the Federation as well as basing rights while the Federation will be giving Varisis nuclear technology, funding for a space program, and clearance for Varians to share their religion with Arkhonians. In the end, both parties will walk away with desired benefits and a closer international relationship.

Terrorists Attack Novo Razcon City

Earlier today, a terrorist cell named "The Forces of Laerolk" attacked Novo Razcon City. Among the incidents involved were an explosion at the Dragon Stadium during a football match, a vehicle-ramming attack, and several mass shootings. While NRCPD forces managed to halt the attacks within 45 minutes, at least 200 were wounded with 20 fatalities confirmed. According to the local police, there were protests before this incident, but nothing on this scale. The Forces of Laerolk, in a televised announcement they forcibly sent to television networks, has declared itself the sole legitimate Razonican government and calls for an uprising against the oppressors in New Scotland, Nerodanus, and Germeria. In response to the incident, the Supreme Leader has declared the Religious Approval Act. The law states that religions are legal, but they must be approved by the newly formed Ministry of Religion. The Ministry mandates that no religions defy logic, science, and reasoning, no religion can endorse human sacrifice or any sort of human inequality, and no religion can support the downfall of the Novo Razconian Government under the previously-declared Treason Act, which clarifies that betraying the state is punishable by death.

As another thing, the Leader spoke at a press conference that supporting the Forces of Laerolk would be completely stupid for several reasons. First and foremost, Laerolk decapitated the son of the Grand Duke of Razoria on live television, so the people who support his style of government would likely end up fighting Razoria. Second, the Treason Act's existence would mean that if the FoL lost, all members would be executed by the current government. Third, the conflict would only sabotage the reconstruction and reindustrialization efforts the current government is heading. However, while the Supreme Leader stated his content with people's disagreeing with him, he does not condone openly acting against the state, which includes joining the Forces of Laerolk.

Novo Razconian Reconstruction Moving Swimmingly

On the matter of economics, the GDP of Novo Razcon has risen $87 billion in the past 18 days, which boils down to $4.833 billion on a daily basis. While the Supreme Leader is pleased with this, he expressed his hope that the daily GDP increase passes $5 billion and that the country finally reaches a full 100 in economic efficiency. As he stated, Novo Razconian is evolving into a regional power in politics, and its economy and infrastructure must improve to match its influence. In addition, the state has joined the Elvaryan Trade Organization and Vestila Trade Organization, which His Excellency is certain will boost the state's economy and industry. Unfortunately, in response to the recent terrorist incident, the CERS meeting and the space program's goals will need to wait until the nation can maintain its own geopolitical integrity.

Praise and criticism alike has been raised recently as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs Raven Grunwald announced earlier this week of a new international education and exchange program between various nations around the world. Coronated with the simple title Elvaryan International Academic Program, the program is intended to help unite and expand the possibilities of the international scientific community by allowing easy access for future innovators and leaders in various fields to new experiences and other disciplines of study, and an early exchange trip has been formulated by the Aelstun University. The Headmaster of the university hopes that one of the many prestigious academies in the other nations would be willing to help host the exchange, despite its quick organization.

To help kickstart this initiative, Kaiser Friedrich has invested 10 million Germics from public funds to fund the administration and execution of exchange programs. On top of the exchange aspect, an overarching program is in place that keeps all participants in contact with their foreign university, with the hope that these participants make contacts and friends abroad that follows into their professional careers.

Currently, all members of the program are former members of the Elvaryan Entente, a fact not lost on both the isolationists and progressive activist factions of the Reichstag. These two seemingly unlikely allies have found common ground on this issue for very different reasons; the isolationists dislike the resources being allotted for foreign programs and activities, and more vocal sects of the faction denounced the inclusion of Nerodanus in the program right before the annual memorial of the Turnip Winter is to commemorated. The Progressives dislike the perceived favoritism of the Entente nations, despite the program charter stating that any nation may join.

With the upcoming elections for the Reichstag and the contentious campaign for Reichskanzler between the war hero and general Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck, the so called "Lion of Teras" and popularly claimed champion of the commoners, and George von Papen, a common born citizen of Sachsen that has managed to gain the support of the aristocratic Electors, this move could potentially be able to shift public opinion in a decisive manner to one candidate and ensure their election.

LEWIS ISLAND, SCAIN - This morning the Arkhonian government in New Castle passed the first directive regarding the operations in Lewis Island. The directive mandates that all Arkhonian Affiliates in the area prepare for the mass campaign to encourage Scainish civilians to take a much-needed vacation to the Arkhon Federation for the duration of the Scainish Occupation. Civilians that choose to take a vacation to the Federation will enjoy first-world amenities, world-class education, and durable protection. Civilians that choose stay on the island will be placed in the Skills-Work Program which incentivizes an "Honest Day of Work". The program will be built around Capitalism and will operate to teach civilians how to earn what they deserve. Furthermore, the Program will be the backbone of the reconstruction of Lewis Island and will help build roads, bridges, and watersheds. While relocating the people, the Vigil Energy Corp. will begin building the "Scainish Wind Farm" - an energy facility that will be built off the island's coast to provide renewable electric energy to the people.

The Federation has projected that about 40% of the Scainish people will choose to take a vacation to the Arkhon Federation. To appeal to the people, the Federation has promised that a continuation of the full Religion of Sal can be practiced at the facility where they will live. Since the Coalition is trying to oppress most of their culture, they will need a place to freely exercise it within the bounds of their facility. The Federation will offer this freedom to all Scainish civilians who decide to take a vacation.

In memory of the lost Arkhonian souls during the invasion of Lewis Island - a monument will be built at the main-battle site to commemorate their service. The monument will be constructed from Scainish Obsidian, formed as a 200-foot Obelisk, fashioned with a golden Arkhonian Wreath featured on each side. This monument will be beneficial for Scain because it will draw people to Lewis Island to see the massive Obelisk. The Government released that this is only one out of many directives that will be applied to Scain during the occupation.

As the Civil War in Plyric rages on, Neroian troops stationed there have begun to conduct raids on Claudiopolis supply lines to slow done troop advancement and lower morale among the rebels. However it is acknowledged that a peaceful resolution to the conflict may be needed if a referendum is held on the land of Claudipolis and administered by the CW to ensure no cheating occurs. However previous attempts at peace have been denied by both sides and as the conflict rages on. Hope still exists for an ending soon.

Nerodanus has agreed to participate in the International Education and Exchange Program with nations around the world. Students in Nerodanus and across Elvarya will take semesters in other nations in efforts to build world relations and expand the innovative futures of the next generation. Multiple Neroian High Schools and Universities have already offered to assist in being hosts to the foreign students. Plans are underway with other nations within the Program to ensure the easiest possible transition for any students.

As the Occupation of Scain continues the Coalition has begun its work on rebuilding the Nation. Horatio Nelson has been selected to be the next King of the new Integralist government of Scain. Disagreements from Scanish civilians has lead to increased patrols in the Capital Island as guerrilla fighters continue to be rooted out by Neroian and Jordian forces.

NEW CASTLE - Reports from Lewis Island are positive as the Scainish people seem to be settling down after the invasion earlier this month. The implementation of the Skills-Works Program has put people to work, keeping them busy throughout the day. Military Police are still prominent in most areas to maintain authority and displays of force are common to keep the people docile. The Skills-Works Program, based on the fundamentals of capitalism, makes people earn their daily necessities including food and clean water.

In exchange for a full day's work, Scainish citizens are given a Credit which they can exchange to an Arkhonian Market for food and clean water for the night and the morning. Those that cannot work can apply for a Disability Card which guarantees them one credit each day for free. Scainish citizens will work for corporations to build roads, buildings, and other forms of infrastructure for the island. Scainish citizens that are heading to the Federation will be given skills to become the leaders of Scainish companies that the Federation has initially funded.

Arkhonian interest of Lewis Island is growing back home, and escorted cruise ships will begin heading down to Scain for Arkhonians to see how the Scainish people live. The cruise ships will not dock on the island but will circle the island and each Cruise ship will be accompanied by an Arkhonian Frigate for protection. Willing Scainish civilians will be brought onboard for Arkhonians to see, up-close, who these people are and how they act.

The Arkhonian Government will shift the initial money going toward Lewis Island to Locus Island in the Pyik Sea. Construction of the island has increased over the last month, and the construction of the Space Station is at the forefront of many Arkhonian minds.

After a long process of evacuating and cleaning up all they could, the combined efforts of Scientist and military help managed to get as many people out of the city and brought us

In total 15 people have died within the initial meltdown, with 10 of which were registered Nuclear Scientists with the rest being various staff and custodians. The civilian death count is Zero, however, many who resided close to the power plant have suffered serious radiation poisoning and are showing life-threatening situations.

When we asked the teams who went into the reactor how such an event was possible, and from what they told us it appears to be some sort of accident within the chamber from a routine test and ended with an explosion.

As it stands over 20,000 people are stuck without a home, forced to evacuate and are stuck in a refugee camp 10 Km outside of the town, where generous donations from few fellow Jord citizens and volunteers from various organisations are trying to make the most out of what they have.

More details will come in a later report, though this incident raises many questions.

Today Supreme Leader Miguel Laoza released his first official statement since ascending to office. The statement consist of the governments official stance on other nations. The Statement concerns the major powers of Elvarya. The stances in the statement are as follows: "The States of Nerodanus, Scain, Caerion, Renova, Jord, and Kaladia are to be considered nations of no particular interest to San Laozan. They neither threaten us nor stand out in supporting us. The Nations of New Scotland and Arkhon are considered friends to San Laozan. Arkhon has military basing rights in our lands as well as having an embassy and college campus in San Laozan. Furthermore San Laozan is part of the Elvarya Trade Organization led by the Arkhon Federation. New Scotland and San Laozan maintain a defensive treaty. Both nations also share embassy's and maintain trade relations. The state of Germeria is considered to have a special relationship with San Laozan. This stems from the fact that San Laozan was once a former Germerian colony. San Laozan maintains friendly relations with Futrellia off of the basis that Futrellia has a strong democratic basis. Finally the state of Novo Razcon is to be considered a threat to San Laozan. This stance originates from Novo Razcon's totalitarian government presenting a threat to world freedom and peace." This statement was applauded by the head of the Laozan National Security party as being a "Step to defend freedom-loving peoples everywhere."

Germeria and Caerion come to Agreement with Military Sale

A deal has been announced between the Caerion and Germerian governments over the sale of military equipment and closer military ties between the two the countries. For a total of sum of $50 million Germics, the Caerion Government will be receiving 100,000 units of Germerian made and licensed infantry arms, as well as an unspecified amount of surplus military equipment ranging from vehicles to large explosive ordinances. Germeria would also send advisers and trainers to help oversee and instruct the Caerion military in the usage of the equipment.

In a separate agreement, Germeria will sell 50 jet aircraft, 20 maritime bombing craft and 100 maritime patrol helicopters to help kickstart the nations airforce, for a total sum of $515 million Germics. 15 million of this sum will be given immediately to the Germerian government, and the remaining 500 million will be repaid of the course of the next few years, with partial loans being offered by Germeria. Many in the Diet believe this to be a move made in order to lessen the impact potential piracy might have on international trade, as Caerion sits on a popular shortcut for trade between Western Aldes, Vardes and Teras.

In other news, unverified whistleblowers in the upper echelons of the Diet have let slip of a potential program between Germeria and other nations in a highly secretive military project. This remains an unverified rumor, however.

Consumer prices in Hanaga rose by 1.5 percent year-on-year in February of 2018, after a 1.4 percent gain in the prior month while markets estimated 1.7 percent. It is the highest inflation rate since August 2008, due to a jump in cost of transport and a further increase in cost of food.

In February, prices of food increased by 3 percent year-on-year, following a 3.2 percent rise in February, namely fresh food (12.4 percent from 12.5 percent), fish and seafood (4.3 percent from 5.2 percent) and fresh fruits (5.9 percent from 4.4 percent). Meantime, prices fell for dairy product and eggs (-0.3 percent from a flat reading in a month earlier).

In addition, cost went up at a faster pace for: medical care (1.8 percent from 1.6 percent); transport & communication (1.5 percent from 0.7 percent); culture and recreation (1.3 percent from 0.5 percent) and miscellaneous (0.6 percent from 0.5 percent). At the same time, cost increased less for clothes and footwear (0.3 percent from 0.5 percent) and fuel, light and water charges (4.3 percent from 4.6 percent, as cost of electricity went up 5.8 percent, after a 6.4 percent rise in the prior month). Inflation was steady for education (0.4 percent).

On the other hand, prices continued to fall for housing (-0.1 percent from -0.1 percent) and furniture and household utensils (-1.7 percent from -1.2 percent)

Core inflation rate, which exclude fresh food, rose by 1 percent from a year earlier and matching expectations. It is the highest level since October of 2017.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices went up 0.1 percent, compared to a 0.4 percent increase in the preceding month.

While working with the Arkhonian International Bank and the Arkhon Federation, the nation of Caerion will begin to turn a profit. "More investors will look to spend their money in Caerion as the nation grows." This statement was given to the government yesterday from a representative from the Arkhonian International Bank, and the people are celebrating after getting word of this good news.

In other developments, the five-year plan is also beginning as Arkhonian crews dock and begin construction. From advice from the international community, the nation of Caerion will continue to have little restrictions on industries so that the plan works. In a joint force with Arkhon, the first stage of the plan is to build transportation in and between the islands, connecting the nation.

"First we need to build adequate transportation so that the nation's industry can properly work. Once we build roads, train tracks, ports, and landings stripes, we can begin to bring in companies." -Arkhon

The government is working with other nations too, as a new plan with Germeria will bring weapons and training to Caerion's military. Caerion plans to build a defense force capable of controlling the Pyik sea. The nation will also be working with New Scotland and Arkhon to train the navy with tactics and mobility. Caerion has been advised to work on naval plans that seals off the Pyik sea to protect the islands.

The mother of King Dudan II died this morning, marking the end of the families elder generation. King Riis III died five years ago passing the crown and the power our current King. The Huex Family which has ruled the throne since its conception will spend the week to mourn in the Huex Castle where the former queen will be buried. The influential Vigil Family from the Arkhon Federation will also be in attendance as James Vigil was the queen's younger brother.

The Critical Election marks the end of the conservative party as the liberal party takes control over the government once again. New Liberation Commander named by National Liberation Front

Czargrad, Renova- Today Revolutionary President Fu Pei announced a shocking turn, of events at a National Liberation Front rally in downtown Czargrad. It seems that a new Liberation Commander has been named, for the Renovan People's Liberation Armed Forces following General Muso's retirement. A veteran of several major conflicts himself General Muso, stated it was time for him to retire and spend time with his family. President Fu Pei accepted the general's request, calling him one of the greatest heros of the Revolutionary People's State. Several leaders of the Central Committee, was also in attendance at the general's party such as Supreme Commander Lin Hua and Sun Young Kim.

President Pei announced that Air Marshal Park Yeoung will succeed the general, as the new Liberation Commander of the Renovan People's Liberation Armed Forces. Yeoung a twenty-five year veteran of the Renovan People's Liberation Air Force, stated she was honored to succeed her mentor as the Liberation Commander. Her appointment to the position has left many leaders, and military officers wondering about her future plans for Renova's military. A military parade is expected to take place, within the next couple of days to welcome the hand over of power. President Lei was quoted stating the following message, as he honored General Music's achievements to the National Liberation Front. "General Muso is one of our greatest Liberation Commanders, who honored his duty to his nation above that of his own life. I am truly sadded by his retirement from the military, but he does need to spend time with his family and friends. However disspite this change our military will continue, to move forward with it plans to which I am sure Air Marshal Park Young can oversee in the future." One can truly hope she has the best interest, of the Revolutionary People's State at heart, or we all could be in trouble in the near future.

Scain Refuses To Recognize Novo Razcon

In a move that could only be described as extreme stupidity, King Horatio Nelson (the Fuck) ceased to recognize Novo Razcon as a government. His exact words on the subject were:

"I do not sit down with people that are not important. I am more focused with dealing with actual international states" and "I can only improve relations with other states. I don't want any conflict with Novo Razcon, so I will not recognize it as a state. An issue would only arise if he attacks me. Hopefully he would not, as we are now a peaceful nation."

Almost immediately after news of this went public, Novo Razcon's average approval rating for Scain, which beforehand was rising due to hope that the new government would actually mend fences with those wronged by the former three governments, sharply plummeted. In response to this, the Supreme Leader has passed the Scainish Incompetence Act, which states that Novo Razcon will cease to recognize any non-occupied Scainish governments and will occupy the islands, here and after referred to as Islands 1 through 4 of The Archipelago, if no one else is willing.

In other news, the country has begun research on what the Military Research and Development Department is calling the Apple Project, which proponents are claiming should provide better protection to soldiers than ceramic plate armor or standard kevlar. Also, the state is acting in alignment with Nerodanus, New Scotland, and Germeria to tackle the Forces of Laerolk, which now claims to have connections with Leepee Dor and the Black Lions.

NEW CASTLE - The Arkhonian Government is excited to announce that a positive relationship with the new Scainish Government is developing, bringing the nation's popularity up in the Arkhon Federation. Arkhonian interests send the Federation to maintain good relations with the legitimate Scainish government and collaborate with sed government to avoid another pirate state from arising. In an agreement pending approval from the Coalition, the King of Scain was invited to the Arkhon Federation for a state dinner. During this official state event, the King will be invited to meet with his fellow Scainians that are training to become CEOs of new major Scainish companies in the Federation.

Development of Locus Island in the Pyik Sea is on schedule and planners estimate that the general development of the island will be completed ahead of Schedule. In a joint effort with the nation of Caerion, further defensive structures will be built on the island to protect Arkhonian interests in the Pyik Sea. The Chancellor, today, ordered The Fourth Arkhonian Fleet to a station at Locus Island increasing the total amount of fleets in that region to three. The Chancellor also ordered The Fifth Arkhonian Fleet, stationed in Lewis Island, to return back to the Federation. Many speculate that this signals a decrease in Arkhonian interest in the nation of Scain while an increased interest in the Pyik region.

The nations of Hanaga and Dormior will join the Arkhonian International Bank as the 10th and 11th members. Both members joined to strengthen their economies as Hanaga is experiencing stagflation and Dormior is a continuing to suffer from the war. Bank representatives will arrive in Hanaga tomorrow to begin bringing the nation out of its inflation. The Representatives working with the Ark-Globe International Stock Market will recommend that Hanaga highers their interest rates making the cost of borrowing too high. The program will also encourage the government to abolish industrial regulations so that businesses can produce goods at a low-cost. With more aggregate supply, prices will drop as the supply will meet the demand. Finally, the representatives recommend that wages are lowered on a national level until the nation can return from stagflation. This will check the market as people will be only able to demand products that are priced low. Construction will begin in Dormior as the Federation will begin to build a transportation network in their nation. Construction with will include highways and train tracks. Arkhonian Construction companies will arrive soon to break ground on the project that will send Dormior to an industrialized nation.

The Arkhonian Academy will open its doors to more people than ever before as a new university will be constructed in San Laozan. The University will be adorned with a first-class medical school and program. The Academy has been looking to build a new medical school for a long-time and after making the deal with San Laozan, the school was excited to finally find a home for it. Construction has already begun and the project is planned to be finished in late 2020.

An Arkhonian Diplomat stationed in Novo Razcon was brought back to the Federation last week, pending trial, after the Chancellor got word that he offered to buy terrorists captured by Razconian soldiers in the ongoing terrorist conflict their state is experiencing. The Diplomat was also found to be encouraging the leader of Novo Razcon to film the conflict for Arkhonian consumption. These actions were not supported by the Chancellery and the diplomat has been charged with treason. The Chancellor has reached out to the nation of Novo Razcon to mend relations and apologize for in incompetence of his employee. Furthermore, the government will support Novo Razcon in their fight against terrorism.

Chairman Clementi Announces Construction of Cross-Continental Railroad on Aldes and Teras

Chairman Clementi and the Legation Council have announced the launch of a new international project, intent on connecting the various Legation Cities on the continents of Aldes and Teras. Dubbed the Kanto-to-Vendome Railway, the Legation Cities have approached the nations of Novo Razcon, Dormior, Varumia, Germeria and Nerodanus with the proposal of retrofitting old railways and constructing new ones and connecting them to existing rail networks. The project has been estimated to cost 15 Billion Germics to complete the retrofits and constructions, and every nation mentioned previously has agreed to fund their portion of the railway. The cost will be split to 2 billion equivalent currency units for each participatory nation, with the Legation Council covering 3 billion Germics. The Kanto-to-Vendome Railway will be expected to have a majority of its tracks completed near November or December of this year, with the Razconian portion being estimated to take longer to complete with their current internal crisis.

And for the continent of Teras, the nations of Jord and New Scotland have agreed to a similar deal as the Kanto-to-Vendome Railway, with a much smaller cost of around 8-10 Billion Germics, as there is much less ground to cover. Completion is expected to be around June of 2020, unless the current conflict in Tadbu extends the Scottish predictions and the Jordian reactor relief takes more concern for the Jordian government. This project is titled as the Port Arthur Rail Circuit, with Port Arthur being the dominant Legation City in Teras, and cost will be split at 3.5 Billion per nation involved. The government of Varisis has yet to respond, but their inclusion would split costs further and would save small amounts of money from having the railway be diverted from going through tribal lands outside Jord and Scottish Tadbu.

Second Germerian Super-aircraft Carrier Goes Through Extensive Tests and Trials, Planned Retrofits and Re-entry into Service After War Games

The second super-carrier of the Maximillian-Hesse class, the GNV Erich Raeder will be going under extensive retrofits, trials and tests, before finally attending the annual Germerian Naval War Games, announced the Germerian Admiralty. Originally beginning in 2017 when the GNV Kaiser Friedrich was launched, the construction of the Erich Raeder was increased and given top priority when the Razonican War broke out. Steady progress was made during most of the war, but after the contentious and indecisive battle at Juutland against the Futrellian navy, along with the sudden increase of dockyards being taken up in repairs, the Admiralty decided to cut corners in the production of the second carrier in order to launch it before the end of the war.

Now that the war is over and the economy has started the process of demilitarizing, the Admiralty has decided to take advantage of their resources for the time being and finish the construction and supplying of the Erich Raeder so that it can stand up to par with its older brother. After these retrofits, it will be going through extensive sea trials and combat tests to ensure the upgrades and fittings will not cause serious worry during combat situations, and finally it will be dpeloyed in upcoming war games with the Arhkonian Federation and potentially other nations. Final re-entry into service will be expected to take place in late December of 2019, where it will join the Vestilic Fleet in operations cleaning up former Scainish piracy and securing trade with New Scotland and other Vestilic nations.

As well, the first round of reparations have reached Germeria, with 10 billion Germics of the Razonican reparations being delivered to Germeria, and 30 billion EAC reparations being distributed amongst the former Entente members.

Cinema: A new war film about the Razonican War titled 'Unser Kampf' reaches new popularity. The film recounts the experiences of Private Wilhelm Fuerbild, an Amsterdamme native as he fought from Clerica to the very end of the war and his role in the capture of Borodino. The overall theme stresses brotherhood and the horrors of conflict, and ending with a message of forgiveness and understanding in order to move on from the war.
Literature: Razonican born Fluer de Cambrigny has released her newest entry in a series of philosophical works, titled 'The Recollections'. A noted Stoic, Cambrigny uses her experiences of being a civilian living in the eastern front during the war to teach others affected by the war how to handle the grief and consequences and turn it to their advantage, by mastering their emotional responses and achieving a more stable inner peace. Reception has been strong in the former Razonican territories, but it met stiff criticism by many Germerian nationals.

Recently, in April 4th 2019 the Hanagan Self Defense Force began the Eastern Shield yearly Wargames, the War Games will take place in far Eastern Hanaga simulating a OPFOR(Opposition Force) land invasion into Hanaga, The Minister of Defense and the regional Government has agreed that some Civilian Elements will take place to simulate Realism to the Max in the case of a foreign invasion of Hanaga through it's wide Eastern Beaches, unlike Western Hanaga the area in Eastern Hanaga is less industrialized and more Forested which allows Guerilla Warfare training to be included in the War Games during it's "III Phase" part which will take place from 15th of April to 19th of April which is the day where the War Games will end.

Back in New Kyoto, there was a recent Protest which protested the 11th Amendment which would allow the Hanagan Self Defense Force to be deployed overseas and abandon it's main aim as a purely Self Defense force, but experts say that opposition overtime will decline due to the fact that more and more people are letting their voices be heard to defend the 11th Amendment which has recently gained popularity in Hanagan Social Media networks, the main defense of the Opposition to the 11th Amendment has been the "Fear of a Military Junta" which seems unlikely to happen.

A Landmark Shift in Arkhonian International Policy

NEW CASTLE - Today the Chancellor spoke with Foreign Affairs Committee to finalize the new amendments to Arkhonian International Policy. This new policy aims to reinforce the neutral grounds of the Federation in international affairs as it pertains to the establishment of the Commonwealth. With this new policy, the Federal Government will further be required to assume neutral relations with all nations that have not violated the Federation's independence and/or profit. The policy, however, affirms that the government can encourage Arkhonian conglomerates, corporations, and private institutions to deal and invest in the international community. The policy still leaves it open for the government to invest in foreign nations independently, and the Federal Assembly plans to pass A.6584; A Bill to Invest in Scainish Education, tomorrow. Noting the recent loss of interest in the Scainish Islands, the bill will provide less money than previously offered when it was passed in the Senate.

The new policy will also require the Executive to establish positive diplomatic channels with all Elvaryan Nations, strengthening ties and uniting interests. The Federation will begin a campaign this week to grow positive relations in all nations. This comes after successful talks with Nerodanus - as the two governments collaborated to secure better relations with each other. The talks brought lower tariffs for both nations on all goods flowing between the two states, promoting the sale of Arkhonian goods in Nerodanus and Nerodanus goods in the Arkhon Federation. The two nations also agreed to begin a Trans-Orvosic Sports Program, Joint robotic research, and a Trans-Orvosic Culture Fair. It is well known that the nation of Nerodanus has a prospering Gaming culture, and the Arkhon Federation along-side the Arkhonian International Bank plans to donate a considerable amount of money to the Gaming Culture of Elvarya. The Ministry of State plans to hold talks with every Elvryan nation to begin to better relations internationally.

In other news, the government has passed a bill to end sports that involve the death of another human being. This comes after the massive public outcry against the Arkhonian Games after its first showing. The games were originally designed to provide a new type of entertainment in the modern era contrasting popular sports at the time. However, the public reaction to the games was overwhelmingly negative and the press to outlaw such games led to the Federal Government's brief actions.

(EXIA) Progressive measures built by the Technocratic Party, which holds more than half of the seats on both houses in the National Diet and became responsible for a significant swing that eventually rebuilt the once fragile walls that almost shattered the country's development. Laws that exited and entered the country's constitution split the arguments about the pillars of civil and political freedom, while nations outside of it's territories follows up similar patterns of great progress. Below the light everyone looks up to is the anarchy that overwhelms lands owned by people, refused to be recognized, and barbaric tendencies outside are a tradition that shouldn't be practiced. Of course this nation oversaw a century of its own becoming a barbarian of itself, only to crumble when things becomes too unstable to stand, which ended the empire that it was once known for, and its plans to built a regional hegemony collapsed with it.

Fuso opened up diplomatic relations with the rest of the world, and if they claim that they haven't, they should open their doors by now. Embassies and consulates built on the capital and cities provided the cornerstone of international diplomacy. One of which is having a door closest to them should they wish to discuss matters of vital interest, and other is to reach out their own people within it's borders. The first nation to offer such next step towards a great process of diplomacy was the Arkhon Federation, where indeed discussed matters to step up for closer relations, one of which is to join an international bank made by them. The decision of the government was not final, but they are well interested for the international bank's role in keeping the world economy going forward.

Moving on, the need for a government evaluation is always a necessary phase especially if it involves it's own military. While the status of it's armed forces cannot be given a clear answer for, the fact it grew due to concerns of security and the protection of its interests has always been a subject of controversy every time a military ship sails beyond it's own waters. It's military ambitions grew even more as many nations out there began to built behemoths on a globe that hasn't run over on the wrong lands yet. Moreover, the economic prospect, while saw a significant growth from it's sluggish period, needed a great swing to keep it going. Investment has gone up where it needs to in order to make a stable, good run for a buy and sell stakeout with it's shareholders. Moreover, the keen interest of being involved in the global craze for space in the last couple of years wasn't new, but all that energy driven up from the past shouldn't stop it from going now.

Closing this article with a note should be a good day to say that the Fusonese Government is going to the direction of the people's needs. But the previous challenges that hasn't been addressed yet, or ignored remains a significant obstacle for it to resume it's prosperity. The kind of pursuit for prosperity doesn't signal the country's warrant to need a global status, but asked that the nation itself, and others such that has not been recognized should be given seats to the international community, and continue making links that will eventually steer the world to the right direction.

Mass Protests Break Out Following Public Announcement of Agreements with Arkhon Federation

Following the public announcement of plans to increase relations between Nerodanus and the Arkhon Federation, mass protests broke out in cities across the nation calling for the government to cease the efforts. Polls have indicated that there is a small majority in favor of the efforts, coming in at 53%, 45% coming in against and the remainder either refusing to answer or indifferent. Many of the protesters were claiming that the Nation making agreements with one who has tricked and lied to others, neglected laws, and enslaved others until very recently was a cruel betrayal to the Neroian people, and called for the Foreign Minister in charge of the negotiations to be removed from his position. At the only Arkhon International Bank left in Nerodanus efforts were made by more extreme anti-Arkhonians to destroy the bank with a bomb loaded van. The plot to do so was caught by an unsure participant, who reported the effort to the police where shortly after arrests were made, items seized, and the area around the bank temporarily closed down to the public until it was assured that no further threats may come.

The agreements listed from the Government website indicate that both Arkhon and the Arkhon bank will be making donations to the NMLG for construction of new gaming stadiums, lowered tariffs, a culture fair to come around later in the year to spread awareness of the others culture in each nation, joint research into Robotics, and sports competitions between the two nations. In the latter event multiple stadiums have claimed they will not host the Arkhonian teams sent over to Nerodanus, and will instead close themselves in protest should they be requested to host. Multiple towns and cities have also said they will not be host to the Culture Fair following popular votes on the matter.

International Concerns addressed, but laying out foundations requires cooperation says the government.

The word is out and Fuso is stepping up. A textbook based playstyle of diplomacy is set for the government to make close bilateral ties with many nations across the world, and seeing significiant, mutual interests with the Arkhon Federation, the Fusonese Government scheduled trips to the country in making significant, step up deals of development. As the world market is as many experts say is stable, and both foreign and domestic investment is a must pursuit to tackle deficit issues that many corporations and governments are facing. Fuso's public debt, which was a longtime concern since it's economic miracle period saw a significant decline since the last 20 years. The promises the Technocratic Party pursues in seems to be finally taking effect. One of the economic analysts, Reo Satoshi says:

"These open "books" of opportunities will see a significant rise towards foreign and domestic investments. Negatives are said to be washing away, but we have yet to say much of that on our side. However, when we make close, national and business deals in many foreign countries. We can finally say that the future of humanity is secured for the next forty years. That sort of guarantee however, has to be made with every nations out there, and not just Fuso and a few other key nations."

Right towards domestic developments, the country have finally completed it's task of having every corner and islands of Fuso under coverage with extensive, fast, reliable and powerful fiber internet. Leading ISP providers such as AllCom stated that only 18% of it's customers left are now underway of having it's copper lines being replaced with fiber optics, yet these copper lines for now doesn't seem to completely ruin their customers' time and patience, as it remains to be one of the best in the world. Electronics remains to be the edge of Fuso's innovation, and in part of that, significant innovations have yet to reach it's attention towards the general public. Manufacturing and service industries remained at it's full capacity to operate and serve the needs of the nation, as demand remains to rise up.

Over to the government, the concerns for defense and security remains to be the topic in the National Diet in small but increasing worries of foreign incursions. This is likely due to how the government continues to observe certain events that are unfolding, with most events relating to only conflict and loss of life. The Prime Minister has yet to say much about this, but his aide states that the military is ready to respond to any threats that may harm the country and it's interests as it continues to travel and mark it's own approach throughout the entire globe. However, it was already clear from day one that Fuso remains to keep it's own neutrality as it's own friendly approach due to the unpredictable and unstable nature of politics today, but it will continue to make a positive approach towards several nations. Meanwhile, leading security corporations including GSO says that it will lead much of the country towards domestic security, and encourage open arms that may break a longtime law that restricted much of the civilian population from buying arms.
