Following today's announcement by the Arkhonian Government to put in place energy Restrictions on Scain following the formation of the Pirate State of Scain. Through out the day intense debate from the Arkhonian/Razcon coalition and the Germerians representing Scain. Eventually both sides came to an agreement limiting energy and military equipment heading to Scain. Following the deliberation Imperial President Horatio announced that "The People of Scain need not suffer for the actions of their government nor the aggressions of foreign powers." Horatio has declared that New Scotland would commence the shipping of humanitarian supplies including, Food, Water, Water purification equipment, vegtable oil, Cleaning methanol, Lye for the purposes of soap, Copper pipes for water infrastructure, cast iron cookware, and medical supplies. The New Scottish International Releif Organization has also offered to send aid workers to assist Scain in surviving the impending blackouts but as of now there has been no word from the Scanish government as to the permission. As part of the peace deal all ships sent to Scain are open to be searched by a joint Germerian-Arkhonian task force.

Novo Razcon Declares Support of Plyric

After an anticlimactic diplomatic solution to the issue of the Scainish Pirates, the Supreme Leader has decided to redirect his concerns towards the fledgling state of Claudiopolis, which has recently broken away from Plyric. As an act of goodwill towards the former Entente, the Supreme Leader has declared support of Plyric in the event of a civil war. This will include a blockade of Claudiopolis and a full-scale invasion should a war break out.

In other news, Novo Razcon has decided to support the construction of a moonbase on Lunist and send a manned expedition to the inner moon, the latter of which the Supreme Leader wishes to do by the end of the decade.

The Pirate News Network is reporting that there has been several mass explosions on the Lewis Island - the Arkhonian olympic island. The government is not saying who created these bombs, but sources say that a small boat was found on the beach of Lewis Island. The exposions targeted the undersontruction olympic stadium that was being built for the winter olympic games. The stadium was probably really expensive and the Arkhon Federation lost a lot of money. Reporters are also saying that a lot of Arkhonians died. That is all for tonight, more will come tomorrow.

Supreme Leader Calls for Formation of Confederation of Ex-Razonican States

Recognizing the current state of Elvarya, including the Razonican successor states of Novo Razcon, Varumia, Razoria, and the Razma Tribes, the Supreme Leader of Novo Razcon has decided to invite the leaders of the other three states- Grand Duke Walther I of Razoria, Reichskomissar Otto von Nürnberg of Varumia, and Queen Turína of the Razma Tribes- to meet with him in Novo Razcon City to discuss the formation of a Confederation of Ex-Razonican States, here and after referred to as CERS. Lee's intent in forming the CERS is to allow its member states to prosper together and recover from the aftermath of the war in which the Razonican Empire fell (to clarify, member states will retain independence, the CERS is merely an international organization). Currently, the meeting is still in the tentative state.

LUSSENDALE - The Razorian Adaptive Combat Uniform System, or RACUS, has completed the fourth phase of physical testing at the Dawson Military Testing Centre based in Caldwell, Futrellia, testing the newly introduced uniform designed for all Razorian Self-Defense Force soldiers and set for active use by mid-2019. The pattern, designed and submitted by Halcyon Armed Solutions, Inc, was one of more than 30 patterns submitted to the Department of Defense, bidding on a 350 million contract with the DoD on behalf of the Razorian Ministry of Defense. When the pattern has begun mass production, first through Futellian factories until Razoria can sufficiently support the operation, the uniforms will be dispersed through the 1st and 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigades, composed of 200 advisors sent to adequately train the Razorian SDF soldiers, until the RSDF can work independently from Federal protection.

The RACUS will give the RSDF an identity and allow the Defense Forces to retire the Imperial SARTUS uniforms used prior to the Razonican Crisis and subsequent decline of the Empire. While the release of the RACUS is deemed close, the search for a standardized rifle is still ongoing.

Winter Olympics Canceled

After a much anticipated Winter Olympics on the Arkhonian Lewis Island, the games have been canceled due to Scainish attacks on the construction site where the games were set to be held. Arkhonian Olympic Officials deemed that,

"The Games would not be hosted at a safe venue and that the risk for an attack would be too high."

The Arkhon Federation plans to move the games to the Arkhonian capitol of New Castle for a Summer Series of Games. Construction on the Olympic Stadium on Lewis Island has been halted and construction crews will move to the capitol to begin remodeling the Arkhonian Coliseum. The Coliseum which was finished in 2010 can seat 150,000 people and hosts both sport and state events. After the remodel, the Coliseum will seat an estimated 200,000 people and will be the largest stadium in Elvarya. Along with the Arkhonian Coliseum, several smaller stadiums will be built across New Castle to host the various Olympic events. The remodel of the Stadium will be funded from the gold and silver extracted from the Kingdom of Scain by the Arkhonian International Bank. At the collapse of the nation, the Arkhon Federation absorbed all holdings and assets left in the bank. From the new source of income, the Federation will be able to account for its lost funds in the construction of the Olympic Stadium on Lewis Island as well as pay for a portion of the remodel of the Stadiums in New Castle. Old Scainish holdings will continue to stay in the bank and will be carried through the Ark-Globe International Stock Exchange.

Regarding Scain, all Scainish Pirates that turn themselves in will become Arkhonian Slaves and will not be charged in Arkhonian Courts, however, all captured Scainish Pirates will be found guilty of Terrorist Activities and will be sentenced to death. Sentenced pirates will be transported back to the Federation and will die through the Brazen Bull at Patrician Parties where they will serenade such parties by blowing through the horn to breathe. Other countries that capture Scainish Pirates are encouraged to turn them over the Arkhon Federation to await their death.

At midnight tonight Imperial President Horatio and Germerian Diplomat Hans Feuershielt announced the formation of a new multinational organization by the name of MittelElvarya. This new organization consists of New Scotland, Germeria, and Varumia with Futtrellia and Razoria as pensive members. The aim of MittelElvarya is to strengthen diplomatic, economic, and defensive ties between members. The organization will have headquarters in New Scotland and Germeria and will be headed by Germerian general Helmuth Von Moltke and will hold it's first summit on Februrary 20th.

Government Loosens Razma Restrictions

In a surprise move by the Neroian Government, legislation passed to allow the Razma Tribes to join international organizations under their own free will. However limitations are that organizations joined cannot be militaristic in nature. Rearming of the Razma Government is still outlawed under the Treaty of Lusdale until Nerodanus sees fit to allow rearming of the Razonican remnant.

The move has been both praised and ridiculed by critics, with some claiming it is a step towards Razma self-sufficiency while others see it as a risk to the state, with the chance of the Razonican remnants uniting against the states around them and reforming the Razonican Empire. The reformation of the Razonican Empire is seen as a risk to the rest of Elvarya, with history possibly repeating itself and plunging the world in another global conflict.

Mere hours after the announcement by the Neroian Government that the Razma would be allowed to participate in non military organizations in Elvarya, Queen Turina accepted the offer from the Razonican splinter Novo Razcon to meeting in Novo Razcon City to discuss the formation of a Confederation. However it is unknown how much the Razma will be able to participate due to their status at the moment under Nerodanus. Current local reconstruction efforts have been slowed due to a cold winter and with Queen Turina refusing to take any more Neroian support, the reconstruction efforts will continue to be slow until the spring time.

The Pirate State of Scain has called all pirates back to the islands to hold a Convention on the new government of Scain. After the convention, the people of the nation of Scain have decided to give up piracy and will be run under an elected council - The Council of Scain. This council will be the only form of government in Scain and will help Scain regain its power. Since the nation of Scain has completely outlawed Piracy, the Council is asking that the international community back away from the Scainish Islands and let Scain live in peace. The Council of Scain has also issued apologizes to the Arkhon Federation to everyone that was hurt while Scain had pirates. To show our apology, the Council has decided to cancel all international affiliation with any other government or organization, accept the Arkhon Federation will be grandfathered in to show our sincere apology.

Reichskommissar Nürnberg today publicly stated his intention of attending the Razconian-lead summit between the major successor of the Razonican Empire, much against the wishes of the general public. The Kommissar was also quick to mention that as the Germerian military governor of Varumia, he would obligated to bring a delegation of Germerian diplomats to the meeting in order to ensure that any possible agreements made during the summit complied with the guidelines and constraints of his governorship, though Razconian consent would be required. Though he has agreed to go the summit, the Kommissar further clarified that he was going 'only out of concern for the national security of Varumia and the Empire', and that 'Any idea or certainty of Varumia joining a pan-Razonican confederation would only occur under the approval of the Kaiser'.

In other news, The Internal Security Bureau, or ISB, has recently been granted further funding by the Reichstag as Reichstag Speaker Septimius Halbeck's majority control is further eroded by Kommissar loyalists. The reasoning for increased funding is reported to be a result from increased smuggling activity from pro-Confederation activists from former Imperial Razonican territories, as well as newly founded pirate groups inspired by the foolhardiness of the Scainish pirates in the south of Elvarya. Today Legation Council Chairman Clementi has stated to the world at large that he intends to renew and maintain the claims the Legation Cities has on the former Scainish Islands in the Southern Vestila Ocean as talks of Scainish restoration are rumored to be held in the near future. "I wish to remind all Legation members that are on the Initiative council that these islands were gifted to the Mandate as a public show of support for the Mandate by the Initiative Council and that the situation leading to their donation was caused by the former Scainish government. On the news of the Plyrican-Claudian War, the Chairman reiterated the Mandate's strict doctrine on neutrality, refusing to directly aid either side unfavorably and stressed the neutrality of any Legation ships conducting trade in the region as neutral civilian vessels, with any attack on them to be viewed as an attack on the Mandate and all members. At the suggestion of Claudiopolis donating a city to join the Mandate, the Chairman expressed his approval of any donation, with the stipulation that should Plyric eventually win the war that they must honor the deal made by Claudiopolis, in return for receiving their portion of the annual profits.

The Arkhon Federation is excited to announce the eighth member of the Arkhonian International Bank - Caerion. Along with membership, the Federation has agreed to give free tech to the nation of Caerion and will bring trade to his islands. In return, Caerion signed over all mining rights to the Arkhon Federation for gold, silver, and oil. Production will begin in the next month. Caerion will also be placed on the INDEX of AGISE listed under CASE or the Caerion Stock Exchange. Stock in the small nation is projected to rise in a manner of months due to its appeal to investors and its association with the Arkhon Federation.

The Arkhonian Government is projected to release their plans for the war in Plyric later this weekend. Last month, the Arkhon Federation publically announced its support of the nation of Plyric and denounced the terrorist organization of Claudiopolis. The Arkhon Federation will join Nerodanus and Novo Razcon in military action against the terrorist organization - Caludiopolis.

Markets are looking good around the world with the Scainish Market rising 50 points as investors are pouring money into a respectable start-up. The Federal Senate is also projected to pass a bill to end slavery in the Arkhon Federation, marking a historical shift in public interest from the last fifty years. Although the Senate is in support of the bill, the assembly will need more convincing. Several Governors have publically announced their disapproval of the bill and the Senate's actions against the economy of the Arkhon Federation. We will likely see more news coming from the Senate later in the week.

Two fleets along with several Stratos forces will maintain their station in the Arkhonian Islands after Scain took back control of the islands yesterday. Arkhonian officials in the islands are worried about another attack on Arkhonian territory from Scainish Rebels. The Stratos High Command will release more information on the specifics later tomorrow.

In a first for Nerodanus since the founding of the Crimson Union, turned Elvarya Enente, Nerodanus neogitated with several Nations, including the Arkhon Federation, Novo Razcon, and Futrellia on the creation of the Commonwealth of Elvarya. The Commonwealth is dedicated to maintaining world peace through more direct matters, hoping to correct the mistakes that the Initiative has made. At the moment there is no single seat for the Commonwealth and members meet via a massive meeting on private networks. However plans have been set aside for one of the uninhabited islands in the Orvosic or Ustoic Seas to become a headquarters if needed. However construction of a new site is estimated to take at least 3 years and average 5 years depending on weather conditions and work needed.

With the Founding of the Commonwealth Nerodanus has formally left the Initiative. The organization has been relatively quiet during world events and many members have been non-participatory. The defense forces on the Island and the ambassador with her family have been recalled to Nerodanus, where former Initiative ambassador Mariya Nikolaev will become the ambassador to the Commonwealths International Court of Justice, with her background as a judge in the military and civilian courts, along with Vitaly Ivanovich as the ambassador to the General Council following the end of his term as a soviet council senator.

The Council of Scain is applying to the General Council of the Commonwealth of Elvarya, asking for economic assistance. The Council of Scain is interested in increasing trade going to and from Scain. From assistance from the Commonwealth and from the former assistance from the Arkhon Federation, Scain will make large profits. Scain is asking the Commonwealth to encourage trade flowing through the region, and expedite trade by placing funds in Scainish infrastructure.

The Arkhon Federation has Abolished Slavery

This morning Chancellor Theodore Marler signed the bill that will abolish slavery in the Arkhon Federation. The passing of the bill marks a shift in Arkhonian politics finally ending the reign of the Occillo party and some pro-slavery Viasus Members. The Senate, under the control of the Viasus party, began to decrease the slave population placing more restrictions on the sale and purchase of Arkhonians once they took power years ago. Since then the Viasus Party has received public support for their policies against the establishment of Slavery.

January of this year Senator Stephen Lansing proposed the Bill to End Slavery. It took an entire month for the bill to pass the Senate and another for it to pass the Assembly. Once it passed the legislative offices, the Chancellor signed the bill, confirming the Occillo party's fear - the end to slavery. Once the bill was signed, several members of the Senate and the Assembly resigned, prompting special elections to happen across the nation. Senate Leader - Mike Yoren abandoned his office saying, "This is not the Federation I remember." The Senate is expected to vote in Stephen Lansing as the new Senate Leader this afternoon.

Contrast to believe, the majority of Patricians are in favor of the abolishment of slavery. Several business owners including the CEO of the Arkhonian Bank hailed the government's action against the establishment of slavery. Although the majority is in support of the government, a strong minority is upset with the turn in government action. Several riots have broken out across the nation which were met with quick and brutal police de-escalation forces.

With the abolishment of Slavery, all former slaves will become Plebeian Citizens and will be awarded Universal Rights as listed in the Arkhonian Constitution. All former slaves will be placed in Technical Learning Centers where they will gain skills in mechanics and technology. This will prepare former slaves to integrate into the workforce as trained workers. The Bill also included clauses that will make it easier for Plebeians to move up the social ladder. Plebeians can now have children and can take the Rights to Citizenship Exam as many times as they want to become a Patrician.

The Government has big plans for the excess of funding left over from the Fiscal year 2018 for the slave population. All funds that were issued to go into the establishment of slavery will be placed into the automation of Arkhonian industry. Several billion dollars will also find its way to research in the Robotics field. The Arkhonian Academy has been conducting research on robotics for years - inventing machines with improved AI, movability, and function. The Arkhonian government would like the Academy to expedite their research so that robots can be inexpensively be manufactured on a large scale. The Arkhonian Government will also work closely with the Nerodanus Government to improve the field of Robotics.

The Arkhon Federation has finished building new offices for the Arkhonian Federal Space Administration as well as a new launch site. The new complex - The Arkhonian Space Center - is located 30 miles from Arkhib City on the Western Coast. The Launch site will be used for rockets heading to the International Space Station as well as for the Arkhonian Contribution to the lunar base. Today the AFSA also announced that another launch site - The Locus Launch Complex - will be built on the island acquired from the nation of Caerion. The site is projected to be the largest launch site built in Elvarya with several launch pads and accommodations for the world's leading space experts. Construction is awaiting approval from the Arkhonian Chancellery and will begin this summer.

Summer is around the corner, and the renovation of the Capitol for the 2019 Summer Olympic Games is underway. The Renovation, funded from the money acquired from Scain, will be finished no later than at the end of May. The games, which will be hosted in June, will be the first games in Elvarya marking global peace and cooperation. The theme of the games will be, "Peace in our Time".

Novo Razcon Declares War on Claudiopolis

The powder keg has erupted. Plyric and Claudiopolis are in a civil war after a sudden firefight broke out on the border; a Plyrican soldier accidentally stepped on a Claudiopolitan mine. In response, the Supreme Leader declared war on the rebellious state and has sent out his 200-aircraft Imperial Air Force and 20-ship Imperial Navy to strike Claudiopolis. To bolster the war effort, he has passed the Claudiopolis War Act, ordering all industries "non-essential to the economy or war" to divert their assets toward the war effort, which will include food, clothing, and general supply rationings to guarantee resources for the Imperial Military.

In related news, the Novo Razconian Space Agency will face a delay in its mission to get a man to Lunis due to the CWA, and the Supreme Leader is still awaiting a response from Razoria in regards to the CERS Summit.

Early this morning the Supreme Leader of the State of San Laozan has left his people. His aids have stated that he moved on to defend against the threats of the future. As such his successor Supreme Party leader Miguel Laoza, son of Supreme Leader Jose Laoza en memoria, will ascend to the position of leader of all San Laozans and defender of the Sacred City. The Supreme Leader has stated that a funeral for his successor will occur on March first and the day will be a day of national mourning.

This goes along with the recent donation of a consulate to New Scotland. Supreme Leader Responds to Condemnation

Earlier today, the Empire faced a vote of condemnation from the Elvaryan Commonwealth over its use of chemical weapons against civilians in the intervention of Scain. In response, the Supreme Leader has declared the following points:

1. No more attacks on civilians of any sort will be ordered in spite of the possibility of the draft.

2. The Air Force has been instructed to return to the Tadbu military base to unload its chemical weaponry to be replaced with conventional alternatives at the earliest convenience.

Famous actor Bernar Sion dies

The great Samanian actor Bernar Sion passed passed away today at the age of 72 after a long struggle with severe illness, it was confirmed by SCNA.

Sion died this morning in a hospital in Ungadur. Sion will be buried on Monday, March 6. in the hall of Meritorious Citizens at the New Cemetery in Ungadur, and on that day the commemoration will be held at the Grand Central Theater.

Bernar Sion was operated in February 2015 at the Clinic for Digestive Diseases of the Clinical Center. In May his condition worsened and he was admitted to the Clinical Center in a difficult condition, but doctors managed to save his life.
Since then, with fewer interruptions, he has been on constant hospital treatment.


In his 50-years long career, Bernar Sion achieved close to 180 stakes bought on TV and film.
he recieved numerous awards and will be remembered as one of the greatest actors ever to appear on Samanias stage.
