While I admire the two new candidates, I must ask you take it a slight step back with the tech. This IS the year 1871 we're starting in, meaning most rifles would still be either lever or breech in firing mechanism.

There would obviously be exceptions to this rule, but any such exceptions would be in the early phases of bolt action development. That means teething problems and single shots.

Other than that, they look great so far.

National goals: To establish themselves on the world stage, prove their mettle, and secure their nations future.

National leader: President Marcus Vivance

National Government: Founded upon the principal of equality and freedom, the government has three tiers.

The local government has sixty-three representatives, one for each county, that are elected every two years. Their primary job in this position is to send grievances to the next tier of government, allocate funds, suggest laws, and manage their counties.

The Provincial Congress is the next tier; there are 13 members who are elected by each province. Their primary purpose is to write legislation based on grievances, allocate funds to the counties, and budget for the military and government based programs.

Specialty: Supreme accuracy, renowned the world over as the telltale sign of a Sceojian; this works perfectly for their skirmishing tactic.

Cavalry

Primary Weapon: repeating version of the above Weapon, chambered in 10.4x38 with an 11 round tube magazine.

Secondary: Same as infantry

Melee Weapon: A standard cavalry saber and a kukuri knife, derived from the Ghurka's in India's mountains.

Uniform: Same as infantry, excepting the introduction of a cavalry ensign.

Greatest strengths: the fastest horses in Sceoji and ferocious raiding training; they are more than capable of overcoming most line infantry and supply guards are no task at all.

Greatest weakness: Designed to be fast and light, they are unable to stand up to heavy cavalry, and they can be a tad unruly as they normally act free of orders in their supply raids.

Tactics: As aforementioned, to hit and destroy the enemy supply lines, disrupt and harrass enemy formations, and otherwise skirmish and weaken their foe.

NATION INFORMATION

Nation name: The Federal Union of Rannoria

National goals: To thrive. That's, uh, really it.

Nation's Leader: Grand Odjen Kar

National Government: Governers in each province are elected from the ones in each province every 5 years and a council is formed. The Grand is voted also by the people, and the Grand voting is national, meaning that anyone in Rannoria can vote. Provincial governors manage their province, and any passing of law must be dealt with the Grand. The Grand is the highest rank in the government.

National history: Rannoria was a land that was originally from Lubezyk. The peoples of there were originally divided into two groups. The Banjoists, which were people who were intent on tradition and worshiping the gods, and the Sitarists, who put science before everything. This conflict lead to the War of the Twin Peninsula, which took place in Lubezyk, which was dominantly Banjoist, and Fengate, which was dominantly Sitarist. Eventually the Banjoists won, due to better morale, better location, and numbers, despite the Sitarists being more advanced. This would become a problem later for Rannoria, but nowhere near the 19th or 20th century. The Banjoists needed a name, and they named the nation after the great leader, Rannos Vararria. Thus, Rannoria was formed.

They soon also accepted the SItarist way of modernization, and caught up quick. They won over Eglise Saint Eve in the Campaign of Verxxonzi, driving out the natives, and soon decided upon the Maxtopian land, ruled by King Balazer VI of House Crenvill. Despite being Maxtopian lands, the Alvaksers drove them out into different territories, and settled. They were almost as technologically advanced as the Rannoire, had bigger lands, more food, and more soldiers. The battles raged on, with the final Rannoire victory in the Battle for Yaell. The lands were split up into Maxtopia, which Rannoria owned, Sterkspruit, and Agramer, which would go on to rule under different nations.

Now a new age has started.

Greatest Strengths: Intimidation, morale, and good survival skills

Greatest Weaknesses: Bad at desert or mountain fighting.

Tactics: Divide an army into three, then send them wave after wave, causing enemy troops to falter. If enemy has more troops, we send our horses first.

Specialty: Has undying morale and honor for the land

Cavalry


Primary Weapon: Snider-Enfield

Secondary Weapon: LeMat Revolver

Melee Weapon: Shashka

Uniform: Same as infantry, but colors are grey and yellow

Greatest Strengths: Can go berserk, can create chaos

Greatest Weaknesses: Can get reckless, can be prone to all normal cavalry things

Tactics: If the infantry tactic doesn't work, cavalrymen go up. They just trample everything, and they move around a lot. More chaotic than intimidating, and infantry follow behind.

Specialty: Create chaos
